MCFLY JULY â24 ⸺ ă 18 / 31 * ROLL WITH ME, HENRY ă
November 12, 1959, Lone Pine Timeline
Outside the Conservatory of Flowers, San Francisco
George thumbs the small box burning a hole in his pocket for the fourth time in the last ten minutes, checking and double-checking it was still there. Lorraine hasnât noticed him checking yetâor if she has, she hasnât said anythingâand that calms some of his mounting nerves.
Everything was going to be fine. And even if it doesnât go perfectly to plan, you know sheâll say yes.
Theyâve gotten through the ups-and-downs of school, university, and life together over the course of these last four years; if they can weather all that and still be deeply in love, then him tripping over his own feet or dropping the box when heâs trying to open it because heâs been blinded by her radiance or whatever other hiccups they run into wonât change a thing.
Lorraine finally lets go of his handâbut not before giving it a gentle squeezeâto shield her eyes from the sun and sigh dreamily as she marvels at the elegant building and all the love and care put into restoring it. It was all she talked about when the news first came; how she wanted to take a trip out together and see it not just in the newspapers.
The sun shoots every which way off the building, ricocheting like laser beams shot from on-high. George squints, throwing his original plan entirely out the window to preserve this moment forever in his memory: Lorraine, warm streaks of gold woven into the waves of her hair and outlined by white light that gave her an almost ethereal appearanceâan angel come down to grace them all with her presence.
Forget waiting until dinner.
âLorraine?â
âYeah?â
Her hands fly to her mouth as George drops to one knee, wearing that look that makes her feel like she's the only woman in the universe. Lorraineâs breath catches when he produces the box. Much to his silent relief, he opens it without a hitch to show her the diamond shaped like the infinite love he has for her.
George smiles and Lorraine furiously dabs at her eyes, fighting back against the tears threatening to fall.
âI love you, Lorraine. Destiny brought us together and I want us to be together for the rest of our lives. Will you marry me?â
âOh George⌠Yes! Yes, Iâll marry you!â Lorraine leaps forward, nearly knocking him off-balance as he struggles to catch her and keep his grip on the ring.
They share a passionate kiss with the sun as their witness and George slips the ring onto her finger as Lorraine's tears finally fall.

THIS IS A WORK OF FICTION! I DO NOT CONDONE ANY OF THE ACTIONS WRITTEN BELOW; ALL THAT IS WRITTEN IS PURE FICTION AND FANTASY!
Summertime was always a weird time for you.
When you were a child, your parents would just send you off to a camp to avoid dealing with you for a while, and when you were sent back home, youâd hide in your room while they fought for hours on end.
Even after they got divorced, the arguments seemed to never end. A constant battle over who would have the responsibility of caring for you all summer finally being settled when your grandmother offered to take you in until the season was over.
Now, as a university student, you would be spending your summer at your mother and her new husband, Mr. Kennedy's, home.
Interactions with both your parents had been scarce when you started university. You simply just didn't have the time or energy for them to berate you with your hectic schedule. It was no surprise to hear your mother had been dating; with your father getting married a few years prior and her having a few boyfriends here and there, you couldnât bring yourself to care about her love life. You did start caring when she told you she was engaged.
It came as a huge shock when you finally met the mystery man.
He was handsome.
Everything about him was striking; he was an Adonis, simply too beautiful to be human. So beautiful that you nearly forgot your mother was right there and that the only reason you met was because he was to marry her.
How could your mother draw a man like him into her iron-clad grip? He was charming, caring, attentive, conscientious, and frankly too good for a woman like her, or anyone for that matter. Leon Scott Kennedy was simply too good to be true.
You truly had no idea how they had gotten into a relationship. Hell, you didn't even know your mother wanted to get married again. It was all a huge question mark for you. The only thing you were sure of was his name, age, and your affinity for him.
The wedding happened exactly three months after you met. You knew it was wrong, but you couldnât help the sinful thoughts you had as they married. He just looked so handsome in his suit that you couldnât help but fantasize about his big hands touching you, ignoring the wedding band tying him to your mother.
Laying in bed that night, furiously rubbing your aching clit, you moaned his name and thought of how you wished he was yours instead of your mother's. But more importantly, you tried to pull your head out of the clouds and make yourself remember that it would never happen.
Little did you know that all those countless nights you spent fantasizing about him, he was thinking of you too. It was his fucking honeymoon and he couldnât stop thinking of you. Jerking himself off, thinking of your alluring face and delicate body. He couldnât resist using the image of a little beauty like yourself to get him off, even while the beautyâs mother slept right beside himâŚ
â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・
You are so fucking naive and clueless to not realize how obvious you were being with your crush on your stepfather. It was clear as day to any man who had ever been lusted over that you liked Leon more than a stepdaughter should.
Of course Leon knew; he knew from the moment he saw that shyness show up in your beautiful eyes when he first introduced himself that you had a crush, and damn, he is more than happy about it.
Every time his precious stepdaughter and his wife left home he would snoop through his sweet angel's room. It started out smallâjust quick peeks, leaving everything aloneâbut overtime it began to escalate.
Leon only does it because he cares; he wants to make sure his precious baby is happy and isnât getting into any trouble. At least that was his justification. He knew you were quite a covert girl; being raised Catholic and raised by sanctimonious (hypocritical) parents, you were never one to step out of line, fearing the wrath of your parents. Being sent to an all-girls Catholic school, your interactions with boys and men had been few and limited; he was sure the only friends you had who were boys were your family members. You were hardly ever allowed to go out without the supervision of your mother, but it still didnât hurt to check. After all, you are now one of his responsibilities.
When Leon would go through your drawers to see the clothes you hid from your mother that you bought at cheap second-hand stores, knowing that she would scream and berate you for owning a skirt that goes above the knee, he would imagine how beautiful you must look in them and how happy you must be wearing something you truly liked, even if you could only wear it in the safety of your room; it made his heart flutter.
His favorite thing to do in your room was to read your diaries. He thought it was so adorable how you kept every single one that youâve ever had. It was a big invasion of privacy, but you didnât even bother to hide your most recent one, and he just couldnât resist. Reading them was exhilarating; learning more about you and what goes on in your little head made him feel closer to you. Leon just wants to know so he can protect you better, understand you better, and learn to love you better.
He thought it was adorable how youâd write about almost every interaction heâs ever had with you, like the time he bought you your favorite singer's vinyl records and a Polaroid camera after you asked your mother if you could buy them yourself a few days prior and she refused to let you. You jumped into his arms, hugging him with all your heart and giving him infinite âthank you so much, Mr. Kennedyâs." It was the touchiest youâve ever been with him, and your perfume lingers on the shirt he has tucked away, refusing to wash your scent from it.
One of Leonâs favorite diary entries of yours was the one where you first met. He loved it so much that he snapped a photo of it just so he could read it whenever he wanted.
February 1st
I just got back from dinner with mom and her fiancĂŠ, Leon Kennedy <3 I called him Mr. Kennedy all night even though he insisted I call him Leon cause I got so nervous and just couldnât look him in the eye. He was so freaking handsome, he has the prettiest eyes. I never thought a man could be so handsome. Itâs not fair how mom has him, she doesnât deserve him. Gosh heâs just so handsome, I wanted him to just take me in his arms and kiss me like in the movies !!! I hate that his heart belongs to mom, how come she gets to have a man like Leon instead of some ugly fat bald dude ?? I know itâs so wrong but I canât help but like him, he was so nice to me tonight my heart is still pounding. He even gave me a nickname ! He said I look like a doll and called me doll face more than my name, gosh my heart is fluttering just thinking about it !!! If anyone finds out Iâll just die, this is so so so wrong but I canât help it. I know heâs going to be my stepfather but I want him to look at me with his pretty eyes, I want him to hold my hand, I want him to be the one to hold me, I want him to say I love you to me, I want to be the one marrying him instead of my contemptible mother !!! I know itâs perverse and dirty but I wish he wanted me instead of her.
Leon loved it. He loved seeing the vicious, possessive, dirty side of you.
What he loved even more was reading your entries about how much you wanted him to love on you, even if it was rather on the innocent side. Just something about you writing down your fantasies made his cock stir, reading things like-
May 26th
Iâve been with mom and Leon for 2 days, my stuff is all moved into the house and it basically looks the same.
I saw Leon <3 and mom through the kitchen window while I was reading in the backyard kissing and he had his hand on her neck but then she yanked it away and rolled her eyes before leaving. If I were her Iâd let him do what he wanted to me. If I knew how to french kiss Iâd do it with him all the time, let him wrap his hand around my neck while I sit in his lap and just french kiss for hours. All my friends have done it before but Iâve only gotten the tiniest of pecks. I know itâs sinful to like my stepdad but fantasy never hurt anyone ??
-Leon would teach you how to french kiss and so much more.
Digging through your panty drawer, his eyes widened. Instead of seeing your usual cotton underwear with cute patterns, he instead saw a pair of lace white panties with a pink bow at the bottom of the drawer as an attempt to hide it away. This was clearly meant to be a set of sorts. He felt his heart nearly burst as he sifted through your bras to get to the bottom, only to find the matching white lace bra with a pink bow in the middle.
Why the fuck did you have these?
Was there someone you were going to wear them for?
He needed answers and he needed them now. He hadnât read your diary yet so he hoped that the answer could be in there. Snatching it from your desk, his eyes frantically scanned through the pages until he found what he was looking for.
June 3rd
Mom let grandmother take me out shopping with her and I had a really good time !! I do miss spending summers there but getting to see Leon makes up for it hehe :) I really do wish mom would let me see grandmother more often though. She took me to the mall and she got me a bikini and a pair of actual proper lingerie !!! I know it might be weird for her to buy me that but she told me every girl needs a proper pair and mom would kill me if I asked her and I just wanted to have something to make me feel pretty even if no one knows I have it. It feels good to be a little more normal, it sucks that all the other girls get to show off their pretty swimsuits and wear pretty lingerie while i look like a chump in my stupid one piece bathing suit and stupid cotton underwear and ugly bras. Mom says itâs gross to have these things even though I saw the receipt from a lingerie store on the table right before her honeymoon, what a hypocrite. I had to sneak it in wearing both the bikini and bra under my normal clothes haha, Iâm even wearing my new garments as Iâm writing this. I think Iâll even change into my bikini in a little bit just for fun. It was a good day :).
Jesus you are so fucking cute
Relief washed over him instantly, but his heart cracked. You're such a beautiful girl, and you didnât even know it. He saw the way boys and men would look at you; he even saw the jealousy in your own mother's eyes. How did you not know that you were drop-dead gorgeous? With beauty like yours, you could wear rags and still be the most beautiful thing to walk the earth. You looked exactly like a doll, you didn't need lingerie or bikinis to be pretty.
Leon knew from reading all your journals that the reason you felt this way was because of your upbringing; your parents werenât exactly ones to instill confidence but preferred to tear you down and keep you in a constant state of vacillation so youâd have to constantly rely on them.
A notification dragged him from his thoughtsâa text from your mother saying that youâd both be home in 5 minutesâas he began to clean he kept thinking of how beautiful you looked in your pretty lingerie and how he would be getting to actually see you in it soon.
â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・
This was absolutely perfect.
The moment the words left your mother's mouth, Leon felt the blood rush to his pants. When he glanced at you sitting on the sofa and saw you squish your thighs together, he knew you felt the same heat too.
It was like the stars aligned; your mother would leave for her close friends bachelorette party week abroad in Mexico and leave you and Leon all alone. Fate was truly on both your sides.
Until he heard your mothers voice say-
"You could always spend the week at your father's if you donât want to stay here with Leon, honey. We can drop you off the night before I leave. Would you rather do that?"
Fuck, maybe you would say you wanted to be with your father.
"No, no, itâs alright. I want to be here with all my stuff and adjust to the new house better; I'm still getting used to it."
Another wave of relief washed over him.
âOkay honey, are you okay with that Leon?â
âOh, yeah, of course. Iâll be working most of it anyway.â
A lie, he would immediately call the DSO to tell them heâd be taking the entire week off.
Leon glanced at you once again to see you looking at your lap trying to hide the smile forming on your pretty lips.
This week heâs finally going to make you his.
â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・
Your poor heart was about to pound out of your chest. Leon had taken your mother to the airport three and a half hours ago for her flight, and all you could do was pace around Leonâs home. What was taking him so long to come back? Chalking it up to airports being a pain you continued pacing. Knowing you and Leon would be alone for the week made the feeling of anxiety coursing through your veins increase.
You tried your best to look nice, taking the time to make your hair look pretty and putting on more makeup than usual now that your mother couldnât tell you to wipe it off. Rebelling even more, you put on a cute sundress that would send your parents into cardiac arrest if they were here to see you wearing it.
It really did feel nice to doll yourself up.
Finally, when you finished and looked at the large mirror in the hallway to admire your work, it hit you. You were doing all this for your own mother's husband. You did this to impress your stepfather. What the hell is the matter with you? This is wrong, and dirty, and nasty. Even if he wasnât tied to your mother why would ever want a puny girl like you?
Damn it, you shouldâve just spent the week with your father and stepmother, even if youâd be miserable. Youâd probably just be a nuisance to Leon anyway; heâll probably just spend the week avoiding you. God, why didnât you just bite the bullet and go to your father's? You shouldâve never agreed to stay the week, it was doomed from the start.
Being so drowned in your thoughts you only heard the door being unlocked when it was too lateâŚ
CRAP
âHey doll, Iâm back from the airport!â
The door is about 1/4 open.
CRAP CRAP CRAP
What can you do? Running to your room wonât work; the staircase is directly in front of the door. Hiding isnât worth the risk of getting caught and looking more stupid than you already do. You donât know the house well enough, so if there is a blind spot where you can sneak off to so you can quickly get changed, you definitely donât know it.
Too late.
Leon is now standing two and a half feet in front of you.
Nervously smoothing the bottom of your dress, all you could do was look down at his shoes as his eyes practically burned holes into you.
âWow. You look very nice today.â
You felt your face get hot as embarrassment washed over you. Is he mocking you? His voice didnât sound mocking but you never know. Even if he is you canât just stand there like an idiot!!! Say something, anything!!!
âThanks, Mr. Kennedy.â
You mentally slap yourself.
Was THAT really the best you could do??? At least you didnât stutter. Raising your head, you finally meet his eyes and see how sincere they are.
âIâve told you hundreds of times to call me Leon sweetheart.â
He wonât admit it out loud to you yet, but he secretly loves your formality. He gets a little rush every time you call him âMr. Kennedyâ and âsirâ. His wife raised such a polite young woman, he canât wait to see what else he can get you to call him.
âAre you hungry doll? Iâll order or make you whatever you want.â He has his very big hand on your shoulder rubbing soothing circles on your skin and you feel electricity all throughout your body.
âIâm okay right now Mr. Kenn- Leon. But thank you for offering.â He moves his hand to rub your shoulder and you want the moment to linger as long as possible.
âOkay doll, Iâm gonna go take a quick shower.â His very big hand leaves all too soon, âAfter Iâm done Iâll meet you in the game room so we can do something fun tonight, you okay spending some time with me sweetheart?â
You felt a jolt of excitement at his offer, âOkay, Iâll be waiting there for you!â
With one last smile to one another you both head your separate ways.
You felt so happy that Leon wanted to spend his time with you instead of just going out or staying in his room to avoid you, you knew it was wrong to want his attention but you just couldnât help it. He was the one who offered, and you were raised to always be polite and accept invitations, your parents only had themselves to blame. Why should you care about her feelings when sheâs never cared about yours? After all it was your motherâs choice to leave her husband all alone so she could have her fun, so why shouldnât you indulge yourself and have your own fun too?
During your epiphany, Leon was in the shower stroking his cock, thinking of you standing there in your pretty little dress, looking more vulnerable than a deer in headlights. It took everything in him not to push you to the floor and stuff your tiny pussy full of his big cock. He wondered if you had your regular Sanrio cotton panties or your lingerie on underneath?
He imagined your little whines and whimpers, saying how heâs too big and wonât fit so he only fucks you with half his length until he can stretch you out more, how sexy you would look riding him. Thinking of how youâd shyly guide his hand to wrap around your neck as he fucks you into oblivion.
Did you even know the effect you had on him? he thought of you every second of the day. he saw your angelic face everytime he closed his eyes, had constant dreams of you. He thought of how much happier heâd be if you had been his bride instead of your mother. Hell youâd probably faint from embarrassment if you knew even a sliver of his fantasies about you.
Wrapping a towel around his waist Leon couldnât help but smirk as he thinks of all the things he would be doing to his precious stepdaughter tonight.
â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・â â Ë・
Sitting cross-legged on the floor, trying to shuffle a deck of cards, the TV played an Impractical Jokers re-run softly in the background as Leon finally came downstairs.
Swallowing the lump in your throat, secretly admire how good he looked. He wore gray sweatpants and a long-sleeve shirt that clung to him deliciously tight, showing off his muscles beautifully. Having felt self-conscious in your dress and the sun having set, you changed into your sleep shirt and shorts while Leon was gone, and he loved it. Your thin pajamas hugged your figure so well that he had to look away before his cock hardened.
Now all he had to do was execute his plan. First heâd put in a scary movie (a classic way to get a girl to cling onto her beau), gain your trust, and finally heâd fuck the shit out of you.
âHey doll, thanks for holding up,â Reaching over to turn off the lamp, he cheekily smiles at you âWhat do you say we watch a movie? I know a good scary one I think youâd like.â
Nervousness crept into you as you toyed with your shorts, âOh Iâve never really seen a horror movie before, my parents have never let me⌠but I want to watch it though!â
âA night of firstsâ Leon thought. âIâll put it on, itâs an older movie but itâs a classic. Why donât you come up here and sit next to me sweetheart?â He patted the spot next to him on the sofa, âDonât want you to be all by yourself down there.â
Shyly, you got up, Leon gently grabbed your hand and sat you next to him. You hadnât been this close to him since he bought you those gifts a couple weeks ago; you nearly forgot how he was even more handsome up close and personal. Picking at your fingernails, you waited anxiously as the movie began. Putting his arm around your shoulder, he somehow made you get even closer to him, his cologne and shampoo invading your senses. Rubbing his hand up and down your arm, he could feel the goosebumps forming on your soft skin.
25 minutes had passed, and you had practically molded yourself into his side. The movie was scary, of course, but you couldnât blame snuggling into Leon on just being scared. You knew exactly what you were doing, and as long as Leon was okay with it, youâd keep doing it. This was your only opportunity to get a taste of what it was like to be with him, and goddamn, you were going to take it.
When a jump scare happened you let out a small scream and hid your face in his neck, clinging to him tightly. The cogs turned in Leonâs brain; everything was going according to plan.
Sliding his arm down to your waist he held your head with his other hand, âYou scared baby?â
Your heart beat faster at the pet name, âA little bitâŚâ
âYou shouldnât be sweetheart,â He caresses your face. âIâm right here to protect you.â
His breath was fanning your face; you were so close to him that you could see every beautiful, unique detail that marked his skin.
The lump suddenly comes back to your throat.
âYouâre so angelic,â he tugs you even closer than you were before, âlook just like a doll.â
Blush spreads across your face, kissing the palm of Leonâs big hand you sheepishly put one hand on his chest and the other on one of his big arms, tracing gentle circles with your small fingers. âDo you really mean that Leon?â
âCourse I mean it baby,â placing you on his lap, he made sure to position you so youâd feel his hard cock under your cunt, âmost beautiful girl Iâve ever seen.â
A tiny smirk appeared on your lips, âMore beautiful than my mother?â
His cock was pulsing hearing that come from your pouty lips.
âEspecially more beautiful than her,â you began pressing tiny kisses to his jaw, âcan see the envy in her eyes every time she looks at you.â
And with that he dove in and kissed you. It felt electrifying as he slipped his tongue into your hot mouth, pressing it as deep as he can go. You whined when he pulled away, quickly giving him a small peck.
"Fuck, doll face" he sighs, scattering gentle pecks on your neck, âYou like how I kiss you, hm?" his big hands wander down to your ass, giving it a firm squeeze and making you moan.
"A-ah, Leon," you whimper, his hands not leaving your ass. Leon just smirks and pulls your body closer to him. He leans down to kiss your lips once more, but it was rougher. He wraps his arm around your body, tugging you firmer, while his other hand cups your cheek. Leonâs in control of the kiss, you just try your best to keep up with him. You whined once again when he pulled away, a string of saliva connecting you both together.
âYou finally got a real kiss, and now you canât get enough, can you, dirty girl?â He wiped the spit from your lips with his finger, placing it in his mouth to taste both your mixtures. Your cheeks were flushed red from how turned on you are for him.
âLetâs continue this in the bedroom nasty girl,â picking you up bridal style he carried you up the stairs,âgonna need more room to do what I want to you.â
Making a beeline for your bedroom, upon entry giving you a chaste kiss before guiding you to stand between his legs.
âBe a good girl and take my cock out.â
You just nodded your head, obeying him immediately. You'd done some research, so you weren't as naĂŻve as you had been before, and you were hoping he'd give you the chance to show him what you learned. Leon began removing his shirt as you began to scoot down, by the look of an evident bulge, you could tell his cock was gonna be big. Leon watches you with hazy eyes, petting your hair softly.
You felt your heart rate go faster from the thought of seeing his cock right in front of your face. Quickly tugging his sweatpants and boxers down his hard cock slaps against his stomach and bobs forward, the thick tip smearing your cheek with his precum.
Leon reaches for your face to wipe it off but you grab his wrist and lower it. Your mouth is watering. Heâs so thick and long, how was he supposed to fit in your mouth let alone your pussy?
With no plan at all, you leaned forward and enveloped the head of his cock between your pretty lips. He hissed at the sudden contact, your tongue tasting his precum beading at the tip. It was a little salty, but hearing Leonâs deep groan of pleasure, youâd learn to love the taste.
You released his length for a moment with a pop and spat on him, watching your saliva trickle down his heavy cock. Taking your small hand you pumped it up and down, spreading your spit all around his fat cock.
âHoly shit! Where the hell did you learn to do that, doll?â
You blushed, letting out a small giggle, and licked his tip, âWatched a porno, wanted to learn how before I did it to you.â
Opening your mouth to slip his cock back in before he could respond, you tried to take as much of him as you could. He moaned, eyes fluttering closed as you eagerly began to suck his cock. His grip in your hair tightened and the tinge of pain had you gushing into your panties. You whimpered around him, clenching your thighs together to help ease the pressure between your legs.
He let you suck on him, lathering his member in your spit until you reached the point where you couldn't handle anymore of his cock in your mouth.
"C'mon angel, try to take more of daddy in that slutty throat," He growled, you choked but did your best to relax your throat to allow him to fuck your mouth. Your panties were soaked and sticking to you, having your handsome stepfather use your throat as he pleased was a turn on.
"Look at that. Bad little girl aren't you? You're my bad, naughty girl." Leon mocks, watching tears drip down your cheeks.
You sucked him off like your life depended on it, slurping and moaning around his big cock. Using your hand on what your mouth couldnât reach to try and make him cum.
"Fuck my love, you're doing so damn good. Sucking your Daddy's cock so good." he moans, hand still gripping your hair, encouraging you to take him deeper once again. The gagging sent shivers down his spine.
Saliva continuously dripped down your chin, "So messy for your daddy, my baby" he suddenly pulled out, leaving you a panting mess before him.
Lifting you in his arms he tenderly kissed your forehead, "Did such a good job sucking me off angel, always knew you were secretly a whore. Love how sloppy you are, canât wait to teach you how to deep-throat me."
Your body shivers from how deep and alluring his voice sounded, âAnything for you.â you practically moan, quickly you pressed a kiss to Leonâs nose and tried to wriggle out of his arms.
Confused Leon gently put you down, sat back on your bed, and waited to see what you were going to do. âKeep pumping your cock!â You quickly went over to your dresser and grabbed the Polaroid camera he got you. He almost had a heart attack hearing what came out of your mouth.
âI want you to cum on my face and take a photo of it. Is that okay with you?â
Leon practically snatched the camera from you, âShit doll, didnât know you were this nasty. Hurry up and suck me off so I can fuck you after this.â he quickly pushed you to your knees.
He shoved your head on his cock, becoming impatient. He just wanted to feel your tight mouth on him again. His free hand tangled in your hair once more as he started to push himself further in your mouth. Your eyes instantly teary as he reached your gag-reflex, making your throat burn. Looking down at your pretty face made his self-control snap and he lifted his hips up, forcing his whole cock down your throat. Two more thrusts and he pulled out, his hot cum spurting all over your face.
Snapping two photos on the camera he placed the three items on the floor and lifted you up on the bed, "Open that pretty mouth again for me, my love." You instantly do what he tells you, allowing him to spit in your mouth and without being told to, you swallow happily.
Gathering his cum on your fingers you happily lick them clean, âIâll be right back, Iâm just gonna go wash my face real quick!â and Leon waits patiently, stewing in anticipation.
Re-entering your room Leon saw that you ditched your pajamas and now only wore the lingerie he found in your room just days ago.
You truly are the most beautiful girl heâs ever seen.
"Câmere baby girl, come here." Leon coos and pulls your body close to him. You straddle his lap, feeling his cock beneath your folds. He wraps his strong arms around you, his face inches from yours. He clutches your throat with one hand, squeezing it.
He presses a sloppy kiss to your swollen lips, "Ready for me to finally fuck you, my baby?â
You nod your head the best you can. "Please, want it so bad daddy"
"You think you can take my cock?"
You hate how flustered he can make you. You only nod and lean in for another kiss, letting Leon take control of it once again.
âI can take it. Promise I can.â
âOkay doll,â he nips at your jaw, âjust gotta prep you first.â
Prep?
Every coherent thought leaves your mind as you watch him unclip your bra, exposing you to him. Before you can cover yourself, Leon snatches your wrist with his hand and shoots you a warning look before kissing and sucking at your sensitive breasts. Holding onto him as he laid you on your back, you waited to see his next move.
His hand cups your panty-clad cunt and you jolt, panicking at the sensation your legs closed on instinct, Leon growled, "Open your fucking legs or Iâll leave right now..."
You whimpered, startled by Leonâs tone as he pushed them back open. Leon smiled, pecking your lips quickly, "Be a good girl, doll..."
Feeling you up, he stroked your clothed pussy with his fingers softly. Your little hand reached for his free one, putting his pointer and middle finger to your lips you began to suck on them. He pressed his fingers harder on your cunt, specifically on your cute little clit making you moan around his digits.
"You feel good, angel?" Leon asked softly as you nodded, feeling relaxed you kept your legs open no longer needing Leon to help keep them spread. But Leon was going too slow and you were starting to get frustrated.
"M-more..." You quietly begged him, making him chuckle darkly. Leon could see your hips thrusting up harder into his hand, wanting more friction as you became more desperate.
"Such a cute doll, aren't you?" Dazed, eyes barely open, mouth slightly gaped, a little drool from when you sucked his fingers in the corners of your sweet mouth. âShe looks so fuckable.â
He was tempted to just shove his fat cock inside your tight virgin cunt and make you take it, no matter how much it hurt, and he would have if it was anyone else. But you arenât just anyone; you're his stepdaughter, his precious baby who deserves to have her pussy fingered and eaten out, so he pushes the thought out of his mind.
Leon just wants to fuck you stupid, "Let's get these off you..." Taking a look at your cunt, he noticed your panties had a wet spot on them that seemed to be getting bigger.
"Look at that, baby... So wet..." His fingers touched the wet patch, feeling the stickiness on his fingertips, he bent down, "Fuck, you smell so good my love..."
Leon took off your ruined panties and he could feel the hunger devour him right then and there. Saliva gathered in his mouth, a voice in his head telling him to just dive in and eat your little cunt like it was the last thing he'll ever have.
So he listened.
Leon dove in without a warning, his tongue collecting the juices that seep out of your cunt as you screamed, "L-Leon!!!"
"So sweet. Taste so fucking sweet..." He growled as he sucked the puffy little nub in between his lips, softly biting it and making you thrash underneath him, arching your back as you called out his name, "You're just a little skank, aren't you?"
"N-not a skank, Leon! Feels... Feels w-weird..." you whimper and grab onto his hair, Leon didn't stop sucking, licking, he gave his all as you felt tears starting to form in the corner of your eyes.
"Just a dumb fucking bitch. Nasty little slut that loves how her stepfather plays with her pussy." He collected his saliva inside his mouth and spits on your cunt, making you more of a mess as his fingers roam your entrance.
Without a warning his fingers start ramming inside youâmoving them rapidly up and down, hitting the spots you didn't even know existed. You couldnât think straight, not when he spat on your cunt and made you know how good it felt to have your pussy doted on. You were crying, wanting him to slow down but despite it hurting, you still wanted more.
He moved his tongue and fingers in sync, rubbing your swollen clit at a fast pace trying to get his good girl to cum as fast as he can and repeat the process over and over again. Leon wanted to make the bed drenched with your cum.
Leon could feel your walls clenching on his fingers, restraining his movements he knew you were close. Then he went harder and harder, pressing down on the puffy nub as you screamed, the tears on your face evident.
"You gonna cum, aren't you, babydoll? Are you gonna be a good girl for me? You deserve this so much, baby. Watched you for so long, been dreaming of this day since I met you" He slaps you across your face, savoring the moment, "That's right, doll... Let the whole neighborhood know how good I'm making you feel. Show daddy know how much of a whore you are."
Leonâs right, you really are a slut.
Stars clouded your vision. The knot in your stomach made you feel like you were going to pee, feeling it coiling in your belly, it grows bigger and bigger.
Suddenly something so unexpected happens that shocked you both. Leon can feel the gush of stream hitting him as you twitch in his grasp, moaning so loud he knows the neighbors will hear it. The clear stream of liquid told its tale and Leon knows exactly what it is.
"L-Leon!" your thighs shook frantically as you cried, he could only smirk seeing you squirt all over his hands and mouth.
"Good fucking girl," he gives a few gentle slaps to your aching pussy "Gonna make you my own personal porn star, doll face. Bet youâd fuckinâ love that."
You just stare at him with heart eyes. Grabbing the back of his head to make him lean down, you licked from his chin back up to his lips so you could taste yourself.
Leaning back he kisses your forehead, âItâs going to hurt a little more cause you have such a tight cunt, but Iâll go slow. I promise,â he says with furrowed brows.
You loop your arms around his neck, and nod, hoping that the he can see the adoration you feel for him in your eyes. Leon nods back stiffly as his eyes flit to your lips before kissing you hard, once again. Though this time, while his lips are on yours, one of his hands reaches between you both, gripping the base of his cock. He rubs it between your folds, the tip brushing against your clit making you moan, high pitched and sweet into his mouth.Â
You brace yourself for the stretch of his big cock. When he finally bottoms out, you gasp, your nails digging into his shoulders where your hands were rested. He hisses, and your brows furrow with worry when you feel the tiny pricks of blood oozing out.
âIâm sorry,â you panic, tears prickling your eyes from both the pain of your hymen breaking and the fear of hurting him. âAre you mad? Are you okay? I didnât mean to hurt you, Iâm so sorry,â you softly cry.
Here Leon is, balls deep in the wettest, tightest pussy heâs ever had, and youâre asking him if heâs mad at you. As if a few little fingernail scratches could actually hurt him. He laughs a little, trying not to move before youâve adjusted to him being inside of you. âYou could punch me in the face and Iâd still adore you. Iâm fine,â he says as he pecks your nose.
To make you forget about it he leans forward and groans, wrapping a hand around your throat as he starts slowly fucking you. "Thatâs my good girl," he chuckles, hearing his balls slap against you, "taking this huge dick like a whore."
"Yes, yes, r-right there daddy! Hurts so good!" his words were made you blush red, turned on from the way he was spoke to you. You love it â you love surrendering yourself to him, letting him do whatever he wants with your body, loved to let him use you like a sex toy.
"Yeah? My little bitch loves how I fuck her hard with my cock?" You don't even need to answer because he can feel it. He sees his cock protruding against your stomach, your pussy too little to accommodate his big dick.
The hand that was once wrapped around your neck moves up to your face as he forces two fingers inside your wet mouth.
Your eyes roll back, choking as he went past your gag reflex.
"Itâs s-so big," you mumble around his digits, your saliva coating his fingers as you swirled your tongue around them. âLove it so much,â
"Dick too big to fit inside this little cunt. such a little baby Iâve got here." He gives a light slap to your puffy clit, âCan see it moving in your stomach, babydoll. My cock is the only one you need. Know it hurts but youâre gonna take it like a big girl, yeah?â
You quickly reply, pussy clenching, "Yes, just p-please donât stop," you say through his fingers, batting your eyelashes.
His lips curve up in a smile, loving how cute you said that, "Mhm, 'course you love it. My little cum-slut can't get enough of her stepdads big cock."
You two were a hot, moaning messes. Looking up at him pathetically Leonâs cock throbs at the sight of you all used, your face flushed. "Want to cum, sweet girl?"
Wanton moans filled the room as you nodded your head.
âOnly way Iâll let you is if you tell me what I want to hear," he squishes your cheeks together, âWanna hear you say that this is your daddyâs pussy and that you belong to him and him only. Say it and Iâll make you cum, babydoll.â
Your cunt squeezes him tightly, you love how he only wants you for himself.
âM-my pussy is daddyâs, and I o-only belong to him!â
He slaps your cheek harder than he did before and soothes you with a sloppy kiss.
His thrusts gets rougher, pounding right into your sweet spot before he sends you to a hard, body-shaking climax. Your vision blurs, seeing stars as your pussy squirts your cum onto his dick. "There we go, baby. Cum on daddyâs cock â fucking little minx!."
You only have the energy to moan, brain dead at the staggering orgasm.
He comes undone right after, hot strings of cum coating your tight walls. Pulling out, he groans when he sees both of your mixed cum oozing out of your cunt and onto your comforter.
Leaning down he places his long fingers in your messy pussy, shoving his cum back inside.
"Câmere, my love," he plants his hands on your stomach and lays you on his chest, kissing your hairline.
You both lay still for a couple minutes, catching your breath. You listen to his heartbeat come back to a steady pace as he rubs your back and shoulders up and down, kissing your head every once in a while.
âDid I hurt you, sweetheart?â Leon says breaking the comfortable silence.
Nuzzling further in his chest you hold him tighter, âMâfine Leon, just sore.â
You hear his heartbeat quicken again.
âDid such a good job baby, thank you for letting me do this to you.â He tugs your head back, pressing a long kiss to your swollen lips.
You feel your heart stop as he moves you and gets up from your bed. You grab his hand and he lets out a small laugh, giving it a kiss, âMânot going anywhere doll, just gonna put my pants back on and get you some clean panties.â
A small smile spreads across your face, relieved he wasnât leaving you all alone. When he comes back he holds you as tight as he can without suffocating you.
Holding his jaw, he can barely hear you whisper a scared âThought you were gonna abandon me.â
Youâd never have to worry about him leaving you.
âWouldnât dream of it doll faceâ he squeezes your throat, âIâm never letting you go, whether you like it or not...â

pancakes & promises {finnick odair}
ok i donât normally write for the hunger games but here is some morning fluff for 2 of my faves, @karasongâ & @megmeg-chanâ (based on megâs request). i hope you enjoyđ
warnings: none...except swearingÂ
The mornings were always one of Finnickâs favourite times.
Things were quiet; calm and quell, worlds away from his hectic past and tainted memories. Finnick was never without a charming smile or flirty comment but behind his endearing exterior, there was a vortex of dark memories. The warm blue eyes you often caught staring at you had seen worlds of pain. The large hands that were the source of half his affection had once wielded weapons. Heâd become so used to the noise - of the arena, of the war, of his own thoughts - that the silence was almost strange. Heâd spent years trying to escape it, trying to fill it with the sound of gentle music and white noise and the low fuzz of the radio but nothing had worked.Â
Then there was you. Between his arms underneath cover of the darks, head buried in his neck as you gently snored. The tickle of your breath against his bare skin and hands softly gripping onto his arms was an anchor. With your legs tangled underneath the sheets with his and your warmth beside him, he wasnât afraid of the silence anymore. If anything, it was something he began to appreciate. It was a sign of change - change for the better. Most of which had been brought on your presence in his life. You were a barrier to the past, really. A definitive and constant existence intertwined with his that protected him from the bad parts of history. It was contained nicely in two parts: before you and after you. It was the latter he was so desperately holding onto, more than willing to throw the other into the abyss.Â
Finnick had woken that morning as usual; naturally, thanks to the sunlight leaking through the blinds. If you werenât wrapped up in his arms, usually thanks to your tendency to roll away in the night, heâd reach out for you without thinking. Instead of being met with your warm skin, his fingers came into contact with the sheets. They were cold - you must have been gone a while. He immediately sat up, a frown etched on his features. You were never gone. Why were you gone?
Then he heard you - in the kitchen, kettle going and singing quietly. That was another thing he wasnât used to: domesticity. Someone to look after him, instead of it constantly being the other way around. Finnick made a point to care for you and look out for you, and he would have done it even if youâd completely denied him of love, but you didnât. It was a relationship of equals. And equals didnât often come along in these times.
Wrapping the sheet around his waist, he slipped out of bed and padded through to the kitchen. You were stood by the cooker, his shirt hanging off of your shoulders and a song playing quietly on the radio.Â
It was one of those moments he couldnât really explain; it was so simple, so domestic and sweet, but one he was happy to stay in forever. Heâd experienced everything else in life - moments of heroic grandeur, moments of great loss - but somehow, it was the little things he wanted to hold onto. The sight of you in the morning; the smell of your body wash on your skin after a shower; the feeling of your soft hands tracing the scars that littered his skin. It was normal to remember all the big flashpoint moments, but what about all the tiny ones in between? The things that interconnected all the different eras of his life? Ones like this, where nothing in particular was happening, but that were so worth holding onto.
He leant against the door frame, watching you for a moment. Finnick didnât want to disturb you - or maybe he wanted to savour the moment. He woke up to you every morning but he wanted to remember each and individual single day. That was something heâd come to learn, having been reminded of his mortality so many times. Heâd be damned if he was going to hold onto the moments that made him stare death in the face and tell it to back the fuck down so many times.Â
The floor-boards beneath creaked slightly as he re-adjusted himself, causing you to jump slightly. You glanced over your shoulder at him, a smile playing on your lips as your eyes caught his. The morning sun was coming from through the kitchen window, pouring over you in a way that you made you seem almost other worldy. It was fitting, really.
âGâmorning.â You greeted him through a mouthful of pancakes. âI made pancakes. Or I tried to make pancakes.â
His eyes followed your hand as you gestured up to the ceiling. There two or three half cooked pancakes stuck up there, clearly hanging on with all their might.Â
âWhatâs with the splatters on the wall?â Finnick raised an eyebrow at you.
âOh, those ones hit the ceiling fan.â You bit your lip to suppress a laugh, eyes falling to the floor. You could feel your cheeks heating up his intense gaze, even as a grin broke across his face.Â
âYou never cook.â Finnick said. He made his way over towards you, broad arms snaking around your waist as he pulled you into him. âThe oven in this house is purely for decoration.â
âI wanted to surprise you.â You admitted. âI know you love pancakes and itâs been a while since weâd had them. Thought it might be a nice thing to wake up to.â
He could have sworn that his heart stopped at that. Finnick had spent so much of his life running from people, watching his own back and constantly looking over his shoulder. To have someone to actually do things for him, to (try and) cook for him with his favourite food in mind? The feeling was still entirely new to him. You were still entirely new to him. You did things for him without even thinking about just...because. Your love for him was reason enough.Â
A silence fell over you for a moment as he just stared at you, intense blue gaze holding your own. He still couldnât believe that you were real, even with your hands resting on his shoulders and your presence right before his eyes. The funny thing was that it wasnât like the moment was particularly special, or big, or even interesting. It was just you and him in the kitchen, something which was quite mundane, truth be told. But maybe that was it: the fact it was mundane. His entire life had been so fucking crazy, so filled with panic and blunder and change, that to have something constant enough to even be considered mundane? That in itself was extraordinary. You were extraordinary.Â
âHey.â You gently brushed your hand over his cheek. âYouâre staring.â
âYeah, I know. At you.â He replied.
âOkay, maybe let me rephrase that.â You softly laughed. âWhy are you staring?â
âI just...â he trailed off, biting his lip for a moment. âI just really love you.â
âI love you too, Fin.â You leant forwards, brushing your lips against his.Â
Finnick was a good kisser; you knew that better than anyone. Somehow, every kiss felt like your first. His lips were always soft, always warm and welcoming. That, paired with his hands on your hips and the way he ran them up and down your sides, was enough to make you forget the entire world around you. He was enough to make you forget the entire world around you. As far as you cared - and as far as you wanted to care - it was just you and him, and nobody else. You were the center of his universe and he wasnât willing to let anybody else in.
âOh, shit.â You suddenly pulled away when the pancake on the stove started to spit smoke. âThis one was gonna be good! And you distracted me!â
âDarling, I always distract you.â His cocky grin returned as he leant against the counter beside you.Â
âYou were being so soft a minute ago.â You quipped, jokingly rolling your eyes.Â
âI can be both.â He grabbed your arm, yanking you back towards him. He wrapped his arms around your waist,Â
âI liked it when you were confessing your love for me.â You softly murmured, pressing your forehead to his.
âWant me to do it again?â
âI certainly wonât complain.â
âOkay.â His grin faded to a thoughtful smile. âI love you so much that itâs almost overwhelming. In fact, it might be completely overwhelming but I donât even mind.â
âThatâs better.â You pressed another kiss to his lips. âAnd I love you too, so much that it is also almost overwhelming.â
âAlmost?â Finnick quipped. âIâd argue Iâm entirely overwhelming-â
â- I also fell in love with your humbleness.â You shot back.Â
âI will accept your declaration of almost overwhelming love so long as you promise itâs forever.â He replied. He knew how cheesy he was being, but it was one of the things he was good at.
âOf course.â You grinned. âForever?â
âForever.âÂ

      ALWAYS YOU
summary || when steve is tasked to return to the stones, youâre not so sure if heâs going to stay, or return to the woman that first captured his heart â peggy carter
pairings || steve rogers x reader
warnings || little bit of angst, swearing
âbabeee! come back to bed!â
you whined slightly as the bed dipped and the cold air hit your body as steve got up from the bed.
it was currently three oâclock in the morning, and you were pouting at your boyfriend of six years, wondering why he was up so early.
âgo back to bed, sweetheart,â he tried to coax you back into sleep but you refused.
sitting up, you moved your body to where you were seated right next to him and frowned as you took in his exhausted and worn out face.
âsteve? steve baby whatâs wrong?â you suddenly dropped your pout and began to get worried instead.
steve sighed.
he wanted to tell you â but he didnât want you to worry. most of all, he didnât want you to know what was running through his mind, the reason why he couldnât sleep.
he was thinking of something that would be sure to break your heart. and steve was positive that if he voiced them youâd be heartbroken, but he could never lie to you.
âi was ⌠i couldnât sleep,â he started, confessing even though he didnât want to. âi had a lot of stuff on my mind.â
âis this about the stones?â you noticed his anxious face and wondered if Steve was worried about his mission tomorrow morning.
he nodded.
âi just ⌠i just keep thinking about them,â he said. you gently rubbed his back. âand i canât get over the fact that iâm gonna have to go back in time to return them.â
âwell, whatâs a little time travel if youâre saving the universe honey?â you tried to smile at him but steve didnât return it. he looked at you.
âiâm gonna have to go back and see her, eventually, y/n,â he said bluntly, causing your smile to fade. âand i donât know what iâm gonna do.â
your heart panged a little and you stopped rubbing his back.
of course.
of fucking course!
you nearly scoffed at steve.
of course that was what this would be about. of course she would be the one that was keeping steve up at night, preventing him from enjoying his last moments with you.
it had seemed that no matter what steve did, peggy carter seemed to always weasel her way into his thought and you hated it.
you had accepted a long time ago the fact that steve would never be quite over her. you had accepted that there would be always be some part of him that loved her, and though it hurt you came to peace with it.
you had to, because there was no getting rid of that part of steve. peggy would always be there and the only thing you could hope for the last six years was that your presence was enough to drown her out of his mind.
it wasnât.
after all that time it still wasnât enough and steve watched you with a guilty look as you hung your head and shifted away from him.
âoh.â
there was a sadness in your voice that made him frown. he hated to see you upset and he knew that was exactly what he had done.
ây/n i just ⌠i didnât mean to think about her,â He tried to reach out and put his hand on your thigh but you moved away.
âyou never seem to mean it steve,â you said sadly, âbut yet somehow you always do.â
with a frown, you moved from beside him and laid back in bed. your back facing his figure.
ây/nâŚâ steve sighed.
you shut your eyes.
âi donât wanna talk about it,â you muttered to him. ânot tonight.â
tonight was supposed to be about just you and him, getting to spend just a few more moments together before he branched out on a mission that would take him god knows how long.
all you wanted tonight was to hold him just one more time, but while his body was wrapped around yours his mind was somewhere else.
ây/n, please,â steve laid back down and gently touched your shoulder. âiâm sorry. i never meant to upset you,â he said.
you took a deep breath. with your eyes still closed, you kept your back still turned on him but slowly you asked,
âsteve, be honest with me.â
it took everything in your power not to cry.
steve leaned forward.
âwhat is it sweetheart?â he asked, and you clenched your fists.
âwhen you go back in time tomorrow âŚ,â your heart squeezed, âpromise me youâll be back darling? promise me that ⌠promise me that youâll come back to me, that youâll come back to be with me. promise me that you wonât stay.â
you held your breath and waited for the answer.
time slowed down. steve took in a deep breath. and you waited for his answer, you waited with your eyes still closed and your fists still clenched.
you waited, and then waited some more ⌠but you never got your answer from steve.
and so you knew.
-
when you woke up from your sleep that morning, you woke up to an empty bed and a broken heart.
you had gone to sleep knowing steveâs answer and you had unfortunately woken up knowing it, too.
six years, you nearly scoffed again, six years and it still was nothing compared to what he felt for her.
nothing.
your heart clenched again and for moment you had to steady yourself from the waves of pain.
you couldnât believe it. you couldnât believe that your wrost nightmares had actually come true, that steve rogers had actually left you, and he didnât even bother to say goodbye.
you stifled a sob.
by the time you had gotten out of bed and gotten dressed for the day, your hopes that steve would have woken you up in time for him to say goodbye for his mission had diminished.
you knew he was gone, from the silence that echoed throughout tonyâs lake house and from the solemn looks on bucky and samâs faces when you met them out in the yard by the machine that steve was supposed to go through.
âheâs gone, y/n,â banner gave you an awkward frown and motioned to the machine. âhe left like fifteen seconds ago.â
âfifteen?â your voice echoed with worry. âbut didnât you sayâŚâ
âhe was supposed to come back in ten,â sam hung his head and shook it.
bucky gave you sad smile and you couldnât keep the tears away.
âwhere is he, then? where is banner?â you found yourself asking even though you knew the answer.
âiâm not sure. weâve tried to get him back but- somethingâs wrong. either he got stuck orâŚâ
âhe just didnât come back. iâm sorry, y/n,â bucky said. you let out a sob.
âshh, shhh, itâs okay. weâll be okay,â sam himself seemed to be trying to keep his own tears at bay for the sake of you. he held you in his arms tightly and you buried your face into his shoulder as you cried.
âthis canât be the end, sam. this canât be it,â you cried and then suddenly someone was speaking behind you.
âthatâs because itâs not, sweetheart.â
the voice of steven grant rogers rung out in your ears and with a gasp you let go of sam and turned around.
there were tears blocking your vision and your eyes were slightly swollen from crying but there was no mistaken that it was him, the exact same version of steve that had left, standing right in front of you.
âoh my god! steve youâre back!â
ârogers, youâre back!â
there was no hiding your shock or anyone elseâs as you all stared at steve.
still the same, still steve, smiling at you as you took in his appearance.
âyouâre here,â you breathed out, slightly amazed and steve slowly walked over to you.
âi couldnât leave my best girl,â steve said.
âbut you were ⌠gone fifteen seconds and i...i thought...â
âyou thought i stayed,â steve said, and you nodded. he frowned.
ây/n âŚâ steve started slowly and brought his hand up to caress your cheek. âyou had to know that i would never leave you. not by fate and certainly not by choice. you had to know that i love you.â
âbut i know that you love her, too,â you told him sadly. âthatâs why i thought âŚâ
âbelieve me, i considered it,â he said, ashamed. âwhen I heard that i could go back in the past, i thought i could go back and fix all of my mistakes. i thought that i could go back and live the life that i had always wanted,â
âthen why didnât you?â you whispered. âi know youâve always wanted to go back and live a normal life.â
steve smiled at you. âbecause the more i thought about it, the more i realized that wasnât what i wanted anymore. peggy, is not what i want anymore, y/n. and while this life may be hectic, and a little bit crazy, i realized that i donât want normal, and easy, and simple anymore. i want painful, difficult, devastating, life-changing, extraordinary love. And i want that with you. donât you want that, too?â
once again, your tears were threatening to overflow and you quickly nodded, pulling steve into a tight hug that you never wanted to be released from.
âof course. of course thatâs what i want you idiot,â you sobbed into his chest and steve laid his head between your shoulders. âthatâs all iâve ever wanted because i love you.â
âi love you too,â steve smiled into your hair, and held you a little tighter. âand thatâs all iâve ever needed from you, y/n; damn anyone else. because itâs always you. and itâll always be you, my love,â he said, and pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead.

Nemesis - Part 2
Iâm so glad that you guys are enjoying this new series! Work was pretty hectic for me today, but here is the next part, albeit a little late.
For the last vote, A won out, meaning that Hero is going to attempt to a more direct approach to aiding Villain. Though, the things they see in this part may just change their mind.
CW//Shapeshifting, cartoon violence, insults, being called âworthless,â interventions, residential medical facilities, flashbacks
The blow came out of nowhere.
It was a rhetorical statement as much as it was a completely literal one. That didnât matter in the moment, however-- the fist had very much struck Hero in the back of their head, causing them to stumble forwards.
Before them, their assailant rematerialized from thin air, gasping with a smirk upon their face. They blew on their knuckles, as if blowing smoke from a firearmâs muzzle. Stupid, arrogant kid.
âCome on!â The villain taunted. âI thought you were supposed to be good.â
Hero didnât bother to transform before they leapt; they did that mid-air, curled fingers turning into canine claws before them. Said claws were aimed truly at the villain a few feet ahead, directed at their panicked expression.
Suddenly, Hero felt to be on the edge of a roof. Facing a completely different foe.
Throwing themself to the ground was not a conscious choice, but it was the action that they took.
The hero in lupine shape skidded to the ground, head spinning as it struck concrete. By the time they were back to all four paws, their opponent was long gone. In their wake, the door slammed closed.
Why did they...
No. This villain looked nothing like them. They shook their head, turning back to human form in order to begin tearing out the door.
The laboratory was a nightmare to navigate. White walls stretched far further than they had any right to, all looking terribly identical. Had it been any other situation, Hero would have found themself hopelessly lost.
But they could make a pretty good guess where their target had run off to. It was probably the hall where the shouting and banging was emanating from.
Hero skidded about a corner, forgetting momentarily that in human form they lacked dewclaws, causing them nearly to fall. They did not, however, turning the corner and stopping before they collided with the active battle.
Leader swore loudly as they failed to land a blow on the villain. However, their attacker missed in turn, putting themself in such a position that allowed Teammate to grab them from behind.
The villain yelled and struggled. Almost as if theyâd just fallen from the roof of a building, and were now screaming, fighting back against those trying to hold them down.
Hero was on a collision course with Teammate before they so much as realized it. Halfway through the movement, their body turned from human to that of a far more formidable wildcat, easily sending their friend sprawling on the white tile. In turn, the villain their friend had been restraining freed themself.
Leader was too stunned, in the moment, to react. By the time everyone in the corridor had returned to their senses, their opponent had long since dematerialized and left.
Leaving only the three Heroes in the hallway. Two heads turned to stare at the third.
Heroâs feline ears turned back a moment, an expression that was translated to flushing as they returned to human form. Teammate pried themself off the floor, brushing dust from their uniform.
âSorry.â Hero dipped their head.
âWhy the hell did you do that?â Leader snapped. In comparison to the quiet building, it sounded like a gong being struck. âWe almost had them!â
âI was, uh, trying to get them on the ground.â
âI had it handled.â Teammate commented in a far calmer tone of voice. âI donât think we have any chance of catching up to them now, though.â
âNo. Probably not. No thanks to someone.â Leader shook their head. âWe were so damn close.â
âAnd they got the medicines too.â Teammate added.
âThey what?â
âThe medicines?â
âI thought those were secured.â
âWell... They were. And then they took them.â
âOh my god, you two are stupid.â Leader hissed through gritted teeth. âHero, what happened in the other room? I thought you had them pinned.â
âThey got away.â
âYou two are so stupid. I asked for a team, and this is what I get... Worthless. Well, itâs a lost cause, now. Letâs get back to the car.â
Hero and Teammate hung their heads, but werenât about to argue. They began their walk out of the building in silence, a silence that continued until they had traversed a few flights of stairs. That was when Leader spoke up, once again, some of the most acute venom seeming to have left their voice.
âHero... You seem nervous.â
âIâm not.â
âI know you can fight better than what I just saw. I want to know why.â
âI guess... I guess Iâm not sure.â
âAre you feeling alright?â
âYes.â
âAre you sure?â
No. Of course they werenât sure, because it was a lie. The night prior, after their diner meeting with Hacker, they had not succeeded in getting a single second of sleep. Now, they felt like their legs-- however many they happened to have at the moment-- were made of jello.
âIâm sure. I just need some sleep.â
âAnd then youâll be back to normal?â
âYes.â
âGood. I need my best fighter back in shape. Villains donât catch themselves, yâknow.â
Except, sometimes, they did. Sometimes they tripped, right off the edge of a roof. And, sometimes, their fall haunted the dreams of the hero who had caused it.
âââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââÂ
The dorms at HQ were a lot of things. They were cramped, and cluttered, and the thermostats never seemed to work quite right. All of that, though, was normal. A life spent living in apartments and dorms had gotten Hero plenty used to making themself comfortable in small quarters.
The bad thing about them was that, living in an enclosed space with the same people for years on end, it became just about impossible to pretend they werenât home when someone knocked on the door.
That didnât mean they didnât try every single time, however.
Hero nestled themself further under the blankets that covered them, burying their head beneath their pillow in an attempt to block out the incessant knocking. Eventually, they gave up, shouting back:
âHero isnât home. You canât come in.â
âIf Hero isnât home how are they talking to me?â Came Teammateâs joking cadence.
âThis is a recording. Please come back later or not at all.â
âWell, can I at least come in and talk to a recording of Hero?â
âFine.â
Hero rolled over, staring at the ceiling a moment before getting off the bed to let their friend inside. They were smiling, which was automatically a red flag.
Teammate found themself a seat on the couch shoved into the corner of the dorm, while Hero returned to their bed, collapsing dramatically onto their back.
âI have a feeling that you know why Iâm here.â Teammate started, in that weird voice they used when trying to calm down a civilian.
âWhat are you, my therapist?â
âNo. But I am worried about you.â
âI told Leader already. Iâm just tired.â
âIs that why you tackled me out of nowhere?â
âI was trying to tackle the villain.â
âWhile I was already holding them?â
âCan you just drop it? Iâm fine. I just need to go to bed early tonight.â
âitâs not just today, though. Youâve been acting weird all week. Maybe longer.â
âHave not.â
âWhen you froze up on that roof?â
âNope.â
âWhen you pretended to be sick so you didnât have to go to that ceremony at the university?â
âHad a cold.â
âWhen you just let a villain punch you in the face?â
âI- Why do you have to be right all the time?â
âNot all the time. But I think everyone has been getting a bit worried about you. You havenât been acting yourself... We just want to help. Are you sick? You can be honest with me.â
âItâs not that. Iâm fine. Physically, Iâm fine. So I should be fine and dandy.â
Teammate nodded.
âThe anniversary.â
âYou remembered?â
âThey had it on the news. Though I have a feeling you didnât need any help remembering.â
âNo.â
âHow many days has it been, now?â
â374.â
âNine days since the anniversary of Villainâs capture. Nine days youâve been acting weird. Thatâs an awfully interesting coincidence.â
âIâm worried about them.â Hero dipped their head. âI canât- I can hardly sleep.â
âYouâre worried about Villain?â
âWell- Iâm not worried about them. Of course Iâm not worried about them, theyâre a villain. But...â
âBut?â
âItâs been over a year, and thereâs been no news. Youâd think theyâd be like, fighting back, or trying to escape, or something.â
âIs that what youâre worried about, them escaping?â
How were they supposed to escape when they couldnât even open their eyes?
âI guess so, yeah. It doesnât seem right for them to be so docile like that.â
âThe rehabbers are very good.â
âI know they are. But Villain is... theyâre the worst! When they were captured the city threw a parade! Theyâve hurt so many people. And now theyâre just gone.â
âYou think theyâre planning something?â
âI guess.â
âWell... why donât you go see them?â
âWhat?â
âItâs not like theyâre being held on some secret Alcatraz. The rehab place is just across the city. Theyâll probably let you in if you just go up and ask.â
âYou really think that would work?â
âWhy not? Villain is probably just going to like, spit on you or something, but if itâs worrying you this much, just go see them. Youâll see that theyâre under control, and then maybe you wonât tackle me anymore?â
âIâll try not to.â Hero chuckled. âYou think thatâs gonna work?â
âItâs worth a try. Besides, maybe Villain will be better, this time. Those rehabbers are crazy good at their jobs. I donât think a single villain has come out of their still being, like, evil. They have a one hundred percent success rate, as far as I know.â
Almost one hundred percent.
Almost.
âââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââÂ
This was stupid.
It was the only thing Hero could think about, sitting there in the parking lot, staring at the building with its cute little picket fence and brightly-colored exterior.
It was a stupid plan. They had spent so long the night prior, overthinking the few brief words they had exchanged with Hacker.
Villain needed to leave that place.
At the very least, they needed to... Hero didnât know what they needed. They needed to be contained, certainly. They were dangerous. Too dangerous to be free. But they at least deserved to be awake.
Did they?
Yes. Of course they did. If asked, Hero was unsure if they could truly defend their position on the matter, but they knew that Villain did not deserve to be in the state that they currently suffered. It wasnât right.
That wit. That tongue. Those sharp, intelligent eyes.
Villain did not deserve to be drowned in sedatives until they could no longer remember their own name.
It did not matter where they went. Where they were contained. So long as they were allowed to be awake. Allowed to live.
They at least deserved that much.
But... Hero had no power over such things. Every possible plan they had concocted fell apart as soon as they tried to think it through. Certainly, despite its cutesy exterior, this building was heavily guarded. Even if they did manage to get Villain out of the facility, where would they take them? Hell, as soon as they were out, Villain would probably tear their throat out!
They should have just gone right back to the HQ and forgotten the whole affair. But that image of their foe, dead to the world, would not leave their mind. It was burned into their eyelids. They saw it when they blinked.
Hero had no plan. But, they had a car, and a near complete lack of self restraint.
They had no intention of going in guns blazing. Theyâd be taken out in seconds, and would probably land in the very same facility, being ârehabilitated.â But, if they could at least get in, then that was a significant hurdle leapt.
And they had the perfect plan to achieve that step.
Heroâs hadnât even realized just how white their knuckles had grown from having gripped the steering wheel with such force for so long. Their fingers ached as they removed them from the wheel, exiting the vehicle.
For a moment, they stood there.
The only sort of barrier between the facility and the outside world was a white picket fence, only a few feet in height. A moderately athletic cat could jump it. A villain would have no difficulty.
Beyond the fence, the building looked almost like any medical clinic. Decorative windchimes hung from the awning overtop the entrance, which was little more than a pair of glass doors. There wasnât even a visible lock. From either side of the main part of the structure, wings of patient rooms stretched, their windows decorated with childish crafts made of construction paper and glue.
It looked more like a civilian hospital than something holding the cityâs most dangerous criminals.
Hero hated just how nervous they felt, opening the gate to the picket fence and approaching the front door. Their suspicions were correct-- the doors were unlocked, and a bell above them even chimed as they were opened.
The lobby beyond was small, consisting of only a single desk, at which a lab-coated person typed on a computer. As Hero entered, they looked up. Their eyes widened.
âHero?â Their mouth was almost agape. âI didnât think we were expecting a visit from you.â
âSorry about that. Itâs kind of a more... spur of the moment thing.â
âOh? How can we help you?â
Hero approached the desk, trying to hide the way their finger refused to stop twitching.
âI...â Their shoulders slumped. They werenât an actor by any means, but they had gotten plenty of practice in lying to Leader about how long they had spent in the gym. âA bit over a week ago, it was the one year anniversary of Villainâs capture.â
âWas it? Time flies, I suppose.â
âI was wondering if I could see them.â
âOh? Any particular reason?â
âIâm just a little... suspicious. I want to make sure theyâre doing alright. That they arenât planning anything.â
âHm... Well, I can understand your concern, but I assure you that Villain has been a model patient.â
âEven so... Can I see them?â
Hero could see the tips of the Labcoatâs ears growing red.
âLet me talk to the head doctor.â They stood from their desk, notably turning off their computer as they did so. âIâll be back in just a moment.â
âNo need.â
At the back of the small lobby area, a door opened, revealing a man wearing a pair of blue scrubs and a warm smile.
âIâm right here, Labcoat. Is there something you need- Oh my goodness, Hero in the flesh! For what do we get the honor?â
âUm-â
âThey want to see Villain.â
That dropped Head Doctorâs smile pretty quick.
âI see.â They nodded, nearing the desk. âWanting to visit the old nemesis, hm?â
âI just want to make sure theyâre doing alright. That they arenât... planning anything.â
Head Doctor frowned a moment, before sighing.
âIâm sorry, Hero. And to think you came all this way. But Iâm going to have to say no. You see, Villain has had a hard day, today. Usually theyâre very well-behaved, but they had some trouble today. I donât think it would be the best idea to rile them up like that, right now. Iâm terribly sorry.â
Hero put their hand in their pocket, ensuring that the doctors could not see as they balled it into a fist.
âI understand.â They nodded, trying their best not to grit their teeth. âIâm sorry to hear that.â
âItâs terribly unfortunate. If you had just come another day... But I donât want to waste your time entirely. And itâs such a terribly long drive across town.â Again, Head Doctorâs countenance was brightened by a grin. âYou wonât be able to see your nemesis today, but how about a tour? You can speak to our other patients, if you would like. Theyâre eating lunch right about now.â
A tour.
Hero could work with that.
âThat would be great. Are you sure itâs... Are you sure itâs safe? Not that Iâm worried or anything, but.â
âOf course itâs safe. Itâs always safe, here. Come on. Iâm sure everyone will be delighted to see you.â
Yeah. Delighted.
Head Doctorâs blue scrubs rippled under the bright florescents as they turned, heading back towards that door at the rear of the room. It felt almost too good to be true, but Hero wasted no time in following suit.
This door, unlike the others, was metal, and required a key to be passed through. It opened with a rather heavy creak, and clicked solidly as it closed behind Hero. They almost jumped.
If they were being quite honest, they had never really thought about where villains went after they were locked up. Like a hunting dog, they had little care where their prey ended up, only that they retrieved it. If they had to guess where their fallen foes ended up, they would have likely described a well-secured concrete building, complete with snipers and barbed wire.
Not a cute little hospital ward.
The door from the lobby opened into a wide-open, carpeted space, decorated by several sofas and a television, alongside a few well-stocked bookshelves. Beyond it, three hallways sprouted-- one to the front, and one to the left or the right.
Every door was wood.
âWe call this the commons.â Head Doctor explained with a smile. âA sort of... hang out space. And those two halls lead to the patients rooms. Not much to see there.â
In an awfully hurried manner, they lead Hero forwards, into the hallway that led straight out from the commons. It was wide, with several doors on either side. Yet, not a single window.
âThis is where me and my colleagues work, most of the the time. Itâs mostly offices for our therapists. And that one, there, is my office.â
During the whole explanation, they did not stop walking forwards. They only did so at the end of the hallway, where a door was embedded.
âUm... This is the dining hall, just past this door. Everyone is eating lunch right now. I assure you that itâs perfectly safe, but I understand if you donât want to see some of your, um, old foes.â
âItâs fine.â Hero did their best to smile. âIs Villain in there?â
âNo. They decided to eat lunch in their room today.â Head Doctor chimed, opening the door. From behind it, there was no sound.
Nothing that Head Doctor said had been untrue. The dining hall was clean, immaculately so, scattered with plastic tables and chairs, both painted to look as though they were made of wood. Each table only sat two people, and most of them were full.
Full of the cityâs worst. Villains who had hurt people, who had killed dozens.
They seemed happy enough, at least based upon the expressions on their faces. It was just about as typical as a cafeteria during mealtime could get.
Except for the quiet.
Even with the two dozen or so people sitting and eating, not a single one spoke. Each and every one of them seemed intent on sitting and eating the food before them.Â
Hero scanned the room a moment, gaze eventually setting upon one of the few tables with an empty chair. They didn't recognize the villain very well. They may have had ice-related powers, or something of the like. But they had fought, at least once. And Hero didnât remember them being that horrible.
It was something. It was the best they were going to get.
âHead Doctor?â They spoke up.
âYes, Hero?â
âThereâs someone else here, I want to speak to.â They gestured towards the villain, sitting alone. Staring at their food. Engrossed. âWe used to, um, we fought a lot. I want to talk to them.â
âOh? Well, thatâs just fine by me. Itâs always good to reconcile. Theyâre a model patient. Do you want anything to eat?â
âNo thank you.â
âAlright, then. Iâll be back at the end of lunch, if that sounds alright?â
âThatâs just fine.â
âSplendid! I will see you then, Hero.â
Hero ducked their head in agreement, waiting until the doctor had left before approaching the table. They moved slowly, taking a seat across from the villain that they couldnât so much as remember the name of. Even as they sat down, the person across from the table did not so much as bat an eye.
They only did so when Hero spoke up:
âUm, hello.â
It was oddly slow, the way in which the villain raised their head. They placed down their fork gingerly, smiling.
âHello, Hero. I havenât seen you in quite some time.â
âUh, you neither. How are you doing?â
âI am doing just fine, Hero.â It was terribly stilted, the way in which they spoke, as though they had to carefully consider each word. âHow are you doing?â
âFine.â
âDid you come here to visit me?â
âUm, not you specifically. I came here to visit Villain.â
The edges of the villainâs smile flickered a moment, as if continuing to keep them upturned was quickly becoming a major effort.
âYou should leave this place, Hero.â Even as they said it, their smile never fell. âItâs not worth it.â
Their hand gripped around the handle of their fork.
âDo you know where they are? Where Villain is?â
âYes I do, Hero. I did not think you would care. It is you who put them here.â
âI didnât do anything. Are they-â They looked around, expecting to see at least one guard, one nurse, one orderly. But the dining hall was barren of every person except villains. âAre they okay?â
âIf I tell you that, I will end up like them. You do not want to be in this place, Hero. You should leave this place.â
âUm-â A single drop of sweat dripped down the side of their face, tracing their jawline. âI really suddenly need to use the bathroom.â
âItâs right there.â The villain raised a hand, pointing to a door labelled â16 - Restroomsâ˛. âThe bathroom is in room 43.â
Hero didnât have to be given the hint twice.
âââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââÂ
Thanks so much for reading! Just like last time, there are two options along with every part of this story. Alongside each options is a question, so that you guys can give more specific suggestions if you so wish. The option that receives the most votes will be the choice that our Hero makes!Â
A.) Risk it all and attempt a prison break - Should Hero attempt to free the others, as well?
B.) Donât take the risk. Leave and reconsider - Should Hero tell anyone what they saw?

I became a writer one day.
There was a time when I was feeling really down during the last three months of 2020. It was hectic and was probably the most saddest months of my life.
The only last string of happiness that gave way to my depressed mental state was when I started reading Lout of Count's Family.
I had enjoyed myself and was so engrossed with the novel and manhwa that I have never felt so deeply enchanted towards a story and a character before.
During the start of the year I have distanced myself with a bunch of people and I may or may not have hurt a few of them along the way. The only given comfort I could have, as I tried to move on from the issues I have been fighting from within, was through reading the novel and gaining online friends in discord.
It was all so much fun!! So many talented artists and apparently a LOT of those authors I have read fanfics about TCF/LCF (like those big big names whose fics had a bunch of hits and kudos) where practically living in the server.
Oh man the joy I had was intense when I realized I was actually mingling and talking to them. I was just at awe with how their thought process worked, how they articulated those details and plots in their writing, and seeing them creating AU's in the AU's channel whether it be fluff or angst or crack or a mix of the three XD. I was reading and chatting with them live and it felts so surreal to have read so many different alternate universes and stories created on the spot.
So main point.
One day, as I was craving for more fics of my otp, AlbeCale (I love these two so much), I tried asking in one of the channels in the server if there were any new ones, because apparently I have read everything already in ao3. However, I did not expect a magnificent coin named Penny, a beautiful fruit named Mango, a fancy potato called Fancipotato, a sweet purple dragon named Miru, the Boss of our server, Boss Ren and a bunch more writers would tell me something that would change my life for the better
"If you can't find what you want, write it yourself~"
"You don't know until you try! You can just write and not post it if you want!"
"Join us!"
"Just write down ideas you have and who knows maybe it will evolve into an oneshot and before you know it a multichapter au!"
"Ohhhh!!! You should try writing!! I highly encourage just to try even if you don't think it's good because it's fun, therapeutic."
It still gets me laughing whenever I recalled my past self, who after creating a username and wrote 3 chapters in, posted in two days immediately. That was when the Boss Ren, Mango and my beta partner Butter, gave me a looong lecture at that moment XD I didn't know what was 'spacing' and that it was better to set schedules. And they were also kind enough to tell those things to me so I wouldn't have a burnt out.
I was just so new to everything, heck I haven't even written a fanfic before in my life, never even read fics/ original stories in wattpad or ao3 before I found my love for the novel. (This novel has also been the third story I've read when I only mostly bury myself with manhwas/mangas)
It ended well and I have learned so many things along the way. My writing has greatly improved because of the people I have conversed with for the past 4 months. I have these tiny gremlins named Aster, Polka and Elli who are with me in a private server made Crypt who always seemed to persuade me in creating more plot to the story. These damn little enablers where the reason why the story is still not stopping anytime soon... (but they are a blessing and I would kill for them)
Crazy thing here is, if I told my past self who was still down in the dumps back in 2020 that I was writing in 2021 she would probably say,
"No shitting way!"
So enough backstory, since I've explained the depth of how I was just a beginner writer with no experience whatsoever, I am proud of where I am standing right now.
To think I have found this magical outlet to release my stress and to feed myself when I am craving for 'food' for the heart and soul at the same time. I have met so many kind humans down in the comment section who believes, supports and loves my first fic. I won't ever shut up about my this fic everywhere because the moment I posted that story was the day I felt somewhat lighter, satisfied and... well free.
To my past self who wouldn't stop crying her tears every night inside the bedroom, you'll be surprised to know that I'm already at the 20th chapter of the first fic I've written with 100,000 words count. (And I'm not even halfway done with the plot) I have garnered 2k kudos which I'm pretty sure you wouldn't even believe, knowing you were just a reader and did not think you'd be a writer.
I was unexpectedly influenced in the pursuit of the vast horizon of writing where I still can't see the end, but I'm enjoying every bits and parts of the journey.
In simpler terms, I am happier now. Why? Because I became a writer one day.
Thank you for sharing! It is great to see which healing effect writing can have. And how awesome what successes and affirmation you've already received! I wish you the best for your future writing!
Share your writing success! (x)

Kenma, Kuroo and Nishinoya finding a pregnancy test
Request: mmmkay, so quarantines got me watching an unhealthy amount of anime, so could i please request kuroo, kenma, and nishinoya finding their fem SO pregnancy tests hidden in their shared bathroom? Thank you! love your writing i cant get enough!â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸ - anonymous
Another pregnancy request? YES PLEASE I LIVE FOR THESE. THEY WATER MY CROPS AND CLEAR MY SKIN. It donât matter for which fandom it is, a pregnancy and/or domestic request is always a good one. If i get carried away itâs not my fault I canât help it. Love yaa.đđđ
rules
warnings: fluff mainly, maybe some sprinkle of angst on Kenmaâs but nothing major
Kozume KenmaÂ
-You two have been living together for 3 years now.
-Being in a happy relationship since your third year of high school and then going to the same university, your lives were bound to one another.Â
-You werenât married and it didnât really bother you.
-Your friends would jokingly call you Mrs. Kozume and Kenma never denied it, he would usually just wrap an arm around your waist and bring you closer to him.Â
-So when you discussed kids it was a shocker.Â
- âI know we are not married and all, if you want to do that first thatâs fine I have no problem with that itâs just that....have you seen how Hinata is with his little girl?âÂ
-You had seen how happy Hinata was with his daughter.
-She was a few months old but he was so deeply in love with her.
-And you had seen how Kenma looked at them interact.
-Â âOkay letâs try, but no vlogging our journey or some shit!â
-You hadnât seen him agree to something so fast in your life.Â
-That was about a year and a half ago.Â
-It has been a hectic ride and a disheartening one at that.
-You had a miscarriage earlier last year and after that you hadnât managed to conceive again.Â
-At first you panicked, believing that after that misfortune something broke inside of you and you wouldnât be able to have a child after all.Â
-But Kenma, being the calm one in your relationship, took you to a doctor who said that your body was just in shock and you would be able to carry a child.Â
-Â âJust give your body some time to rest.â
-It has been five months since that and now you are standing in the middle of your bathroom staring at the pregnancy test in your hands.Â
-Positive.Â
-You wanted to squeal and cry at the same time, maybe laugh a little.Â
-Kenma was setting up his computer to start a stream.
-One that he and 99.9% of his fans had requested to see you in.
-You had been in Kenmaâs videos multiple times both on stream and on YouTube.Â
-Placing the pregnancy test in the cabinet near the sink you walked out and went to Kenma.Â
-You would tell him after this, give yourself time to control your excitement.Â
-The stream was going well, you were answering questions *some of them had been asked before but you answered none the less* and giggling along side Kenma as he started telling the story of your failed date at the zoo.Â
-A monkey had tried to take the flower that he had given you and it bit you in its attempts to take it.
-At some point Kenma got up and went to the bathroom and you were left alone with the fans showing them some of your favorite pictures.Â
-While you were enjoying the stream Kenma was having a heart attack.
-He had opened the cabinet to get some tissues you stored there and came face to face with the pregnancy test.Â
-The positive pregnancy test.
-You were pregnant? AND DIDNâT TELL HIM?Â
-What if it ended like the last pregnancy?
-Oh god he wouldnât be able to pull out of there this time.Â
-Your laughter rang through the apartment and reached his ears, breaking his train of thought and bringing him back to reality.Â
-Walking slowly towards the room his saw you with your back turned towards the door talking to the camera at his fans.Â
-Right he was on a stream.
-It didnât matter.
-Â âY/N...this is real right?â
-Turning around you saw him in the doorway, head hanging low looking at the stick in his hands his hair framing his features completely.Â
-Â âKenmaaaa I wanted it to be a surprise!!!â
-The chat was on fire as Kenma closed the distance between you hugging you tightly before he placed you in his lap and announced that you would be welcoming another Kozume in the world.Â
-Â âAnd no I wonât be vlogging anything!!!â
Kuroo Tetsuro
-He married you right after he finished university.Â
-You had known each other since your first year of high school but began dating during freshman year in university.Â
-Kuroo now an esteemed doctor loved calling you by his last name, it felt unreal.
-It didnât long for him to start imagining an even more domesticated life with you.Â
-You worked at the same hospital as a nurse and you usually could be found in the kids ward.Â
-You were always great with kids, making the laugh and helping them stop crying.Â
-What did it for him was when you were helping at the new born section and you were cooing at a baby, looking so soft and happy holding the small human that he wanted to have a baby right then and there.Â
-He saw you again there helping a mother feed her baby and it felt just right.
-On the ride home he popped the question.Â
- âI saw you having fun in the new born isle today.âÂ
-Â âThose babies are just too cute, Tetsu!!â
-Â âYeah, seeing you got me thinking what our kids would look like.â
-He was trying to play it cool, but you saw right through him.
-Â âReal smooth Tetsu.â
-Little did he know though that you had already taken three pregnancy test this morning all coming out positive.Â
-You had left them on the bathroom counter because you were already late.Â
-Â âI need to hide them, make it a surprise.â
-The drive to your shared apartment was full of laughs and Kurooâs poor sense of humor.Â
-It was dad jokes.Â
-He was practicing his dad jokes.Â
-Surprisingly he didnât pressure you on the matter of kids.
-Â âWeâll talk about it later.â
-He had a small pout on his lips but he soon changed the subject.Â
-Arriving home you went to place the groceries but you didnât balance them right and the milk carton fell on Kuroo.Â
-There was milk everywhere.
-On the floor, on Kuroo, some of it was on you, on the counter.
-Â âWay to go kitten....â
-He made his way to the bathroom to throw his clothes into the washer and wash his hands.
-Then he noticed the three sticks on the counter.
-Curiousity killed the cat.Â
-And Kuroo is cat.
-He has been a cat since high school.Â
-Looking at the sticks it took him some time to realize what they were.Â
-His eyes widened at the realization.
-Why didnât you tell him???
-He was panicking ever so slightly, his breathing becoming erratic.
-Well he wanted to start a family with you didnât he?
-After a few minutes of breathing exercises he still couldnât decide if he should start jumping up and down from his giddiness or panic some more. Â
-You on the other hand had juts finished putting the things away and mopping the milk off the floor.Â
-Â âWhat is he doing in there?â
-You know how I said that you wanted your pregnancy to be a surprise?
-And how you wanted to hide the tests before he found them?
-Yeah you forgot and because you were dumb it took you some time to put two and two together.
-Sprinting to the bathroom you flung the door open coming face to face with a wide eyes Kuroo holding the test in his hands.Â
-Â âSurprise?â
-He looked at you, opening his mouth and then closing it not being able to find the right words.Â
-Then he was hugging you.
-He was lifting you off the ground and laughing/sobbing in your ear.Â
-Â âThank you thank you thank you thank you.â
-Now you were sobbing too.Â
-The rest of the night was spent with you on the couch surrounded by blankets and snacks, while Kuroo did everything.Â
-He made dinner, he helped you undress and put on your PJs, all in all he wouldnât let you lift a finger.Â
-Heâs just so damn happy he can barely contain it.Â
-Next day at the hospital he was bragging to everyone and their mothers about your pregnancy.Â
Nishinoya Yuu
-Em heâs baby?
-Like literally.
-Living with him is like living with a five year old.
-And god forbid Tanaka comes to visit.Â
-Now youâre babysitting two five year olds.Â
-Anyways.Â
-Noya our sweet sweet libero here, wanted to marry you since high school.
-He even proposed while you two were in your third year.Â
-They had just won a very difficult game and he was on cloud 9.
-You had gone down to congradulate them on their win and give a few victory smooches to your boyfriend when you were tackled to the floor by a very sweaty Noya.Â
-Â âY/N BABY DID YOU SEE ME????â
-Â âYes I did, babe.â
-Â âIâM SO HAPPY I COULD MARRY YOU RIGHT NOW!â
-Awkward silence.Â
-He didnât even look sorry after he said it.
-It didnât sound like it slipped either.
-Â âWhat I am going to marry you so why donât we do it now?â
-Fast forward five years and he truly kept his promise.
-You two share a nice apartment and are living a happy life.Â
-Not a peaceful one.Â
-Peace is not an option with Noya.Â
-Come on...
-You two hadnât really talked about children but you knew he was great with kids.Â
-You saw how he got whenever your nephew and niece came to visit.Â
-He would be so playful with them but simultaneously protective and careful which was surprising because well he was Nishinoya.Â
-So when you started feeling sick one morning your first thought was to take a pregnancy test.Â
-You see Noya em likes to feel free....if you know you know.Â
-When the test came out positive you were both excited and nervous.Â
-What if he didnât want kids?Â
-What if he left?
-Noya would never leave you and he would insist you went through every difficult situation together as team but you werenât in the best state of mind at the moment.Â
-You were drawn out of your thoughts when his voice rang through the apartment.
-Â âBabe, Tanaka is here could you get the door?â
-Leaving everything as it was in the bathroom you went to open the door.Â
-your brain was running on autopilot.
-You had no brain cells to spare at the moment okay??
-Â âHeyyyyy Y/N how are you?????â
-And so the game night the two of them had planned began.Â
-You were making dinner waiting for Tanakaâs girlfriend to arrive so you can talk about your little revelation.Â
-And yes Tanaka has a girlfriend who is indeed Kiyoko.Â
-As you were cutting some vegetables, Tanaka stood up and went to the bathroom and at the same moment the door bell rang.Â
-Not even two seconds passed before you heard screeching form the bathroom.Â
-You had opened the door and were greeting Kiyoko when you remembered the state you left the bathroom in.Â
-Â âYUU HOLY SHIT WHY DIDNâT YOU TELL ME YOU BASTARD?â
-Â âTELL YOU WHAT YOU IDIOT?â
-Â âTHAT YOUâRE A DAD WHAT ELSE?â
-Le silence.Â
-Kiyoko was looking from your stomach to the pregnancy test Tanaka had thrown at Nishinoya.Â
-Â âIâM A WHAT???????????â
-Chaos ensued.
-Noya was talking frantically with you and asking you about when you found out, why you didnât tell him etc while Tanaka was being scolded by Kiyoko for ruining your surprise.Â
-It was a very eventful night to say the least.Â
-But a happy one nonetheless.Â

Champagne Problems
Chapter Two
Masterlist
Aelin Galathynius was tired, but that was what you got when you decided to wake up at six in the morning. Aelin doesnât remember how Rowan convinced her that 6:30 was a perfectly acceptable time to run in the morning, or how six a.m. really wasnât thatearly, but she despised him for it. Â She knew that was a lie, that she adored Rowan, but every time her alarm goes off, she canât help but silently curse her best friend. Â
Aelin was not a morning person. Â One of the only ways she could actually meet Rowan on time most mornings was by sleeping in her leggings, or her gym clothes, that way most mornings all she would have to do was push her feet in her sneakers and pull her golden blonde hair into a pony and be out the door. Â Coffee also may or may not help her get her day started. Â
She had a Keurig in her apartment, and the sugariest, most creamy coffee creamer in the fridge to help her wake up in the morning. Â So that how she usually started her mornings: shoes, hair, and coffee.
The caffine and the sugar in her drink wakes her up as she sips her drink on the way to meet Rowan in front of the campus library, managing to recycle the empty cup just before she sees Rowan. Â
They have been going on these morning runs for nearly two years now, since they decided to put their differences beside and become friends. They hated each other when they first met, both dealing with their own inner demons and not realizing that the person they each hated reminded themselves a little too much of what they saw when they looked in the mirror. When they finally called a truce, they decided the both needed a better way to deal with their loss and the stress of the world, hence the near daily jogs.
Even though she hated the early mornings, Aelin would be the first to admit that the runs helped. Â She was no longer drinking herself half to death and getting into fist fights, and instead was feeling the steady pound of her feet on the pavement and the beat of her heart as she pushed her body to its limit. Â Aelin had always been active in her childhood, avidly practicing karate and mixed martial arts until she was sixteen, she didnât realize how much she craved the endorphins of exercise and a runnerâs high until she was nineteen and started to run with Rowan.
Early on into her friendship with Rowan, Aelin decided becoming friends was one of the best things she had ever done. Â Together they had decided to walk the path back to the light, and it had changed Aelinâs life for the better. Â Nearing the end of her Junior year at the University of Terrasen, Aelin no longer felt like that angry and bitter freshmen she once was.
Aelin noticed Rowan seemed tired as she approached him, though she supposed that wasnât odd. Â She knew from Sam that he and the guys went out get drinks last night, he usually just wasnât quite so hung over. Â As one of the âhealthy lifestyle choicesâ, as Rowan liked to put it, that they would partake in together was to no longer overindulge in alcohol, and drink their problems away. Â Though perhaps this time it was in celebration, as he was approaching the end of his senior year, and she knew how beyond excited he was about starting his masterâs program coming that fall.
Though they no longer overindulged, Aelin missed drinking with Rowan. Â Rowan got goofy when he drank and damn her if it wasnât one of the cutest things she had ever seen. Â Especially how he giggled when he was tipsy, and she was telling some stupid joke. Â She missed him, their lives had been so hectic lately between finishing up the semester and splitting their time among their various friends.
Rowan sighed as they began their run. Â Aelin glanced over at Rowan. Who was scowling his way through his morning workout, that at least was semi-normal. Â Rowan was not the mostly openly happy man on the best of days, scowling while running through his hangover seemed just like Rowan. They made their way through campus and ran past some of the historic buildings of downtown Orynth. Â Aelin always loved this part of the city, she liked to imagine the lives of the long-ago royals as she ran past the palace and what used to be the mansions and hot spots of the wealthy. Â
The buildings still belonged to the wealthy, but now they mostly made-up high-end apartment buildings and trendy boutiques and restaurants  near the U of T campus. Aelin should know, her apartment was located inside one of the former mansions, now a trendy apartment complex, near the palace and just a fifteen-minute walk to the campus library.
Aelin and Rowanâs pace began to slow down as they reached the end of their five-mile run, they had almost made it back to the library, the halfway point between both of their apartments. Â When they finally reached their stopping point, Aelin flashed Rowan a smile over her shoulder which her warily returned.
âWell, you certainly worked your alcohol consumption off now.â Aelin joked towards Rowan, who just scowled in return. Â âYou can now go out again tonight, and not feel guilty about all the drinks you downed yesterday.â
âI didnât drink that much,â Rowan protested.
âReally? Thatâs not what Sam told me,â Aelin shot back snarkily. Â Rowan just sighed, and Aelin flashed him a triumphant grin. âWill I see you at the Cadre tonight?â she asked, naming their local haunt for cheap drinks near campus.
Rowan just solemnly nodded and said âSee you tonight, Ace.â As he trudged his way back to his own apartment.
Aelin smiled to herself as she strolled at a leisurely pace as she made her way back to her own apartment. Â Aelin loved her apartment. Â She loved the white marble counter tops in her kitchen, her sofa in her living room, perfect for lounging the day away, it was her safe haven. Â Aelin purchased the place right after her freshmen year of College ended, she would soon be moving out of her dorm and she needed a place to call home, since she could not stand to be alone in the house where she and her parents once lived.
One of the newer fixtures in Aelin apartment was her boyfriend, Sam Cortland. Â She had just recently given him a key, so he saw fit to come to her apartment whenever he pleased.
âI see you let yourself in.â Aelin called as she walked through the door.
Sam looked up and grinned at her from his seat at the kitchen island, âJust thought Iâd check on my beautiful girlfriend, and see what she was up to today.â
âBesides finishing my English lit paper and getting out of these disgustingly sweaty clothes?â Aelin asked.
âYes, besides that.â Sam laughed over his cup of coffee.
âI told Rowan Iâd meet him at the Cadre tonight.â Aelin said, as she watched Samâs face become closed off, as he stared deeply into his mug.
âRowan didnât say anything about last night, did he?â Sam asked cautiously.
Aelin snorted, âNo. It seems you guys had fun last night, judging by Rowanâs hang over though,â Aelin laughed. âIâm surprised youâre up and functioning this morning,â Aelin said as she went over to poke her boyfriend in the stomach.
âWell, I clearly didnât have as good of a night as Rowan did,â Sam laughed, âbut I was thinking we could have a good night soon.â Aelin perked up. âHow about Mistwardâs next Friday night? We can invite the whole gang. It can be our celebration for graduating and finishing our sophomore year.â
âMistwards, huh?â Aelin was skeptical, Mistwardâs was one of the nicest restaurants in all of Orynth, and one of the most expensive. âDo you really think our friends would be up for that? I donât think Lorcan can dress nicely enough to get into a place like Mistwardâs.â
At the end of every school year, Aelin and all her friends would gather, usually at the Cadre, and have a huge blow out celebration for finishing up the school year. Â This year was different since both Rowan and Sam were graduating, this celebration had to be better, and to reflect all of them, and MIstwardâs definitely did not reflect Rowan.
âI think I can convince them,â Sam said with a sly grin.
âI donât KnowâŚâ
âCome on, Aelin,â He was still smiling, âI got it covered.â He set his mug of coffee on the counter and got up to kiss her. He pulled her into his arms, holding her close. Â She relaxed into his warmth.
âIâm surprised youâre willing to touch me; Iâm covered in sweat.â Aelin mumbled into his chest.
Sam laughed heartily, âMaybe my intentions werenât so pure, weâre both fairly sweaty now. How about I run us a shower.â
Aelin laughed and began to walk into her bathroom to run a shower for the both of them.

Live my Life Ch.1
Kuroo x fem reader
Summary: sometimes life is full of making the wrong choices and not knowing till itâs to late.
A/N: this is chapter one of my new story. Iâm still writing the Home series I must really wanted to start this story as well. I hope you guys like this one.
Warning: Angst, Smut, Drunk Sex, Underage drinking, toxic behavior
You found yourself sitting in this dingy bar nursing a drink you werenât supposed to have. This had become part of your routine. It all started about three weeks ago. Your friend Kana, or well you suppose she could be called a friend she was more of a friend of a friend. She seemed nice enough kind of the free spirit type of girl always into the new big trend, not really what you would describe yourself as, more of what you wanted to be. You werenât exactly some shy shut in but still your anxieties held you back from charging head first into in life and taking the bull by the horns. Thatâs why you surprised even yourself when you offered to be Kanaâs bar buddy.
Kana is bartender at this whole in the wall bar with dim lighting. It got fairly good business but not enough to warrant more than one bartender at a time. That being the case Kana would often be there by herself well late into the night, the neighborhood wasnât horrible but it still was unsettling sometimes. So as her bar buddy you would come at some point in her shift and find a free seat at the bar hopefully far enough distance from any other patrons. Youâd order some fries or whatever greasy snack food you craved and waited there with her while she worked until she was ready to lock up. It was pretty easy youâd just sit there offering her someone to talk when she was bored or when she need to escape some overbearing customers. Sheâd make her way over too you and pretend to make you a drink. Although she offered you a drink you usually turn her down for the clear fact that you were underage when it came to drinking. It was perfectly fine for you to sit in the establishment since it also served food but at the age of 18 drinking was still prohibited. Being the laid back girl and bartender she was Kana didnât care about bending that rule for a friend.
Most nights youâd pull out some school work on your tablet that your carried with you or just read some stories on your phone. Usually trying your best to avoid conversation with the regulars. That didnât work as well as you hoped and soon enough you were quickly learning all of the local gossip and being included in the group known as the regulars. Which is what you were since you found yourself here four nights out of you week. You didnât mind spending so much of your time here with Kana it was kind of nice to stray from your comfort zone plus you and Kana were steadily getting closer as friends too. Everything was smooth sailing until you met him.
It was a usual Thursday night you got dressed in your causal but sleek outfit. Wearing a comfortable pair of Jeans that hugged your body nicely not too tight but still showed your curves. You paired it with a black blouse and black ankle boots. You freshened up your make up of the day not needing to try to hard seeing as you werenât going there to impress anyone. In fact you preferred to not draw any attention. Your brushed through your hair finally heading out of your home and too the dingy bar. Things seemed a little off tonight some felt different but still you took your usual seat as you scanned the bar. It was fairly empty only two other customers sitting all the way at the other end of the counter. Kana wasnât anywhere to be found, sheâs probably just grabbing something back you reasoned. And sure enough you could hear a clang in the back of the establishment that was hidden from the public eye. Although it wasnât Kana that popped around the corner. Instead stood a tall and extremely handsome guy. He was wild black hair that was strewn in a chaotic fashion but it suited him. You could tell by his physique that he was fit , not too overly muscular but when he reached up to put the box he was carrying on the top shelf you could see a peak of a very well defined v line on his tanned skin. This man was the definition of tall, dark ,and handsome. And that wasnât even mentioning his intense honey eyes that felt like they pierced your soul with just one look. He wore a black pair of fitted jeans and a red button up with strange print on it. You could inspect the odd design more intensely as he approached you with a smirk plastered on his face. Ah they were little black cats that littered his print. The style screamed Iâm stylish but quirky.
âWell hello there sweetheart how can I help you?â You could tell he was using his customer service persona. Ah he goes for the smooth talkng flirt, he probably does very well with middle aged woman, you think.
âUm yeah,â you state giving the room one more look â do you know where Kana is?â You questioned.
His perked at the mention of your friend. You could see him relax a little as he released some tension rolling his shoulders back. âAhh you must be YN,â he smiled placing his hands on the bar leaning forward. His voice was a notch higher no longer Using his deep Casanova tone, this one was more natural. You eyes widened at the sound of your name leaving his lips.
âYeah,â you replied hesitant.
âIâm Kuroo Tetsurou,â he presented his hand offering a firm shake to which you awkwardly accepted. âIâm guessing Kana forgot to inform you that id becoming back to work my usual Thursday shift today did she?â He let out a small chuckle.
Damn it Kana you cursed inside your mind. You could have been cozy in bed right now. âHa nope she did not,â you let out a sigh. âI didnât realize she was just covering these last few weeksâ you respond.
âShe just had my Thursday shift Mondays and Wednesdays are still her regular days.â He grinned âshe was nice enough to take my shift while I was out with some family stuff.â
âAhh I see, well Iâll should probably get out of your hair,â you stated starting to slide off the stool.
âHey wait you came all the way out here let me get you a drink,â he offered.
You froze in your seat for a moment kind of embarrassed. You felt heat creep to your face as you respond â oh umm Iâm not actually old enough Iâm only 18,â your eye locked on the surface in front of you.
He let out a chuckle âlet me see your ID.â
Your face scrunched in confusion âbut-â you start but he cuts you off.
âShh just hand it over,â he smiles. You raise your eyebrow as you reach into your handbag fishing out your ID and handing it over. He backs upmholding it as though it was valid. âWell look at that! Sure enough youâre 20,â he gives a cheeky smile âso what can I get you to drink?â
You take back your card placing it back safely in your bag a look of shock present on your youthful features. You lean forward whispering âwonât you get in trouble!â Not wanting to have someone risk their job. He lets out a haughty laugh. âMy dads the owner so Iâm not too worried.â He stated cockily. âSo again what are you drinking sweetheart?â Again he flashed that stupid smirk that sent your stomach doing flips.
After two drinks and some idle chit chat in his free time you decided it probably be best if you headed out. He was quick to stop you. âAhh come on dont leave so soon I was hoping youâd be my bar buddy too,â he pouted. You rolled your eyes at his teasing. It was enough to keep you there though ordering another drink to nurse. It felt nice chatting and casually flirting with this attractive stranger.
This too became part of your routine. You still went to the bar during Kanaâs shift to keep her company but you kept going on Thursday and spending you night talking to Kuroo. The both of you spending most of the night getting to know each other. It was just surface things like school, you found out he was two years older than you going to a university near by studying chemical engineering, and your taste in music which was something you had a lot in common. The conversation focused mainly on you. He always directed the flow of the conversation he was so out going and smooth, always asking questions about your day liked hearing about your day as if being a 3rd year in high school was the most exciting thing. Youâd sit there for hours with him trying new drinks sometimes finding yourself leaving the bar at three am as if you didnât have class in four hours. But you didnât care it was exhilarating this was the most rebellious thing you had ever done. The flirting was harmless never going to far. And although you wouldnât admit you were getting a crush on the raven haired bartender.
It was just another Wednesday night but today something inside of you told you to dress up more than youâd usually go for. Tonight you wore a simple black dress with a deep neckline that really showed your figure without being to flashy. Your period had recently finished so knowing you were securely dried up you decided to go for a pair of your fancy red lace panties and a matching bra that always boosted your confidence. Not that anyone would be seeing them. You checked yourself one last time before heading out to the bar and damn did you look hot.
When you entered the bar you were surprised to it was rather busy with customers all over the place, luckily you find a seat at the bar. You noticed that Kenma was also behind the bar. Kenma was the other bartender that worked the shifts opposite of Kana and Kuroo. He was also Kurooâs best friend. Youâve only met him a couple times when heâd come to the bar to see Kuroo while he was on shift. It must be really busy if they called him in to work the bar with Kana.
Kana gave a sigh of relief and smiled as she saw you sitting at the bar. âOh my god girl hey,â smiled âdo you see how hectic it is?â She laughed. She took a moment to fully look you over her eyes wide.
âDamn girl you look fucking hot!â You felt some pride grow in you hearing your friend complement you. She always looked amazing so hearing that she thought you looked great felt like high praise.
âYou want a drink babe?â She asked although it was more a of statement as she was already whipping together a drink before you were finished nodding. She handed you a strong yet sweet drink before she was whisked away by some needy patrons.
You sipped on your drink watching Kana handle the crowd. You and Kenmas eyes would lock every now and then but itâs very short and awkward. You donât know him very well. Part of your anxieties had you convinced he didnât like you. But you tried not to read into it to much. Kuroo had told you once that it was just that he wasnât much of a people person only working at the bar as a favor to Kuroo and his father. You sit there silently observing the world around you not noticing someone taking the seat next to you.
âBoo,â a husky voiced whispered into your ear sending shivers down your spine. Kuroo cackled as you jumped turning around clutching your chest.
âWhat the hell Kuroo!â You gasped trying to steady your breathing. âThey call you in too?â You ask referring to the booming business you sat in.
âNah itâs my day off and I wanted to come have a drink and bug Kenma,â he rose his hand singling said man for a drink. âBut looks like I lucked out now I get to bother you all night,â he smirked.
âOh really and who said I want to have you around I deal with you enough on Thursdays,â you smiled back with a sly look.
He feigned a look of hurt. âOuch YN you wound me, I thought we were friends,â giving you look that definitely didnât come off as just friendly. You just roll your eyes trying to hide your intrigue. âWell it seems I need to prove my friendship to you let me by you a drink.â He rested his hand on yours as he signaled for a refill on your drink.
You should have seen it coming but you acted surprised when after several drinks and a couple rounds of shots you found yourself in the back seat of his car. Your red panties tossed to the side somewhere in the vehicle. You were laying back as he dove under the hem your dress. Kuroo looked up to your face his lips barley an inch away from your heat. He had a devious look on his face as he watched your face flush with need. Your lips were swollen from the heated make out sessions you had outside the bar. He quirked his eyebrow teasingly his heavy breath tickling you. He was waiting. It was almost tortuous but you knew what he wanted.
You pouted your chest rising and falling from your hard breathing. âPlease!â You begged. He smiled content with hearing your pleas before diving into you his tongue lapping at your wet folds. Your head fell back in pleasure as he ate you out like a man starved. Your moans filled the car as he worked his skilled tongue in and out of you. He could feel how close you were as he felt you clench around his fingers as he worked you loose. Relief flooded your body as you came on his face. Lust still flooding you as you watched him lick up all your juices. He moved up your body sealing your lips into a searing kiss you could taste your essence on his lips.
Your hands reached down his body grabbing at his bulge. He let out a groan in your ear before picking you up and placing you on his lap. He attacked you neck nippping and sucking harsh purple marks into your skin. He pulled the collar of your dress down pulling your breast out . Moving your bra down he latched his lips around your swollen nipple rolling it between his teeth. You let out a pained moan as you rolled you hips into his lap. He finally hit limit. He lifted you up as he pulled his pants and boxers down before lining his achingly hard length with your wet cunt before pulling you down on it. Both of your groans filled the space as you felt him fill you whole. You hid your face in his neck as you panted while he let you adjust to the intrusion. You could feel his hands roaming your ass pushing the skirt of your dress up. A sudden smack came to your ass. You let out a hiss. He rubbed the mark he left on your soft skin.
âGo ahead sweetheart ride my cock,â he demanded. His dirty words sent shivers over body. You did just as he said starting to move your hips up and down rotating on his dick as it reached deep inside of you. Your body was already on edge from your earlier release so it took no time to have you clenching tightly around him you next orgasm fastly approaching.
âFuck youâre so god damn tight,â he groaned. Lust took over as he grabbed your hips holding you still as he drilled up into your pliant body. Your moans egged him on as he chased both of your climaxes. He loved the feeling of your pussy clamping down on him. Feeling you milk his cock drained him of his will and of his semen as he came deep into you.
You both sat there for a moment both coming down from your highs. Bodies worn from the intense session you had just had. He groaned throughing his head back, âfuck I didnât wear a condom,â he cursed.
âIâm on birth controlâ you breathed moving off his lap. You searched for your panties sliding them on quickly trying to contain the mess between your legs.
âGood, thatâs good,â he breathed a sigh of relief he looked around both of you. It seemed no one notice dyour little drunken romp in the parking lot. There was a slight awkward pause neither knowing what to say.
âWell that was great,â he offered, âuhh do you need a ride home?â He questioned.
You shook your head, âno Iâll just grab a quick Uber home,â you respond pulling your phone out to do just that.
He nodded seeming to like that idea not wanting you to walk home. âIâll probably head back in and sober up a little before heading home. I definitely canât drive right now. Iâm not even sure my legs will get me back inside,â he laughed. You giggled as well. A chime rang from your phone, your ride would be pulling up soon.
âHey give me your number and message me when you get phone safe.â He said taking the phone to send a message to himself successfully trading numbers. He gave you one more deep kiss before you left to catch your Uber.
That night your body passed out exhausted. You knew you were going to regret drinking so much tomorrow morning when you have to wake up for class.
And damn was your body sore. Your head was ponding from all the alcohol and the rest was sore from the wild sex you had. Still you woke up bright and early making sure to shower off any evidence from your delinquent activities. You made sure to take some Advil before leaving for school opting to skip breakfast since your stomach was still unstable from the liquor. Your morning classes were relatively easy not but extremely boring. You found yourself daydreaming through most of your history class thinking back to your night with Kuroo. Little fantasys of dates, and more long talks at the bar, even some naughty ideas popped into your head. It was almost like you willed him into existence because not two seconds later your phone vibrated. Your heart skipped a beat seeing his name pop up in your notifications. You laughed at the way he saved his number last night. Oh my god he texted me you thought you were so giddy. That was until you read the messages.
Kuroo đĽľ: Hey YN.
Kuroo đĽľ: Last night was a Mistake. Look I have a girlfriend and I love her so I think itâs best we pretend last night never happened. Sorry.
Ouch. That hurt.

Bird Bones
Chapter 1 Â / Â Chapter 2 Â / Chapter 3/ Chapter 4
Chapter 5
âSo, did you guys think about it?â Seokjin asked casually, watching me struggle back into my shoes after getting down from the examination table. He looked a little nervous as he stared at me and I bit my lips.
âI havenât seen Jungkook in a while. Heâs gone to Seoul with Hoseok for their dance showcase.â I said hesitantly. The last few weeks had been hectic, with Hoseok preparing for the showcase and me having to tell the administration I was pregnant. Surprisingly, most of my professors were kind about it, agreeing to share notes with me personally on days when I had to miss classes. I would miss out on a few lab credits because they coincided pretty closely with my due date but that was a whole six months away and I didnât want to worry about it right now.Â
Seokjin hummed in response and waited till I was sitting down in front of him before leveling a look at me.Â
âI see and âŚ.he would have to agree too...because?â Seokjin asked pointedly, and I flinched.Â
It was a loaded question, one that made my throat dry.Â
We werenât married. There was zero reason to have his approval to put the baby up for adoption.Â
With Jungkook out of town , his parents had contacted me again about the NDA. Iâd told them to sort it out with their son first before approaching me again , but I knew they were getting nervous. Jungkook was making it clear that he was sticking around and it was making everyone nervous.
Including me.Â
âIts not... Iâm not going to say no if he says no or anything like that. Itâs just ... he asked me to keep him in the loop thatâs it.â I protested.Â
âIâm not saying anything.â He held his hands up. â Just ....remember who he is, yeah? Heâs not.... Heâs not for you.â
It was hard to forget , I thought miserably, what with everyone throwing it at my face every day.Â
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I continued to stay at Hoseokâs place while he was at the showcase. It was better than the dorm for sure and I knew that it only made people resent me more. As a professor in my college, Hoseok had a lot of perks and most of my peers thought i was enjoying them in exchange for sleeping with him.
On the weekend before he was due to come back home, Hoseok called me from his hotel room.
âHow are you holding up?â He asked casually and I could hear voices in the background. I wanted to ask him about Jungkook but I didnât.
âIâm fine. I got my check up and Seokjin oppa told me we could fix a date to meet Yoongi and Namjoon.â I said softly, settling into the comfortable couch and tugging on the phone line.Â
âHmm.... fair enough. Iâll let Jungkook know. Heâs out with Sana tonight so-â
âSana?â I felt my breath catch in surprise.Â
âOh, yeah. she tagged along....you didnât know?â Hoseok said casually and I gulped.
âUh...no.. I mean ...whatever...theyâre....sheâs his girlfriend, right...â I laughed, sounding incredibly hollow to my own ears. Hoseok would see right through it.
âFiancee.â He said curtly.
âWhat?â
âShe isnât just a girlfriend. Sheâs his fiancee...he proposed to her last year on the Han river with a hundred grand ring.....â His tone was dry and emotionless and yet each word cut to the bone. I couldnât fucking breathe.
âYouâre....youâre trying to hurt me.â I accused hoarsely.
He growled.
âNo, Iâm fucking pissed that this thing , this fact that Jungkook is engaged to Sana has been true for a whole damn year and yet all of a sudden it fucking hurts you because youâre letting your emotions get the better of you... Have I not taught you anything, Dasom?âÂ
I closed my eyes, trying to calm myself down, my breathing ragged. He was right. He was absolutely right but it stung because Jungkook was.... Jungkook was so kind. So ridiculously endearing with his childlike amazement, his adorable possessiveness over me and yet somehow so non judgmental and so eager to be a part of the babyâs life and how on earth could I not like someone who only seemed to want to care for me??Â
And he was wrong.Â
I wasnât an idiot. I had no intention of building castles in the air, dreaming of a happily ever after with someone like Jungkook. I would get through this and things would go back to the way they were.Â
Just me and.... well Just me. Alone. By myself. The way it has always been. Â
I took a deep shuddering breath. I wasnât up to explaining all this to Hoseok. Not tonight when he was clearly angry.Â
âI hope the showcase goes well, oppa.â I whispered, hanging up before he could respond. The phone rang a second later and I left it off the hook after disconnecting it..Â
I sat there for a long time, staring into the darkness. I had to talk to Jungkook as soon as he got back. We needed a game plan. A clear end to this thing between us.Â
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
âHoseok oppa thinks we should meet Yoongi and Namjoon this weekend. â I said casually, watching Jungkook closely as he sipped his iced tea. He stopped for a second, eyes widening before landing on mine.
It was a late Sunday afternoon and he had agreed to meet me for coffee so we could talk about the dinner. He looked just as good as ever, bright and cheerful. The showcase had gone really well according to Hoseok and Jungkook had gotten offers from a whole bunch of entertainment agencies.Â
âSo soon?â He asked evenly, grip tightening on the drink.Â
I shrugged staring at the long smooth fingers. Somedays i tried to remember that night. I couldnât imagine us being graceful, having sex while drunk out of our minds . Had he been gentle? Rough? What did he like in bed? I vaguely remembered the finger shaped bruises on my wrists, like someone had gripped them together.Â
Staring at his hands now, I wondered how it mustâve felt, being held like that.Â
I shook my head to clear it. Nothing good would come from going down that path.Â
âIâm thirteen weeks along now...First trimester is over âŚ.there's not a lot of chance to miscarry and-â
âWhat the fuck why would you say that?â He whisper shouted and I frowned.
âJungkook....â
âThatâs our child youâre talking about! Donât even say that word!â
I could only stare at him.Â
âItâs going to be very difficult for you if you donât distance yourself from this baby â I said quietly.  And me.Â
Jungkook just stared at me , his eyes blazing.Â
âOur baby....  Say it. Itâs  our  fucking baby. Itâs not just a baby or this baby. Itâs ours. We made it. Itsâ going to...fucking look like us, and itâs going to get our traits and âŚ.I just donât understand how you can be so callous about something so amazing and----itâs our baby, Dasom...â He was looking at me in disbelief and I couldnât take it anymore.Â
âNo it fucking isnât!!!â I hissed angrily, my heart beating fast, â Itâs not ours, Jungkook. Itâs... itâs not something we should be celebrating..... You and I... weâre a fucking mistake. That night was a fucking mistake and this, this baby is nothing more than an unfortunate soul thatâs going to have to share the consequences of our horrendous mistake that night!â I felt tears sting.Â
I refused to let his words get to me. To make me feel guilty. Jungkook with his golden life, with his perfectly gorgeous fiancee and his filthy rich parents could afford to wax poetic about the joys of parenting but i couldnât.Â
I was a poor fucking orphan with a mother who had only cared about what was between her legs. I had to fight tooth and nail just to break out of the mould everyone had made for me,.Â
âDasom-â
âNo, stop...Just...stop and for once get rid of those rose tinted glasses you have on, and listen to me okay? Weâre going to give the baby up for adoption....He or she is going to be raised by kind, loving parents who can provide a stable happy environment . Weâre going to stop talking to each other after that. Youâre going to go get married to your Fiancee âŚ.Iâm going to go and try and build a life for myself. Thatâs whatâs in our future....Not some utopian universe where we raise this child , taking turns changing diapers and weekends at the fucking zoo!!â I finished bitterly.
âWhy do we have to stop talking to each other?â He shot back defiantly and i felt my pulse pound.Â
I glared at him and he just kept staring back at me.
âDonât-â I began but he held his hand up.Â
âI told you , Iâm not going to do everything my parents ask me to. Iâm... Iâm trying to build a life for myself too alright? Iâm not going to just... Iâm not married yet. Iâm not married yet.â He repeated and I felt a laugh of disbelief bubble up inside me.
âWhat the fuck does that even mean? Youâre engaged-â
âI was engaged before I was fucking born. â He snapped, running fingers through his hair in evident frustration. â Sana and I grew up together. We just...weâve been told that we'll be together all our lives and its all we have ever known. But that doesnât mean its too late for us to think about other things...other options...â
âAnd youâre saying Iâm another option? You donât even like me JeonJungkook-â i laughed in disbelief.
âI think youâre beautiful.â He said softly and I felt my jaw come unhinged.Â
What.
 What?
â I saw you two years ago when you dropped by the practice room to meet Hobi hyung.. I thought you were beautiful then... So wildly uncaring about what others thought and I thought you looked amazing with your long hair and easy smile...I still do.â He was staring right at me and i felt heat creep up my neck.Â
I shook my head.Â
âIâm not listening to this nonsense.â i said sharply, reaching for my bag from the chair next to me.
âHyung knows... Its why heâs always telling you not to trust me.... He knows how I feel about you and he doesnât want the competition...â He sneered and I felt my hackles rise. Jungkookâs jealousy towards Hoseok was the most irrational thing in the whole world and it pissed me off so bad.Â
âNow I know you really are full of shit-â
âHeâs in love with you. Heâs always been in love with you and youâre too caught up in your own self pity to notice that.â He grabbed my wrist when I tried to get up from the chair. â Sit the fuck down and let me finish.â
âYouâre spouting nonsense. Iâm not interested in it...â I hissed back and he laughed.
âNonsense? Iâve never hidden how I felt about you. Donât tell me youâve never noticed me watching you , because everyone else has. Why else do you think Sana is so threatened? She knows... She knows Iâm attracted to you...Knows that I want-----â He stopped and I knew he was going to say âyouâÂ
â Sana knows that I want youâ .Â
I stared at him in disbelief.Â
But he just barreled on, completely unbothered by how upset I was.Â
â I want to get to know you better. And fine, even if you donât want to keep the baby, there is no fucking way Iâm going to stop talking to you.... â He finished.Â
I tried to gather my sense which felt like theyâd been scattered to the seven winds.Â
âReally, you talk about your fiancee so flippantly....but I heard you had a cozy little honeymoon in Seoul during your showcase...what of that?â I hated myself as soon as I said it because it made sound so horribly jealous.Â
Jungkook snorted.
âLet me guess, Hobi hyung told you that huh? I bet he conveniently failed to mention that she was attending a different showcase , a whole damn district away? That we only went out for dinner one night and I was back in like an hour?âÂ
I stared at him, thrown . I felt confused and disoriented, not sure what was happening and why.
This had gone on long enough.Â
I could not let this man do this to me. I just couldnât.Â
âYour parents met me again.â i said softly, staring right at him. â They wanted me to sign the NDA. Did you tell them this? Can you go tell them this? Go break up with your fiancee, tell your daddy you want to date the girl you knocked up while you were drunk out of your mind. And then, once he disowns you and kicks you out of your house and you have nowhere else to go, come see me. Weâll go out on a date, yeah?âÂ
I waited for him to respond but he didnât. So I stood up. I slung my bag up on my shoulders and stared down at him.Â
âIâm meeting them on Saturday. If you want to be there, you can. And regardless of whether you turn up or not...Iâm going. Iâm giving the baby up for adoption and Iâm getting on with my life. â I said quietly.Â
I walked out of the cafe without looking back.Â
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yoongi sat across from me, hands twisting nervously in his lap while Namjoon poured us some water from the cut class decanter on the table. Next to me, Jungkook looked subdued and upset, eyes darting between the two men on occasion. I hadnât talked to him after my outburst at the cafe
I peered around the house, an expensive three bedroom flat located in a good neighborhood. It was decorated tastefully and I could tell that even Jungkook was reluctantly impressed by how clean and neat everything looked. I played with the hem of my blouse while Hoseok finished his phone call, not sure what to say or how to start.Â
âHow are you feeling, Dasom?â Namjoon asked finally, flashing me a smile with deep dimples on either cheeks.Â
âIâm doing good. Iâm fourteen weeks along now and the nausea has gone down.âÂ
Yoongi hummed.
âMy sister says the first three months are the worst.â He smiled a little and I smiled back, taking in the soft curves of his face and the nervous fingers on the lap. He looked just as terrified as I felt.Â
âIâm glad you guys could meet with us. We just want to say that weâre so grateful that you guys even considered us.â Namjoon said in a rush, eyes flooding with warmth as he glanced between me and Jungkook. I felt him stiffen next to me and reached out, curling my fingers around his, pulling him closer. I linked our fingers and squeezed lightly. He squeezed back.Â
âWe only want whatâs best for the baby, right Kook?â I said softly. He looked up at me then and I felt my heart crack at the light sheen I saw there.Â
âYeah...I...I love the baby.â He whispered and I felt a lump in my throat.Â
The past few weeks, I had found myself hanging out with him way too much for my liking. For some reason, Sana stopped talking to me. She would throw occasional glares at me but she stayed away. Jungkook was conspicuously respectful. Never crossing a line enough for me to kick him away. He would throw that occasional remark that implied he was interested and shrug it off when I rejected him again.Â
But he also told me that he had always wanted a family first. A wife, two kids, picket fence and all that. He loved kids, had always been the designated babysitter to his umpteen cousins. He loved babies and he wanted as many as his fututre wife would give him. And then without warning he had just stared at me.
I hadnât trusted myself to respond to that.Â
The mind games left me exhausted. I didnât âŚ.not like him. He was funny , sweet and intelligent. He liked talking and he liked listening. It was just hard to enjoy when I knew what he was . A chaebol heir to a fortune. He spoke of his family with a casually dismissive attitude, about how they didnât really give a damn about who he married and that it wouldn't be a big deal if he broke up with Sana.
But I had to remind myself that he hadnât done it. He hadnât broken up with her. And that meant that no matter how dismissive he was, he knew that something like that wouldnât go by without repercussions. The fantasy of Jungkook leaving his gorgeous girlfriend because he couldnât live without me was just that, a fantasy. Â
Hoseokâs voice broke me out of my reverie.
âTheyâre both too young to go through with this.... Its going to be painful but like Dasom says, its the baby we need to think about.â Hoseok had hung up the phone and he stared at Jungkook, his gaze softening when he saw how miserable the younger looked.Â
I pulled myself together and watched Namjoon pull out a file, containing all the formalities we would have to go through. /As i heard him explain everything, his eyes clear and intelligent, his tone gentle and kind, I felt myself making my choice. Yoongi and Namjoon loved each other deeply . They leaned on each other, evident in the way they held hands every few minutes, smiling and reassuring each other. They loved each other and they could love this baby.Â
They would love this baby.Â
My mind was made up.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
âYou need a ride home?â Hoseok asked casually, two hours later after we had bid goodbye to Yoongi and Namjoon.Â
Next to me Jungkook stiffened.Â
âIâll drive her.â He said curtly and Hoseok ignored him, still holding a hand out.
âThatâs fine Oppa, Jungkook and I need to talk.â I said tiredly. We did. There was a whole lot of formalities to be done with regards to the adoption and I wanted to talk to him about the possibility of an open adoption. Just in case he was interested.Â
âYou can talk tomorrow. Its already past ten-â Hoseok began but Jungkook laughed, loud and jarring.Â
âWhat you think Iâll have my way with her and knock her up? Bit too late to worry about that right?â Jungkook drawled next to me and I felt my eyes widen in shock.
âWhat the- Jungkook are you crazy? Apologize!!â I hissed but he glared back at Hoseok defiantly.
Hobi chuckled a bit.
âYouâre really asking to get your ass kicked Kook-ah... Iâd tone down the blatant disrespect if I were you....â He said , eyes narrowed dangerously.Â
âMaybe I will, if you stop lying to Dasom about how you really feel about her.â
I lost it entirely, turning around to shove him away.
âJungkook what the fuck?!â I shouted but he gripped my wrists, stopping me from hitting him again.Â
âTell her hyung....tell her how you picked up a fucking engagement ring in Seoul....? How you told Seokjin hyung that you were going to propose when she graduates because, let me quote you, â sheâs docile and adjusting. Sheâll make a nice companionââ
I froze. I turned around to stare at Hoseok and felt my heart drop at the sharp sharp look of guilt om his face.
I stopped struggling against Jungkook, sagging against him when ice cold disbelief flooded my veins.Â
No. No , it couldnât be. Â
âYou-what?â  I whispered.Â
Hoseok stared at me.Â
â Donât tell me you didnât see it coming.â He said blankly. I felt bile rise up my throat.Â
âOppa-â
âDonât fucking call me that.â Hoseok snapped.Â
I flinched when Jungkookâs grip tightened around me , a growl making his chest tremble.Â
âHyung , donât-â He began angrily but Hoseok cut him off, staring at me with blazing eyes.Â
âYouâre always around me ..â Hoseok ground out, â Youâre literally the only person Iâve known and loved all my life.... So sue me for wanting to take responsibility for you and-â
âIâm not your responsibility.....Iâm twenty years old...â
âAnd look how well youâre doing yeah? Knocked up with some guyâs bastard .....Just like your moth-â
I felt Jungkook move behind me and my instinct kicked in. I turned quickly gripping his arms and putting myself between them to stop him from lunging at Hoseok.Â
Hoseok looked unapologetic as he stared at me.Â
âIf you marry me, youâll at least be respectable.â He said softly and it was like a veil getting torn, showing him for who he really was.Â
Someone who thought I was a charity case. A poor , flailing mess of a human that needed his charity to survive.Â
I nodded quietly.Â
âOkay. Thank you for lowering yourself enough to consider marriage with someone like me....â I said softly and he hissed.
âThatâs not what I-â
âThatâs exactly what you meant.â I said sharply, turning around. I couldnât look at him anymore.
âTake me back to the dorms, yeah?â I looked at Jungkook and he nodded.
âAnything you want.â He whispered, wrapping his arms around me before throwing one last glare at Hoseok.Â

June Contest Submission #4: Flash Point
Words: ca. 5,500 Setting: mAU Lemon: yes CW: swearing, alcohol consumption, mentions of hunting, weed, tobacco
Why was it so damn hot?
The Sun bore down with unusual cruelty, and the air was so heavy it felt damp against her skin, too thick to breathe, and if the dog at the other end of the leash she was holdingâs panting was anything to go by, Anna was not alone in her feeling. They hadnât even gone far, yet the Vizsla was pulling towards a shaded patch of grass and plopping down with a little whine.Â
âIâm not carrying you home, so you better hurry before it gets really hot,â she grumbled. On the other hand she couldnât exactly blame him. Sheâd spent the last five years studying abroad, two years in Oslo and three at Uppsala University. The Scandinavian Summers were comparatively cool and mild when contrasted to the hot, humid Summers so typical of the Eastern part of the North American continent. Her dog was born in Europe, and at the ripe old age of 3, had quite literally never known such high temperatures.Â
âTĹąz, fot!âÂ
The dog lifted his head to look at her then let out a noise of complaint before he got up and very slowly made his way to a heel position, looking forlorn. She chuckled a little at how dramatic he was being and gave him a gentle pat.Â
âDuktig hund!â
A crown of dew formed around her temples and coated her shoulders and her neck. Given it was only 8:30 am, she dreaded to think what the rest of the day would be like. At least, she figured, her parents and the rest of her family likely wouldnât want to leave the cool respite of the central AC.
She quickened her step at the prospect, hurrying back to the modest house her sister had began renting sometime after Anna had left for Europe. As much as she adored her parents, sheâd been overjoyed when Elsa asked her to stay with her, and sheâd been eager to make up for lost time. Of all the things sheâd missed while studying, her older sister was what sheâd missed most, leading her to question whether it was possible to be homesick for a person.
As she walked through the door, she found Elsa in the kitchen, frantically shoving a granola bar into her bag, along with a sandwich and some gatorade. Without looking up, she reached for her car keys and brushed passed Anna, only pausing briefly to kiss her forehead and mumble âgood morningâ which immediately drew a smile on Annaâs lips.
âGot everything?â
âYeah I think I left most of TĹązâs stuff in the car.âÂ
âAlright, letâs go.âÂ
-x.x.x-
The drive to their parents place was a little over 20 minutes, but fortunately brought Elsa a little closer to the work errands she had ro run that day. Anna was a little bummed she wouldnât be spending most of the day with her, but took comfort in the fact sheâd come join them as soon as possible. Her eyes studied the edges of Elsaâs cheekbones, admiring her chiseled features, and the way the stray strands of blond escaping from her messy braid framed her face. Anna hoped that she had thought of applying sunscreen before leaving, though she somehow doubted it, given how hectic sheâd been just before theyâd left.
âIs it okay if I donât take you all the way down?â
Pulled out of her reverie, it took her a moment to process the meaning of the question, until she remembered her older sister was referring to the downhill driveway that led to their parentâs house.Â
âOh sure! I forgot how tricky it is to turn around and come back up from there.âÂ
âHow could you forget you very nearly wrecked the paint job on dadâs brand spanking new car?â
Anna cringed with embarrassment at the memory, but a reassuring ruffling of her hair cued her in on the affectionate nature of the teasing. The car stopped and Elsa turned to face her with a soft smile.
âIâll try to be quick ok? Iâll text you as soon as I know when I can come meet you.â
âOkay, Iâm pretty sure we arenât going very far in this weather anyhow.â
The carâs thermometer indicated an outside temperature of 37°C at the moment and she had a sense the felt temperature would only get worse. She grimaced, until Elsa reached over to hug her. She twisted in her seat, reaching to embrace her, leaning in to give her a quick peck on the cheek, only to find they were both leaning in the same direction with the same idea. She readjusted, and so did Elsa, so they both course corrected once more, this time fully confident that sheâd accomplish her task at hand. In their hurry to affectionately see each other off, the momentum theyâd gained was too strong to brake, and somehow they both landed smack dab in the middle, their lips colliding in a soft peck.
Anna felt a little spark and let out a giggle, shared by Elsa who immediately looked up at the ceiling of her car, mortified, but unable to shake the wry smile of amusement.
âNothing like a little accidental incest to get your day going huh?â
She shook her head and reached up to tuck a strand of hair back behind Elsaâs ear, shrugging nonchalantly, genuinely amused because what else could you do at such a ridiculous situation? An accidental kiss, with her older sister warranted laughs, and she was sure the rest of the family would find it hilarious when sheâd tell them.
âItâs just like that Folgers commercial: the best part of wakinâ up, is incest in your cup.âÂ
There was a glint of mischievous amusement in her eye, in spite of the sheepish grin, almost apologetic for what she had just said (rather than what she had done).
âDear lord, Anna, just take your dog and go. At the very least this day can only improve as Iâve just hit rock bottom.âÂ
Doing as she was told, she got out of the car, retrieving her dog from the back seat along with their belongings before she turned to Elsa, offering her a bright smile, the hint of a smirk still lingering in amusement.Â
âBye, I love you, drive safely!âÂ
âI love you too, see you later.â
She watched as the car pulled back up to the top of the hill, waiting for it to disappear, just long enough to feel the weight of the heat begin to crush her, Sun searing her skin with eager malice. Anna turned to look downwards, recognizing the solar panels on either side of the roof, and the glass roof of the integrated green house. It felt so familiar to her, and as she walked towards it, it gave her a sense of comfort even if it no longer really was home.Â
Subconsciously she reached up with her fingertips tracing her lower lip where the ghostly sensation of the peck crackled with electricity, forcing a little quirk of her mouth as the thought of it tickled her. How funny, she pondered, that sheâd felt more from an accidental kiss with her sister than sheâd had the last time sheâd kissed someone. If that wasnât the most obvious indicator of lack of chemistry, she didnât know what was!
Knocking on the door she couldnât wait to catch her parents up on this, tell them about the mishap, and couldnât wait to see who amongst their relatives would have joined them for Annaâs welcoming home party.Â
However, when her mother opened the door and embraced her tight, prompting excited tail wags and jumping from her dog, and asking her how she was, Anna found herself unable to speak it, suddenly second-guessing whether Elsa would appreciate her telling them, and wondering if it would come across as weird after all, rather than strictly funny. She couldnât shake the feeling, and wasnât sure why.
A while later, the moment had passed with relentless overthinking on her part and even still as she drank coffee and ate croissants with her mother, father, her uncle and her cousin, the sensation of the spark lingered on her lips, leaving her flustered with butterflies at the thought of her older sisterâs mouth.Â
That thought was soon cast aside however as her dog tried climbing into her lap which prompted her uncle to ask her about him.
âWhat kind of dog is that?â
Though the breed was becoming more prevalent in North America and increasingly popular with hunters it wasnât quite as well spread in Canada as it was in the USA.Â
âTĹąz is a Vizsla.â
âGesundheit.âÂ
She rolled her eyes, wanting to correct
âItâs a Hungarian Pointer breed. Pretty ancient, excellent and versatile gun dogs. I had him evaluated by a trainer in Sweden who said he was a natural bird dog. His name means âfireâ, in Hungarian.âÂ
Even as she was listing out her boyâs illustrious origins she figured it likely sounded just the slightest bit improbable to her uncle Frederic, given how said majestic hunter was currently curled up in her lap with his front paws on her shoulders.Â
âHuh. Yâknow nothing beats a good Lab in my opinion but he sure is cute. He even looks like you, redhead and all!â
âYâhear that? Uncle Fred thinks youâre cute! Donât tell him you could outrun his lab in upland hunting any day.â
She turned to give her dog a little kiss on the cheek, but her mind immediately went back to the tingling she felt there, which seemed to amplify as she replayed the earlier moment with Elsa in her head, from start to finish. Her kopfkino was overshadowed with a much more pressing sense of dread however, when she heard her fatherâs warm voice cheerfully ask:
âAlright, whoâs ready to rock and roll?âÂ
-x.x.x-
Though Anna had been distinctly less than thrilled at the prospect of going back out into the the fiery pits of hell her hometown had become, she took some consolation in the fact they were headed to her favourite, fully air conditioned lake front eatery. To sweeten the deal, TĹąz had been so charming and well behaved, the staff didnât question his coming in, and he immediately laid down under the table as he had been taught to do.Â
The plan had been to eat first then head out to the beach for a swim. Of course no one had informed her prior so she hadnât brought along a swimsuit, and she did her best to eat her lunch as slowly as possible. Sheâd failed to do the same with her drink though, the thirst was real and the long island iced tea was sweet. It had taken everything in her power not to text Elsa so as not to bother her (and avoid looking like the clingy younger sister sheâd always worried she came across as).Â
Trying to ignore her phone as she shared anecdotes and tidbits of her time spent overseas, she almost missed the notification from her older sister.
Hey, Iâm close to finishing up here. Where did you guys end up going?
Mid-sentence, Anna interrupted herself to focus on typing back a quick response.Â
Weâre at The Captainâs Favourite, weâre almost done eating then weâre going swimming. Meet us at Faux Fjord Beach?
Awesome Iâll be there in about 15ish. Btw can you get me one of their Vodka Lemonade Slushies? Please and thank you! Canât wait to get hammered on the beach and finally catch up with you ;* ( <- fully intentional, not accidental incest this time)
Anna blushed the slightest bit at the emoji, subconsciously biting her lip as it tingled again, and she giggled at the joke initially. At the very least, it was reassuring to know she hadnât been the only one to think about their silly little incident this morning.Â
Omg I forgot this place did frozen cocktails, thatâs an amazing fucking idea. Same tho, canât wait! See you soon <3 (not sure thatâs legal)
âSo Anna, are you going to tell us about your boyfriend?â
Her eyes shot up from her phone to find her cousin Rapunzel with an eyebrow quirked and a knowing smirk, along with the rest of her family looking at her expectantly.
âMy what?â
âGirlfriend? Whoever that was that just texted you! Clearly youâve been holding out on us because dang girl, youâve got it bad.â
Anna stifled the urge to grab her glass of water and toss it at her cousinâs face, force of habit from their youthful roughhousing days. The cycle of merciless teasing and correspondent indignation was just as part of being home as the rest.Â
âChrissake no that was Elsa! I was laughing at one of her stupid jokes, she was asking where to meet us.âÂ
Unimpressed green eyes looked at her with skepticism, unconvinced that Anna was telling the truth. Her first impulse was to show her the text exchange to prove it, but she then realized that the out of context inside joke would land with the current audience.Â
âCâmon, the girlish giggling? The lip biting? The blushing?â
Her ears felt hot and a flash of defensiveness flared up within her but she exerted just enough self-control not to throw herself into an argument about wrongful perception. Instead she pointedly ignored that line of questioning and relayed her older sisterâs message to the rest of their family.
âShe said sheâd be here in 15 minutes, and I told her to meet us down by the beach.âÂ
A familiar, warm, curious little head poked out from under the table, golden eyes round and hopeful.
âI said beach, not bitch.â
Laughter erupted around her and she let out a quiet sigh of relief under her breath, patting her dog softly as she leaned backwards sinking into the booth seat.Â
-x.x.x-
Anna was looking out at the water with a slightly forlorn expression, watching her dog swim out to her folks, then back to the shore on a loop of manic joy, wishing she could join them. Alas, with no bathing suit the best she could do was tie up her tank top, sitting in her daisy dukes under the sunshade, though she licked her wounds by sipping on the Bourbon Peach Lemonade Slushie sheâd ordered.Â
When a pair of arms embraced her from behind, nonchalantly sliding over her shoulders she immediately perked up at the recognition of the familiar scent that accompanied them. Before she could say anything however, Elsa was kissing the side of her cheek (successfully this time), and her heart skipped a beat as she smiled in response.
âHey, didnât feel like swimming?â
Anna turned to look as her sister sat down beside her, scooting into the shade, though not before her eye had caught sight of the dew on her skin betraying the heat. It was a little nicer on the lake, a pleasant breeze kept it from feeling completely unbearable, but still it would have been so much better if she couldâve gone swimming.
âNo one informed me either, remember? Didnât bring my bathing suit.âÂ
Reaching for Elsaâs drink which she managed to time almost perfectly before her arrival, she handed it over and took another sip from her own, her ears twitching slightly at the sound of the crushed ice compacting with the liquid.Â
âThanks,â was the murmured acknowledgement.
âGuess that means youâre stuck drinking with me.â
Her sister reached up to ruffle her auburn hair affectionately and Anna raised her mason jar with a smug little smirk showing that she was already well under way.Â
âWay ahead of you, youâre gonna be playing catch up now.âÂ
âHm is that a challenge or a warning?âÂ
Elsaâs tone sounded playful but her polarized aviator-style sunglasses hid the extent of her expression, making it somewhat unreadable. Anna shrugged, starting.
âWell if you arenât a coward, itâs- ah!âÂ
She shrieked as she felt sharp, cutting cold against her bared shoulder. Glancing over, she saw that Elsa had pressed her still perfectly icy lemonade against her skin, amusement curling her mouth as she took her first gulp through the bendy straw. Annaâs resent at the sudden cold melted like⌠well, snow in the sun as she noted the genuine mirth in her sisterâs mischievous gesture and the way her perfect, bow-shaped lips wrapped around the straw.
âDonât get cocky, getting hammered was my idea remember? Iâm gonna see it through.âÂ
Anna had scoffed but been unable to respond anything right away, instead distracted by the way the unruly strands of platinum that pried themselves loose from Elsaâs braid either floated softly, or stuck to the gentle sheen of her neck. Unable to resist the urge to try and tuck them back at times, it earned her an easy, quick smile whenever she did.
Theyâd remained mostly in comfortable silence, Anna stealing glances at Elsaâs exquisite face, trying to guess her expression behind the glasses she wore, studying how much she had changed, and it what was she was still identical to the way she remembered her. She wondered if her older sister was in any way aware of the stunning beauty she was.Â
If they spoke, it was with a mixture of familiarity and uncertainty, like they were both re-learning to speak each otherâs language without having ever really left one another. In truth, even before sheâd gone to study abroad, It hadnât always been easy for Anna to read her older sister, penetrate through the wall of ice she guarded herself with. And yet, she had never felt like she was being treated with anything besides love and tenderness. She relished in the small touches, the tactile displays of adoration she had missed so dearly from her and marvelled at how ravishing and confident she managed to look with such a simple and laidback style. The ripped jeans, beater-boy tank top and the shades were achingly cool and suited her all too well.Â
She knew their parents were overly proud of her for getting a fancy degree overseas, and that they generally avoided discussing Elsaâs lack of direction in life. It didnât matter one bit to Anna, she would always look up to and admire her older sister, maybe even more so because in spite of her struggles sheâd managed to gain her independence.Â
A brush of the hand against her shoulder, a gentle stroke in the nook of her palm. Fingertips brushing her hair out into her back. Fuck, while she hadnât been isolated the whole time she was away and had her share of memorable trysts, this kind of intimacy sent pleasant tingles down her spine, and she only just realized now how much sheâd missed it. It made her own fingers twitch with the need to touch, to stroke, to hold but she kept her foot on the pedal, once again afraid of coming across as clingy.Â
When they had found the bottoms of their drinks, likely far too quickly for the amount of alcohol that were mixed in, Anna was resting her head on her older sisterâs shoulder. Elsa had turned around to rummage through her bag, before handing Anna a bottle of spray-on sunscreen.Â
âReally? Iâd like to remind you I tan m-more easily than youâŚâÂ
Elsa laughed at that point and shook her head, reaching for Annaâs free hand with her own and giving it an affectionate little squeeze.Â
âThatâs the point, I want you to put some on my back, you know Iâm old and crunchy and cannot reach for shit.âÂ
She snatched it out of her sisterâs hand and scoffed.
âFirstly, shut up, youâre not old, you have a good two years of immortality left ahead of you.âÂ
Popping off the lid she shook the bottle as per the instructions on the label before. It felt slippery with her palms so sweaty, matching the rest of her bodyâs glow. While the drink had been refreshing on the way down, she regretted the way the alcohol made her skin flush and feel hot at this point.Â
âSecondly, lie down, donât make this harder than it has to be.â
âOverheard in the town of Arundel. Out of context sisters.â
She felt like an idiot for laughing, but she couldnât help that Elsa got her sense of humour so well and threw zinger after zinger about this since that very morning. Anna then waited for her to lay down on her stomach over the giant beach towel that had served as a makeshift picnic blanket.Â
Her heart felt suddenly a little more forceful as it beat faster in her chest when she looked down at the exposed shoulder blades and lower back revealed by the hiked up shirt. Her mouth felt strangely dry and she didnât for a second question the notion of finding Elsa genuinely gorgeous as she began to spray the solar protection onto the pale, fair, just barely freckled skin.Â
Not wanting to hurt or surprise her, she very gingerly began rubbing to spread it more evenly. It soon became clear however that from this angle she wouldnât be able to get the coverage the lotion needed in order to be effective. She swallowed quickly and subconsciously wet her lower lip with her tongue. Her head started racing as thoughts swirled in her head and she felt almost feverish. She knew sheâd be better off straddling Elsa to apply the lotion properly, and she knew it was no big deal, yet still felt she should ask before doing so. On the other hand, asking might make it weird, and while they were enjoying their running gag from earlier this morning, this was a whole new level.Â
God. Was she really overthinking helping her sister to put on protective sun lotion? This was fucking ridiculous.Â
Buck up, or shut up.
Finally getting over herself, she swung her leg up, straddling Elsaâs thighs, trying to watch for any signs of discomfort as she went to work.Â
âMh, do you mind pressing a little harder against my lower back? Cause that feels really nice.â
Elsaâs skin was already damp, but somehow mixing it with the sunscreen made it feel silky, rather than sticky to the touch and Anna obliged, hoping she wouldnât lose track of where sheâd already rubbed, or that the sweat beading at her own crown wouldnât start dripping down on her sister because the thoughts and implications there were maybe a little bit much, even for her. Yet the more she spread out her touch, the more she thought about their earlier text exchange, suddenly fixating on the parenthesis and the emoji, and the accidental kiss and⌠truly the unbearably hot weather was getting to her head and sheâd have half a brain cell to be convinced she had a fever.Â
âLeave some for yourself, in spite of what you think you still need to protect yourself too. Iâll even return the favour.âÂ
Anna gulped, almost audibly.
Miles away clouds gathered hanging heavy and jealously holding the crushing humidity hostage, unbeknownst to them which in turn only cranked up the heat Anna was struggling with being subjected to. It created a restless tension within her, an unconscious anticipation.Â
-x.x.x-
The rest of the afternoon and evening Anna had been torn between the trepidation of going back to Elsaâs (their) place, and the secure comfort of her parents home. Sheâd avoided her cousinâs exacting questions about her European paramours and at dinner had been unable to focus on conversation as sheâd felt Elsaâs occasional touch. The brush of her ankle against her leg, the innocent stroke of her hand on her side when sheâd reach over for something on the table.Â
Sheâd told herself she was just exhausted from the heat and stimulation and simply wanted to get back to an environment where she could decompress.
And while it was true a huge part of her stress was lifted the moment theyâd arrived back at Elsaâs (their) place, the excitement of being alone together crackled with an unfamiliar weight in the air. TĹąz had gone immediately to plop down in the love seat closest to the AC unit and almost instantly had began to snore.Â
Elsa had dropped her keys on the kitchen counter, grabbing a pair of beers from the fridge, handing one to Anna before sheâd walked towards the kitchen door leading to the patio.
âI packed a bowl this morning if you want. Just gonna have a quick smoke.âÂ
Anna had nodded and gone to sit down on the couch, feeling weirdly tense, shaking a little as sheâd reached for the glass pipe on the coffee table and the lighter next to it. She put a flame to it, igniting the smoke and breathing it in deeply, hoping it would help ease the knot in her stomach. The entire day had passed and yet, whenever she thought of the accidental kiss theyâd shared this morning, the spark still felt vivid, like the simple thought was enough to reignite the sensation. She couldnât remember sharing an intentional, yet alone an accidental kiss with anyone else that left the same imprint. She wanted to ask Elsa if it was the same for her, if the element of surprise was simply being mistaken by her mind and body for excitement.
After all, this was her sister. It couldnât possibly mean anything else. The idea of it being anything more was preposterous and inconceivable. Right?
But when Elsa returned with the smell of tobacco mingling into her natural scent, and the woody notes of her perfume, mixed into a sweet, soothing and⌠attractive blend, Anna could only move towards her as she sat on the couch and looked up at her, a sleepy smile hiding the slight trembling in the rest of her body.Â
When she felt two hands cradle the sides of her face, her whole body went tense. Elsaâs icy gaze burned down into her eye and Annaâs breath caught in her throat, her heart pounding so hard she could feel it at the edge of her lips. She dared not twitch a muscle as the moment lingered and Elsaâs thumbs stroked her cheekbones with a heartbreaking gentleness.Â
A strike of lightning flashed outside, quickly succeeded by a crack of thunder.
Annaâs eyes closed as she felt soft, pink, perfect lips against her own, and her mouth parted invitingly on instinct as she leaned forward. The fever, the restlessness, the mania that had built up throughout the day exploded as torrential rains beat down against the window pain, and Anna pressed her upper body into Elsa, her hands finding the edges of her tank top, savouring the taste of her, especially as she suckled at the tip of her tongue.Â
Quiet gasps and sharp, shallow moans floated between them, and she hungrily kissed her back, nails scratching at the now exposed skin of her sacral area. She hooked her fingertips in the fabric of her shirt pushing it up with an urgency that was perhaps borne out of the clamour of the formidable display from the heavens outside. Though sheâd have been lying to herself if sheâd said it wasnât also spurred on by the clenching sheâd felt in her own lower belly any time sheâd thought of her sisterâs mouth against hers that day.Â
She broke the kiss, though not before sheâd given Elsa a little nip of the teeth to her lower lip, and only long enough to hurriedly discard both of their shirts, giving her a coy, heavily lidded glance as she noticed her older sisterâs gaze on her now exposed, freckled breasts and pert nipples. Sheâd not been wearing a bra because, well, it had been too hot, and she could in fact get away with it.Â
Confidently, Anna reached for the nape of Elsaâs neck giving it a littler squeeze to bring her back to herself immediately sliding her tongue between her lips. Her other hand caressed her side, the expanse of her stomach then travelling to the fabric of her bra. Meanwhile she produced little mewls of pleasure as she felt her sisterâs hands cup her breasts hungrily and she shifted her position without missing a beat, pulling her down with her as she laid back on the couch, legs falling open, needing to feel the weight of her ribcage between her thighs.Â
The hand sheâd held the back of Elsaâs neck with began flirting with the damp, soft skin and toying with the stray platinum coloured baby hairs. She felt Elsa shudder above her and felt her hand wrap around her wrist, pinning it above her head, which elicited a moan from Anna. Her hips rolled upwards and she felt instant frustration from the denim creating an unwelcome barrier between them and she wished it gone.
Her wish was apparently Elsaâs telepathic command.Â
Before she knew it they were squirming out of their respective skin tight denims with the clumsiness only eager urgency could bring. Her heart was thrumming to the relentless and unforgiving rhythm of the raging elements, and as her fingertips brushed against Elsaâs pulse, she knew hers was beating in time with them too. Chills went down her back at the thought of it and she left the harbour of her sisterâs mouth to find that same point to the side of Elsaâs throat, kissing and nipping at it, causing their hips to connect frantically. One of her hands was still pinned above her head and her eyes burned with tantric desire as she looked up at Elsa, features magnified and deified each time the lightning flashed out of the living room window.Â
Anna let out a whine as she felt Elsaâs free hand slide between their two bodies, slick with sweat now and she knew she was blushing when she felt just how wet she was once her sisterâs finger parted her folds, the heel of her palm teasing against the engorged bundle of nerves at the apex of her sex. Her hips bucked upwards with need, both in shock of the sensation and in desperation for more.Â
Eyes flew shut as Elsa now pressed her own hips against her hand, creating a firm inescapable pressure against Annaâs bud, and her finger pumping deep inside of her.Â
âFuck!â
It was not so much exclaimed as it had been hissed as Annaâs entire body rocked into Elsa, fingertips now tugging more firmly at the blonde roots sheâd been gripping, as if clearly communicating she wanted her right there, and no further, desperate to feel her as close as possible, feel their nipples brushing against one another, bodies ravenously hungry for each other.Â
They found a rhythm though it started off hot, frantic and messy and they found themselves pressed forehead against forehead, mouths slightly agape in the beatitude of sin, and the unbridled lusts of their animalistic pursuit. Thrust upon thrust, roll upon roll of the hips, caused electricity to spark and course through the burning of her lower stomach, tensing and clenching as she felt herself flutter against the welcomed intrusion of Elsaâs touch. Her nervous system pulsated it seemed with the same electricity that ravaged the outside world, protecting rather than threatening their unspeakable passions.Â
âElsa,â she breathed almost pleadingly as she felt a storm building inside of her, one to rival the majesty of the the fierce Summer storm rattling the windows with a reckless force.
âAnna,â was the sultry, husky reply. And not that she had any way of knowing this prior to that particular moment, but she could tell that Elsa was on the edge, just as close as she was, possibly closer. Her thighs squeezed harder around her sisterâs hips, ankles locking together to keep her even closer than what was thought possible until that point.Â
She could feel it tugging at her loins almost painfully now and she dug her nails into her own palm, the sting and bite of the pain cracking her closer.Â
They cried out in unison as their climaxes crested in synchronicity, but the sounds were drowned out by an emphatic strike of thunder, so loud they couldâve sworn the house shook were it not that their own bodies were sent into a shaking mess of trembling frenzy. Overwhelmed and needing to channel it somehow as lightning and fireworks exploded in her mindâs eye their lips met into another electric, full mouthed kiss.Â
Waves of pleasure crashed over them, unrelenting until they could take it no more, the tension evaporating as they fell limp, heart to heart breathing tickling each otherâs ears, the sensation of which enough to titillate them into wanting to continue.Â
Exhausted, Anna buried her face in the nook of Elsaâs neck, breathing in her sent deeply. Though driven by post-coital bliss, at the back of her mind a dark cloud gathered, fear attempted to bubble up, trying to ruin the glow. She nuzzled Elsa softly, kissing the sweat covered skin, humming gently at the taste as she deliberately avoided thinking about the mess they had made.Â
They had a lifetime ahead of them for her to process the guilt and the shame. Or unpack the fact she did not feel any regret in the immediate aftermath of the unspeakable.
My God, what had they done?

he always found it cute how deep your blush would get whenever he called you his star. even more so when he would refer to you as his sun.Â
granted, you arenât dating. just friends, best friends. best friends who knew each other since high school and kept in touch despite both your hectic schedules as university students. as you watch the snow gently falling through a window, youâre taken back to the memories, bitter and sweet, that come along with winter.
you start to remember your first heartbreak...
it didnât take long for him to realize what was happening, as you barely held a smile when you walked in the gym. he saw the first signs of pain and disappointment flash through your eyes. he and yamaguchi excused themselves and walked you out the door, and you bursted into tears.
he let you cling onto him as you blabbered on about how the person you were dating dumped you out of nowhere; the freckled boy gently rubbing circles on your back. you went on for a few minutes, explaining everything to your two best friends. yamaguchi went back inside to get you some water when you finally calmed down. you lifted your head from the blondâs chest, sniffling slightly.
tsukishima is awkward when it comes to feelings in general, but that didnât stop him from trying to comfort you after your break up. he draped his volleyball jacket over you, shielding your reddened and puffy face from others. tilting his head, he says, âyou look like an idiot crying over someone who clearly doesnât appreciate you.â
yamaguchi peered out the gym building doors to see you stare up at the blond like he hung the moon in the sky. he knew what you feel for tsukishima, and he made you aware that he was aware. he slowly closed the gym doors, trying not to make any noise, and politely asked yachi and the managers-in-training to subtly guard the door.
the freckled teen has been your biggest supporter from day one, and heâll be damned if anything ruined this moment for you.
he found it cute how you would hide behind your hand whenever youâd try to reassure them both that youâre fine.
...and the first time you saw him shatter.
the whistle blew, and the cheer of the crowd nearly left you deaf. the crowd wasnât cheering for them, though. karasuno lost an important game, and you saw the faces of the team, all looked so heartbroken. you couldnât blame them, they worked so hard and-
if thereâs one thing you take pride in, is knowing what either of your best friends are feeling. yamaguchi has tears in his eyes while tsukishima⌠his face is void of emotion, but you can see the pain and guilt flickering in his eyes. you can feel it in your gut that heâs blaming himself.Â
you ran down the flight of stairs just in time to see the team exit into the main lobby. you glanced at your green haired friend first, who then nodded at you, telling you he was alright. you turned to tsukishima, and promptly held out a hand. he paused, his golden-brown eyes swept across your face then to your outstretched hand. you swear you could hear the gears turning in his head as he weighed his options.Â
the blond gingerly took your hand in his and let you drag him somewhere secluded, somewhere youâre both positive no one would come across by accident. âitâs not your fault.â you said, slightly squeezing his hand. he was looking anywhere but you.
he sputtered out, âif i had blocked it properly then-âÂ
âyou managed to slow it down, which gave karasuno a fighting chance. kei,â his eyes snapped up to meet yours, an unreadable expression graced his features. it was so uncommon for either of you to use each otherâs birth names despite being so close.Â
âkei, itâs not your fault.â your voice softened, and he felt his walls break. tears glistened his eyes, which he hastily blinked away. you slowly took off his glasses, hooked them at the collar of your shirt, and placed your free hand on the back of his neck. he dropped his head on the crook of your neck, and took a deep breath.Â
one of the things he appreciated at that moment is how you never mentioned the tears you felt hit your skin, or the broken sobs you heard escape his lips. you didnât even mention how he trembled in your arms as he let out his frustration, anger, guilt, painâ his everything. you held him together as he slowly fell apart. âiâm sorryâ he muttered.
you let out a chuckle. âif youâre apologizing for displaying emotions, iâm taking out your kneecaps.âÂ
you beamed a bright smile up at him as he pulled away. he let you clean his face with a handkerchief, and place his glasses back on his face for him. tsukishima ruffled your hair, and led you both back to the bus where the rest of the team were waiting for the both of you.
he found it cute how you tried extra hard to cheer him and yamaguchi up. that, and how you never pulled your hand away from his.
your mind drifted to the time you first felt your heart skip a beat because of him.
two of you were stupid and young, and you somehow managed to convince tsukishima to go on a little trip with you. it was spontaneous, and unfortunately, yamaguchi was sick, but he made you promise to buy everything that reminded you of him; not that he needed to, you were planning to do just that. you three have your licenses, but you decided to use tsukishimaâs car as it was more spacious, leaving both of you a lot of room to lay back and sleep.Â
you both didnât have plans on where to go, your recklessness speaking to him that you both âshould let fate decide where the road will take youâ.Â
the road led you to a small village, celebrating a local festival. you remember being so excited that you dragged him to every historical building, every booth that peaked your interest. a narrow stone path at the edge of the village led to a small flower field on a small cliff, one you took great pleasure in being.Â
he picked a dainty, yellow flower and placed it in your ear. âthere,â he whispers, and your breath catches in your throat. your heart is pounding in your ears as you silently prayed to any and every divine being that the moonlight is dim enough for the blush in your cheeks to go unnoticed. after what seems like both seconds and hours, he says the only thing that could ruin the moment.
ânow the bees will go after you.â
you huffed out, hitting him in the arm as you hear him laugh. âi canât believe you.âÂ
his laughter died down as he spots a firefly come towards you. he saw how your entire face brightened up as you watched the insect carefully, completely mesmerised as more flew around you. âhey, what do you think of me calling you âhotaruâ instead of âkeiâ?âÂ
âi would leave your ass here, and you can either walk home, or hitchhike.â tsukishima grumbles, but there was absolutely no malice or harshness in his voice; a tone he subconsciously reserves for you. he felt his heart stop at the sound of your laughter in his ears.Â
âyou wouldnât dare, tsukishima kei.â
of course he wouldnât leave one of his best friends, you both could say that in confidence, but something stirring in his chest tells him that thereâs more than that reason.
the sound of fireworks interrupted both your thoughts, and it was then youâd realize you were staring at him for way too long. you turned your gaze to the firework display that the small village was putting on, but you ended up staring at the features of the blond next to you, who was too preoccupied with watching the show.
you took in every detail of his face, watching the contrast between the moonlight forming shadows on his face and the brief flashes of color illuminating and possibly even making some of his defining features pop out.
as the last of the fireworks died down, he grabbed your hand and let you back to the festival grounds where he bought you your favorite street food. he handed it to you while munching on his own, clearly showing you that heâs eating. you both picked out little trinkets for yourselves and yamaguchi, buying only a few; not wanting to spend most of your money. a little firefly charm caught your eye, but decided against buying it.
hours later, you find yourself waking up in the passenger seat, the sunlight hitting your eyes not too harshly. you turned to the driverâs seat to see the blond groggily open his eyes. he reached out to grab his glasses from the dashboard and turned on the ignition. âletâs go home.â he says, before pulling out of the parking space.Â
the ride was peaceful, you were singing your lungs out to the songs playing; the most you heard from tsukishima is him humming along. he stops by a food truck park on the road and tells you to grab a table while he parks the car.Â
you sat at one of the many empty tables, pulling out your phone. it was seven in the morning on a sunday, normally, both of you would be well asleep at yamaguchiâs place on a normal day.
he jogged to the table and asked you for your order in a fashion a server would. you laughed at the obnoxious voice he made, and told him to get you whatever is cheap.
as he ordered at one of the trucks, you find yourself staring at him again. how royally fucked you are for falling for your best friend. he came back with a tray of two orders of pancakes, both drizzled in syrup with strawberries at the side and two glasses of juice.Â
"don't think about paying me back." he says before you could even open your mouth, giving you a pointed look. there was no point in arguing with a tsukishima kei so early in the morning; you learned how stubborn he could be in one morning during your first year.
you ate breakfast, talking about the festival you both attended the night before, and caught up on each other's lives. it never did occur to either of you that this is the first time you hung out together without the presence of other people, yamaguchi included.
on the way back, you felt yourself succumb to sleep, your head leaning against the passenger side window. tsukishima kept stealing glances at you, and he will take this secret about what he feels for you to the grave; rather choosing to settle as friends than lose you forever.Â
he found you gorgeous in the moonlight, but even more so in the sunlight.
you felt your phone vibrate in your pocket. pulling it out, you see text messages from a certain green-haired friend of yours asking where you were. quickly typing a response, a smile tugging at your lips. it's been more than half a year since you saw tsukishima and yamaguchi, your conflicting schedules made it already hard to talk to each other, and sprinkle in the fact they're both in miyagi and you in tokyo.
you could still hear the fight you had during the first year you left miyagi.
"aren't you tired of this?" he asked.
you scoffed, your grip tightening around your phone. "i'm not the one picking a fight every call."
"you didn't have to leave miyagi. there's universities here that offer your course and-"
groaning, you argued. "there are better opportunities for me here in tokyo. it's not like i'm in another country, tsuki."
this particular fight went on for an hour, maybe two? you can't remember anymore. it was the same argument, over and over again. you know that your friend has major trust issues, and being one of the only people he can open up to, led him to be extremely attached and you fear that you leaving may result in some form of fear of abandonment.Â
you didn't care anymore at this point. you're tired, stressed, and overall not in the mindset to speak to someone, especially someone who just picked fights with you since the start of the academic year.Â
"just stop." you said, the other person on the other end of the line did, mostly because he has never heard that tone from you before.
you sighed, "i know, okay? you have to understand why i chose this, though⌠you know what? i'm tired, i'll just go to sleep. good night."
you hung up before he could get a word in. you hated fighting with him.
tsukishima stared at the phone in his hand, the realization that he may have fucked up whatever relationship you had. he didn't call you or message you back, but it's not because of pride. he knows if you're ready to talk, you will, but that didn't stop him from staring at his screen the entire time while waiting for you to reach out. he prayed that he didn't lose you just like that.
he didn't sleep a wink that night.
the train was nearing your stop, and a familiar sight out the window brought you back to a fond memory.
"star, hand that to me." tsukishima said, holding out his palm, looking at you expectantly.Â
you were nearing graduation, and so you're helping him pack his stuff to move to an apartment that's closer to his university. you stuttered, "star?"Â
he blinked slowly, as if he's processing what he just said, but nodded, "yeah, star. or would you rather have me call you âsunâ?"
you handed him what he was asking for, a grin plastered on your face. "uh, where did that come from?" you asked, genuinely curious about his new nickname for you.
the blond shrugged, turning away from you, silently hoping you wonât see how red his face is. "only fair since you call me 'tsuki'. and i'd rather have you call me 'tsuki' than 'hotaru', which is by the way, an incorrect way-"
he was cut off by you asking a question he never expected from you.
"can i give you a hug?"
you sounded so shy about it as well. he swears he almost feels his heart burst out of his chest. seeing him nod, you launched yourself to him, arms around his torso and your face buried in his back.Â
what a shame you both couldn't see how red the other is.
like a scene from a movie, the moment was interrupted as akiteru knocked on the door, briefly asking if both of you needed help. you detached yourself and politely told the older tsukishima that both of you were fine, and that you'd call him if you ever need help.
as you faced him, the blond practically shoved a little jewelry bag in your hands, telling you to open it. you've always had a knack for accessories, so you excitedly open the bag to see a familiar firefly charm.
"is this-"
"the one at the festival? yeah." he rubbed the back of his neck. "i saw you staring at it, so i thought why not give it to you as a reminder of the festival and a graduation gift."
oh, your poor heart didn't know how to function.Â
tsukishima saw your reaction, and you didn't have to worry about any feelings you can't express. for the first time since you met, he was the one to initiate a hug. you felt his arms wrap around your torso, and you melted into his embrace.Â
he smelt like home. he felt like home.
âtsuki? i think i like âsunâ more.â your voice was gentle, and muffled as your face was against his chest.
he found it cute how despite being friends for so long, you still ask him if he's comfortable with skinship. he's learning, don't worry.
you found yourself, standing on the sidewalk, taking in how different miyagi seemed to look. you gave a cab driver tsukishima's address, as he's the one that hosts you whenever you visit. you entered the building and went up the stairs to his floor. you knew where the spare key is, so you don't have to worry about having to call yamaguchi to let you in. the apartment sounded empty, only the creak of the front door was heard as it echoed against the walls.Â
you locked the door behind you as you took off your shoes, leaving them at a shoe shelf you made for the tall blond. despite living in tokyo, you basically live in his guest room, seeing how you already have clothes in the closets. you set your bags in the room and settled down on the couch as you sent a text message to yamaguchi.
you fiddled with the charm in your bracelet as you read his text.Â
'your loverboy and i are on the way back to the apartment.' it says.
â
tsukishima prided himself in reading people, and he could read his friend walking beside him. it is painfully obvious that he's hiding something.
"don't tell me you proposed to yachi without telling me." he said in a teasing manner, his hands shoved deep in his pockets as he glanced at yamaguchi. the poor guy almost tripped on his two feet. âtsukki! no, i havenât. and if i did, youâd be the first one to know.â
they continued to walk down the familiar path leading to tsukishimaâs apartment, their arms carrying bags of groceries.
âtsuki!â he heard from behind; he braced himself before you launched yourself on his back. he hooked his arms under your legs and continued to walk while giving you a piggyback ride. tsukishima could see your face in his peripheral vision as you propped your head on top of his shoulder.Â
âi bought strawberries.â you said, your breath colliding with the cold winter air produced fog. that fogged up his glasses. you noticed and started laughing, slightly blowing cool air on his glasses to lessen the fogging. he could smell faint traces of hot chocolate in your breath.
he continued carrying you to his apartment complex, where he set you down upon arriving. you tugged at his sleeve, dragging him up the stairs and taking the spare key from where itâs hidden. you went on and on about how youâre going to make the best strawberry shortcake heâs ever had, that you gained favors from people you met at university to help you in making a recipe.
you took over his kitchen that day, only letting him do simple tasks like sifting the ingredients, or preheating the oven. you beamed as you presented the final product to him, gently holding the plate between your hands. tsukishima saw how your eyes sparkled underneath the kitchen lights.
you also took over his heart, unknowingly holding it in your hands.
he found it cute how you get excited about the small things in life.Â
âtsuki!â his eyes widened as he saw you standing in his living room, your smile as bright as heâd always remember. the blond didnât even think twice and set the bags on the floor before enveloping you in a tight hug. he felt another personâs warmth, knowing full well you pulled in yamaguchi into the hug.
you released them from your hug as you said, âi canât believe itâs been so long.âÂ
âthatâs because of your busy schedule.â the freckled man flicked your forehead. you felt his piercing gaze at you, and he hasnât even said a word.
âwell, sunshine, when did you get here? why didnât you call either of us to pick you up?â he nagged, but all you could feel was your heart stuttering in your chest at the nickname he rarely used for you.Â
you babbled on about when you got here and why you didnât tell him (he gave yamaguchi a look after hearing that he knew you were coming) as you made yourself feel at home. and you are home.
yamaguchi will never tell anyone how you looked at the blond with stars in your eyes, or how tsukishima looked at you like you are the light of his life.
the two men aided you in making your shortcake, with them doing the more tiresome tasks. the comfort of each other's presence in tsukishima's small kitchen is enough for all three of you.
you decided to watch a movie while waiting for the cake to cool down. the younger male excused himself as his phone started to ring in the middle of the first half, leaving you and the blond in the living room. he peeked back in a few minutes later, informing you both that his girlfriend needs to get picked up.
you felt your heart race as you continued to watch the movie, the literal love of your life just within arms reach. he looped his arm around your shoulder, your breath stuttering. tsukishima then retracted his arm, now holding the bowl of popcorn. "why're you red, star?" he asked in a teasing manner.
as you struggle to give a response, the middle blocker is internally beating himself up. he chickened out on actually putting his arm around you. to ease the tension, he suggested, "i'll go get the karaoke machine."
your eyes shined as you nodded, offering to clean up as he set up the machine. you grabbed two bottles of beer from his fridge, handing him one. you settled back on the couch as you twisted off the bottle cap.Â
one bottle became two, then three, and you lost count as you both drunkenly sang to cheesy love songs. one caught your eye in particular, and you almost kneeled down trying to convince the blond.
"please~ come on, tsuki! kei, please!" you dramatically begged, shaking him back and forth. you peered up at him with the biggest, saddest eyes you could muster, and pouted. "i won't even take a video! it'll be our little secret." you promised, raising three fingers with your right hand and placing your left on your chest.
he clicked his tongue at you. "i'm only doing this because you're cute."
neither of you could tell if the red in both your faces is because of the alcohol or because of the blood that flushed your cheeks. you broke eye contact first, clearing your throat. grinning at him, you punched in the code, hearing the starting notes of the song 'because i am with you'.Â
he grumbled in annoyance, but the look in his eyes showed he isn't bothered by singing in your presence in the slightest. when he starts singing, tsukishima is staring intently at you, eyes drifting everywhere from your eyes, your lips, your nose. you couldn't help but feel that he's actually serenading you.Â
every time the chorus comes on, he stares deep into your eyes, as if trying to tell you something. he uses his other hand to cup your cheek as he sings the final lines.
"i really love you for the rest of my life," his voice lowers at the last three words as the instrumental slowly fades. "be with me."Â
his golden eyes drifted to your lips. "stop me if i'm reading this wrong."
you didn't, and tsukishima gladly took that as an invitation. he sets down the microphone before he leans down and presses his lips against yours briefly before pulling away. he saw that there wasn't any sign of protest in your expression, and kissed you once more, both your eyes closing.
your hands rested around his nape, pulling him impossibly closer to you. his free hand is placed on the side of your hip, the one cupping your jaw pulling you into him.
pulling away for breath, you open your eyes to see his own fixated on you.
he paused for a moment. âyou are actually the sky to my moonâ no, the sky, the stars, and the sun to my moon. iâd be incredibly lucky if you loved me half as much as i love you.âÂ
time stops for you. the one you have lovedâ the one you'd always love, just told you he feels the same way. tears made their way to your eyes as you asked him a simple question. âsince when?â
he chuckled, âsince that little festival we went to.â
âso youâre telling me,â you started, rising from the couch and standing in front of him. âwe fell for each other at the same time?â
tsukishima blinked.Â
gears were turning in his head at rapid speeds as his tipsy brain tries to process what you just told him. âyou⌠feel the same way?â he asks in shock, his voice soft. the expression on his features showed you that he wasnât expecting this in the slightest.
before you could ramble on what you do love about him, he stands on his feet and engulfs you in a hug, slightly picking you up. when he sets you down, the sparkles in his eyes are undeniably bright.
âi canât believe it. sunshine, all this time? i mean, i didnât want to tell you because i didnât want to ruin our friendship andââ
you shut him up with a peck, and he malfunctions then and there.Â
you ask, âwhat does this make us?â
he tilts his head. âwell, now weâre basically in a relationship, but weâll take it one step at a time. whatever pace youâre comfortable with.â
when his moon rises, your sun rises as well under the same sky.Â

Canât Say No (At Christmas)
CS one-shot set in the future. Hope is three and Emma and Killian are still very much in the throws of a happily ever after, but Killian wants to do something special for Emma for Christmas. With the help of their family and the town, he manages to fulfill a Christmas wish for his wife in exactly the kind of over-the-top fluffy and sweet way youâd expect from me. Includes holiday surprises, Christmas cheer, and a healthy dash of true love. Rated T. Available on FF Here and AO3 Here.
A/N: Hey all! I really did not know if I was going to be able to get this drabble done, but I am so happy to say that I did and to share it with you all tonight. I know that this Christmas is going to be so different for so many of us, and that it has been a hard year of uncertainty and stress. My gift to our little fandom is this story, focused on Emma and Killian a few years after we got to see them in the show. Itâs inspired by the spirit of Christmas, the cheesiness that only Hallmark movies can provide, and the song âNo Problemâ by Dylan Schneider. I love the idea that Killian cannot deny Emma anything, and that at Christmas he has to make Emmaâs wishes come true. I hate to spoil any more of this, but I will just say thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy!
âI donât know how the hell you pulled this off, mate, but I got to hand it to you, this is really something special.â
The words David uttered from the bottom of the ladder were high praise, despite the dig at Killianâs favorite endearment. Tonight though, Killian would let the jab slide. He simply didnât have the time or energy to pretend to argue with Emmaâs father. Instead he hustled down the rungs and back to solid ground beside his friend. He took stock of the room once more, running his hand through his hair and tracing each corner of the barn with his gaze. There was very little about the place that was recognizable. It had been sufficiently transformed, from an old, dusty tomb of farm equipment, to a space fit for the evening ahead.
âIt pays to be a good guy in the end,â Killian joked. Playing up the early days of their knowing each other when Killian was anything but a hero. âTurns out Iâve helped quite a lot of people these past few years. They were eager to return the favor.â
âThatâs true enough, but I think the fact that you did this all for Emma plays a big part too.â
There was no doubt about that, and the mere reminder of his wife brought a smile to his lips. She was going to be surprised by this, and there was nothing that he loved more than surprising his Swan. Killian could hardly wait for the look of excitement that would spread across her face, and the light that would appear in her jade colored eyes. Her cheeks would flush from realization, and her hands would move unbiddenly, as if she couldnât quite contain the excitement or suspense. Emma was always the most beautiful of women, and a miracle to be sure, but when treated to a gift that was truly worthy of her, she was transcendent, his own personal star and tempting taste of heaven.
âAny word from Snow?â Killian asked, checking his watch and seeing they had made good time, despite the hecticness of the day. He had enough time to catch a shower and prepare himself, but he needed to be sure that Emma and Hope were sufficiently occupied in the meantime.
âBetter â she sent a video while you were hanging the last of the garland.â
David offered his phone and Killian laughed at the sight. Snow and Emma had taken Neal and Hope out of town to a nearby ski resort that was hosting all sorts of winter activities for kids. In the video Emma, Hope, and Neal were all making snow angels, until Neal gave the signal and he and Hope pivoted to throwing snowballs at Emma. The only problem was Hope was far too little and bundled up in snow gear to be effective. She was having the time of her life though, and at the end of the video, Emma scooped their daughter up and nuzzled her close, bestowing a kiss on her curly brown hair, which had escaped its winter cap. Hope was a dazzling blend of him and Emma, but her goodness and ability to inspire love was totally her motherâs doing.
âPerfect. You good here for the time being?â David nodded, pivoting from his assistant role to commander in chief with the quickness of one-time prince. Content that his tasks were in good hands, Killian headed out, eager to put the next parts of his plan in place.
Things moved quickly from there. He showered and readied himself for the kind of night his Emma had imagined, ignoring the strangeness of his reflection as he did. He would never feel quite right in these damn tuxedos, but Emmaâs wish was specific and it included the blasted suit. It also included a number of gifts for Emma and for Hope, which he pulled from the one place in the house Emma never ventured to â the garage. From the back of the storage space there, he grabbed a number of boxes that heâd stuffed away last week, and brought them all inside. After checking the contents were free from any water or dirt, he was convinced things were as they should be, and he left the gifts underneath the Christmas tree.
The only thing left to craft was the note for Emma that would set her surprise in motion. He hadnât dared to write it out before, wanting to save it for this moment. It felt right to speak from the heart and to put in words exactly how he felt tonight. Still, it took time to get the letter exactly right, and he must admit he grew a bit sentimental when crafting it. A time or two he fell into recent and more distant memories of their lives together, feeling the warmth in his soul that could only ever come from the truest love. Luckily, he had enough of his wits about him and time was on his side. Soon he heard the sound of a car pulling up the drive just as he closed the envelope with Emmaâs name and placed it on the tree, and with the stealth accrued in his past life, he slipped out the back door just before his girls came in.
âMama, look! Santa came early,â he heard Hope say as he quietly rounded the side of the house. For a moment he was truly tempted to steal a look and watch this scene play out, but he reminded himself that there was still more to be done, and instead headed down the street to where a not so patiently waiting Snow was parked.
âKillian, thank God! I thought youâd never get here!â she exclaimed as he opened the door, but before he could reply, young Neal let his own thoughts be known.
âMom, itâs been like sixty seconds. Literally. Look, I timed it on the stopwatch Henry gave me. 63 seconds.
âNo, has it only been a minute? Iâm so excited I canât tell. It feels like forever. I was waiting for this all day. It was so hard not to spill the beans.â
âBut you didnât, right?â Killian checked, pivoting to Neal for the truth. When the boy gave him a thumbs up, he let out a breath. âGood. But it all might be for not if we donât get a move on.â
âOh, right. Weâve got to go. Weâve got a Christmas miracle to deliver.â Neal groaned at the words and Killian remained quiet prompting Snow to ask the question, âSorry, too cheesy?â
âFor tonight? No, strangely itâs just right.â
And with that, they pulled away from the curb, headed back towards the barn and the long-awaited surprise.
âŚâŚâŚâŚâŚâŚ.
âMama, look! Santa came! Santa came!â
At first Emma didnât understand the words from her daughter. She was just trying to get her bearings after peeling the snow clothes off of Hope and discarding her own jacket on the hook by the door. Her boots were barely off and her scarf was still wound around her neck. She couldnât imagine how Hope still had so much energy, but then she remembered â three year olds were like comic book characters, with a super power of endless energy.
âChristmas Eve is tomorrow, honey,â Emma said, righting her clothes and letting go of a big breath, before walking towards the living room. âTwo more sleeps until Santa.â
âBut look, Mama, pwesents!â
Emma followed her daughters pointing finger across the way, and low and behold there were gifts under the tree that had not been there this morning. Her curiosity was peaked, but when she saw the white envelope secured in the branches of their evergreen tree, she had an inkling of what was happening.
âKillian,â she murmured walking forward, and running her fingertips across the delicate paper.
âDaddy?â Hope asked excitedly, and Emma nodded as she opened the envelope, only to fight off tears of love when she read the letter.
My Dearest Emma,
There are no gifts that I could ever give you that compare to all youâve given me. I know and accept that, but this time of year is different. Itâs a season predicated on love, light, and yes, even a bit of magic. So I had to try, for your sake and for mine.
Christmas is about showing the people you love what they mean to you. Itâs about giving love and feeling love, and knowing that even in the dark of a winter night, there is hope and light ahead. Itâs about reminding loved ones that you care, that youâre rooting for them, and that their dreams are your dreams too. You taught me that, you and Hope and Henry, and I swear to you that all I could ever want is to make you happy, and to grant the wishes you carry in your heart.
âOoo, pwetty,â Hope said, dragging Emmaâs eyes down to where her daughter had already begun opening the parcels below. Inside the white garment box was a gorgeous crimson colored dress, breathtaking in its elegant design. The satin and the beading were exquisite, and the color was to die for, and like something from a dream. Hope offered the box to her, knowing even at age three that it wasnât the right size for her. âFor you, Mama.â
âThank you, princess,â Emma said, taking the box in hand, wanting to look at it in full, but knowing the letter was still more important.
You are everything to me, Emma. Everything and so much more. You and our children hold my whole universe in your hands. Tonight, I hope to take your hand in mine, and remind you that in life, all you really need is the perfect partner.
âHe didnât,â Emma whispered, looking down from the letter which had been signed with love by her pirate. Then she looked at the other presents Hope was opening. A beautiful pair of heels, a white fur muff, and a necklace that sparkled, along with all the same things for Hope that were more their daughterâs style and perfect for her size. The last gift was another envelope, with a card. On the top in cursive script it read âSelected Suitors for Emma Jonesâ and the only name was Killianâs. âOh my god, he did. Itâs a dance. He planned a Christmas dance for me.â
âDance?â Hope asked and Emma crouched down to help her daughter really open her own garment box, where a beautiful princess-style dress was waiting for her. As soon as she saw it Hope let out a sound of pure delight, clapping her hands together at a hastened clip. At that moment, the front door opened, and Emma looked, expecting to see Killian but instead seeing her son, dressed up in a tuxedo and looking downright dashing. It would have been a shock either way, but this year, when sheâd been bracing herself for her son being away for the holiday, it felt like an even greater gift.
âHenry?â she asked, as Hope bolted for her brother. Instinctively, Henry scooped her up, accepting all her hugs and kisses before turning his eyes back to Emma.
âSurprise! Well, part of it anyway. But weâve got to get a move on, or weâll be late.â
âWhere are we going?â Hope asked. Henry responded by whispering in her ear, low enough that Emma couldnât hear. Whatever he said made Hope gasp. âReally? Weâre going there?â
âSure are. But we have to get ready. Donât worry, Mom, Iâve got Hope. You do what you need to do.â
Emma was spurred into motion, grabbing the gifts marked for her and heading upstairs. In thirty minutes, she and Hope were both ready for whatever awaited them, and though Emma had her suspicions, she was in no way prepared when they arrived at the old McDonald farm. Pulling around back to the barn, there were dozens of people milling around. Everyone in town was here tonight, dressed up and partaking in merriment, but when they left the car and walked inside, Emma was truly stunned.
âItâs beautiful,â she said aloud, taking in the gorgeous decorations. The space was totally transformed, a perfect blend of rustic refinement. The colors were vivid and vibrant, the air was warm and filled with the scent of cinnamon and honey, and the joy here was palpable. There was a buzzing electricity that crackled in the air. This was what all those Christmas movies strove to recreate but could never quite capture, and Emma took it all in knowing that her husband had made this just for her.
Scanning the room for him, Emma was first greeted with the sight of her Mom and Dad and brother. They came forward immediately, hugging her and Hope and Henry and extending their thoughts.
âOh, honey, you look spectacular!â her mother exclaimed with tears in her eyes, holding her hands and looking at her red dress. It was a truly wonderous design, that hugged every one of Emmaâs curves just right while still feeling of the season. It was classic and timeless and more than a little sexy, but it was appropriate for the night, when everyone was dressed to the nines.
âSo do you guys,â Emma said honestly, taking in her momâs sapphire ball gown, and her Dad and brotherâs tuxes.
âIâm a princess, Grandpa,â Hope said happily and Emmaâs father immediately agreed as the band began to play a slower melody.
âThereâs no denying that. Care to dance with me, Princess Hope?â He asked, bowing to her daughter. Hope giggled but took Emmaâs hand instinctively, looking at her for permission and clarity.
âWhat about you, Mama?â
âDonât worry, sprout,â Henry said nodding across the room and using his favorite nickname for his sister. âDadâs got her taken care of.â
Emmaâs heart skipped a beat at the mention of Killian, as if this was a first date and not years into their marriage. She couldnât help the butterflies swarming within her, and then, like magic the crowd of people parted, and there, across the room was her man. It should have come as no surprise how handsome he would look. Emma was well versed in how roguishly hot her pirate could be, but in a tux it was a whole other story. Maybe it was the rarity of seeing him like this, or maybe Killian was just one of those men who was born to wear a tux, but either way she was struck by him. Everything seemed to stop around her, and all she could sense was the man who completely owned her heart.
A few moments later they were together again. Emma hadnât even realize sheâd been walking towards him, and him to her, but when he took her hand she felt her blood hum in anticipation. She was caught in his eyes, sensing the mixture of love and desire that was so intoxicating, and waiting for him to speak, because words in this moment truly failed her.
âYou look stunning, Swan,â he said to her, the gravel of his tone washing over her and sending a shiver down her spine in that delicious kind of way. âThe fantasies Iâd conjured in my mindâs eye could never do you justice.â
âSo you were fantasizing about this, huh?â she asked, her voice thready as she turned, purposefully taunting him with a view of all her best angles. This time he let out a low growl that spiked her desire to tease him. God damn, there were people around! How could she be this hot and bothered? Oh right, she was married to a sinfully attractive and impossibly romantic man. This was par for the course.
âAye, love, and I promise those musings will prove more than satisfactory when we get home.â His voice dipped low and she swallowed hard, trying to tamp down her own building need. Then something shifted in his eyes, and she knew before he said a word that something immensely thoughtful was about to be shared. âI hope itâs everything that you wanted, love. Those blasted âHallmark townsâ have a lot more built-in Christmas cheer than Storybrooke, but all it took was a hint that this was what you wanted, and everyone came together.â
It dawned on her that the wish he was referring to was one that sheâd made a few weekends ago when they were laying in bed watching TV. She usually skipped the Hallmark Christmas extravaganza, but this year she was feeling sentimental. Maybe it was the fact that Hope was finally hitting an age where she was starting to understand the season, or more likely it was the pregnancy hormones from their little one on the way. She was only twelve weeks along, and wasnât even showing yet, but her self-coined pregnancy induced crazy brain was in full swing, and had been from the start. The only thing getting her through most days was Killian, and then he went and did something like this⌠it was too much for her, she couldnât take it.
âI love you,â she confessed, blurting it out like it was some big secret instead of established fact. âLike a lot. A lot a lot.â
âA lot a lot,â Killian parroted with a grin, pulling her with him out to the dance floor before taking her in his arms. She melded into his muscled physique, trying not to swoon as the melody carried them away.
âYou know Iâm not as good at the whole poetic declarations thing as you are.â
âFew can be, love,â he joked. She raised her brow at him in quiet consternation, and he only laughed before turning her into a low dip on the dance floor and reminding her that he was in total control of himself out here. âBut where words might fail you, action is your strong suit. You show me every day how much you love me, Emma. And every day I thank my lucky stars to have that love.â
He made a fair point. Emma was, after all, a woman of action, and so she decided to take some now. Though they were dancing, she stalled their moment to pull him in for a kiss, giving them both a taste of what was to come when the night drew to a close. The sparks between them ignited instantly, and without looking, Emma knew some of her magic was radiating from within. When they pulled apart she was almost dizzy from the delight, but Killian was even more effected. He had that boyish grin of his in full display, and that tiny hint of bashfulness that came when heâd done something really well. Only when she heard the oohing and aahing of the people around them did she realize their magic had created stars along the ceiling of the barn, making it appear that they were all dancing under an inky black sky bursting with constellations.
From a distance, Emma heard her daughter ask if it was âmagic timeâ now, but before she and Killian needed to step in, Regina told her âNot tonight, kid,â and Henry whisked her off for her another dance. This gave Emma and Killian time, time to enjoy the fruits of all heâd done, and to revel in this moment for as long as they could.
âMerry Christmas, Killian. Youâve made it so perfect, I never want it to end.â
âWhat is it they say in those movies, love? Oh right â every day is Christmas when weâre together.â
And even though it was horribly corny, and she should have rolled her eyes at such a lame joke, Emma found that she couldnât. She was simply too happy and grateful to feign otherwise. Instead she savored every moment of their Christmas dance, and the night they shared thereafter, knowing this would be one of the best days sheâd ever had, and that somehow, some way, her pirate would find other means of making the future just as bright.

Post-Note: So, what did you think? Hopefully you enjoyed this little dose of holiday cuteness and none of this is offensive in any way or to any story line. Most of you know I never watched the last season of the show, so I donât know what they say happened to Henry and everybody. I only knew Emma and Killian did eventually have a baby girl named Hope. Anyway, I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and healthy holiday season. I am grateful for you all, from the ride or die readers who comment on every post, to the people passing by who just wanted a little bit of Christmas cheer. You are such a force for good in my world, whoever you are, and I thank you for your light and kindness in these trying time. did you miss me? ⤠mat barzal
Part 1-Â ~2,750 words
So that video of Barzy singing this song (which I will never stop reblogging) brought up some old nostalgic memories because I kinda forgot this song existed and I used to listen to it so much when I was younger. So I listened to it and started feeling emotions. Iâm sorry if this is too crazy I just really went off. @matbaezalâ because I promised you this. I hope its okay, itâs my first real hockey boy fic.
Summary:Â You get the opportunity of a lifetime, but it means saying goodbye to your boyfriend for half a year. Mat starts feeling a little bit of self-doubt in the relationship. This part is literally just describing yourâs and Matâs separate sides of the experience and then a fluffy scene. There WILL be a second, emotional part eventually.Â
As you pushed yourself down into the cramped airplane seat and tried to drown out the noise of rowdy children a few seats behind you, you pulled out your phone and pressed on the âMatâ¤â contact one last time in a final attempt to send one text to your boyfriend. But no matter how many texts you sent, that damn little âNot Deliveredâ message just had to keep popping up.Â
It really felt like the world was out to get you these past few days.
You hadnât been able to get a hold of your boyfriend for the last three days- even when the messages did deliver- to tell him about your flight back, and now the flight itself was late and it was gonna take a few extra hours until you were back home. In all honesty, you didnât even know if he would still be waiting when you got back. The internet connection had never seemed crappier than when you just wanted to send just one more text to him before your flight. Airports had never seemed more crowded than the moment you began to become overwhelmed with the need to just be home. Six months had never felt like a longer time than when you just needed to crawl into your boyfriendâs arms.
The last six months had really been something, huh? You could barely believe theyâd even happened at all.Â
As someone heading into the social work field after college, you had always wanted to get out in the world and help people less fortunate than yourself, which is why you jumped at the opportunity to fly with other students from your university to underdeveloped countries to do nonprofit work and volunteering to get a taste of what this career path would feel like. And damn, how cool would it be to put something that good on a resume? It was the opportunity of a lifetime for you, so it shouldâve been an easy decision to jump on that plane. But of course, there was still one thing that made you hesitate- Mathew Barzal.
Six months ago, at the start of all this craziness, you had left behind your amazing boyfriend. Of course, Mathew was 100% down with your decision, happy you were getting the chance to do what you love and explore beyond the world you were used to, but that didnât make it any easier to go without him. The two of you had been dating for a solid 4 months at that point and had been hanging out as much as your hectic schedules allowed, always there to pick up each otherâs pieces after a hard day. Knowing that you wouldnât have someone to curl into and hold at the end of the day was the biggest obstacle standing between you and the potential start of your dream career. God, you would miss him so much. But you wanted to go so bad, to look for your passion, your career, yourself. Â
You remember holding onto Mat after telling him about your conflicted feelings, tears in your eyes as you tried to savor the feeling of his arms around you. âI want this so much. It could be the start of my career. I want to find myself, you know? But you deserve someone who can be there for you.â Mat shook his head a bit. He always made it well known that he appreciated every moment he got with you, even if it wasnât much on certain days.
âYou are there for me.â He insisted.
âBut now Iâm going to miss six months, Mat! Half a year! By the time Iâm back, you might not even like me anymore.â With teary eyes, you looked up at him. âItâll be easier if we just break it off right now so you can find someone else. Someone who can be there-âÂ
âHey, hey.â Mat tried to hush you with a kiss, but you pulled back.
âSix months, Mat, we havenât even been together that long yet.â You spoke softer this time. âThatâs a long time to be without someone.â
âShut up, please, babe. Shut up.â He pulled back to look at you, holding your gaze and letting you know he was serious now. âLook, it might be a long time, but Iâm not gonna let you hold yourself back for me, alright? You want this, right?â You nodded. âYeah. This is an amazing chance for you to start your dream. Your dream! Youâre gonna change the world, babe. And I can promise you I wonât just stop liking you because you want to chase that dream.â His thumb stroked across your cheek and a smile finally cracked across your face as you were reminded again of his dedication to your relationship.
âItâs gonna be so hard, though. I might not be able to answer calls or FaceTime with you very often. And the time zonesâŚâÂ
âI can handle it. Iâve got plenty of pictures of you on my phone for when I get lonely.â You laughed at that, reaching up to lace your fingers through his hair. âAnd weâll just have to savor our time together for the next few weeks. Make every second count.â He lay a few kisses across your face and smiled into the crook of your neck. âGo find your purpose, babe. Do a little soul-searching. Iâll still be here waiting when you get back. I promise.âÂ
âââ-
Six months without Mat may have been hard on you, but you were also getting the chance to do things you loved and find your purpose. On the other hand, Mat, while he happily supported and encouraged your choice and never let you think he doubted it, wondered if maybe you would come back and realize that there was a lot more to life than staying with him. You were finishing a degree- and a freaking cool one at that- traveling the world, helping people and doing good in the world, and he was just a hockey player. A great one, sure, but still just a hockey player.Â
You were smarter, more compassionate, an overall cooler person than him, and soon to be better traveled and more knowledgeable about life in the underdeveloped parts of the world that most city people rarely spared a thought for. It was just a matter of time before you realized just how much better you were than him. You could find someone out there, someone else whoâs volunteering, and youâd fall in love with how selfless and worldly they were. Youâd fall in love and get married and go on saving the world together, while Mat was still just scoring goals on TV, living alone-
Shit, I have to stop thinking like that. You liked him. He liked you. Done.Â
He wasnât sure when all this self-doubt started- it was so unlike him. Maybe it was after he would get back from late-night games to find you waiting on his couch, stressed over your own assignments but still there nonetheless to help him relax, putting everything aside for him. Of course, he did the same for you as much as he could, but with practice and games and roadies and media days and more practice and more games, he felt like he couldnât be there for you as much as he wanted.Â
Surely, while you were out there doing some soul-searching in a foreign country, youâd realize that you could do better than him.
After you left, Mat realized just how lonely he was without you. The two of you hadnât even lived together before you moved out, but he understood now that you had been a much bigger part of his life than he ever realized. Sure, he had his teammates and his friends, and they hung out often, but he couldnât really go over to their place and snuggle them at the end of the day. He couldnât have them come over just so that he would have someone to hold- to fall asleep and wake up next to. There was a hole in his life.
Mat remembers the moment he realized why all these feelings- the doubt, the loneliness, the fear of losing you- were so intense. A month or so into your trip, he was FaceTiming you and the feeling of being separated was still new. It was almost time for you to go to bed, but Mat had just gotten back from practice and was upset that he couldnât spend the rest of his day on a call with you. He was sitting at the table in his apartment, propping his head up with his fist and smiling at you through the phone. You were thousands of miles away, sitting up on your bed, looking exhausted with your makeup-less face and hair thrown up in a bun, a radiant smile across your face and wearing a hoodie of his, the one you took with. âA part of you to cuddle out thereâ, youâd said. Sheâs so beautiful. âAre you having fun?â
âSo much, Mat!â Your smile was contagious.Â
âTell me about it.â Even if he was upset you were so far, he couldnât keep the smile off his face. âIs it everything you wanted?âÂ
âAnd more! I got to hang out with a bunch of the underprivileged kids today, theyâre so sweet! Weâre helping them make better schools here so that all the children can get a chance at an education. Weâre flying over books and materials for them, too! Theyâre all so excited to have us hereâŚâ He listened intently, honestly interested and amazed by everything you were doing. âI really think I found what I wanna do for the rest of my life, Mat. Iâd prefer to not be so far from you, thoughâŚâ You really were finding yourself, making a difference, changing the future, and he was so in love with that.Â
In love with you.
âBabe, go get some sleep alright?â Mat laughed slightly after a while as you lost your train of thought and started dozing off a bit. âYou got a big day of changing the world tomorrow. Call me when you get lonely.â You nodded sleepily at him. âGânight, (Y/N).â I love you, he wanted to add before he ended the call. But you were already half asleep, thousands of miles across the ocean from him. It wasnât the right time.Â
In love. Wow.Â
Mat had to take a moment that night to think. He knew that he liked you, seriously liked you, from the moment you had your first date. But now, knowing he loved you? He couldnât stop smiling that night, dreaming of the ways he would tell you. He couldnât calm down at practice the next few days either, all smiles and giggly to his teammates, who were honestly getting a bit tired of hearing Mat gush over you. Like, it was sweet and all but Mat, could you please for the love of God focus on practice?Â
Through all the wins and losses, the stressful games and lonely nights, at the end of the day, nothing could wipe that smile off his face. Because he was in love with you.
And he couldnât wait for you to get back home.
âââ-
Part of you felt like it had been years since youâd last seen Mat in person, the other part felt like it was just yesterday that you left him at this very airport. Now, back in the United States, standing in the airport and hopefully minutes away from being back in Matâs arms, you were sure that all your time away from him was worth it, thinking back on all the people youâd helped and the lives youâd changed. Youâd made it. Made it through six months without him, and you enjoyed every moment of the work youâd done there, even if it was spent without him.
At this point, you hadnât heard from him in three days, and before that there were only a few back and forth messages that had taken hours to respond to. Youâd texted him before and during the flight, reminding him that today was the day youâre coming back. He didnât answer. Okay, you thought, maybe the times just didnât match up and he was just busy. Maybe he was at a game or practice. For three days, though? What time is it, anyway? You sent him another text, thankful the messages were finally delivering. âHey, Iâm back :) You there?â Itâs fine, itâs fine, he probably just doesnât have time to respond yet. Maybe⌠maybe he broke his phone? But another part of your mind wandered into darker areas. Maybe he did get tired of you. Maybe he needed someone and you didnât respond fast enough, so he went out to find someone new. Maybe he wasnât going to show up after all. You shut off your phone in defeat.Â
Maybe you were on your own nowâŚ
âHey, (Y/N).âÂ
One statement alone had never made you feel as much as at that moment. All the bustling noise of the airport went silent in your ears as you turned toward the voice in what felt like slow motion. There, a few feet away from you, your boyfriend of 10 months now stood in front of a bench, looking sleepy and disheveled and wearing your favorite hoodie, one that you had often told him he looked really boyfriend-like in. He had a bright smile and a soft flush on his face. âMat.â All your worries of him not showing up were suddenly forgotten as you dropped all your bags and met him halfway, falling into his waiting arms as he lifted you off the ground in a hug. âMathew. Mat, Mat, MatâŚâ You let out all the emotions of the last six months, tucking your head into his neck and feeling dizzy with happiness at the familiar, comforting scent of his cologne. His arms held your waist close against him, his nose finding its usual place by your temple, breathing in your shampoo.Â
âDid you miss me out there?â He set you back on your own two feet and you pulled out of the hug only slightly to look up at him, studying his face as you held it between your hands. Heâd changed a bit since you last saw him in person- still the same Mat, your Mat- but somehow he seemed warmer, softer, happier. Not that he was unhappy before, but now he was just⌠lighter. Heâd cut his hair a little bit and it suited him, and his face was completely clean-shaven. But that beautiful, vast grin that always left you smiling was the same as always. You smiled and pressed your lips to his, threading your fingers through his hair. Finally. Finally. Seeing Mat on a tiny phone screen could never compare to being here in person, holding him, kissing him, feeling his arms around your waist. Six months of lost time exploded between you, and it felt like hours before you pulled away breathless, with grins on both of your faces.Â
âSo much, Mat. I missed you so, so much.â You pulled yourself back into him, one hand on his shoulder and the other tracing along his jaw, and choked back a happy sob. âYou scared me so much. You didnât answer my texts. I thought you werenât going to show up. I thought youâd actually moved on.â The grin fell from his face immediately.Â
âShit, really? I was just trying to surprise you. I thought itâd be romantic?â You laughed into his chest. Mat, Mat, Mat. He was the same as always.
âI missed you. So much.â You felt him smile as he pressed his lips against your neck, just taking a moment to hold you.Â
âYouâve gotta tell me everything about this trip. Was it everything you wanted?âÂ
"Later, Mat. I just wanna get out of this airport and back to someplace more private.â It was physically starting to hurt that you couldnât just jump on him and cuddle him right here at the airport.Â
âYour place first?"Â
"No. Your place. I just want to shower and sleep right now. And youâre crazy if you think I want to go home without you after all thisâ You shared a smile with him again, still overjoyed to be back home with him, not wanting this intimate moment to end. Then again, moments like this canât be that intimate when youâre literally standing in the middle of a crowded airport. Mat grabbed some of your luggage and tucked you snug into his side, right where you belonged.Â
âWell, Iâm not gonna complain about that.â

//But tell me did the wind sweep you off your feet? Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day, And head back to the Milky Way? And tell me, did Venus blow your mind? Was it everything you wanted to find? And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there?//

Elizabeth is a Guro-Sue.
Summary: Elizabeth Alby has been working at a London strip club for several years, and she's always kept herself aloof. She has secrets, and fantasies, but she's in it for the long game. When the strip club is finally bought out and taken over by someone nice, a man she can befriend and manipulate in order to get what she wants, she's excited.
But her old boss just can't keep his sleazy self away.
She's not about to lose out on a chance to better the club for herself and all the dancers. Maybe it's time to finally give in to what she wants to do oh so badly. Again...
A/N: This is a piece detailing my OCs second ever murder - the one which pushes her into continuing her enjoyment of such. It's set in an original universe based around a strip club called The Deadly Sinners, which features several of my OCs as well as friends of mine! If you're interested in getting to know her more, feel free to ask anything you like! And consider following my new gore centric twitter as another way of talking! I'm very open to expanding the universe and talking about my characters and what makes them tick, etc. In present day, Elizabeth is 28, and has a kill count of maybe a dozen+ kills. This is just the beginning...
WARNING: Explicit detail of murder, violence, and death. Involves stabbing, head trauma, broken bones, and additionally sexism and sexual misconduct. Please do not read if such topics may trigger you!

2015.
About an hour ago Elizabeth had been in the back office with Alix, the new owner and boss of the club. She'd met him almost a year ago when he walked into the club and draped himself over a bar stool. He didnât square up to any of the girls, didnât stare them down with carnivorous hunger - he just laughed with the bartender. Elizabeth walked up to him, ready to offer him a dance, but he beat her to introductions.Â
"Oh Jesus, youâre a stunner! Sorry, sorry, where are my manners?! Forgive me, I get a little tongue tied around beautiful women, and if I can be so bold, youâre one of the most breathtaking women Iâve ever seen.â
Usually compliments donât leave Elizabeth speechless. Sheâs used to them. Theyâre like white noise for the most part. Him though, Alix, he was different. He had wide eyes, and a smile to match, and he looked at her like she was a friend before he even knew her name. It was like the rushing wind that encapsulates a person when theyâre falling from a 50 story building. She felt like sheâd finally taken the cleanest, deepest breath in a long time.Â
Now, Alix is the new owner of the strip club, and he has big plans to refurbish everything. He wants to tear down walls, redecorate the whole place, give dancers a better backstage area - for a man whoâd made the decision to buy a business on a drunken impulse, he was surprisingly serious about making it something.Â
The construction team will start working early afternoon tomorrow. An hour ago Alix had been telling Elizabeth his plans, what he wanted to do with the whole place, and that, to her surprise, he wanted her input. He really respects her, and all the dancers. Having a boss who treats her well, looks in her eyes and not over her scantily clad body, it was the kind of unbelievable luck Elizabeth didnât believe in.Â
The pair left each other in good spirits, excited for a new start, buzzing on a shared hopeful high. Alix offered to walk her home but she'd respectfully declined, wanting to enjoy some quiet before she was home. After a few blocks, she reached in her handbag and realised she forgot her keys in the office. She turned around and walked with an urgency to pick them up - ironically, she had the spare key to the club Alix gave her, but not the ones to her flat. Her dad and sister were out of town, so she had to go backâŚ
Thatâs when she saw a shady looking figure at the clubâs entrance. He couldnât see her from the distance, and if he did, if he caught a glimpse of her when looking over his shoulders in a haste, sheâd just look like any other blurry figure walking home. It wasnât a break in, he had a key, and knowing that, Elizabeth realised who it was. So she waited, let him enter, and snuck in herself a few minutes afterwards.
Now, Elizabeth stands behind the bar, filling a shot glass with vodka, and throwing it down her throat swiftly. She makes it look easy, cracking her neck and muffling a cough in reaction to the burn. It's how she likes to start her shifts usually, with liquid courage.Â
Now itâs 3AM on an ordinary Tuesday. The rain has suddenly begun to pound the pavement outside, loud enough to rattle the building - it punishes the world, cleansing the treacherous stains left by sinners.
Vodka splashes out of the glass and onto the bar. Elizabeth takes the nearby rag and wipes it up. She turns around and peers into the wall mirror behind the bar shelf, liquor lining the wood and obstructing a clear view. She pulls out the dark red lipstick from her bra. It's accustomed for her to look her best at every given opportunity, addicted to perfection. She runs it over her plump lips, pouting and popping them to rub in the smooth colour, then stares at her reflection for a minute. Honey brown eyes stare at her, understanding what is about to happen has to happen... Â
Now is the time to kill someone again, and not just any random patron off the street. She gets to revel in the joy that her old boss, Stewart, will die by her hands.
She's been working at the club for around 5 years now. It wasn't what she had planned, but it kept her safe in a way she couldnât explain. She only started working there as a side gig, to get some decent money while she studied. The plan was to be an electrician, get a secure job working on the railway lines. She enjoyed tinkering with electrics. She got her qualifications with ease, but nowhere would accept her at the time. Whether it was the lack of positions available, or the familiar judgement that a woman like her couldnât possibly be competent, she will never know. Life got hectic, after her mother's death everything began falling like the devil's dominos. Stripping should have been a cash grab, but she adapted to fit the narrative that the dancers she worked alongside became like family.
Sheâs well liked, though mostly from a respectable distance, with only a few exceptions. Some people find it hard to know what to say around her - sheâs usually so quiet, with a look like sheâs always thinking. She's never been a shy character. The correct term is aloof, bordering impassible, and smart. She let her co-workers find comfort around her, and she gave patrons the illusion they were her saviours. Everything Elizabeth did was calculated to cater her neverending poker game, and now, still in to win at life, no one truly knows who she is.Â
No one knew she thought about murder every day. No one knew she craved the crazed euphoria of killing someone, that which she felt when sheâd blugend her mother to death. Every day for the past 4 years sheâs been wondering if sheâd get the chance to relive that high, planning over and over again in her head when she would do it, who would be her victim - she didnât expect it to be on a whim like this.
Itâs titillating just thinking about it. Damn near erotic. Since she started working at the club, sheâs had to deal with the sleazy stare of her boss almost on the daily, knowing his eyes linger on her ass, while his hand cups his groin. He licks his lips staring at her tits, and when she meets his eyes with her evil glare, she can see the unsure arousal lingering in his pupils. Heâs putried, truely, pleasuring himself in his office during work hours after watching a performance. Stewart is a predator. He preys on his vulnerable staff, and uses them to gratify his animalistic cravings.
"If you want to rake in the money, sweetcheeks, youâve gotta smile more. Guys like tits, but they donât like miserable bitches, kay?â
Elizabeth had imagined his death a thousand times over the second he said that. When he dared to raise his index finger under her chin, condescend her in such a way, she hoped there would come a day sheâd get the courage to kill him.
After a few more minutes priming herself like a proud peacock, she reaches into her handbag and pulls out the hunting knife she keeps on her at all times. She used to just have a switchblade, until she passed an antiques store one day and saw the beautiful blood red hunting knife calling her name. She conceals the weapon in her thigh high boots, checking the handle is at a viable point she can grab it with ease. Wrapping her hand around the sturdy rubber, a rushing anticipation of her murderous excitement buzzes through her fingers and up her arm, just like electricity. Her heart is racing.Â
She leaves her coat over the bar top, walking out from behind the bar on the first floor and heads downstairs. She can hear his grunting every so often, the slamming of desk drawers and flustered footsteps as he searches for something. Last time she saw Stewart, he'd been wishing Alix the best of luck. Now he's breaking in the day before renovation is scheduled.Â
She stands outside the office door and knocks. Light, flirty knocks. A loud gasp followed by a rough, irritable command to enter. Elizabeth hides it well but she's beyond excited to gut Stewart like a fish. She wishes she'd been more prepared for the moment - wishes she made plans, figured out specifics and wasn't going off instinct. There were so many nights she thought about the how's, knowing if she had to feed that beast inside her, it had to be perfect. This isn't perfect like she wants, but it's perfectly good luck, she can't bear passing up the opportunity.
As she walks in, she sees Stewart sitting behind the desk, leaning back, cheeks furiously red and his forehead clammy from sweat. His thinning hair is swept back, more sweat than gel, and clearly only styled by his hand brushing it back. He looks like he always did, in a tight white shirt and scruffy tie, the years of loneliness aging him more than his crow's feet. His lips pull up into a shark like grin when he sees her, all teeth on show, and he chuckles, darkly, kind of like he's been expecting her. Out of all the girls, it's clear that Elizabeth was his favourite, and she plays into that favour by popping her hip to accentuate her curves. His eyes unashamedly fall down her body, taking in the sights, and though it repulses her to let him have the pleasure of just looking at her, she knows the payoff is worth it.
Maybe she can gouge his eyes out while he screams for mercy, deprive him of the tools he wastes on depraved thrills. She's had so many fantasies where she wriggles the tip of her knife's blade into someone's eye socket, and pops their eyeball out their skull.
"Lizzy, sweetheart...what're you still doing here?" He asks, almost timidly, like he's nervous, but still maintaining a confidence he can no longer afford. Elizabeth gently closes the door behind her and leans back on it, crossing her legs over one another. His line of sight hasnât actually met her eyes yet.
"I left my keys," she nods toward the set on Alix's desk, and smiles when Stewart visibly gulps. "But then I thought I heard someone rustling around in here. Strange to see you here." She pushes herself off and struts seductively toward him. The space between them is only a few steps, but Elizabeth manages to walk it like it's a runway. She leans her head to the side, looking at the mess of paperwork on his desk. "You looking for something?" She asks, just barely above a whisper. Stewart's hot breath pours out on her arm, distracted, then jerks back to the subject matter.
"Oh, yes! Uh I left some paperwork, very important documents, uh confidential actually, so you should--"
"All of this is Alix's." She picks up one of the sheets and inspects it. It's a building permit. She looks over the other papers - a scattered mess of plans and expenses and permits but all distinctly Alix's. Elizabeth hums and sits against the edge of the desk, crossing one leg over the other. Her legs are long, gorgeous, and she knows he wants to touch them. He practically looks enslaved to her beauty, he's forgetting about being caught up to no good. "Nothing here is yours."
"Right. I'm still looking," he answers too easily, but the sweat on his brow is a give away. Elizabeth chuckles under her breath and places the paper back down. She shakes her head at him in disbelief.
"You should have gotten a business partner to help you run this place." Her tone is devilishly flirtatious, dripping in false promises. She looks around the cramp office and shrugs. "A second set of eyes to help you spruce the place up. Maybe then the club wouldn't have been failing and you wouldn't have had to sell it."
His mocking laughter hits her hard. Her gaze snaps back to him.
"You're so naive, Lizzy." Stewart muses, too cocky for Elizabeth's liking. He wiggles his finger in her direction and chuckles. "But naivety doesn't mean shit when you're a stripper, so who cares!" And with that he starts rummaging through the drawers again, unbothered by her presence.
Her blood boils with a heat as intense as a volcano. It takes every inch of her being to resist grabbing the bunch of pens in the coffee cup on his desk and ramming them down his throat. He's still chuckling, like he's the funniest man to walk planet earth. She hates him, truly, but she doesn't let that show on her face of course. All she can do is keep smiling.Â
She crosses her legs over, exaggerating her leg outwards so he notices how long and slender she is. She tosses her hair over her shoulders and leans back accentuating her breasts. It doesnât take a lot to distract Stewart. Her leather skirt and bralette reflect under the dim office light, clinging to her figure, squeezing her curves like a boa constrictor. Her mesh top sparkles like it's covered in every constellation, itâs a wonder she can breathe carrying such beauty. His fingers ache to feel her melt. She tips her head to the side and bites her lip, hypnotising him.Â
"What did your girlfriend think of you working all those late hours surrounded by half naked women?â She smirks when he laughs.
"I donât have a girlfriend.â He pushes himself out of his chair and rolls his shoulders. Heâs nervous, hands shaking at his side and sweat dripping down his brow. God she wants to slice the skin off his face and make him screech in agonising pain. If he could read her mind, he might run for the hills. âWhat about you, Lizzy,â He places his hand beside her and leans in uncomfortably close. âWhat does your boyfriend think of you, dressed like this,â he motions his free hand around her breasts, âAlone in your bosses office?âÂ
Elizabeth is almost insulted that he thinks he even has a chance with a woman like her. Of course she represses the disgust in favour of chewing her bottom lip, reaching out to toy with the loose tie around his neck. "Ex boss," She corrects, smugly. His breathing gets heavier, halting only when she harshly tugs on the tie to bring his face mer centimeters to her own. He pathetically puckers her lips, and she snickers, looking at him darkly beneath her eyelashes.Â
"Do you really think Iâd care what a man thought of me?â Then she throws him back forcefully, standing up and dusting herself off as he stumbles to regain his footing. The force practically winds him. âBesides...I don't have a boyfriend. Boyfriends annoy me too much."
Stewart bumbles through an exasperated laugh, insulted by her statement as if it somehow could apply to himself. He straightens his tie and puffs out his chest theatrically. "You've obviously never been with a decent guy."
"A decent guy?" Elizabeth repeats. "Does such a thing exist?"
"Of course they do."
"Where?"
"Well me for starters!" Stewart blurts out, too wound up to consider the implications of what he's admitting. Before the words settle, she's already looking at him with disdain. A wicked smirk slithers across her face and she rolls her eyes, to his annoyance. "Hay, I'm a nice guy!"
"Nice guys don't break and enter places that don't belong to them," she sharply closes the space between them and backs him up against the back wall, her sweet devil's grin swapping for solid rage. "Nice guys don't make advances on their barely legal employees. Nice guys don't cut corners paying the people that keep their shitty business going."
"Woah, what are you--"
"Why don't you save the bullshit and just fess up to whatever the fuck you're actually doing here, hmm?" She puts her hands on her hips, staring him down. There's a tense silence, his eyes wide and frantic, thoughts visibly racing in the wind of his dilated pupils, and Elizabeth wonders if the pounding drumming of her heart is as ear shattering for him as it is for her.Â
She could slit his throat so perfectly at this angle. One sharp sweep of her blade, watching the flimsy pale skin tight across his neck rip too easily, allowing blood to spill and move like a glacier. She could wedge her thumbs into the tight wound and bury them further into his flesh, feel the rigged bone surrounded by squishy meat and warm blood. He'd feel her inside of him, invasive, denying the boundaries no one should know, and she'd laugh as he slowly dies. She wants to rip him apart like a wild animal on a hunt.Â
The cracking of bone. The squelch of flesh. The adrenaline rush. It's always just out of reach.
Stewart looks intimidated, but just as Elizabeth starts to enjoy the clouding of her twisted fantasies, he laughs boisterously and daringly places his hands on her hips to move her over. He picks out another folder from the drawers and opens it up, looking over his shoulder to laugh at her, looking at her like sheâs some hysterical woman. All Elizabeth can do is stare back at him in disbelief, the clouds suddenly vanishing in favour of making him a clear cut target. Him with his sweaty upper lip, the uneven stubble shading his jaw, his figure a few weeks skipped from the gym - he who dares to break into what isnât his and still look down on her. Itâs a bloodthirsty rage, almost delusionally so, she wonders if itâs all a hallucination, but his laugh is sharp and loud, and she wants to rip his tongue clean out of his mouth.
"Look, babe, you should get out of here, alright? You donât know what youâre getting yourself into.â
Elizabeth doesnât move though, just stands her ground, secures her stance and practically growls at him. He rolls his eyes and drops the folder heâd been flicking through on the desk with a loud thud.Â
âFucking hell, whatâs it gonna take to get you to fuck off, huh? What, money?â Stewart asks, ridicule thick on his lips as the corners of his mouth curl upward. He digs into the pocket of his trousers and fishes out a worn out wallet, waving it in her face aggressively. She doesnât flinch, even when he throws it to her feet forcefully and glares at her. âThere ainât shit to even give you.â
Elizabeth softens her brows. She looks down at the wallet splayed out on the ground; bare of any family photo, like most the men who ask for a dance do have. âI donât want your money.â She replies through her teeth, eyes looking up at him under her lashes. She clenches her fists and squeezes - tries to pop the tensions wrapping around her bones, making her fingers stiff, eager. Then she lifts her head. âI want you to get out.â
Stewart laughs again. This time as he looks up and down her body, itâs with disgust. âOr what?â He mocks, putting his hands in his pockets and rocking on the balls of his feet. He sticks his tongue in his cheek and scoffs when she doesnât respond immediately. âThis will always be my place, it donât matter whoâs name is on the deed--â
âThatâs not how it works--â
âShut the fuck up, okay?!â He bites back at her, specs of spit flying from his lips, his eyes filled with impatient irritation. Elizabethâs shoulders drop, something snaps. Not like a flimsy stick, more like an aged, cracking tree finally giving in to the woodsmanâs axe. The falling weight, the impending thump, itâs all so familiar and yet intimidatingly unrecognisable at the same time. Stewart closes the space between them. Heâs only an inch or two taller, but the way he juts out his jaw and looks down at her even with his head held high, he must see her as an insignificant little mouse. âYouâre nothing special, sweetheart. Youâre just another pretty face in a town with dozens of âem!âÂ
The muscles in Elizabethâs body burn almost uncontrollably. Sheâs minutes away from a forest fire, it festers uncomfortably in her fingers. She digs a pointed nail into his chest and pushes him back, seeing shock briefly flicker across his features. âYouâre a disgusting waste of space.â
He lets out a mocking laugh, clearly becoming more frustrated at her stubborn disdain. Thereâs a brief pause, and before she has time to react, Stewart grabs her by her shoulders and shoves her forcefully against the back wall, unconcerned when she grunts from the pain. Her hands grip his wrists to move him off, but he manages to keep her there, trapped by his sweaty palms. He leans in close with his teeth gritted, a smug, infuriating grin lifting his features.
âYou think I give a toss what some slag thinks about me?â He scoffs under his breath, shaking his head, clearly enjoying how she struggles to push him away. âI need money, darling. I know some nasty fuckers whoâll leave me in a body bag if I donât pay âem back, so Iâm not about to let some skank get in my way!â He takes a deep breath, and growls softly, looking down to admire the plush of her breasts against her see through top. His hands slide down to grip her hips, force her to stay in place, perfectly for his pleasure, setting in the uneasy claustrophobia.Â
Elizabeth already hates affection, it sets off alarm bells in her head, the overwhelming disgust ricocheting through her nervous system. The weight of his hand bruises her bones, aches her something fierce, she wonders how long it will take before the ground beneath her feet caves in.
âThe things theyâd do to a girl like you. Iâm not against telling them who you are, the slut that prevented their pay back--â
âIâm not afraid.â She says through her teeth, quietly, confidently. She can feel the boiling adrenaline coursing through her system with every rage inducing second ticks by. She takes his hands and moves them with an uneasy calmness, offering them back to him like he'd lost them. She lets her hands return to her sides. She tickles the top of her thigh, inching close to the handle of her hunting knife. âYouâre a sad wannabe gangster, and nothing more. If I gave even half a shit, Iâd pity you.â
Stewartâs face tightens with a frown. He growls some generic sexist insult and attempts to grab her again, but Elizabeth is faster. She finally reaches into her boot and whips out the knife, plunging it deep into his stomach before he knows what's happening. The impact of the knife rips through cotton and flesh with laughable ease, the burst of skin ripping around the weapon's teeth practically ricocheting through Elizabeth. The anger he had is replaced with fear. She loves it.
She keeps him steady with her hand firmly against his collarbone, eventually turning them around so he lands against the wall she was pressed against seconds ago, with the knife still firmly in her grasp, in his abdomen. Taking a guess, she figures the blade is caught amidst the small intestine, probably snagged the bottom of a kidney, maybe even severed a ureter too. She looks up at his face and smiles wickedly. Blood begins to trickle from the wound and down the pooch of his belly. Watching his face slowly fade a ghostly complexion fills her with glee.
A pitiful plea fumbles past his lips, but she canât hear it over the drumming. Her heart thumps like it wants out of her chest, pounding so violently like it's going to crack a rib. Her senses have never been so sensitive, the adrenaline sending her on high alert. Sheâs always so composed, always trying to be perfect, and nowâŚ
She pulls the knife from his body swiftly, dragging his breath on the end of the blade, and watches blood come through the flimsy wound opening, staining his shirt a crimson red. She brings her bottom lip between her teeth and flares her nostrils, mesmerized by her work. Stewart tries to beg for help, taking back the cruelty of his ego, but itâs white noise, only encouraging her to make her own music with the tunes of his screams.
She takes his chin in her hand and grips him tight, nails digging into his cheeks harshly. She lines up the knife with where the tear in his shirt indicates the wound and pushes it back inside, catching his flesh and tearing his torso open more than it previously was. She pushes the knife in deeper this time, up to the bolster of the handle, and twists the blade to grotesquely shift Stewartâs organs. The slippery feel is obvious even without skin contact. More blood begins to pour from his wound urgently. Angling the blade upward, she catches something squishy and tender, and swiftly rips it in a flash as she recoils the knife back to her side. Stewart groans in agony, as he has been doing throughout; Elizabeth was just too excited to notice.  Â
Tears spill down his face, wetting her fingertips where she still has his face in her hold. She tuts and shakes her head. "Here, let me distract you from the pain," and without wasting a second, she grabs a fistful of his hair and swiftly slams his face down on the desk. A loud sick, wet crunch bounces off the walls, his nose certainly broken. Blood pours from his nostrils and he howls like a wounded animal, dropping to his knees, hands pressing against the agonising pain in his belly.Â
Elizabeth moves around to be in front of him. She kneels to get eye level and waits until he finds the energy to look at her. He's fading, it's clear in the whitening of his skin. She enjoys how the look of death illuminates the little colour left in his eyes. An endearingly manic smile lifts her face. The memories of her mother etch their way across Stewart's busted, bloody face.
"Fuck you." She whispers, pronouncing every letter with finesse, punctuating the words with venomous hatred. Stewart's face is more blood than skin, but she can still make out the aching fear as he realises he's about to die. Elizabeth wants to drink it up, savour it in a bottle so she can enjoy it again and again and again. She's been waiting for this. She's needed this.
As he opens his mouth in an attempt to speak, she quickly strikes upward with the knife and forces the blade to puncture through the bottom of his jaw. The jagged teeth tear without strain, pushing through his skin and tongue and the roof of his mouth like theyâre delicate pieces of tissue paper, but the blunt surface of his skull catches the blade and brings it to a halt. With his mouth open a crack, Elizabeth can admire the grotesque bursting of his flesh. It resembles the inside of a cherry cobbler.
Stewart tries to scream, but his voice drowns in his own blood. The sound is horrendous, just garbled nonsense as he convulses and regurgitates blood, everything finally shutting down. Specs of blood fly from his mouth, a river of red pours out the corners, and Elizabeth holds eye contact all the way through to the end. When his body finally sags, his eyes hollow of any remaining life, she keeps staring like they have the secrets to eternal happiness. Maybe they do. Maybe this is her happiness. In the ravenous, depraved violence of a murder so messy, she can finally feel something real, something that makes her think everything in her life wasnât all in vein, but rather were the stepping stones that brought her to her wonderland.
After a few minutes enjoying the glamorous solace, she takes a deep, cleansing breath, closing her eyes. Her heart and mind are both racing like theyâre trying to outrun one other, and her senses that were so frantic in murderous pursuit begin to steady. She feels hyper-focused. The million questions filling her mind slot into place perfectly one after another, filing away for later inspection. Who was after Stewart? Will they try to come looking for him? Did he tell anyone where heâd be tonight? Important, but they can wait. Now, the seconds she has in the quiet, looking at the blurred reflection in the framed picture on the wall ahead of her, she listens to the cruelty thatâs been haunting her for so long.
âThis worldâs gonna eat you alive, Lizzie. I can see it in your eyes, you have no fight in ya. Why are you such a weak little bitch, huh? Ever since you were small, I knew youâd amount to nothing...just a pretty face, nothing more.â
Her motherâs voice has been taunting her for too long. She carries on living, thriving, trying to forget her wicked memory, and she continues to abuse her. Things get harder, the stress eats her alive. Merry men throw their wallets with no care, supporting coke stashes, and hiding their wedding rings like they were method acting their bachelor days. Lingering hands, security that didnât care, and the eyes of a predator always lingering out of view, no matter where she went. Elizabeth was the prey, just like any of the girls, relying on the generosity of vultures. All these years, the repressed rage her mother fueled just getting worse in the lionâs den. Killing the first time was like taking a deep breath before drowning again. Now she can really breathe in the fresh air. She feels clarity better than she ever has.
Elizabeth cracks her neck and pulls the blade out on a deep exhale. She stands up as Stewartâs body collapses in a heap on the floor. Now she has to dispose of his body, clean the office, and act like nothing happened. Tomorrow a construction team comes by to knock everything down and rebuild. Death wonât matter as long as itâs hidden, and Elizabeth doesnât feel a shred of worry over covering her crimes. She has a plan.
Now she knows what she wants. She wants to tear people apart, see what's on the inside. She wants to do this again, and again, and again...

A Recorded Life Sequel (3/10) - Miraculous Ladybug
Words 1448 Chapter Summary: On the year anniversary after Hawkmoth's defeat, the team reflects and meets up. Something is off with Marinette, though. Authorâs Note: Let Team Miraculous be happy. That's what this chapter is. Maybe a little content warning on grief and sadness, but there is a happy ending. Also, this is the last of the part that takes place directly after Hawkmoth's defeat, the following chapters will be a few years later. I'm super excited for that!

One Year After
---
While Sabine plated up breakfast for her, Tom, Marinette, and Adrien, they listened to the morning news. It was a Saturday, so there wasn't much to be done during the day. Scattered homework, hopes of filming a new video, and maybe play some video games. But that was a normal Saturday; this one hit much harder.
"Don't be bemused; it's just the news!" Nadja introduced the program. "A year ago today was the miraculous day where our favorite superhero took down Hawkmoth. I can speak for all of France when I say thank you to Ladybug, Chat Noir, Rena Rouge, Carapace, and Queen Bee. It has been a while since we've seen them around, but it is no secret that they deserve the break, and crime rates have been down. Thank you, our Miraculous heroes," Nadja said before it switched to a different topic.
Adrien and Marinette ate their cereal in silence as they listened to her talk, but never looked at the TV. It was going to be an emotional day to think back on, and it had already been an emotional year. But they wouldn't change the way things went down; as hard as it was for Adrien to lock his father up, he couldn't let him destroy Paris.
"Would you like us to do anything for you guys?" Tom asked them, finally breaking the silence.
Marinette shook her head. "Oh, no, thanks, dad," She said. "We're meeting up with the team a little later. It's been a while since we've all been together," Marinette nodded.
"Alright, well, you let us know," Tom smiled. Marinette's parents said they would be down in the bakery, and they exited to leave the kids alone.
"How are you feeling?" Marinette asked Adrien.
Adrien only shrugged in response, taking another bite of his food. "Kinda numb, you know?" Adrien said. "I thought I would be sadder, especially after talking to my therapist this week. But I'm still mad at him," He explained.
Marinette put her hand on Adrien's shoulder to comfort him. "And that's perfectly okay, you know that," She said.
Though Adrien was mad, he still felt guilty. He was the reason his dad was in jail, and he can't help but think if his mother really would be back if he let Hawkmoth make his wish. He also felt guilty that he hasn't once visited his father after a year nor talked to Nathalie since she moved away. Everyone always reminded Adrien he had nothing to feel guilty about and that his father didn't deserve to see Adrien, but no matter how much he was told, he still felt it. He couldn't help it.
The Kwami's came flying into the room at record speed. "Morning, guys!" Plagg said and quickly flew into the fridge to eat a piece of cheese.
"How are you guys?" Tikki flew up to them.
"The usual," Marinette answered for both of them. "I think seeing the team will be helpful. Nino has a lot of stories from tour to tell us, too," Marinette said.
A small smile appeared on Adrien's face. "I can't wait to see him; it's been so long," He awed, and the two of them finished breakfast. Once they were done, they headed to the nearby park where so many memories were made. Countless photoshoots, school projects, and Akuma fights happened at the park. Adrien and Marinette set down their blanket and waited for the others to show up. There was going to be a celebratory ceremony later in the day, but the team wanted to catch up before then.
ChloĂŠ arrived only ten minutes after Adrien and Marinette did, and Alya and Nino were not too far behind her, either. They sat on the large blanket, and all seemed to take a deep breath, taking in the last year and how much their lives, and Paris, has changed.
"What's on your mind, Marinette?" Alya snapped her out of her stare.
"Oh, it's not important," She sighed. "I'm glad we could all get together. I know we've all been busy, but I've missed the team," Marinette said.
"I agree," Adrien piped up. "We're all so busy and focused we need to make sure we can see each other all together more often. The team's got to stick together," Adrien said, much like a leader.
Everyone agreed, and put their hands in to pound-it, even though life was hectic with school and jobs, sticking together was most important with stressful times.
Nino told them stories of touring with Jagged Stone, and how amazing it had been. ChloĂŠ talked about her classes and things she was learning, and her plans for after she graduated. Alya just got a raise at work, which showed the publishers must like her work. Adrien's working with the stand-in CEO to re-open Agreste Fashion, and Marinette was still stuck with school and video making. It was no lie when they said they were busy, and a damn good thing they defeated Hawkmoth before starting university. How would they have handled all the work and fight crime?
Mayor Bourgeois called attention to the stage in the park an hour after the team arrived. They all looked up to the statue that was installed not long after Hawkmoth's defeat, and he reminded Paris how important this day is. He recounted some of their hardest Akumas, and some statistics on how well Paris has been doing this past year. It was true they could finally relax... but it all seemed too weird to just sit back.
---
That night, Adrien and Marinette went out for a nice dinner to treat themselves and take their mind off things. It was a day to celebrate, wasn't it? They didn't talk much about the day, just about life, and they were happy to be spending time together. It was a day for celebration, but it was still an emotional toll.
"So we were talking, and we're thinking our big comeback will be- Mari, are you listening?" Adrien asked, ultimately ending his story about work.
Marinette shook her head and put her fork down. "Yes, I heard you. The comeback," She said. She was half listening, and felt terrible that she couldn't give her one-hundred-percent to Adrien.
"What's wrong?" Adrien asked as he began to get worried.
"Nothing, I'm okay. So you were saying..." Marinette dragged on.
"No," Adrien said and sat back to look at her. "Something's wrong, tell me. You know you can trust me with anything, right?"
Marinette thought for a moment, but knew it was better to tell the truth. "I'm so thankful that we took down Hawkmoth. And I'm thankful that crime has gone down and Paris is a better city. But, do you ever miss it?" She asked, but clarified before Adrien could answer. "Not the Akumas or the crime. Just...being Chat Noir and Ladybug. I loved hopping around on rooftops and meeting on the tallest part of the Eiffel Tower. It was exciting," Marinette confessed.
Adrien's worried face turned from a frown into a smile. "I think some excitement is exactly what we need. How about we pay the bill and go check on our city?" Adrien proposed, and Marinette eagerly nodded. He called the waiter over and handed him his card; then they rushed out into a semi-hidden spot between the buildings.
The Kwami's had clearly heard their conversation, and were just as excited. It was time to take such a traumatic experience and take it back to be something fun.
"Tikki,"
"Plagg,"
"Transform me!" They shouted simultaneously, and the familiar glow of red and green filled the small alleyway. Ladybug grabbed her yo-yo and propelled herself to the top of the building, Chat Noir on her tail.
She pulled her phone out and held it in one hand while holding the yo-yo in another. The skies were filled with giggles and screams of happiness as they ran from roof to roof. It was something both of them needed: the freedom from Hawkmoth and his fear-filled times, and using it to create new and happy memories. Though there was no need to fight any Akumas, that didn't mean they could have some fun.
After a while of swinging around and chasing each other, they ended up at the Eiffel Tower. Ladybug pointed the camera at Chat Noir, who was catching his breath, and he waved, then she turned it back to herself, a smile from ear to ear.
She uploaded the video, and everyone all over the world was excited to see that their heroes never truly went away. It was nice to see them so happy in costumes that used to make them so sad.
