i don't get how you say you hate izzy and acknowledge him for being ed's abuser but still ship them together it doesn't make sense to me 😭 not hate or anything it just genuinely confuses me

lol i assume ur saying that i ship them together bc i have a blackhands tag which like, i tag the shit out of everything so just bc i have a ship tagged doesnt mean i ship it. the tag might just be for sorting purposes. the question of whether i ship blackhands is more complicated than just a yes or no, but also there are posts in that tag that are less about shipping and are more about rlly digging into what i (or other ppl) think the canon dynamic is between ed and izzy, including what i/we think their feelings are towards each other. and bc izzy having unrequited feelings for ed is part of his deal in s1, that sort of post will absolutely get tagged #blackhands

when it comes to shipping blackhands tho i definitely DO NOT think they should be together romantically and/or sexually. their dynamic is so deeply toxic and they bring out the worst in each other (izzy especially brings out the worst in ed bc like, the entire reason izzy was created as a character to exist in this show at all was to be an externalization of ed's worst fears and insecurities and thought patterns and harmful behaviors). ed and izzy fucking, or even worse, dating would be incredibly unhealthy for both of them.

that being SAID. because their relationship is so deeply fucked up it is fun for me to rotate them in my head on occasion. there is so much to chew on there and im intrigued enough to start chomping on from time to time (but im not into them enough to focus the majority of my energy on them, bc at the end of the day this is the Ed and Stede Show, yknow?). like to me the dynamic is that izzy wants ed to be this aggressive and violent caricature of masculinity and to dominate him and ed would only ever engage with that as a form of self-harm. if i were to write something for this (which i might, idk, i have a lot of stuff in my head but i rarely finish writing anything) it would be izzy topping from the bottom and thinking "this is blackbeard's true nature and only i can serve him like this" while ed is just like "this sucks so much. i hate everything that's happening. i deserve this."

anyway this fic by @chocolatepot is like the holy grail of what edizzy is to me. it is not a happy time for ed.

FIRE EMBLEM FYI: Specifically for 3Houses/3Hopes because I need a separate one for this franchise specificially given how many crazy things I got due to being involved in this fanbase via my fanworks:

DO NOT try to convince me to like or tolerate Byleth/student ships, ESPECIALLY the ones with the lords (aka CIaude, Dimitri, EdeIgard). I already summarized why I don’t like FE3H Byleth ships with student chars here. While the spinoff game FEW3H has now removed that teacher/student problematic situation, the fandom keeps putting the FE3H elements into the FEW3H fanworks (i.e. remembering Byleth from “another life” trope)...so no thanks!! DO NOT SHOW ME IT!!!

As for the Byleth ships with faculty members, my response is here so don’t try to bait me about that topic either thanks.

I do not care whom you ingame S-support. 3Houses limits the dating-sim part of the game to that character, so I cannot care less about how you play the game. The main issue I have is when people treat Byleth the “character” as a legit ship material when I personally think they are a cool character ruined by fans who are too obsessed with badly executed self insert otome tropes bc they self-project super hard onto them. Just to be clear, any FE3H or FEW3H OC/Canon >>>>>>Byleth ships personally. Even Byleth-sonas that remove the teacher/student aspects are better than canon FE3H!Byleth

Please don't drag FE VA statements as some sort of “gotcha” on my opinions like this post here. IDC what other people prefer with ship shit, that’s their problem and not mine. I am not gonna bother them about it. So don’t bother ME about it.

I reblogged something that touched on this but I really wanna say my own thing and elaborate more.

Even if you don't follow me, you've probably seen my name in the tags. A lot of people know me as "the liveblog account" or specially "the BBH liveblog account." Which is great and true and I'm glad that's how you know me. It's pretty clear how much love I have for Bad, both in a platonic viewer to streamer sense, and all of his characters.

When I watched DSMP, I knew cBBH and I enjoyed him, but he was never really my number one to watch or keep updated on the story for. And I sort of regret that and there's a lot of story I don't know completely and still go back for. And I knew about QSMP and tried to get into it before, but I didn't officially start watching until Quackity's election results stream. And when that ended I knew other people would probably/hopefully go live. I knew the winner didn't speak English normally so I said I would check out second place winner Bad for at least a bit because he spoke English and cause I know people like him. What the heck. Well here I am eight months later. Anyway.

I love Bad as a person and creator because he's so creative, but I love specifically qBBH because of his lore, absolutely, but I love how subtle he is. It'll be a relatively normal stream and then all the sudden he'll say something like "I remember a pyramid" talking about DSMP and "I don't remember there being gas masks" talking about hunger games and "back when I was looking down" talking about general fallen angel lore then act like nothing happened.

This guy knows exactly what strings to pull to lead us and when. He knows how much to say and when he should say it. He loves making us smile or sometimes cry with big lore drops but he also loves driving us crazy and making us rethink and giving little hints and little drops.

And that's one of the biggest reasons I've become the blog I've become, because he makes you come back for more, because you never know what to expect, and I love it.

Starting off a little early to have enough time to write and embrace the fall mood without cramming it all into one very spooky month. Last year I think I think I kinda burnt out 😔 so extra time for us all this year for spooky (and horny if you so choose)!

Rules: Can be a starter or a drabble. I can send it to you however you want. An @ post, ask, send it to you on disco. You can send your preferences how ever you want. Reblog this, send me an ask, dm. Just pick a monster and a setting! My muse can be the monster or your muse can. Can be NSFW or not. Just be clear af about what you want.

Monster List:

Vampire: Pointy teeth, ashen/pale

Werewolf: Human form normal, usually wolf form is big and scary humanoid

Dragon: Usually has a human form with some dragon like aspects if so desired(wings and horns). Or can be totally human with the faint hint like oblong pupils and sharp teef

Incubus/Demon: smol horns and little tail when low level. Big scary horns and long whip like tail when higher level

Merperson/Siren/Oceanid: Dealers Choice if they got the fish tail or are more like the og, which are beautiful human formed nymphs who lure unsuspecting souls to the water

Kitsune: Fox sprites. Known for their mischievous nature and trickery. But they can also be contracted to corrupted souls as a guide/servant of sorts. Usually have fox ears and tail in human form.

Cryptid: idk make them spooky and weird. Mix them with an animal or two into a corrupted form

Oni: big scary ogre monster. One to three horned. Good for size difference stuff.

Dryad/Nymph: human like forest sprites that are tied to nature. Dryad more tied to a certain tree. They’re supposed to be drop dead irresistible and to harm their home would harm them

Fairy: up to you if ur thinking fun sized or not. Some fae/fairy lore has them usually as human like with some odd aura about them and have a trait of some sort. Like dream weaving or influencing the mind

Witch/Wizard: a person of magical abilities

Elf: the sexy kind not the keebler kind. With the long pointy ears and long beautiful lines in their designs.

Chimera of some kind: idk if muse has a second form or some kind of transformation incorporate something spooky or different to monsterfy it.

Free card: request a monster not on the list. So long as they can still communicate in some way.

and you're totally right about the recipes--they start with his crazy, scraggly writing from when he was five (mic 2, 30 sekets, most of the letters are backward) and get more mature as he gets older, and the recipes get more complicated. they're on motel pads of paper and napkins and the backs of sun-faded receipts.

one of my personal headcanons is that the one school year sam did soccer (if you remember dean's nostalgic joy about it ("one of the only times you were allowed to be a real boy")), dean attended all of his practices. at first, it was so he could keep an eye on him, because he wasn't used to leaving him alone--and they were in town for a hunt, after all--then he told sam it was so he could hit on all the other soccer moms.

but they talked about local gossip ("did you hear about monica's husband? died on a hunting trip!") and kid-rearing tips ("we use gatorade when jeremy's sick because of the electrolytes" "vaporub will save you, but you can make some of your own using XYZ" "wait, you put WHAT in mac and cheese") and dean still uses the safety-pin-in-the-seam trick they taught him when he has to do a quick repair on his jacket.

you could always find a line of moms on the bleachers with their dye jobs and underlined eyes, and a fifteen year old dean, tobacco stained fingers and four layers of shirts.

dean cheers when sam makes a goal even in practice, and sam gets upset if dean is distracted and misses one. the moms all call him "dean's sam" and sam fuzzes warm and happy when dean leads him away with an arm across his shoulders because yes!! in fact, he is!!

no apologies AT ALL!!! i completely agree--parentification (esp dean's parentification) makes me bite straight through cardboard, lol!

A HYPMIC INTERACTIVE MOVIE??

Just saw the news about it. Ramblings below the cut.

I THOUGHT A SECOND SEASON OF THE ANIME WAS CRAZY, AND NOW A MOVIE!! WOOOO

The idea of an interactive movie and the poster in general has given me a lot of thoughts though.

Such as why is Doppo the only one not standing up among the divisions?

But also logistically is this going to be a full movie that takes the place of the drama tracks narratively, a pre-3rd DRB thing to set up the conflicts, goals and matchups?

Considering the poster seems to be in 3D I’m ready to expect this to be a sort of choose your own adventure somehow?

Or maybe this could be the first round of the 3rd DRB though I really don’t know how it’s going to be interactive if it’s in a theater (short of the crowd cheering = something happening).

What is even going to be the plot considering that the most recent drama tracks have been about reveals or conflicts getting resolved. I have not listened to every song but I know a lot of them have become more chill.

Is this going to be canon? This movie is going to be canon right?

Since there’s going to be a Chuohku album this year, will Chuohku be joining the DRBs? Maybe like a final boss? Or fighting the last two champions?

I have a lot of thoughts on the potential matchups of the divisions.

How do you make a movie interactive? Will there be multiple endings?

Personally I’m not a fan of potentially the whole movie being 3D, but I’m hoping that this means we could get more animated action scenes with them using their rap abilities.

I’m holding out the slim hope that we get to eventually learn about Otome, Ichijuku and Nemu’s rap abilities.

RAP ABILITIES!! I really really want to see rap abilities in action. Maybe not exactly like the manga but I want them to talk about the abilities. Or just use them and have it be animated.

Here’s to also hoping for more interaction between divisions.

what do you think about tsc being a triology, I feel like two books can hopefully give Jeremy the depth he needs i remember you found him a bit flat as well when you read the book, I see a lot of people saying he needs to have a mean side or a traumatic past but I feel like a kind, nice character can be interesting without those things and not every kind character needs to have this secret mean side anyway, personally I groaned out loud when I found out it was a triology bc that would mean the fandom would be alive for longer and it's so crazy out of any book fandom I've ever been in for some reason the aftg fandom feels the most obnoxious maybe it's bc the books deal with heavier topics close to the heart so there's more feelings involved🤔the only book fandom who has pissed me off a comparable amount would be asoiaf but that's a whole different thing

LOL i understand honestly so many of these discussions are repackaged wide-spread 2015 opinions which don’t reflect the original text that it’s hard to do anything except use the we have this thread every week comrade image and let it go. andrew being misogynistic is not even hard to come to terms with considering it’s not an interpretation or a headcanon it’s the author’s own words and will for the character incorporated into canon. there are things to disagree with nora sakavic for, but ultimately there is a difference between disagreeing with the author and willfully ignoring the intention with which a character was written

& i didn’t really care much for the news, i think the lack of planning and the rushed way the books are coming along are grating on both the author and the fandom, but i don’t blame her for wanting to get this done and over with. it will show more insight on jeremy hopefully, but unfortunately i already don’t care 😭 i think the route tsc took was in general uninteresting and pedestrian enough to not warrant a second thought, and i’m not particularly interested in any plotline beyond what pertains to kevin and the ravens. what surprised me really is the total lack of impact tsc had on the fandom, which is to say, i think it was so in line with the same 3-5 headcanons passed around the last 10 years that it has genuinely done nothing for anyone aside from the people who were already very invested in jean and/or jeremy. it feels like a different fandom from aftg altogether, which i’m happy about if only because it keeps us all locked in different cages, but it still baffles me to see people dedicate so much thought to a book whose characters bar jean are, as of now, the very definition of Nothing burger. all in all the answer to that question and most questions pertaining to tsc is Who cares. because literally who cares

who am i and what is this blog for?

i’m grace. i don’t really like sharing many personal details, but i will state that i am 18.

i am obviously a loki fangirl, but i also like: the legend of zelda, splatoon, attack on titan, grimes, björk, and more. i do also like other mcu characters as well but i’m just… more normal about them than i am about loki.

like i said in my bio… this is an anti loki series blog, and i am critical of ragnarok as well. of course if you like these things (specifically ragnarok) still feel free to follow. it’s just i definitely won’t follow back blogs that heavily reblog/post series content, blogs that strictly post the variant/do not post anything that has to do with the og loki, and blogs that reblog/post a lot of lokius/sylki content.

Summary: Liz has the best friends a girl could ask for. Harley, Mikey, and Natasha have been her people since elementary school, and Trevor and Amanda since middle school. Their whole lives, things have been pretty much the same. Same kids in their classes every year. Same streets between the same houses. Same, same, same. At the end of her freshman year of high school, just about when Liz is wondering how much same she could possibly handle, she catches Trevor’s eye as he laughs at someone’s joke, and something deep inside her lights up. Something she doesn’t know what to do with. Something she can't push back down once it comes barreling up to the surface. So much for same. After that, things can’t stop changing. And not just in her own life—her friend group starts pulling apart at the seams. Harley begins withdrawing from everyone with no explanation. Mikey gets in bigger trouble with his dad than ever. Natasha only has a year before she has to move off to college. Amanda is stuck between the person she is and the person the world wants her to be. Trevor seems to have gotten off easy, but Liz can’t be around him for more than a minute without falling head over heels all over again. In this collection of short stories, Liz has to wonder if the change of pace she thought she wanted is worth it. Sometimes it’s hard to be brave, and she’s never been the most open to change, but unfortunately, that does not stop it from happening. The only question is: what is she going to do about it?

It’s been on ice lately, since the plot has gone through so many changes that I haven’t known what to do with it in a while, but one of my goals with posting about it is to warm myself back up to it. The Together List (TTL)

Summary: Audrey is in her first month of college. Within three weeks, she’s moved out of her childhood bedroom and into a room with a window that seems to open on its own and a door that creaks loud enough to wake up the whole floor, she’s stumbled into a friend group that seemed to pull itself together like drawstrings, and she’s gotten a job at an adorable independent milkshake shop with her roommate and one of her new friends. What more could she possibly ask for? The world, it seems. Audrey has a list ten miles long of all the little things she wants college to be. One night, she starts listing them out loud. Her friends—Logan, Lennon, McKinley, Aspen, and Levi—chime in with their own after a moment, and before anyone knows it it’s been three hours and they haven’t stopped. They aren’t even sure whose idea it is, but they start writing it down. Every box on this ridiculously decorated list will be checked off by the end of the year, they swear. Someone makes an Instagram account as a joke, but by the first post it’s become as serious an endeavor as they’ve ever had. They wouldn’t call themselves local celebrities, but they certainly wouldn’t correct you if you did. The thing about fame at this age, even at small amounts, is that it's bound to go to someone's head...

TTL was created on August 18, 2021. I saw a post on Pinterest of someone's summer bucket list and that sounded like such a fun thing to do with friends that I had to write about it. Two and a half-ish years later, TTL has also gone through many changes, so I'm sort of trying to refresh it now. I'm very excited to see where it takes me!

(Fun fact: the main character, Audrey, is the older sister of Trevor from NHWE!)

The Violet Sisters Club (TVSC)

Summary: The Violet Sisters Club, a world famous all-female pop rock band, is facing a very public lawsuit from a former hotheaded manager over their most recent album. Following the conclusion of their case, lead singer Naomi Tyler, drummer Inez Wilde, guitarist Chrissy Cameron, and bassist Francesca Sheridan escape to the luxurious Overlook Estate, a privately owned rental property on an island off the southern coast of California. Here, they can spend the summer out of the public eye, writing songs they don’t need to worry about releasing and letting the public wonder what they’re up to as they let the tension out of their muscles. With a property four times the size of Alcatraz Island and a beach over a mile long, the Overlook offers the band a respite from the go, go, go of touring, the privacy invasion of paparazzi, and the exhaustion of being micromanaged every minute of every day. Four pools, seven hot tubs, the aforementioned private beach, a high tech recording studio (just in case), a few golf carts just to get around the property and a Jeep to get to town. It’s unimaginably expensive, it’s incomprehensibly big, and it’s everything they need. But this escape may not be the relaxing California beach paradise they imagined. Soon, it becomes hard to hide how much the stress of fame was eating away at each of them—emotions run high, patiences run thin, days run long, nights run longer, and the strength of the band is questioned as the girls’ insecurities and anxieties bubble to the surface after a lifetime in the spotlight.

TVSC was created on February 5, 2023, but the characters have been around almost as long as TTL. Initially, I created the Violet Sisters Club as a fictional band that would exist within The Together List, but at some point I couldn't get the idea of a TVSC-focused novel out of my head. I'm glad I never did, because some of my favorite ideas I've ever had have gone into TVSC. If I could have one wish, it would be for all of TVSC's songs to be real so I could listen to them without having to write them first.

Now That We Don’t Talk (NTWDT)

Summary: There are two important things to know about Hazel Henry and Saiah Bradford.  One: They kinda-sorta hate each other after they broke up last year at prom. (The same prom that ended with the school almost burning down and Hazel's twin brother's best friend going to the hospital. Bad memories all around.) Two: Someone on the planning committee for their senior class trip must be out to get them, because when they arrive at the hotel, they find out they’ve been assigned to the same room. This should have been impossible; Saiah requested to be paired with her best friend, Tory, who's going to have some explaining to do later, and Hazel would bet her life on the fact that she requested a room alone. Now, for the next two weeks, they’re both stuck in the same narrow room with its little square bathroom and practically-nonexistent privacy. The air conditioner turns on at random times, they seem to be paired together for every single scheduled activity, and perhaps worst of all—their friends all seem to find this situation absolutely hilarious.  But it’s just two weeks, right? It’ll be over before they know it, and soon they can both go back to pretending their relationship—and each other—never existed. Right? Right? Happy senior year to them.

NTWDT was created on October 18, 2023. Hilariously, I came up with the plot after making Hazel and Saiah in the Sims, and I literally couldn't stop thinking about them whenever I wasn't playing. As I do with every character I create, I became obsessed with them, and now here we are. And in case you're wondering, yes, I named it after the Taylor Swift song lol.

Trouble In Paradise (TIP)

Today, Joe is preparing to move out of his and his ex-wife's house and drive across the country once more, joined by his daughter, Bryce, and his best friend/his daughter's biological father, Ben. It's all familiar—the long stretches of empty fields, collapsing onto a cheap hotel bed for the night, never being able to decide where to stop for food—and yet, Joe has no idea what he's in for.  This is a story of two cross-country road trips, and the lives that one woman is able to ruin in between. Joe Alexander and Ben King have both lost their entire worlds to Lilly Alexander. But the ones they’ve gained after her might be—in some weird, unconventional way—a little better.

TIP is technically my newest WIP, since I came up with the full plot earlier this year (February 13, 2024). I've had the vague idea of it for just over a year, but I didn't quite know what to do with it until recently. It's definitely more mature with its topics than my other wips, as you might be able to tell by the themes, but I really like the concept and I've had a lot of fun plotting it so far, even if it's a little out of my comfort zone.

(Fun fact: the original title way back when the characters didn't even have last names was High Infidelity, after the Taylor Swift song, since I thought it was so thematically appropriate.)
