They have just started dating for a week.

They are both too scared to do pda.

Not that Rich is a big fan of pda anyway.

Rich understands why Jake would be reluctant to show affection at school. Really, what would people think if the most popular boy at school ended up in a relationship with Rich, who used to be such a doche? Rich is ashamed of himself too.

All that he can do is stick to Jake and hang around him while resisting the urge to do anything stupid, like saying “I love you” or slipping his fingers into Jake’s hand or touching his silky brown hair-

Rich yelps when Jake suddenly kissed him. It’s quick, rushed, their lips suddenly coming into contact before departing just as sudden as it happened.

“I really wanted to kiss you,” Jake whispers.

Rich is still dumbfounded, a red color sweeping across his cheeks. “B-but I thought-”

“No one saw. It’s fine.” Jake gives him a cheeky grin. Rich looks around, people have started filling the halls that were empty again. He didn’t notice. He was too busy looking at Jake, probably.

“I wish I could kiss you back,” Rich mutters. Jake laughs.

“After school maybe.”

“Why can’t I also sneak a kiss in-”

Jake panics. “Tone it down someone will hear you…!”

Rich scoffs. “So…I can kiss you?” He whispers.

“After school.”

“I’m still sneaking that kiss in, Dillinger.”

Jake smiles at Rich before sighing. “You are so annoying.”

“You know you like it.”

“…Yeah.”
