#the nemesis speaks#he's not. evil. yanno.#like. he makes Bad Choices especially in like the red sky event / ounce of prevention#he very rapidly loses sight of Good Decisions when certain things are on the line#but he's not like an irredeemable asshole either?#i think his biggest character flaw is primarily his reluctance to get outside opinions before making a call#(which- incidentally- is kind of the inverse of irida's character flaw. SHE'S incapable of making her OWN decisions)#but then again oop kamado tried getting intel from one (1) guy and it fucked him over completely#you gotta diversify your assets kamado!#he can place faith in others but like. that faith doesnt necessarily translate into calling on their judgement#(also he does revise his opinions after you beat his ass with your dogs a couple times just saying)#(he's like ah. i see now. the strength of your bonds. the. Extremely Literal Strength.)#(maybe i should try that sometime)#also seriously he just has it out for this one fifteen year old in particular it's so funny#all are welcome as family in jubilife village of new beginnings- EXCEPT YOU#i wanna take a not-an-asshole tact with him in another fic. not oop though he's a lost cause there#he's dug his hole now pace around in it like a caged tiger#but like... hmm#maybe just a version of canon where the protagonist proves their worth just a liiiitle more and he refuses to throw you out#though where's the plot go from there?#i'm. rambling. gotta stop before the tag limit
