who do you think fell harder? Paolo or Sheva? I kinda miss them

Honestly? I wish I could tell you "both", but I'm afraid it was Paolo. I am genuinely surprised with how differently Paolo was described by his teammates in the 90s vs 00s. I really want to imagine that Sheva somehow managed to make him less of a judgemental bitch, and more caring and mature instead.

There really was something about Sheva that made all people around him caring and protective. And I think Sheva enjoyed this attention and. Despite his "I'm so shy 👉👈" act, I imagine him as quite self-centered. (Not that Paolo wasn't at one point 😂). I also imagine that his need for such validation wouldn't make him a good long-term partner.

After Sheva had left Milan, Paolo publicly talked about him still in good terms, and rejected all the voices that criticised him and called him names. I think he did, in some way, loved him. As a friend, as a lover, as a secret third thing, I accept all headcanons tbh. But I think Sheva had to work through his issues first to love him the same.
