wow! talk about a scummy way to advertise to people!

let me have a terminally online nitpicky moment for a second.

what i'm trying to show in these screenshots are reblogs of memes that have ads for stuff when you click on the OP. now first off, bait-and-switching like this just to shill stuff guarantees you a one way ticket to hell. sorry, i don't make the rules.

second off, in case i havent made it clear enough, these "dude look at this cute trinket.... oh omg guys i found the original, heres the link to it!" posts that gimmick accounts make and reblog are literally just sponsor posts. "god i want it too" is the response they are trying to elicit from you because it adds notes to their post if you vocalize it. at the end of the day, big gimmick accounts are not your friends and are trying to sell you stuff.

yes i know this is all nice that theyre pushing, but do you really need a dragon ring or a ghost candle holder? also i'm pretty sure you can get a tea set with plates and more cups for less than $80.
