The epaulette shark lives in shallow coral reefs in the north Australia- Indonesia area and can hold its breath for over an hour. Its pectoral fins can function as "legs" and it can "walk" on the rock during low tide to hunt for crabs, small fish and clams.

The narwals' tusk is actually an extended tooth, the males usually have one, but they can also have two, the females rarely have any and there was one recorded instance where a female had two. Scientists weren't sure for a long time what the use of the tusk is, but the most recent theory (i think) is that they use it to stun pray.

The ocean sunfish doesn't have a swim bladder, which would, like in most other fish, help it to stay floating. They don't have it because they swim up and down the water collum every day, and having a swin bladder would make doing that difficult. They also have like 4 million types of parasites on their skin, which is why you can often find them floating at the surface on their side, letting birds eat the parasites off of them. They're are the largest bony fish, and their skeleton looks extremely goofy. They are tiny as babies, but grow to huge sizes as adults.

Thrasher sharks have a really long tail that they probably use to hit and stun their pray. They can also jump really high up in the air, and no one knows why. They are one of my most favorite shark, and their long ass tail never fails to amuse me, their big black eyes, small face, small mouth and silly expression makes them look so cute! (to me)

I just want you to look at the ribbon eel. They are everything to me, I love them so much. He's just such a silly, adorable little goober.
