☀️ - What "Summer" Weather is your and your F/Os favorite?

slade is immune to heat thanks to already having a body temp of like 105 or 110. i forget what priest said in that little pre rebirth blurb outside of 'soldier serum makes him run hot and makes him immune to viruses because they just die immediately'. i figure it also means he's not as bothered by high heats because of it. it ALSO probably means he gets chilly easier but you know he wont admit it.

norman likes summer because he can finally be comfortable inside his own house again. i'll leave the a/c at around 71-73 depending. during the winter i make him suffer by refusing to turn the heat up past a certain point because "FUCK YOU WE'RE ON COMFY COZY LOCKDOWN. PUT ON PANTS."

norman dislikes being in the heat because he's a spoiled brat. one time the a/c broke in the upper floors of oscorp and he was so unhinged about it we all wished he'd just go goblin mode for a bit because that was less annoying.

slade is a freak that doesn't usually sleep in the normal sense anyway but can also only pretend to be dozing for so long before he forces me out of bed (barring any horrors meaning i need rest).

i think norman is unable to sleep in just because he's always on The Grind. if we're actually on a vacation it probably makes him so mad. i wake up at 10AM and find him on the balcony of the condo white knuckling the railing.

Pain levels can yo-yo from the changes in weather, which also triggers my asthma. But truly the Fall is easier on me because the summer is worse. I have heat intolerance, so a hot humid day is just as difficult as a day after a snowstorm to get around. Heat also makes my IBS worse. I won't get into details but it gets rough. So even though spring and fall fuck with my pain levels and asthma, I prefer them over summer or winter. Winter wouldn't be so rough if it wasn't for seasonal affective disorder. I don't mind the cold.

I'd love to hear about what Five would eat!

This has been such a hard ask to answer because I have so much detail to back every assertion, I could write a fucking book. I had a lot of fun thinking about this though, and there are a lot of subtopics to explore. But in the spirit of keeping things under a kip... :)

The answer to “What would Five eat?” is Literally Anything with Caloric Value. So I am going to answer the more specific question: What are Five’s comfort foods? Or: What kind of food could his sibling keep in the house to make him feel more comfortable?

From what we’ve seen him eat in the show, Five seems like the kind of person who finds comfort in the familiar. Literally the first thing he fuels himself on is a fluffernutter, something he loved as a child. A fluffernutter sandwich is not just a nostalgia trip, either, when taken into consideration.

Five very obviously operates on carbs, that’s his main source of fuel (not the caffeine). Bread and marshmallows are all sugar. Peanut butter is a superfood, it has all the important things - fat, carbs, and protein with the plus of being easy to digest. Peanut paste is commonly used to treat severe acute malnutrition. Peanut butter being a common snack for Five would absolutely track, regardless of the fact that it’s obviously something he would actually like if he had even a remotely normal relationship to food. It was likely one of the first things he was given to eat when the Commission picked him up, and by far one of the best tasting things.

That’s another thing that should be taken into consideration. Five went the vast majority of his life without basic spices. Not even table salt. I can't imagine Five needs a lot for something to be very savory or tasty to him. Which also means it wouldn’t take much for something to be too rich, either. He probably can’t do spice anymore, or at least will really have to work himself up to it.

The real exception to this is sweet stuff. Five has a sweet tooth a mile wide even when he tries to deny it. It could also be partially instinctual for him to seek out foods that are fast metabolizing, or it could just be his preference for quick energy. He’s obviously got trauma around a twinkie incident, and it would be fair for him to not be able to stomach vanilla cakes or those types of desserts anymore. I like to think he’s a fresh fruits lover at heart, and while he likes his candy, he’d go for sweet fruit if given the choice. This would be a post-apocalypse discovery for him, as fruit wouldn’t be on his radar unless he could grow some. Fruit can be hard to grow though, and I really think he would stick to tubers for their ease and high yield.

The last thing is canned food. Canned food doesn’t actually last forever. It has to be stored in specific conditions, undamaged, and sheltered from the elements. The cans that do survive and are edible after a decade or two would stop tasting good. I suspect Five only lived on canned food for the first two decades at most, and had to have moved to gardening and hunting at some point once the weather cleared. The ultimate time of scarcity would be the back half of the nuclear winter, when the cans were scarce and there still wasn’t enough sunlight reaching the surface for nature to start coming back. It would be a war between Five, the scavengers (rats and vultures mainly), and whatever else managed to survive. I imagine having a supply of non-perishable foods would be a massive comfort to him.

So if his siblings were to stock a kitchen for Five: Canned foods - mostly fruits, veggies, beans, and soups. They would absolutely catch Five eating straight out of the can, utensils optional. He would eat them mostly to keep a rotation going, but his favorite would be the canned fruits.

Sweet treats - mildly sweet cookies, likely nothing vanilla or sugar flavored, tho. Chocolate, toffee, peanut butter, and maybe caramel would be winners in Five’s book. Fruit for sure, and maybe fruit flavored hard candies.

Nutrient dense foods/ easy foods - protein bars and shakes, oatmeal (likely nostalgic as well, since they apparently ate it a lot as children), lightly salted trail mixes, rice and bread. Basic easy things that Five will seek out on his own.

Opinions on meat: I doubt Five would eat very much red meat, likely too rich for him. Poultry and fish would be the only meats he’d eat, and are really the only meats he could have had access to in the apocalypse.

Dairy: At a minimum. His teenage body wouldn’t likely be lactose intolerant but his older body sure as shit would have been. Ice cream would be the one thing he indulges in for that.

Oh, and Five absolutely has basic cooking skills. Knowing how long to heat something so it won’t give you a parasite is an important skill to have, regardless of if you're cooking on a stove or over a fire. He can’t bake, or do anything fancy, but he can make a decent stew if asked.

Okay so I've been holding on to these for a while and I just need to yell about them, but here are some of my favorite headcanons I have for our resident shark boy, Eijiro Kirishima:

• hes gay. obviously.

• he is lactose intolerant but will still eat a whole pint of ice cream and then complain about his stomach hurting for hours afterwards

• he drinks beer bc it's manly. not because it tastes good

• speaking of drinking, he's a lovey drunk. He talks constantly about how much he loves his friends and wants to give everyone a hug. He loves drunk cuddles

• he is a very touchy person, he will take any opportunity to touch your hand or wrap an arm around your shoulder, but he is so respectful of boundaries at the same time

• he's got them shark teeth and they tend to give him a little trouble with normal things. like breathing. he's a mouth breather, especially when he sleeps. like he's got the WORST dry mouth when he wakes up in the morning.

• adding on to the mouth breathing, he also snores. So. Loud.

• he's definitely a night owl and will sleep all day if given the chance

• absolutely a dog person, but he likes all animals

• he is a human furnace. he's so warm, just radiating heat all the time. the rest of the bakusquad tends to gravitate toward him in the winter for hugs and cuddles

• this is canon but he has no fashion sense

• crocs, of course

• he doesn't know how to tie his shoes. sometimes I'll say he does know how, he just prefers not to wear shoes with laces, but its funnier if he just. Can't tie his shoes

• he's a "can drive but can't do math" gay

• and one of my favorites, he is absolutely disgusting. He's such a nasty little man!! Like. He's so fucking sweaty all the time. He thinks using axe body spray counts as taking a shower. Bakugo has to remind him to change his fucking underwear on a regular basis. He doesn't know when to replace his toothbrushes. He's a gross 16 year old boy and I stand by this

🍇 Day or Night? Sun or Rain? Summer or Winter?

- day! it tends to be a lot warmer than night, and she doesn’t particularly like being in the dark. however, warm summer nights where she can lay in the grass and not get cold are great, too! unless it’s like. super hot and muggy outside, then she’d rather be heat-exhausted in the shade if she has to be outside.

this ones a bit debatable, because while she does like being warm in the sun, the sound and smell of rain is extremely soothing to her. i think unless it’s thundering outside, she’d rather have it raining, especially pouring, because it just makes her feel safer in a way? idk she just really likes the sound and would 100% listen to the “3 hours of rain sounds” if she was in the modern day

i’ve said this before, but winter! although she does like summer, sometimes it just gets far too hot and she can’t really do anything about it like she can in winter. she can just put on more layers, or even better, go and cuddle up to one of her friends. also she likes snow, not just to play in, but also because it’s pure white she feels like she’s not missing as much color anymore. she’s heard winter described as “drab and grey” so many times she’s like “now you know how it’s like to see with my eyes”

🍆 Tea or Coffee or Hot Chocolate? Sweet or Spicy? Fruits or Vegetables?

- hot chocolate all the way, although she does drink coffee if she really needs to stay awake. she’s not all that fond of tea, tbh. sure, she’ll drink it, but it’s just not her favorite. she’ll drink it to be polite. hot chocolate though,,,, incredible invention to her. wonderful. even if she does prefer it plain (she doesn’t much like artificial sweet things, like whipped cream), she still thinks it’s one of the best drinks in the world.

this is a bit of a toss up because kat doesn’t really like sweet things outside of fruit, but also she cannot handle spice at all. she doesn’t care about her intolerance to spice, though. she’ll eat it and then cry and then eat it some more because she just thinks it’s so good. milk is always on hand when someone orders take out lol

fruits all the way, but vegetables are good, too! since she’s pescatarian she tends to focus more on fruits, veggies, and fish, so she’s not very picky about what she’ll eat or not, at least in those food groups. she just prefers fruits above all else, especially oranges. although i do think that her favorite vegetable would be a potato? she’ll eat those skin on, like a sandwich.

🌸 What does your OC’s voice sound like? Their laugh? Are they good at singing? Do they have an accent?

i think her voice would be a bit lower than the typical girl’s, but she’d normally have a lot of emotion in her voice when she speaks. she’s not afraid of showing emotion (positive ones, that is), and it comes through in the way she speaks. she does have a little bit of an accent since she is originally from russia, but it’s faded throughout the years and it really only comes out as her changing w’s to soft v’s, and she pronounces somethings wrong on instinct (mayonnaise -> mayonez, wyoming -> veominge). it’s definitely not as strong as her brother’s, though, since he moved when he was 13! as for her laugh, she sounds a little like a squeaky toy when she laughs too hard, and snorts if she laughs too hard as well! in my mind she’s be pretty decent at singing, not great, but definitely good enough to consider trying out for the frog choir! i think that she wouldn’t be good at singing loud, and prefers quieter tunes to herself or the person close to her.

Favourite time of the year: June - August. I love the cold, I don’t like constant heat and sweating and humidity (which is ironic given where I live) which is why winter is the most ideal time of year. The air is crisp, it’s windy, and it looks nice outside.

Comfort food: I’m not really sure what is comfort to me but I can list some of my safe foods instead, like I usually make the same type of pasta (sometimes tweaking it by adding a new ingredient but generally it’s the same thing), also toasties, and rice with canned tuna.

Do you collect anything: I’ve unintentionally collected quite a few squishmallows, also do books count? I guess so, I prefer being able to hold what I’m reading y’know. Tho I do want to start collecting shells and sea glass from beaches even though I don’t really go since as I said before I hate the heat.

Favourite drinks: I’m a fruity drinker if I’m anything. Fruity ice teas, fruity teas over milk tea drinks, juices, etc etc. But yeah I specifically really like passionfruit flavoured fruit tea drinks, like the one at Gotcha es muy bien. I also see lactose intolerance as a challenge which is why I do like milk drinks but it’s just that they feel so much heavier to drink and well I don’t want to get like a taro milk tea and then feel the need to shit while I’m on an hour long train ride home. Not ideal. So yeah fruit drinks, you are what you eat.

She’s not a big fan of spicy food she’s more of a hearty and carb-filled comfort food person. Like she’d rather have fried chicken than chicken wings. 4. do they have any food intolerances? E: External Personality 1. does the way they do things portray their internal personality? Sort of? She’s a pretty blunt person and if she doesn’t like something/you she’ll let you know but in terms of her own feelings and how soft and emotional/empathetic she is she keeps that locked down. But put her in a room with her dad, sisters and nieces/nephews you can see how much that comes out and she lights up. 2. do they do things that conform to the norm? No, not very much lmao. She’s got a little rap sheet of trespassing/loitering/illegal gathering/etc she’s done to Get The Scoop and she’s very distrustful of almost all authority figures. Also, she’s very outspoken about the things she believes in! 3. do they follow trends or do their own thing? No way, Cassie does her own thing. She’d hate it if someone said she was following the crowd. 4. are they up-to-date on the internet fads? dkglsdkg yeah she’s on twitter pretty frequently as well as instagram. Cassie likes to be perceived in a certain way but it’s more so for herself not other people so she usually just doesn’t give a fuck about what other people think after that and they can figure it out themselves.

Pessimistic about most stuff but Cassie also has like this really nice inherent belief that most human beings are good. 2. are they openly optimistic, throwing it on others? No not at all, she advises against just blindly trusting people/situations actually. 3. are they good at giving advice? She’s a little too....blunt when giving advice. Cassie doesn’t sugar coat things which is a bit of a problem if that’s what the person doesn’t want/needs in that moment. 4. is there anyone in their life that throws optimism on them? Yes! A lot of her friends and Leon (at least starting out) are far more optimistic about things. 5. were they always optimistic? Nah, she’s always been pretty pessimistic.

N: Never Have I Ever 1. what would they never do? Betray her beliefs! Even if someone she loves asked her to. 2. what have they never done that they want to do? Travel more in a nonwork capacity! In a more serious way, Cassie has seen so much of what human beings can inflict on each other that it never really shocks her at this point. In a more light-hearted way, she can’t believe people eat eggs with ketchup. 4. what is the most embarrassing thing they’ve done? Cassie doesn’t get embarrassed too easily in her adult life but she definitely was a bit dorky in middle school/highschool so probably something that we’ve all done like said smth goofy to her crush or whatever. 5. have they done anything they thought they’d never do? Yes, constantly. Ever since Racoon City, it’s kind of pushed her to a place she would never have imagined she’d be in. What matters to her is that she still holds to her morals even when shooting zombies in the face. She just kind of had to adjust her morals a little bit to face that.

Besides roasting all of the Samurai songs in front of Johnny? Savage by Megan thee Stallion is definitely a jam of hers. 4. are they happy often? Prior to the ending of the game, yes but fleetingly? She always wanted more and more and more. After the end game, she heals slowly and learns how to be truly happy. 5. what brings them the most joy in the world? Johnny and her other loved ones...corny ass...😒🥰

O: Optimism 1. are they optimistic or pessimistic? Definitely optimistic! That bites her in the ass when she gets shot in the face and left in the dump so uh...THAT definitely makes her a little more pessimistic. 2. are they openly optimistic, throwing it on others? Lmao definitely. Her and Jackie together always getting drunk and talking up about how they’re going to make it with everybody. :( 3. are they good at giving advice? Vera’s advice a lot of the time is “kill him” or “dump him” so...you decide. 4. is there anyone in their life that throws optimism on them? Not throws optimism at her but more so helps Vera see that she’s worth more than dying young and being a fleeting memory in a fast city. Like Viktor, Misty, River, Panam... 5. were they always optimistic? Honestly, Vera became an optimistic in her early years almost to cope with the sad reality of her upbringing? She saw so much bad shit going around and was like but I’m going to make it. My life is not going to be this way.

H: Heat 1. do they rather a hot or cold room? Hot! Loves to be warm and wandering around in shorts and a tank top. It drives Johnny nuts because he prefers being colder and hates the heat (probably because he wears so much fucking leather...dumbass). 2. do they prefer summer or winter? Summer! Fond memories of breaking open fire hydrants as a kid. Eating dollar ice pops from the ice cream truck and sitting on the curb chucking rocks at cars going by. 3. do they like the snow? No way lmao. A: Aptitude 1. What are your oc’s natural abilities, things they’ve been doing since young? Well as far as natural goes, she’s always been good at digging up details and exploring things. She’s always had the ability to read people as well and has always been able to manipulate her way through situations.  2. What activities have they participated in? Does being a Science Experiment count as an activity? She’s certainly not had the chance to join clubs or extracurricular but she’s managed to find people who have taught her how to Hack and code on the side. Aside from that she’s assisted with other experiments.  3. What abilities do they have that they’ve worked for? By work she’s had to gain control over them but that would be her Telekinesis mostly. She’s also worked to learn how to fight with her fan-blades, combat is a skill no?

Much like above, black bed, blue carpet, vanity, antique looking mirrors, books strewn about etc..and then probably some high tech laptop xD 4. what type of clothes and accessories do they wear? She usually wears some type of dress or long sweater dress w/ leggings type of outfits. But she does get into her crazy sci-fi armor mode at times with metallic bands and alien-esque designs. I’m not sure that she’s into trends but if she’s browsing and finds a look that she likes she bound to try it out with her own twist to it.

Not in her earlier years, and I wouldn’t say a lot but she does jump at any chance to get out when she can in later years or certain verses. 

G: Gorgeous 1. what is their most attractive external feature? Oof, I’d rather someone else answer but I would say her eyes? They’re very prominent .  2. what is the most attractive part of their personality? Sly, cunning, seductive. I know people like the tease and the mystery. 3. what benefits come with being their friend? Extreme favors and definitely protection. Need anything that science can create? She likes her loyalty and strength but she dislikes her alien side and does what she can to hide it from others.  5. what parts of others do they envy? She doesn’t. In her mind she’s Perfect and has been conditioned that way.

Winter:

Tae Joon gets cold very easily. He's skinny and has poor circulation, so he usually has to bundle up. Elliott likes to dress him up himself: thick jackets, comfortable sweaters, his own scarves, cute hats, and pretty gloves.

Whenever they go out, Elliott absolutely loves to hold his hand. He's much warmer than Tae Joon, so the hacker tends to gravitate towards him more to warm up.

If it's not too cold, Elliott asks if Tae Joon would like to go outside and play in the snow. He'll usually agree and they'll make snowmen and snow angels, or even go as far as to make snow sculptures. Elliott always says his are a masterpiece, but they either fall apart or appear slightly misshapen. Tae Joon is an artist, and he's messed around with sculpting in his past, so his look much better. Elliott, of course, praises the ever-loving shit out of them.

Hot chocolate! As soon as the first snowflake falls, Elliott is making hot chocolate for him and Tae Joon to enjoy.

Elliott tends to wear big sweaters during winter, and Tae Joon himself wears turtlenecks. Sometimes, though, his turtlenecks aren't warm enough, so Tae Joon steals Elliott's sweaters on occasion.

Elliott's one for clichés, so they're typically found relaxing on the couch with a fire roaring in the back, snuggled under blankets with their hot chocolate in hand.

Fall:

The leaves are changing, and the weather is cooling—of course Elliott is going to want to drag Tae Joon out to enjoy the autumn weather.

It hasn't gotten chilly to the point of intolerance, so Tae Joon usually joins Elliott outside a lot more. He has a preference for cooler weather anyway, even if he can't exactly handle it well.

One can always smell cinnamon on either one of them. The scent is stuck to them from being prominent in their home. Cinnamon-scented candles and food using the spice—they absolutely litter their home during the fall, and Tae Joon can't tell if he hates it or not.

Tae Joon's usually the one raking leaves outside—only for his childish boyfriend to rush in and jump in whatever pile he made. Tae Joon gets to laugh, though, when a stick jabs into Elliott's back and he whines about it.

Weekly coffee dates. Elliott doesn't drink coffee much, but Tae Joon has a taste for the flavors of coffee during autumn, so they'll go out every week and get a new flavor every time.

Horror movie marathons happen during around this time as well. They opt for cheesier, older flics so Elliott doesn't stay up for weeks without a wink of sleep. They usually end up laughing at how bad it is or getting engrossed in the plot.

Summer:

Elliott hates the heat. It's too hot, and he, the human heater, ends up in a tank top and shorts. Tae Joon, the human ice cube, is usually in loose pants and a thin jacket.

Only one of them is fond of the beach, though. Elliott is confidence incarnate and deals with enamored stares that he brushes off. Tae Joon is hidden under an umbrella with his phone out.

Elliott likes to pick him up and throw him into the water, though. Helps him "perk up."

Elliott gets banned from the bed a lot during the summer.

Summer is usually the time of the year they spend more time with their friends and family, visiting their respective mothers for a few weeks before returning to hang with their friends.

Tae Joon's not particularly sociable, but Elliott is, so he tries to help him break out of that little shell of his.

It goes horribly.

Tae Joon prefers being with his boyfriend. Being with other people is… tiresome. He can only really tolerate one social butterfly, and that's Elliott.

Spring:

It's the time of the year for flowers! Elliott doesn't have an extravagant one, but he does tend to a small garden every year at his mother's home that she takes over during some of the summer. Now that he's dating Tae Joon, he tends to make small bouquets using the flowers he grows himself.

He learned the language of flowers (of course he did), so he always makes bouquets with meaning and messages. They fly over Tae Joon's head, but the effort is still appreciated.

Elliott's much more active during spring as well. Not too cold, not too hot—he can exercise more without overheating and Tae Joon can join him without freezing to death. They try to work on Tae Joon's weight during spring and summer as well, help him build muscle more.

Lots of nights where Tae Joon comes home to candlelit dinners and rose petals scattered about. Elliott's cliché factor is multiplied during springtime for some reason.

They visit pet zoos because Elliott wanted to pet a bunny. There's no other reason.

Elliott also buys the Reese's eggs because he's convinced they "taste better" than regular Reese's. Tae Joon thinks he's full of shit.

I had a bunch more stuff I wanted to say about Faris and Natalia’s relationship in the Fraldarddyd family AU but I thought it would be easier on everyone to put all my thoughts in one submissions instead of sending a dozen asks this time. Also, lol, I can’t believe I keep coincidentally giving these characters the names of your relatives, what the heck???

Let’s just go over Faris first. He’s a friendly and social guy. He’s obsessed with the stars and can talk about them for hours if given the chance. He’s a smart guy and super politically savvy, perfectly at home in even the most cutthroat political climates. He’s known to be very mischievous and prone to pranks, though the less he likes you then the harsher his pranks can be. He and Natalia are the same age but he’s a couple months younger, which she loves to hold over him especially after he grows taller than her. He and Zain are pretty close despite Zain loving to give his little brother shit whenever possible. I see him being magically gifted, so I imagine him as a Warlock. I see him mainly taking after Claude in terms of looks (I don’t really have a spouse in mind for Claude in this AU so I’m leaving that part kinda vague).

Strengths – Reason, Authority; Weaknesses – Axe, Brawl, Heavy Armor; Budding Talent - Lance

Zain is two years older than Faris and basically anyone who meets him considers him a stern and serious no-nonsense kind of crown prince. This is how he’s like around most people. However he allows himself to relax and show off a much more playful, emotional, teasing side around people he trusts wholeheartedly (his immediate family and a small handful of friends). He resembles his brother in having the same eye color and skin tone, but Zain looks much more rugged and mature. Unlike Faris he is perfectly at home on the battlefield, being a renowned Sniper with plenty of victories to his name. He never became a Barbarossa like his dad cause he’s scared of heights. He enjoys the ocean a ton, so he’s always up for ocean voyages and will take any and every chance to explore coastlines.

Strengths - Bow, Axe, Authority; Weaknesses – Faith, Flying; Budding Talent - Riding

The whole engagement thing between Faris and Natalia is largely unofficial and both sides mainly just want their kids to become close to promote good relations between Fodlan and Almyra. Although things would really work out the best if the pair did become romantically involved but no one is really pushy about it. Especially since Faris and Natalia just do NOT like each other. Honestly the only thing stopping the first meeting between the royal children from being a complete disaster is that both Faris and Zain quickly become attached to Artemis (prince of stealing hearts without even trying). Faris and Artemis latch onto each other since they have so much in common (second princes, good at magic, similar weaknesses, bookworms, etc) while Zain ends up considering Artemis like another little brother while Artemis really look up to Zain (it’s thanks to Zain that Artemis’ budding talent is bows). Also Zain actually ends up being friendly with Natalia too (he likes her strong, honest personality and honestly he finds the disaster that is hers and Faris’ relationship hilarious, plus she thinks he’s super cool and likes sparring with him). So it’s literally just Natalia and Faris at odds with each other.

“If you like Artemis so much, why don’t you marry him instead?!” “Maybe I will!” “Fine!” “Fine!” “FINE!” “FINE!!!” *Zain and Artemis in the background, talking about their favorite desserts and not getting involved in their siblings’ fight*

“Claude I’m starting to doubt if this will work out. The two of them hate each other.” “Well Felix hated you plenty for a few years and look at you now. Adorable little lovebirds, a love story perfect for the bards to sing of!” “Listen here you little-” “Felix please.”

In order to try and help Natalia and Faris get along they’re both sent to visit each other’s homeland a bunch over the years. Occasionally the whole family goes but the rulers can’t keep running off all the time. So most of the time it’s Natalia (and Artemis because Natalia barricaded herself in her room until her dads agreed to let her take Artemis along “to see that stupid Faris’ face”) visiting Almyra for several weeks and then a little while later it’s Faris visiting Fodlan, particularly Faerghus, for several weeks (only bringing Zain when he’s in a particularly bad mood thanks to Natalia since Zain keeps making fun of him otherwise).

Faris is kinda sorta okay when he’s in Faerghus, even though it’s absurdly cold most of the time. Hell, every time he thinks he’s wearing enough the weather proves him wrong. Natalia keeps laughing at him when he has to dress up like a marshmallow in order to go out in Faerghus winters. Natalia is very brutal in snowball fights…RIP Faris. He definitely prefers to stay inside by the fireplace, though Natalia is insistent on dragging him outside. It usually ends in him spending the last few days of his stay sick in bed.

Natalia, like Dimitri, is dead in heat so every time she goes to Almyra she spends around a week just laying on her bed wearing as little as proper manners will allow. Faris alternates between “helping” by practicing his ice magic on her or otherwise relying on her need to do better than him to goad her into playing with him. Though he had to lay off on that after Natalia got heatstroke once.

Natalia considers it a personal insult that her beloved horse absolutely adores Faris when he’s usually very picky about who he allows near him (“Ares, how could you do this to me?!” *neighs* “Oh don’t give me that attitude young man!”)

Faris, in the meanwhile, is not pleased by how his retainers-in-the-making are absolutely smitten with Natalia (“Did you see her in yesterday’s spar with the new recruits? She could break my spine and I’d thank her.” “Please, sweet embrace of death, come for me.”)

Artemis and Zain start being regular pen pals as they compare archery notes, seek advice from one prince to another, talk about recent events in their homeland and in their lives, and complain about their siblings/commentate on whether or not they’ll get together.

“I don’t know, Zain, after that incident with the birds Sister said, and I quote, ‘The next time I see that scrawny piece of *ahem* garbage, he’s dead. Almyra will be down a prince and they’ll be all the better for it.’ So I’m saying no.” “I’d agree with you, especially since Faris has been disturbingly interested in researching dark magic after eating those ‘super special Faerghus delicacies’ Natalia brought last time. But for as social as he is my brother is normally never so obsessed with anyone, so I think we may have a romance for the ages on our hands, my friend!”

The two of them play PLENTY of stupid pranks on each other over the years. Sometimes they flat out got into physical fights with each other. The people of Fodlan and Almyra have long since gotten used to the sound of Faris and Natalia yelling at each other and then the sound of crashing and punching.

That being said, not everything was bad between them. That one time Natalia got heatstroke, Faris was genuinely apologetic and worried about her and kept her company while she was bedridden. Likewise Natalia does feel bad when she keeps getting Faris sick while trying to show off Faerghus to him and will read him adventure stories to pass the time. Also I love the idea you mentioned of Faris trying to help Natalia get over her low spice intolerance (to mixed results, Natalia’s just glad she no longer downs an entire pitcher of water on her own after eating Almyran food). One time when a Faerghus noble child made a snide remark about Faris being Almyran, Natalia tackled the brat to the ground.

Faris, holding a tissue to Natalia’s bloody nose: “I thought you didn’t like me.” Natalia, very obviously confused: “??? What does not liking you have to do with you being Almyran?” Faris: “Heh, I suppose you’re right for once.”

“Zain, I think I want to change my opinion. Sister and Faris may have more of a chance than I originally thought.” “What did I tell you, Artemis? Romance for the ages…”

As the years pass and Natalia and Faris both grow and mature and mellow out, the two of them start to consider each other friends. They speak more, debate more, discuss their interests more, and slowly start to enjoy spending time together. Eventually it gets to the point where the two of them joke around about their kinda sorta engagement to each other. Natalia singing the absolute worst love songs while Faris writes the cheesiest poetry and love letters imaginable. Calling each other cutesy pet names, those kind of shenanigans.

Honestly, they mostly do it just to fuck with poor Zain and Artemis, who didn’t ask for this bullshit but are stuck with it anyways.

“Artemis, I need you to kill me, I can’t tolerate them anymore.” “Come now, Zain, it’s not so bad! Hey, why don’t we go for a ride on Altena? That always calms me down!” “I cannot stress enough how much I would rather die than do that…” “What are you trying to say about my sweet Altena, huh?” “Would you stop taking it as an insult against your wyvern every time?!”

Natalia starts teaching Faris about fighting with lances. And Faris helps Natalia grow more used to handling politics.

Honestly, there was something special growing between them for quite some time after they started getting along better, but neither of them really recognized what it could be. But they kept getting closer and closer as time passed. At public events they stuck by each other’s side and often danced together. They were seen going off on rides together or just taking walks while talking.

Faris is the first one to recognize his feelings when he comes along to help Natalia out with a skirmish. The pair make a great team in battle, covering for each other’s weaknesses well. Faris, too exhausted after a large number of enemies surrounded him, is almost taken down from behind when Natalia saves him. His joke has a fair amount of relief and gratitude in it when he says “Thanks for the help, sweetheart!” But WOW when Natalia turns to him with the most dazzling smile on her face, looking like she practically glowing with the sun behind her, Faris feels like his heart stops. “Anytime, honey!” And Faris just keeps staring after her as she rushes off after another enemy.

Natalia was always pretty but Faris has never actually acknowledged how pretty until that moment. And his heart won’t stop racing, her smile and voice still in his head. And oh fuck, oh shit, he knows exactly what this is…

“Zain, you umm…you wouldn’t happen to know when the next visit to Fodlan is, would you?” “…Why do you ask, my dear little brother? :))))))” “…Are you going to tell Arty about this?” *Zain, pulling out a piece of parchment and quill* “What gives you that idea????”

Faris regrets everything when his parents and brother don’t let him live it down that he’s now realized he’s in love with Natalia. “Whatever happened to ‘I’d rather become a hermit and die alone and unloved on a barren mountain than ever marry her’ Faris? Seven-year-old you was soooo dramatic!” “Father, please.”

Things don’t change too significantly after Faris’ realization. But there are changes. He’s noticeably softer around Natalia, smiling gently around her or going along with her wishes more easily. Most of his pranks towards her tone down to being things that give her pleasant surprises. The most significant change comes from the love letters and poems purposefully written badly for jokes slowly becoming more sincere sounding and really sweet.

Natalia doesn’t know what to make of the changes. They’re odd but she’s more surprised by how much she enjoys it. She even reads Faris’ letters and poems over and over well into the night. A warm and peaceful feeling spreads through her every time she gets a new letter from Faris or he holds her closer than usual during a dance.

She doesn’t realize it’s love until sometime later when she visits Almyra. Faris is so bright and excited as he drags her outside in the dead of night because the skies are so clear that you can see way more stars than normal and it’s soooo beautiful. Faris happily explains the stories behind all the different constellations and laughs so happily recalling some of his favorite tales. Natalia stares and stares at him and thinks that she could watch him smile and laugh like that forever. ABCs of your OC: C,H,L,T for Baby please

Oh sweet! This is long so let’s do this!

C: Comfort1. how do they sit in a chair?

Baby sits with her legs together. Sometimes she crosses one over the other (which Mox loves because she has great legs thanks to her cheerleading)

2. in what position do they sleep?

She sleeps on her side as the little spoon. One the rare occasion she sleeps on her back, it’s because Mox’s head is between her boobs or on her stomach and he’s like snuggling for softness and warmth.

3. what is their ideal comfort day?

Just hanging out and being lazy. Indoors or outdoors, as long as she’s with Mox it’s an ideal comfort day. Snuggling on a couch watching nonsense or just reading while he naps on her lap is always sweet.

4. what is their major comfort food? why?

Chocolates and sweets. Baby has a sweet tooth so any time he can eat a sweet is comforting to her.

5. who is the best at comforting them when down?

Obviously Mox (and a secret third “character” that I have yet to write for just yet”. Mox is actually very sweet and concerned when it comes to Baby and how she is feeling.

H: Heat1. do they rather a hot or cold room?

Cold room. Cold room means more snuggles. Cold room means Baby gets to bring out the heavy blankets and be held by her sweet boyfriend any time she shivers (sometimes she fakes it just so she can be held.

2. do they prefer summer or winter?

Winter. Baby thinks that the winter time is absolutely magical. Especially with Christmas. She has a twinkle in her eyes and is all holly jolly.

3. do they like the snow?

Baby LOVES snow. How pretty the white flakes are as they fall on her and she just looks like a winter angel.

4. do they have a favorite summer activity?

Baby loved summer camp as a kid. Getting to make friends and just live in a cabin and do camp things. As an adult she loves just going on and playing sports and going to lakes and stuff just being a summer wild child.

5. do they have a favorite winter activity?

Playing in the snow. She loves snowball fights and making snow angels and snowmen. Just getting her hands on snow is comforting.

L: Lemons1. what is their favorite fruit?

Strawberries. A classic and sweet taste that just pairs well with Baby.

2. what is their least favorite fruit?

Kiwi. She doesn’t like how the seeds get in her teeth. Also bananas because Mox is allergic to them.

3. are there any foods they hate?

Not really. Baby isn’t a picky eater, she actually loves any and all foods. She has an impressive appetite and loves going on food runs with her friends.

4. do they have any food intolerances?

None that I can think of

5. what is their favorite food?

A good ol’ gooey cheesed pizza.

T: Truth1. are they honest?

Very. She tries to be as honest, but considerate as she can be. She’s also a terrible liar which can make things hard at times.

2. can they tell if someone is lying?

Not really. Baby has been told that she can be a bit gullible at times, but that’s because kind nature that often gets taken advantage of.

3. is it obvious when they’re lying?

VERY. She is not a good lair or actor. She’s very stiff and obvious. She’s nervous and can’t look a person in the eye even when she knows it’s better to lie.

4. have they lied about anything they regret lying about?

As a little girl she once laid on behalf of Brock who was bullying her, but it was more out of fear than anything else. She regretted it because Brock would just bully her even more, until Mox came around to protect her.

5. have they told truths that have been spread against their will?

She hopes not. Whenever someone tells Baby in confidence, she keeps it. She hopes when she tells something that the same is done for her. But sometimes she makes the mistake of telling the cheerleading squad a crush or something about her love life, it spreads rather quickly to the male population.

Have you ever actually drank warm milk? I’m lactose intolerant so I can count on two hands all the times I’ve drank just milk...and there’s probably one or two times I had it warm. No. In fact the reason why I’d watch certain movies or shows too many times is because I never get sick of them. What about songs you've heard so many times you hate them? There’s this song on the radio that has the lyric ‘2002′ in it - literally the most annoying song I can think of at the moment. Also Party for One or whatever it’s called by Carly Rae Jepsen. If you could look like any celebrity, which one would it be? I don’t really actively wish I look like any of them haha. But Marion Cotillard, Emma Stone, and Natalie Portman are all really pretty. It was a month after I turned 18, it was at Kaira’s party, and I felt left out because everyone was drinking and I was the only one there who had never had a sip. I was terrified to try because up until that point, my only impression of alcohol in general was that it made my family monsters. They said it would be different and I had nothing to be scared of, so I ended up trying a margarita and it was sooooooo good. Do you wear socks under your slippers? This is gonna sound morbid but I recently read about how JFK had a sister who was a little on the mentally-delayed side, and how she was given a lobotomy to supposedly fix her brain but they ended up completely fucking it over, and because they hit the wrong part of her brain she ended up having the same intelligence as a 2 year old for the rest of her life. 2. Do they have any titles? How did they get them?

Claire: She did earn the title of a Radolinian knight, serving knyaginya Radolinskaya during the war. That title was given not to only acknowledge her achievements, but also to bring the people’s attention to an aristocrat fighting among them and boost their morale. Later, when she comes back home, she also takes a pretty high position, but it’s more connected to her heritage rather than a particular title.Lessie: Lessie proclaimed themselves and their sibling ailerons to unite the country under their rule. Basically it’s supposed to mean ailerons are wings that will take the whole empire (aileronium) to utopian land.Before that they had the title of the hylcion priest, a religious figure that also came to be a puppet in aristocracy’s hands, but only for a short while, before establishing a new system.

6. What were they like at school? Did they enjoy it? Did they finish? What level of higher education did they reach? What subjects did they enjoy? Which did they hate?

Ough at the time when Lessie and Claire where alive… there wasn’t really any good chance for them to get proper education. According Claire’s family’s tradition, she was only supposed to study literature, poetry and music. Claire didn’t enjoy either, and since she’s never known the joy of studying because of strict, often cruel instructors, she ended up not being interested in other fields too, assuming she’s just bad at everything and it’s not worth trying.Lessie is of no noble descent, and while they did recieve some home schooling, they didn’t really go to a School, and never wanted to. They’re only interested in what seems useful for them, and even then they’re pretty quick to jump to practise instead of burrying themselves in books.

8. Did they have pets as a child? Do they have pets as an adult? Do they like animals? 

Nno, neither of them had any pets, I’m afraid.Claire’s wary of anything bigger than a dog and likes cute little mammals or baby animals like lambs, but never had neither a chance nor confidence to actually have any pets of her own.Lessie does like animals and isn’t that bad with them, but still prefers watching them from afar rather than keeping one as a pet.

11. Do they have any special diet requirements? Are they a vegetarian? Vegan? Have any allergies?

I’m pretty sure Claire would have a pretty weak stomach, but I haven’t looked into this enough to confirm she has an intolerance to anything. Pretty sure she’d have some basic allergy like to cats or something.Lessie can eat a leather shoe and enjoy it.

25. What do they find funny? Do they have a good sense of humour? Are they funny themselves?

Wouldn’t say Claire has a good sense of humour, and even with jokes/comedy plays she can miss the point where everyone’s supposed to laugh and just take everything seriously, so unless she’s in a company that’s already having fun, she’s unlikely to laugh or even smile at jokes.Lessie is kinda similar to Claire in this sense actually, as in if they’re next to someone who has a contagious laugh, they can find anything funny, from puns to inappropriate jokes, and sometimes that even includes making fun of someone else if they get carried away. They also joke way more around someone they like, but other than that they wouldnt be the entertainer of a friend group.

44. What is their favourite season? Type of weather? Are they good in the cold or the heat? What weather do they complain in the most? 

Spring for Claire and summer for Lessie!Claire is perfectly fine with cold weather, but winter still makes her depressed with its cold whiteness and sleeping plants, while spring seems inspiring and also refreshingly windy. Also she’s not really the complaining type, but she would sulk under hot sun.Lessie doesn’t like even a slight drop in temperature, and honestly would prefer to live a life full of clear days.
