Dramatical Murder Battling NU Carnival

As a fan of both Dmmd & Nucarnival, yknow, I just had to.

If the 2 harems were to actually go into hand to hand combat.... Dmmd has only half as many people, Nukani has Kuya & Blade. And Eiden cannot fight period, so it'd be unfair. what i think might be more fair is paired off fights.

Clear vs Blade: Duh i had to do this. OG android vs new generation android. White-haired battle singing autism robot that calls their love interest a nickname vs white-haired battle singing autism robot that calls their love interest a nickname. 2012 sex robot learning human feelings vs 2022 sex robot learning human feelings. Cute service top with a depressing backstory vs cute service top with a depressing backstory. I think Blade would win by a landslide. Assassin Blade's biggest advantage is his durability combined with combat skills. In story (NOT game units) he can deal a shit ton of damage, take a shit ton of hits and instaheals super quickly. Meanwhile Clear also has great combat skills, but slower self healing and he is defective with a history of being damaged. So technically an unfair fight.

Koujaku vs Edmond: Both normal human swordfighters, ofc I also had to do this. I feel like their skills are matched for what they can, however Koujaku is a gang leader and is willing to get rough and Edmond... is a prim and proper(lol) knight for the most part. And if Koujaku went into Beast!jaku mode... well yeah Edmond's definitely lost.

Mink vs Quincy: the 2 big quiet traumatized depressed daddies whose communities died/were killed. I wanna say this would end up being a draw because Mink is a normal human that can be injured or killed, meanwhile Quincy is kind of immortal but has low motivation to fight unless he gets involved. if he had to, I'd imagine Quincy is supernaturally stronger though.

Rhyme Ren vs Garu/Karu: ok I'm just pitting them against each other cause they're the Dogs. However, although Garu/Karu is a survivalist, their stamina SUCKS & their fighting seems just passable. I love garu&karu, but Ren could 1HKO them. (Ren is also bigger, stronger, and more experienced than them so this is also an unfair fight.)

Noiz vs Dante: Originally I was gonna pair Noiz with Rei since they're both slightly apathetic special interest knowledge people, but Rei isn't really a melee hand to hand combat fighter. Dante can fight, and he has an advantage being bigger, more muscular, & having magic powers. (Interestingly, they're also both the youngest in their respective casts haha.)

Aoba vs Eiden...? The protagonists. However, this is also unfair fight cause um Eiden can't fight for shit and was recently a desk job worker lol. Whereas Aoba was a helluva punk, can still fight on his own, and has supernatural powers.

Ok now for fights that might be on even skill fighting levels and not just pairs.

Blade vs Scratch gang + the Alphas: Considering that Blade has been able to level entire battle fields and kill multiple sorcerers, I think this might give him a tough fight, even if he wins in the end. I will say, this also might depend on what weapons Scratch are carrying and how bulletproof Blade is. The "essence conductors"/guns got taken away before we can see how Blade reacts to them, but if Scratch had their guns, they might be able to take out Blade. (We don't usually see Dry Juice or Benishigure use guns, so I mention Scratch).

Kuya vs Aoba, Sei, Clear, & the Alphas: Technically, Kuya is also far too powerful, however I don't think Kuya is ever seen doing weapon or hand to hand combat fighting. So if Aoba & Sei can subdue his magic.... then Clear & the Alphas could pummel his old man body xD

Rhyme Ren vs Olivine: Nice smart guys with super powers and also very buff. I think people forgot that Olivine is Strongk as heck. Not sure who would win, but Ren is more offensive focused (although Ren has a pretty good hp/shield in Rhyme) whereas every time Olivine fights he's more defensive/support focused (but still seems to pack a punch). Let me know if you have thoughts.

Aoba vs Garu/Karu: Ok not just because they're both feisty ukes who are the shortest in the cast with fantasy DID, but they are also speedsters, rely on kicks a lot, frequently faint a lot, and have low stamina. So i feel like this fight is more evenly matched than against Eiden or Ren. It'll also be interesting cause both Reason!Aoba & Desire!Aoba would be willing to fight rough, whereas Garu is not & only Karu would be willing to fight rough. However Desire!Aoba would be willing to use Scrap on Garu/Karu whereas Reason!Aoba would not. Also, Aoba is 7cm taller than Garu/Karu, but Garu/Karu are significantly more muscular than Aoba everywhere. I feel like whoever runs out of stamina first will be the loser.

Clear vs Edmond or Dante: xD I just wanted Clear to be able to beat someone. And he was able to beat many cops & guards before and Edmond is basically a cop.

Eiden vs Ren in Sei's body: I also wanted Eiden to be able to win against someone haha. And Ren in Sei's body doesn't have Sei's powers, so they can probably do some comedic whacks at each other haha.

I know I've left out Yakumo, Rei, Aster, and Morvay. But i couldn't come up with anything for them, esp since they're more magical than melee combat (and not the same level as Kuya). Anyone have suggestions?

It is my day off from work today, and because I have cleaned my room during the morning. My body got tired and so I'd slept at the afternoon. I set an alarm at 5:30 PM because I will be heading to the laundry shop, however it rained. So, I just stayed at room and look for food instead.

Tonight rains heavily, so after I've had my dinner. I picked up my phone and scroll on to my fb account as pastime. Moments later, I felt sleepy already, so I go to bed again. But then, I had dreamed of something that wakes me up. So, I go straight to the CR to relieved myself. Gotten back to my room, I look to my clock and it is still 11:49 PM. I thought I had sleep long enough, but I have not. I only slept for about 2 hours or more. To my surprise, I searched on to the google if it's really the time or my clock was frozen. Instead of going back to bed, I scrolled on to my phone again and there's a lot of update from my review mates about the incoming LET results. Everytime I see a post about it, I would say 'very soon, LPT, by God's grace'.

After a couple of minutes, I decided to go to bed again since I still have work to do tomorrow. Anyways, I am a call center agent, graveyard shift. But, after a few times turning around and do all the sleep positions. I still can't be able to go back to sleep. There is still something that's running to my head. So, I stand up and step on my table and turn on my laptop. Instead of putting these emotions through my phone, I resort to typing it up on my laptop. I installed 'Tumblr' and begun to write what's on my head. Since then, when I was in high school. I do really find time making diaries of what I will be doing and what happened that day. So today, I started again what I normally do back then.

So, here goes the story.

During the pandemic, I travelled back home to New Israel where I lived with my grandparents. I was still having my online class that time and it is challenge for me to attend classes due to the weather is bad, power interruption, and intermittent internet connection. So one day, since I need materials for my kitchen lab experiment. I went to Kidapawan City to purchase all the lab apparatuses and materials. As I rode on the vehicle (multicab), I chose to the passenger seat next to the driver. And this driver was just finished having lunch. We waited for at least 15 minutes for other passengers before we leave Bulatukan.

As we go, the driver ask me

Driver: Sir, pwedi ko manigarilyo? Giluod man kos akong gikaon dras kanto.

Me: Sge lng kuya, nagamask man sad ko, basta sa imong left side lng ibuga imong sigarilyo.

Driver: Sge sir. Since nakamask man pod bitaw ka.

Moments later, the driver himself tend to initiate a conversation with me by flexing his car.

Driver: Diri ra gyud siguro ka makasakay sa akong multicab sir ba na hinlo, unya ang driver kay humot di manimaho'g ilok. Maligo man jud ko taga adlaw sir kay para presko sa mga pasahero ba.

And siyempre ako, wala nalang sad ko nikontra sa iyaha kay tinuod man sad. And so, I replied with appreciation.

Me: Bitaw kuya, murag well-maintained jud ang imong sakyanan.

Driver: Kinahanglan jud sir kay mao lng man gud ni akong panginabuhi og pangsustener sa akong tulo ka college na mga anak.

Me: Aah, asa man sila nag skwela karon diay po kuya?

Driver: And duha naku ka studyante, katong babae, naa sa USM-KCC nag skwela, 4th Year. Education to ilang kurso. Unya ang akong laki kay naa dira sa MIST nag skwela, 1st Year.

Me: Aah, maayo noon kuya kay college naman diay imong mga anak.

Driver: Lagi sir, pero dako na lagi kaayong gastuhonon. Pero, bintaha nalang jud siguro sa akong part kay wla nman ko nagabayad sa ilang tuition og boarding house kay naa ra man sila nagpuyo sa among balay. Ang problemahon nalang jud naku kay ang ilang allowance adlaw-adlaw kay tulo baya sila kabook pod.

Me: Ana jud na ya kay graduating naman diay imong anak. Daghan jud na sila ipaprint, parehas sa ilang thesis kay kanunay naay pang usabon ang ilang research adviser og kanang gamit nila sa pagtudlo kung nagsugod na ilang internship.

Driver: Mao diay sir? Usahay makasab an sad naku akong anak ba gumikan lagi kay gamay ra sad tag kita, mahutdan sad ko'g ikahatag. Makapangutana gud ko usahay kung gihubog-hubog ba nis akong anak akong kwarta o ilaag-laag ra ni nila? Pero bilib lang jud kos akong mga anak kay wala may bisyo, sama naku na musigarilyo.

Me: Aw, maayo noon diay ya. Bitaw ya, dakong advantage jud sa usa ka graduating student na anaay printer. Kay from time to time na naa sila'y kinahanglan iprint, maprint og mabuhat ra dayon na nila. And murag, taas taas pa tong nahisgutan namu sa driver during sa pag adto nakus Kidapwan. And I realized that day, unta naa sad pareho kay manong driver nga amahan, duna'y pangandoy sa iyang mga anak og andam na musuportar sa pagpaskwela sa iyang mga anak.

I grew up in a broken family, since kindergarten pa ko. I remember na niapil kos Christmas party namu during Day Care na wala ko'y dala because wla naman mi kwarta ato na time. Pero ako, decided jud ko muadto sa maong party. Maayo nalang jud kay naa ko'y iyaan na mao'y nagpalit sa akong gift and food during the event. Kay if wala, wala ko kabalo mag unsa ko didto's skwelahan.

Going back, wla na nku nakuha or napicturan ang multicab or nakuha ang name ni kuya driver. Siguro, he's in his late 40s or early 50s na. Don't get me wrong ha, I grew up man gud with my grandparents. Even naa ra akong amahan, pero di naku mabati nga usa siya ka ginikanan. But, thank God, I found that with my lolo and lola. I know we are not well off, pero I never seen them giving up on us. Sila ang nitindog na ginikanan sa amoa, inspite sa among kapobrehon. Although naa ko'y allowances sa akong pag skwela from scholarship. Pero naa jud tay time na madelay pag download ang among allowance and since online class man mi. Dili kay usahay, pero nagapangayo jud ko'g kwarta sa ilaha para makaattend sa klase. And what amazes me, even 25 pesos na nabilin na kwarta sa akong lolo, ihatag gihapon niya sa akoa kay para di daw ko mabiya sa klase. My grandparents especially my lolo is not very vocal about my studies, pero pag mahubog siya didto ra siya mag ingon about my achievements. Pero, number one motivator jud nku is akong lola. Always jud ni siya naay mga advices everytime mag uli ko from Davao.

And didto jud naku sila naappreciate during my review kay nag uli man ko before new year. Wala pa ko'y tulog ato na time. So, pag abot naku, si lolo lang og among silingan ang naa, kay sila ate and lola daw is naglakaw sa Kidapawan. Nag bless ra ko then nisulod sa balay, tapos nangagda sa ilaha na naay pan and bingka from Digos. Then, pagkahuman jud naku'g ilis, I slept sa room nila lola kay naa didto tanang banig og habol. Then, taud taud, nisulod si lolo asking unsa akong dala. I told him na naay pan and bingka from Digos, then nilili sa kwarto. Matulog ka?, he asked. Yes lo kay wala pa ko'y tulog. Around 12 noon na siguro ko nauli kay gikan ko'g Davao then lahos sa Kidapawan nalang sad. Then, pag abot kay tulog jud kaayo.

Then, later, mga 4pm siguro, I overheard akong lola and ate. Tapos, may step sister came. Nakadungog siya about my name, and she asked, kinsa na JunJun la? Imong kuya ba, naa dra sa kwarto natulog, she replied. So, she run to me and gave me hugs and kisses. Ambot oy, clingy kaayo ni siya. Spoiled man gud kaayo sa akoa. Anyways, nagdako man gud ni siya sa amoa, and ako ang tig bantay og very spoiled to me kay bisag unsay pangayuon. Tua palitan dayon. Number one na tigkuha sa akong mga biscuits and so on sa study table. Di pa na siya matulog og di ko mag merienda at night. So, ginatagaan nalang nku daan para matulog una. And nagasabay pod siya'g sulat sulat sa akong table while ako nag note taking sa among lecture sa morning or if nagabuhat ko'g assignment.

Going back sa akong grandparents, during that night sa akong pag uli. My lolo rarely talks about me jud na kami rang duha. Pero pagmata naku, they had dinner na. So, I ate muna, after that, I watched news with them. Then, my lolo said, you look thin, lahi ra tong wala pa ka nagtrabaho. Unsa diay oras imong duty na? I said, it starts from 4PM and ends in 2AM. Then, I will be heading back to my boarding house, and sleep at 2:45 or 3:00 A.M. I would wake up at 6:45 A.M. because I have my review class at 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 NN or so, or it might take up to 5:00 PM. Then he responded back, I see, sagdi lang, nagaampo jud bitaw ko na mupasar kas board exam nimu karong March 19, 2023. And I replied, mupasar lagi ko, basin pa gani mag Top kos LET. I said it with conviction. Pero, wala gud ko kabalo pas mahimong resulta kay this month pa man. Pero hoping, constantly praying, manifesting and claiming na By God's grace, mag LPT ta this May 2023. And such a bonus na kaayo jud siguro na mag top pa sa LET.

To cut this story, since it's aroung 2:47 A.M. naman in the morning. There's one thing I have realized, many of us would have told our problems to our parents/grandparents. It may be in a form of finances, in education, projects, mga kaaway sa schedule og atong mga naagian sa school, we told or share it to them about the hardships that we take. But they never told us about how hard they been trying and struggling just to provide, sustain and manage our home. I think, manong driver does not want to talk about it with his children because they are preoccupied with their studies and does not want to bother them with what adult problems experience. I've never ask if he still have a wife to discuss about it, or he just want to pour things over due to the responsibility he is dealing. Now that I am in an adulting stage, I slowly understand how hard it takes to earn a living and to provide your own needs. But, I am just thankful that I am slowly reciprocating back the sacrifices and hard work my grandparents had been through to earn a degree. The job that I have landed right now might not be the path that I am heading to and I have prepared in college. Still, I am grateful that through this job, I can be able to provide my grandparents the needs. And soon, by God's grace and by God's willing, I can be able to provide what they deserve to have, but that time, I will be a License Professional Teacher. And I am constantly praying and claiming it this month, May 2023.

So Lord, please prepare me for what I am praying for.

i haven’t played all events or unlocked all intimacy rooms so i might be missing some lore, but there’s a couple factors to this. We dont know how many people were in the original clan i dont think? Aster is only 100~ years old. if Huey started the alter regulating some time before making Aster, and typically 100 years = 4 generations, that would mean approximately 4 generations of human clan members or only 1-3 generations of longer lived species clan members, and we know at least 1 immortal OG clan member is still alive (kuya).

So with this, we can deduce that clan members seem to live really long lives (Rei, quincy) or be immortals (kuya) or yokai who usually live long lives unless they get killed (yakumo, garu, great serpent*). Its only the human members that have any concern with not enough for each generation, in which the immortal members could make up for it in the meantime.

*i think great serpent was an OG clan member right? or just a friend of huey?

ok guys does anyone know how the fuck inheriting gemstones works cus mfs are like "i was born with this gemstone" doesnt that imply that their parents didnt have one ? so do the gemstones skip a generation?? but surely that wouldnt work bcus then the people in the no gemstone generation could just die and never pass it on ? but if ur born with a gemstone and ur parent also has a gemstone is there just an extra clan member chilling for a while ??? or like

YEP and I noticed at least w Olivine and Yakumo IT'S THE SAME SCENE AS THEIR IN CHAPTER SCENE (ch 2 yakumo, ch 4 Olivine) just different texts like where's the flavor?? At least Garu's has a different animation idk about the others yet riip

yeah :/ i was soooo pissed when i found that out bc yakumo was the first character i unlocked a scene for and he’s my fave. i was soooo excited for a new scene w him, only to find it’s literally exactly the same, with less clothes and no penetration lol. 

i was so disappointed that they were re-used scenes. i understand that it’s hard to produce art and voice acting so i get it to some extent but w the new scenes its just silly? like it’s literally 5 minute foreplay across MULTIPLE characters (e.g. olivine, edmond, etc.) that should NOT cost a key or 30 shards. those could be like in-between scenes or something, not something that costs a key. if you’re f2p, keys are quite hard to come by late game. plus you can literally only buy one of each kind a month so if that was your one water key and you wasted it on that scene? bye

i have every ssr (across diff accounts) and it’s actually the same, at least for all the original ssrs :/ garu’s 5 key one is the same as his chapter scene from what i’ve seen, just w/ karu. i’d need to check for og kuya & quincy, but i’m 90% sure it’s the same, either for the single key or 5 key

it’s definitely frustrating since we don’t get any sort of preview of what happens like had i known it wouldve been like that i probably wouldn’t have spent a key. while the new designs are GORGEOUS i’m really reluctant on high investment bc it’s like we spend all this time grinding for what? a scene where nothing actually happens?

today was both fun and painful. though i think i am surprised of what i saw. but i think i am okay now. i dont want to make that a reason i am unhappy today. thats the only thing that made this day a little devastating. but despite that i am genuinely happy. one of the best days of 2020. 

however, i actually think of not waiting for you anymore. i want to totally moved on from you. because i feel wala na naman mapapatutunguhan. i should’ve accepted it a long time ago. why did i still choose to wait when one of the reasons i let you go is that i am really hurt by you. maybe thats where our story ends. maybe you are just a companion towards the person i am meant to be with. or the companion that taught me to be myself and love myself despite of my flaws. and i thank you for that. i may not still be able to realize why we didnt work out and why we fell apart. but i know for sure, everything will make sense. and only God can tell. still, thank you for coming to my life and left a lesson.

Summary: This wasn’t what Mari and her crazy bunch were expecting when they came to visit the Hamilton exhibit with a goal to temporarily bring life to the wax statues to have a talk with them; instead however, they just brought back one guy back from the dead. Let the madness begin.

Setting: The local Alexander Hamilton (more of the musical than the real life stuff) exhibit in a museum at Daly City, California, January 3, 2019

Notes: This is the story of how Mari and Philip met: permanently bringing him back from the dead thanks to Ahkmenrah’s magic tablet. Inspired by the Don’t Be Shocked When Your Hist’ry Book Mentions Me series in Archive of Our Own. It’s ‘future is shocking’ with a heavy dose of curiosity intrigues the cat. The cast used for this story and Mari’s world are the OG Broadway cast. I was listening to Evanescence’s Bring Me to Life (Synthesis version) while thinking of this story.

“Is there any good reason why you had to smuggle in that tablet of yours for just an exhibit on one of the Founding Fathers of the United States of America, huh, Ahk?” Mari questioned the forever youthful pharaoh’s sanity as he pulled out his magic tablet from his messenger bag in their group (which composed of them, Harry, Issa, Kirby, Kairi, and Karina)’s presence during a visit at the Alexander Hamilton exhibit featuring the wax statues of the people around the First Secretary of Treasury based on the original Hamilton Broadway cast on display in a local Daly City museum.

“Mari, I understand that you’re quite peeved on the fact I had to lunge this thing around to the exhibit for seemingly no good reason, but I thought it would be interesting to talk with the figures for just one day,” Ahk tried to explain his reasoning behind the tablet tagging along.

“Errr… Would that be considered necromancy?” Karina asked him out of concern with fear in the tone of her voice.

“Maybe Ahk is up to something: crazy but still a genius idea,” Issa tried her best to sound hopeful that Ahk knew what he’s doing, “After all, Harry accidentally returned him back to life with that tablet of his when we visited the other local museum years back.”

Ahkmenrah, the former Fourth King of the Fourth King, didn’t pay too much attention to the bickering the girls were having, just making sure that his tablet, the only thing he has left in his connection to his previous life in Egypt’s past, wouldn’t go missing from his sight. Harry should’ve kept his mouth shut about this portion when he nonchalantly mentioned the tablet incident of Ahk’s revival during the exhibit visit planning and he (Ahk) was like ‘Well, why not try it on the wax figures for one day there, Harry?’. Holy shit, the Boy Who Lived was in trouble for sure.

The wax figures in front of them were rendered so life-like as if the artist behind them was able to capture the old Broadway cast frozen at one moment in time. Even the costumes they wear for the exhibit could easily be mistaken for the ones used in the original production in New York City and straight from the 18th Century to the 19th Century; it was quite surreal for Mari, Harry, Kairi, Issa, and Kirby to see them face to face as they have seen the play before in their most recent trip to the Big Apple for the New Year celebrations. Mari though was more morbidly curious than she wanted to admit as she spotted one figure looking like they’ve seen something bad in their line of sight.

That one wax figure in particular catching Mari’s eyes was a young slender man, handsome and quite tall for his age: a head of untamed manly brown black curls, soulful hazel eyes, light brown skin (? Wasn’t the real life man he was based supposed to be white? Oh never mind!), and freckles on the face. Mari felt as if she was drawn to the figure, like a curious moth drawn to the flame and like fate, only weirder that she has fallen hard for a wax statue.

“Hello, Earth to Mari!” Kairi was calling out to her adopted older sister, waving her arms frantically, to snap her out of her trance.

“Huh, what, what?” she shook her head after realizing her sister was right beside her, taking part of looking at the wax man with her.

“It seems that this guy has caught your attention, huh?”she giggled.

“Geez, Kairi,” Mari shrugged, “I mean, this fellow looks freaking cute. Too bad he’s… dead!”

“Gushing over a dead man like him, aren’t you, Mari?” Issa asked her.

Mari blushed in embarrassment, not knowing what to do with her strange feelings and her attraction to the stranger while Kairi and Issa were left dumb-folded on the matter without a single response.

“Poyo, poyo!” Kirby chatted with the wax man, tugging onto the left leg of his white stockings to try to get his attention.

“Kirby, that guy’s already dead for more than 2 centuries already,” Mari told him, which made the poor puffball sad to hear the news as she continued on, “Death by gun shot wound at only 19 years old.”

“Ouch! RIP Wax Guy in period clothing Mari just had a crush on,” Kairi prayed in concern.

Kirby understandably wept for the poor young man’s soul, salted tears running down on his spherical body. Issa went up to pick Kirby up in her arms, consoling him as she said to him it wasn’t the man’s fault that his life ended that way. On the other side of the story, Harry and Ahkmenrah were talking about the problems and concerns arising if they try to bring life to the wax figures for one day which went downhill from there.

“I can’t believe that I dragged everyone into this mess today,” Harry grumbled in his breath, “Seriously: What kind of a stupid plan did I just randomly blurted out loud? This is bloody stupid: bringing dead people to life for just one day!”

“Calm down, Harry,” Ahk tried to console his friend’s dilemma for suggesting a silly plan, “It is just temporary. Once we leave the exhibit, they’ll resume back to their original positions and return back to their still wax state. It’s not like we’re performing a necromancer’s ritual.”

“Ahk, you got to be kidding, mate!” the British wizard sternly yelled at him, “How are we going to explain to the exhibit staff & organizers and the people running the place if at least one of them goes missing? You said if a museum exhibit was left outside when the sun rises up, they’ll be reduced to dust!”

“True, but I did made sure that this one attempt was just a one-off, I swear to the Gods, Harry,” the ex pharaoh countered the argument, “Who knows: maybe the Doctor could get the chance to hear them speak if he’s here with us now.”

“Oh, you idiot!!!” “Harry, please! Just trust me on this...” “Shut up, okay!” “But it won’t hurt anyone in the end...”

Everyone in the group soon turned their eyes at Ahk and Harry playing a rough tug-of-war with the former’s tablet, fearing that it could break at any given moment. Mari was scared to see one of her great friends and her older brother arguing over something petty like temporarily giving life to a group of life-like wax figures. It was so bad she couldn’t hold her tears in great distress.

Unbeknownst to everyone involved, things would get weirder from there: while arguing inaudibly over the whole plan, Harry and Ahk unwittingly messed with the symbols on the tablet and aimed at the young wax man Mari took a great interest in. The girls and Kirby were horrified that the poor young wax figure was in the line of the tablet’s aim and, in a bold noble effort, tried to stop the two men from creating further fuel to the figurative fire: yelling “Guys, stop it! Don’t break that tablet beyond its limits AND kill each other at the same time!”, “Kuya Harry, don’t punch Ahk for this!”, “Harry, Ahk, no!!!”, “Can you guys just stop fighting and get a grip on yourselves before some serious shit happens?!?”, and “Poyo, poyo! Popoyo, poyo, yop, yoyopo, POYO!!!”

Sadly, it was all for nothing: the wizard and the pharaoh unwittingly sent a blast of golden light, hitting the wax man on the chest and knocking him back onto the floor with a great big THUD! It was that very moment that Harry and Ahk realized their grave mistake: the wax man was now lying down on the platform on his back with an extremely blank look in his face, as he was a wax statue after all. Everyone who didn’t took a part of the mess were now staring at the two of them being mad at them for being a bunch of idiots fighting over one tablet of all things.

There was deafening silence among the group and wax figures in that one room: not a single word or sound was made, everything in awkward silence. But the silence would not last for long…

While the group were staring at each other out of confusion and anger, the next thing they heard is a groaning voice as roars of life were emanating from the golden glow from Ahk’s tablet that hit one of the wax statutes earlier during Harry and Ahk’s arguing. They froze for a moment, blank stares everywhere, and turned around to see a sight they never expected to see. The wax young man, or rather the previously wax young man, was now struggling to get up on his own two feet, still lying on his back similar to that of a turtle upside down on its shell, and his limbs wailing around faster than a speeding Japanese bullet train.

“Umm… Hello, if you don’t mind, I could use some assistance over here,” the man cried out, “Where in the world I am in?”

“Mother of God...” Issa gasped in horror, “That man needs some help here! We better help him out.”

“But wasn’t that supposed to be the wax-” Kairi was about to counter the situation but it was vain when Harry regained some senses.

“There is no time to explain it to him right now, Kai!” he lectured her immediately, “We should help this guy out first, then we can break the… unpleasant news to him later.”

“Poyo...” Kirby nervously squeaked, shaking in fear of the man’s bizarre awakening.

“Then we should start helping him in getting up from the platform, shall we?” Ahk nodded back.

It took a while for the humans to get the newly revived man up with around 2 boys and 4 girls involved, but they were able to get him up at last. They were tired but relieved that the man was able to stand up again, though questions were being to stir in their minds and worries were forming that they may have done something really terrible that very day.

“Alright, sir. Are you okay now?” Mari was at a loss of breath, sitting down on the stage platform, as she asked him how he was feeling after finally regaining his grip.

“A damned sight better, Madam,” he remarked as a response while brushing off dust from his outfit before continuing on with what else he was going to say, “Now how I can repay you lot back… Wait a minute, this isn’t the dueling grounds or Aunt Angelica and Uncle John’s house...”

“Oh God, if it ain’t Philip Hamilton himself!” Karina’s eyes widened in shock as memories of reading about the life of his famous father with everyone else flashed back in her mind.

“We knew it!” Issa shouted.

“By Merlin’s beard!” Harry freaked out with his jaws dropping to the ground.

Ahkmenrah, having been through the same thing as this Philip Hamilton (as the man is called), couldn’t help but to feel bad for him with being sent back to life and reality once again but in a more modern era, decided to approach him with caution and spoke on behalf of the bewildered group, “Well, pardon me, sir. What was the last thing you saw before… you just came back?”

Philip, whose facial expression now went from bewilderment to mourning, meekly replied back to the pharaoh’s question, “I… I was at Uncle John and Aunt Angelica’s house across the (Hudson) river… The doctor was there checking on my dire situation then...” He then pointed to the group at the direction of his right hip, “Good Lord, I’ve been shot! That Eacker fellow is going to be in trouble once I can find him again-”

“Whoa, whoa, back up a minute!” Karina busted his moment of rage, “What did that guy did to you that has made you wanting to gang up on him?”

That was when the younger Hamilton came to realize to see the group’s more contemporary appearance, quite unusual for his time in their clothing; never mind the fact that Ahk was holding onto the same golden tablet that brought both of them back from the dead. Was he in some sort of a time displacement?

Mari sighed, knowing that they can’t keep away the fact that he’s in the wrong century now, and came “Mr. Hamilton, I know we just met within a few minutes of your reawakening, but I feel we need to properly introduce ourselves. I’m Mari Tan, assistant librarian at the Daly City Public Library. The people and puffball with me are my friends and adopted siblings: Karina Lyle, Ahkmenrah, Harry Potter, Isabelle Miravelez, Kairi, and Kirby. I hate to break this to you, but you’ve been asleep for far too long until now.”

Philip was left even more confused than when he got revived, asking her again, “For how long?”

“It’s January 2019, in Daly City, California. I don’t think we’re even in New York anymore,” Harry stepped in, adding more surprise to the 19 year old man, greeting the British wizard with a dropped jaw of shock, to which he replied, “I could tell that even California as a state is foreign to you: back when you’re still alive in your original timeline, it was under Spanish rule before the Mexicans took over, followed by a brief moment of independence when the Americans came into town.”

“Welcome to the Golden State, you’re going to be in a really rough pickle now that everyone you know then is, well…, dead,” Kairi dropped another major info bombshell with equal parts of concern and uncertainty.

“Uh… Kairi, I don’t think you should drop that information…,” Issa tried to reprimand her in a stern manner.

“Do we need to also tell him that he’s the only wax statue revived to life with the others being-” Karina bombarded her with another question of concern, only to be cut off when they turned to see Philip noticing that the wax replicas of the many people he knew in his old life, such as his parents, weren’t moving or even revived like him.

Mari, her siblings and friends watched in sadness and pity as the poor man was trying to get the still statues’ attention and failing miserably, eventually sulking as he sat down on the podium stage where they were standing and shedding bitter salt-laced tears. Many versions of ‘Poor guy’ were murmured among the group.

This was not his day, and yet, Mari couldn’t help to feel bad that she then sat down beside him and began to carefully explained of what happened after his first death, “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but shortly after you died the first time, your entire family wasn’t the same: your sister became mentally wrecked, your mom gave birth to a little brother and named him after you, your dad died on the same grounds you died on 3 years later, and your mom would outlive nearly everyone else upon dying at age 97. Please don’t get mad at me and my friends and siblings for just bringing you back life and not everyone else, we didn’t mean to cause you any grief because of it.”

Tears began to slowly gave up when he heard her speak and, while the words did made him feeling guilty for causing so much grief onto his family, she delivered them in a gentle tone with no ill will to ruin his mood or even his sanity. Harry then quietly approached Philip and continued what Mari said, “Yeah, it’s actually nearly 218 years since your ‘passing’, and everything did changed a lot. Trust me, if we get out of here sooner or later, you’re going to be in a big shock for your life, mate.”

“We better be going then,” Ahk informed everyone in the area, “We all don’t want to be locked in for the night nor do we want to get into trouble with people in this museum over with what happened today.”

“Ahk has a point,” Karina couldn’t agree more, “It’s getting late right now as well.”

“Well, if you say so, then we can all go out now,” he remarked, “Besides, it is true that I haven’t seen the outside world for that long. Although if I was presumed dead for the last 2 centuries, I highly doubt that I have any monetary funds or a place to stay in.”

“We have a house at the Westlake neighborhood,” Mari suggested to Philip with a beaming smile in her face, “The place is more known for its Mid-Century houses, though plenty of the other houses do range in style lately, including ours. You can stay with us, even Ahk lives with us since he didn’t have anyone else to run to when he got revived back to life. Then we try to get you a job some time after that can fit with your education credentials.”

“Mari has a point, Philip, son of Alexander,” the pharaoh pointed it out to him in a wise manner, “Perhaps, I could be of some assistance as well. I have went through nearly similar situations like you do now a few years ago, so I’m more than happy to give you some advice and help along the journey.”

“Also, we’ll introduce you to everyone else. Just imagine the response they’ll get from knowing that you’ve just been awaken again and they can also help you out,” Karina continued what her two friends left off.

“The Doctor is going to be so happy to hear about this,” Harry sarcastically whispered to Issa on the side.

“Definitely,” she agreed.

“Poyo,” Kirby sighed.

“I would be in your debt, everyone,” Philip replied back, “And should be so for a long while, I’m afraid. Though I have another question: would I get some unwanted attention in these clothes?”

“Nah, nobody wouldn’t care too much right now, but we should need to get out of here just to be safe,” Kairi reminded him as they began to leave the exhibit.

Once they managed to get out of the museum, Philip’s eyes widened up: not merely out of shock (although Mari admits that could be the case), but mostly in awe and curiosity with cars and buses running along the asphalt roads, people going about their normal days in modern clothing, and an assortment of buildings in various styles scattered across the city. If someone smart enough would have taken a note,  they would’ve been shocked by one man’s old-fashioned outfit, but since it’s nearing time for the rush hour leaving for home, nobody paid them and Philip any unwanted attention.

“Those unusual conveniences...” Philip gasped upon seeing the changed landscape, a far cry from what he was used to seeing in early 19th Century New York, while pointing at the moving vehicles in front of them.

“Horseless carriages if you could call them that,” Ahkmenrah informed him, “A majority of them are actually called cars. Quite convenient and swift, though they can cause more problems in plenty of places. But they’re easier to use than with chariots on the sands of Egypt though.”

“I must say, at least the streets here are cleaner,” he mused on and Ahk honestly knew that it was true.

“Well, Philip, you might need to get used to the pros and cons of living in the modern day city: city living can be stressful if you’re not ready to brace for the madness around it,” Issa reminded him gently ahead of time.

Just then, Mari’s smartphone began to buzz, startling the revived man a bit from the noise it was emitting as she pulled out her phone to check on her message inbox. However, he was also at the same time morbidly curious at the strange device she and, he assumed, nearly everyone but Kirby has in their possession.

“A message from Belle,” she reported to the bunch and their new friend, “She is coming over to our house with food delivery and Adam is coming along with her as well.”

“So… How does this thing work?” Philip inquisitively questioned her about the smartphone.

“Well, it’s quite complicated to describe how a smartphone works without sounding like a tech nerd,” Mari shrugged a bit before she continued on her lesson, “But it’s quite a marvel in communications, if you ask plenty of people that. Anyone can pick it up, send a call or text to anybody, surf the internet, or even do things like playing app games or reading e-books… It’s like an encyclopedia, a very small encyclopedia that is a jack of all trades.”

“An encyclopedia, isn’t it?” he couldn’t help but to smile a bit, before he thought about the reading part, “Did you mentioned about these e-books, didn’t you?”

“Yeah, I sure did. That’s the wonders of modern technology these days,” she replied back, “Maybe I can recommend you something from this period or something? We can do that once we get back to the house tonight.”

“Why, yes. I don’t mind at all,” his grin grew wider as she responded, “I happen to work as an assistant librarian in the city, I can show you the city’s public library someday.”

“I would happily take that offer, madam,” Philip noted the last sentence, “When we can arrange that day out trip?”

“Oh God, he’s speaking her language of books already,” Karina gasped in shock upon hearing those words.

“Wait till Hermione hears about Philip and his bizarre day today: she’ll be so happy to hear about another person to geek out about books with 24/7,” Harry shrugged back.

“Brace for it, world, because Philip Hamilton has finally returned from the grave,” Issa muttered to herself, wondering how the world and the US will react about one of the children of the one of the American Founding Fathers has come back home after nearly 218 years of being dead.

Finished “Prince of Midnight” yesterday after work while I was commuting towards home. I was in a hurry to be done with it. The story and drama has just dragged on for too long.

Even that so-called “smokin’ hot” epilogue I read in another review couldn’t save it. It was absolutely unnecessary and not ‘smokin’ hot’ afterall. Making love on horseback? Migosh, so unsightly!

Nicholas Boulton-sama is the only saving grace of this novel. He’s really the ultimate audiobook narrator. I could totally listen to him speak about anything, even random things like numbers and equations, for hours. When he says “sunshine” in that deep raspy voice that he use for S.T., I might totally loose it. *fans self*

Just some thoughts. I liked the beginning of the story. It gave me a different aura, like it felt I was reading high fantasy than historical romance. I was really impressed with S.T.’s determination despite his circumstance and obvious indifference of his companion.

On the other hand, my heart can’t help but ache about S.T.s remorse and obvious self-pity. He almost broke down, like he already bared his soul for her, but it wasn’t enough. It shattered his person, and made him think that he will never be worthy for her.

And then ate gurl came runnin’ back to him? Begging for him to come back to her life, after discarding him like that... kanang, unsa man jud noh? Kinsa may dili ma caught offguard noh, after all that he’d been through, the girl you loved deeply asks you “do you (really) love me?”, like....wasn’t it obvious ate???? Kinsa may dili maluya ana? Of course kung ako si kuya, maka hunahuna jud kog WHY, unsa man jud diay problema nako. Unya karon pagkabungol niya usab, alangan, musamot jud og kagamay iyang self-esteem.

She scorned him even when he was at his best. How about tong buhis buhay moments, just for show??? Aie you should have left the witch on the pyre, Sophacles Trafalgar Maitland.

Gosh, I thought FFTS was already a stressful read. At least it has a good story. PM on the other hand was 95% frustration, 5% ahat na romance bwahahaha.

All in all, it was still a decent read. Really tested my patience for the most part. I envisioned a totally different ending y’know. I would have liked them to go back to France to and live happily ever after in S.T.s castle, where it all began. Anyways, this book also made me pine for ex-highwaymen with half-finished paintings. Speaking of... I realize that I really like S.T.s character. Even after the countless rejection, he didn’t give up on Leigh easily. He taught her kindness and love in the simplest things, for example when he taught her how to tame a horse.

Another thought, I realize that L.K.s books I’ve read so far have totally unpredictable and unconventional characters. And it’s one of the things that makes her stories stand out from your average HR, aside from the brilliant storytelling.

I still have a few Kinsale left on my stash, though I might have had too much HR angst recently so I’ll skip her for now. I just started the first book of the Bedwyn Saga earlier today but I didn’t like the quality of the audiobook I downloaded so I resorted to reading my ebook. It’s okay so far, but I feel this may venture into angst territory soon. NOOOOHHH HAHAHAHAHAHA

We create moments and deep talks, then i tried to enter and destroy your walls, then i realize how valuable and how much i wanted to love you and embraced everything about you. I trusted you so much that i gave everything to you, even helping you financially, vice versa, goes thats what lovers do right? and start to dream and plan for our future right after I pass my board exam.  I even seriously said nga sus maski pag magpakasal nko sa imoa sa Judge next year (2021, this year cause we started soul connection on March 2020) then you smiled.

You were there, while im procrastinating about my theis subject, to finishing my degree and even attending my graduation pictorial. Grabe we’ve just known for almost 8 months, then felt like kaila na kaayu ta. i already told you na magcebu ko after pandemic, but pandemic last this longer, so i decided with your pleading power to have self review, sulayan basi diay makapasar with God’s guidance. 

So review days start, naay away kay dili pa tika masabtan, naa koy needs nga dili nimo ma.attain, disappoints pero guess wat? im learning to understand you more deeper. i made balik2 things,but im learning. So in the middle of review days, nabikil mi ni kuya and decided to go home, am so hesitant to be home, kay magLDR ta pero tungod kay nagsalig kos imoa, i went home, then abe ko mas mstrong ta duha, pero constant ghpon ang commu, nak adjust nkos imoa, and even focused on studying more, then here it goes, so shock nga wala lng man ka nagpahibalo nga akong name sa in a relationship is cannot be seen anymore, Baboo i asked you, nganu? then you asked dili ikaw ana? and i burst out, nagging and saying those words out of control. cause its not once, its been twice, first you hide it, then to not seeing my name anymore?

So i calmed myself and said sorry cause you are still in the middle of your work so i decide to txt you, to talk on your bhaus. Then it all started, you dont want to talk to me anymore, no answered calls, youve already ghosted me for almost 6 days not having any answers nor talks from you? and it hurt so bad, im so distracted, you didnt even bother for my feelings, babo? why? just because i bursted out like that your going to throw away everything we build? why? why wont you dare talk to me? is there really someone new? babo why? why those nicknames and in a relationship of your hasnt change? why? T.T why leave me those thoughts, and what ifs, Babo, why? and the most funny thing is, i decide to give you space and im hoping that we will be okay after all, but deep inside me, you could possibly leave me forever. Babo i trusted you, everything i trusted you and waited for you. So i decided to wait until feb 13, 2021, and here i am crying breaking down, praying that you will give me answers, and thinking that any sooner will end up separate ways, but deep inside me, hoping that you would comeback cause i will embrace you fully again. T.T i know i cant do anything to change your mind for now, but my weapon will only prayers, and praying that we will be back to normal eve its impossible T.T please dont give up, i invested on this beacuse you want me to trust and love you with all of me T.T. and now were you? just keep on seening me and its fucking hard! Road trip sa Cagayan de Oro with the squad! 😘 (Part 1)

📍Cagayan de oro

Ito trip na to pinagplanuhan namin ito months ago pa! Kaka open lang ng water park sa cagayan. Ang lapit lapit lang so we really need to go! I even took a leave para sa trip na to. Tiniming pa namin sa holiday yung trip para long weekend talaga! So the plan was 1st day (morning) is the ride papuntang cagayan (8 hours drive kasi cagayan to davao) ayaw ni A mag drive ng gabi since di kabisado ang daan. 2nd day is yung mismong punta namim sa seven seas. And the third day is yung biyahe pabalik sa davao. That was THE plan! But on the day before the trip something came up! Nabalitan ni A na yung nanay ng teacher niya (na super close) passed away. Kailangan niya bumiyahe pa cotabato para makilibing! Yung libing is yung mismomg araw na tratravel kaming pa cagayan! He almost backed out! Disappointed na rin ako. (Malapit na akong maiyak that time since super excited talaga ako sa trip na to!) Buti na lang nagawan ng paraan. Di na siya pupunta dun sa mismong libing instead makilamay na lang siya. So need niya parin pumutang cotabato. So the first day na dapat travel namin was compromised! Since yan yung araw na pupunta siyang cotabato, makilamay, and then balik davao to travel pa cagayan. Yung dapat travel namim ng morning sa first day gabi na nangyari. Oras yung kalaban namim dito since we had to squeezed our 3 day plan into two nights (the first night is yung travel) and two days. So while A is traveling papuntang davao ( nag commute lang siya since mas nakakapagod mag drive buong araw. Siya kasi darive samin papuntang cagayan so he really need to rest) nasa mall na kaming tatlo waiting for him to pick us up. We had to buy him his rash guard and yung pagkain namin sa travel! Nag take out na lang kami for dinner( sa biyahe na kami kakain since di kaya ng oras para umupo sa fast food chain😅) and so the adventure begins....

The travel papuntang cagayan was a mixtures of fun, scared and tiring. First time namin lahat pumunta ng cagayan so di namin alam ang daan we had to rely on google map. At first the travel was okay nothing unusual naadaan pa namin yung road na ang raming paikot ikot. (We called it ahas) swirly road! 😊 may mga nakakasabayan pa kaming bus and truck sa road. We stopped at a bus to take a break. Bili ng snacks, Bus stop ata yun since may mga bus na humihinto dun. 🤦🏼 After our break travel ulit. As the night become deeper. Wala na kami masyadong nakakasalubong na mga truck or kahit na anong mga sasakyan. At first di na namin pinansin since gabi naman na. Medyo nawala rin kami since A missed a turn. Di siya nakaliko sa isang kalye, later niya ng napansin sa google map na parang humaba yung oras ng travel namin. ( so ikot nanaman kami para balik sa dating routa) after that turn lubak lubak na yung kalsada. Go pa rin kami akala namin konti lang yung lubak lubak. But as we go deeper sa road ganun pa rin. Parang di nadadaan yung lugar. May mga road pa na putol putol. ( underconstructed road) medyo kinakabahan na ako kasi ang bagal ng takbo namin since lubak lubak nga. Wala kami nakakasalubong na mga sasakyan. And yung mga bahay is may mga flag na white ( I didnt see it. Kinwento lang sa akin ni A in our room later) tahimik na kami. We cannot make a U turn rin naman since ang layo na ng napunta namin. Mixtures of emotions yung na feel ko dun. Kinkabahan din ako kasi baka dead end yung road di kami makakadaan kasi nga yung kalsada is putol putol. Ang hirap pang umusad since sobrang lubak yung daan. Malapit ko ng isuggest kay A na U turn na lang. Pero sayang yung usad namin. ( what if the if the other route ganun dun yun daan?) Tahimik kami buong ride na yun. Yung attention ko nasa kalsada lang tinitingnan ko kung makakita na ba kami ng sementong kalsada. So yung time na nakabalik na kami sa high way ( after an hour or so) sobrang relieved ko! (Nasa isip ko atlast semento na. Nadadaaan na to ng sasakyan. Tapos na kami sa lubak lubak ng daan yun! Wheew) nakatulog ako after nun. Then maya maya bigla na lang kami ginising si A ( tinulugan kasi namin siya lahat siya lang yung gising. Sorry A! 😁) fog naman yung kalaban namin. Wala siyang masyadong makita. So need ng support. ( di rin dapat tinutulugan ang driver.) After 7 hrs drive and adventure! at last we reached Cagayan 😅 at first medyo disappointed ako ang liit ng kalsada yun pala di pa yun yung mismong city. Sa likod pala kami ng cagayan dumaan. Yung probinsyang side ng cagayan. Sa route na napili namin is yung daan sa likod ng cagayan ( yung mas delikado, di nadaanan ng sasakyan at may npa. Buti safe kaming nakarating na cagayan.) Pag dating namin doon nag search kami agad ng place to stay for a few hours since yun na lang ang time na makatulog kami.

3:00 am na ng makarating kami ng cagayan. So we only have 4 hours to sleep and prepare. Para makarating kami ng maaga sa 7 seas. Kailangan pumila. At the time patok pa ang 7 seas so kailangan kaming pumila ng maaga. Para sure na makakapasok kami. ( Limited number of people lang kasi yung kayang iaccomodate ng place. So dapat early para sure pasok) Sayang yung travel namin kung di kami makakapasok sa 7 seas. So first we search d morvie. Yun lang kasi ang mura. Pero nung makarating na kami fully booked na. Then nag hanap kami ng mga inn sa gilid gilid. Dahil maarte kami di namin gusto yung place. Wala pa rin. At last someone suggest na meron drive inn. Per hour yung room (145 ata yung per hour) yun 3 to 4 hours lang naman yung kailangan namin so ok na rin. Sulit na. The room is actually decent for its price. Aircorn, may c.r, and separate garage. (Actually the place is for the couples na gusto mag short time. 😂😂😂 or whatever.) Whatever kung san kami nadala. We just need some place to sleep. (Two room yung kinuha namin. Kami dalawa ni A. Yas and jp naman sa other room) 1st night done!

The morning after ( ewan if nakatulog ba kami) nag ready kami agad para makaaga kami punta sa seven seas. Sinearch lang din namin sa google map ( medyo nawala pa nga kami sa likod nanaman kasi kami dinaan ng google map eh wala naman daan papasok dun. Dead end lang! The funny thing is ang dami rin sasakyan papunta dun sa dead end! Nadale lahat kami ni google map! 🤦) anyways! At last we reached the place medyo marami rami na ring tao. Pero wala pa naman pila. We asked the guard if kayang ba ma accomodate lahat sabi niya oo naman since di naman daw ganun kadami tao. At di naman peak days. So medyo na ok na kami. Since we an hour early before mag open ang place. Nag kain na lang muna kami sa car ( may baon sila yas! Hahaha. Tipid sila eh.) Then picture2x kami. ( syempre di na yan mawawala) sa labas pa lang ng place maganda naman na pwede na mag picture picture instagrammable! 🤗 nung may tao na sa ticketing booth abtik! Pumila agad si A. 1000 ang entrance unlimited ride na! May mga facilities na rin dun na pwede rentahan like yung cottage nila. Pero di na kami kumuha since may mga lamesa naman dun for na pwede daw upuan for free. And so the adventure begins..

Pag pasok sa seven seas meron silang locker area para pag lagyan ng mga gamit. (Kumuha kami ng dalawa) dun din banda yung shower area. Before going sa mga rides nag picture picture muna kami! (Sayang ang outfit) maganda pa naman ang place. So explore muna namin ang place. Picture picture. (May mga castle din dun na ang ganda pinuntahan namin) nung na satisfy na kami sa mga pictures namin. Nag bihis na kami ng rash guard para mag swimming talaga! 😂😁

Before swimming kumain muna kami. Para isahan na lang. Meron silang canteen area. Ok naman ang foods mura na rin. Anyways after kain.

First namin pinuntahan is yung wave pool na every hour grabe yung wave! First is ok pa. Dun talaga kami sa malalim pumunta. Confident na kaya namin. Kaso ang liit ko ko compare sa mga kasama ko so yung lumakas na ang wave kapit agad ako. Ang lalim para sa akin. Ang lakas pa ng tubig. Actually enjoy siya. At first pero habang tumatagal nauubosan na akong hininga kakatalon! Grabe pang hampas sakin ng tubig! ( feel ko andami kong nainom na tubig dun! But i like it. Super enjoy! Lalo na pag kasama barkada)

After the wave pool ang next na pinuntahan namin is yung malaking bilog na good for four. Slide siya na iikot ikot kami hanggang sa makababa. ( i forgot kung ano tawag sa slide) so para makaride dito kailangan tingnan if meron bang group na ayaw ng umulit sa ride so pwede ng kunin kunin yung float, ( sharing bes! ) then kailangan namin buhatin yung "float" paakyat sa third floor para maka slide. (Ang bigat ng nun! Yun yung pinaka nakakapagod anyways) at the ride was fun. Mas lalo ng yung sa pinaka unang hulog! Grabe adrenaline! Since feel ko mahuhog kami dun sa bilog! Kadalawang beses namin tong tinry. Second medyo ok na. Since alam na namin kung anong ieexpect! 😉

And then we tried the slides. 4 parts yung slides first try namin is yung pinakamababa may mat siya nakasama naka dapa kang slislide, ok lang wala masyadong thrill since mababa pa naman paikot lang siya. The second try is medyo may thrill na. Dapat commit ka talaga sa position pinagawa sayo para dirediretso yung slide may mga ibang tao kasi na humihinto sila mid slide, nag change position daw yun sabi ni kuya nag aassist sa slide. 😂 the third slide medyo kumalabog na puso ko nun pa curve kasi yung slide may feeling na matatapon ako. Pero ok naman super enjoy. I remember sa time na to grabeng encourage namin kay jepoi na mag slide na. Lahat kami sa baba na. Siya na lang yung natira sa taas. He was hesitant na mag slide since super takot siya, but he did it. Na conquer niya yung fear og height niya dun. Before doing last slide yung pinakamataas na bigla ka na lang ihuhulog we tried muna yung slides for couple. Kaming dalawa ni A mag kasama dito.for two person lang to. Uupo kami sa float ako yung sa harap si A ang sa likod tapos ihuhulog ako. Akala ko thrilling siya pero no. Ok lang. I remember saying "Yun na yun?" Hahaha. 🤦 And the we tried the last slide yung pinakamataas papasok ka sa tube. Then biglang bubukas yung sa paanan mo na mahuhilog ka. Paikot yung slide (360 degree talaga). Sabi ni kuyang nagbabantay dun para makaabot ka talaga hanggang dulo. Dapat atleast 50 kgs ka. Or else di ka aabot dun sa paikot. No worries dun sa mga di makaabot may butas naman sa gitna. Dun ka lalabas if di ka nakaabot hanggang dulo. I almost didn't try this one. Kasi ang taas 3 stories ata nung building. Tapos medyo hesistant din kasi ako kasi di naman ako abot 50 kgs, i know di ako aabot hanggang dulo. But after thinking so hard. Tinry ko na din. Paminsan lang kami sa seven seas so dapat ma try ko lahat mg slide. As expected di nga ako nakaabot hanggang dulo. The slide was ok may thrill ung ibabagsak ka na since biglaan pero di ako masyadong kinabahan since sa loob naman ng tube and di ko alam when biglang bubukas. Mas kinabahan pako dun sa third slide since dun may feeling na malalagpot ako. Dito kasi yung slide is close. (Worth the try!)

Last stop namin is yung lazy river. Ito wala lang ito naka upo lang kami sa salbabida and mag floflow lang kami sa "river" ito yung part na relaxing lang. Walang thrill go with the flow. Picture picture. Dito namin tinapos yung araw namin until sa mag close na ang seven seas.

This trip was an adventure! I love it. Masyadong maraming memories. First time ko sa water park and I really love it. Parang bata ako ulit. Away from work. Di para mag relax but to experience thrill. I love it. Uulit ulitin ko ang araw na ito. Memories to keep ❤

Flaming trial kuya theories

Warning for spoilers! And death.

In FT room 1, Eiden is in an improv game and pretends to die via stabbing. Kuya witnesses this, and then there is a giant glitch sound + shaking screen while he has a shocked expression, before the reveal. This is a very similar reaction to when Garu gets his trauma flashbacks.

Some additional context:

Kuya has a breeding kink (Fallen Leaves) and has pretended Eiden is the mother to some random kits (Neon Carnival year 1)

Has a serious gripe about how short lived & dull or annoying humans are. Like he constantly repeats this.

For some reason, he has a lot of thirsty in-universe admirers (Tanuki, random bar patrons, Master of Elysium), he is heavily displeased by them and in the past would burn them (or kill them).

Used to serve Lord of Yokai and was Huey's right hand man, but now no longer likes being subservient to others

Has offered to keep Eiden at his home (Fallen Leaves) and in an illusion (Fancy Capricio/Forest Night) forever

Kuya & Huey were on a boat trip from Saia back to Klein. For some reason, Kuya transformed back into his yokai form, the ship burned down, and we have no information on Huey's wereabouts after that.

Not officially canon, but Quincy & Kuya have divorced vibes. Also, Quincy & Kuya are the only surviving biological OG clan members. I'm not counting Blade since he's manmade and does not have a lifespan/cannot die by biological means.

It's pretty established by now that Kuya is suicidal & depressed

Preexisting theories:

I forgot how it started, but its been a theory for a while that at some point when Kuya was a fox, he had a mate/family with kits, but they're no longer alive.

It's also been theorized Kuya (when human formed) also had (a) human lover(s), that also died.

Possible additional theories I haven't seen yet:

He had a mate/lover/family killed via stabbing, hence his reaction to Eiden's improv death and frequent displeasure towards human lifespans. And never got over that grief.

He had a mate/lover that he had a direct involvement with their death, though not necessarily via stabbing. Possible suicidal ideation & depression due to guilt and everything that comes with it.

He might have witnessed Huey's disappearance/death on that boat or been the one to cause his disappearance/death.

Other OG clan members that must have died or we wouldn't have several other generations of clan members, and we know some of them were humans since Dante, Olivine, Edmond are human (and Rei has human family). Huey didn't have sex with his clan members, so they all must have had sex with each other for essence regulation (including Quincy). Perhaps he was close with some of them and witnessed their deaths.

Great Serpent was an OG clan member and he did have a human lover that died. Perhaps Kuya witnessed that whole thing go down too.

So, just to oil up my brain, let me share random stuff like food that makes me happy these days. When I say happy food, I mean those that make me kilig and kinda do happy dances IRL kahit I am poker face pa rin.

-Oatmilk (rolled oats with vanilla extract + cinammon and a bit of Himalayan salt is soooooo good and super cheap pa. Milk in general causes queasy tummy to me.)

-Butter (margarine is fine pero mumsh, I have come to terms na that butter is liferrrrrr.)

-Curry + Indian Food (ilabas ang long grain rice at wala ng paki sa calorie count kasi everything is deliriously good)

-Chicken Soup (homemade with love ofc. Sobrang pantamad pero packed with pampatanggal ng sipon and coughs. Certified instant pick me upper.)

-Siomai pa rin 5ever (in between siomai na trad, my tito and tita introduced me to cabbage rolls. Ansaraaapppp.)

-Chili Garlic Oil (eto talaga di mawawala. Kahit ipaligo ko pa yan. I started a hot sauce stash years back and now, seryosong spicy stuff na kina-career ko.)

-Dark Chocolate (the darker the better. Sarap ng Lindt saka Godiva!!!)

-Popcorn (I try to veer away from Chef Tony's na kasi mumsh, hindi biro ang kasalanan so happy na with Chicago and Garretts pag may budget, pero okay na okay na ako sa Kettle Korn and yung sa tabing daan na walang salt)

-Sweet Corn (hindi na yata ito mawawala sa sistema ko)

-Mushroom (fried, steamed, from the can, skewered, soup na hindi instant, etc.)

Saturday! Cleaned manong’s car out while the sibs cleaned the house. I drove to Target and we also walked to 5 Below and Marshalls. At Marshalls manang bought an espresso maker!!! It’s so cute, and it was only $8. At Target I bought mom a small eye shadow palette for mother’s day lol (that’s all I could afford). Got some Mcdonalds and went home to play Overcooked 2. Mom was home from hanging out with tita Delai and tita Emy. Also. I found out my wisdom tooth in the back of my right side of my molar is finally popping out of my gum!!!! Bout time but man :P

Happy Mother’s day!!! Woke up and gave mom her gifts. Oh yeah, at Marshalls, manang bought marv lindor chocolate to give to mom lol. At church it was so busy! Decorated (again) the dining hall but at least it was simple. Food was great!!!!! Mark and kuya Sanjay both brought chicken curry! Mark actually brought a lot of food!! SO NICE of him. He brought curry, rice with beans, and plaintains. It was so good!! Dad had work so at home the sibs and mom took pics.

Phewwwww ok`so I got up pretty early (ok not really, but like 10 a.m. lol) to review some interview questions and answers. Got ready and then mom, dad and I made our way to Detroit. It was a sunny, beautiful day! Got to DRH and checked in with the front desk. Dad and I waited for about 20 minutes before we got the go to go upstairs. During that time of wait, dad was approached by like 4 co-workers, 1 was Marko who worked on the 5th floor but days, and he gave me some encouragement. Then it was dad’s own coworker, the PCA. And she was like “Ha? She’s having an interview with _______?!” And then before we went to the 5th floor, we stopped by dad’s office and his coworker was there too and she seemed iffy about where/who I was interviewing with and it kinda worried me. Anyway, went upstairs and met with the manager, however I went into the room and sat with the coordinator who interviewed me. She was SO nice. I really like her. I don’t think I nailed the interview, but thankfully the questions she asked were pretty easy, and she was very positive. After my interview with the coordinator, I was then facing the manager who came in the room to ask if I had any questions. After about 20 minutes of talking he then asks me, “I’m going to ask you a hypothetical question. If I were to offer you the job right now, what would you say?” and I said yes. And then he said, “I’m offering you the job.” So HOME GIRL GOT A JOB!!!! After that I took a tour with the coordinator and checked the 3 units within the 5th floor. I DID IT. Friends congratulated me on the Groupme. Was so funny cuz Jod was like “Bebet went from being the poorest in the group to the richest” and all my friends were like “WOW WE KNOW A DOCTOR” “WOW DOCTOR” Got picked up and celebrated at Mcdonalds on Mack. It was so busy. After that, mom, dad and I just went to the downstairs parking so dad could nap before work (yes, dad sacrificed napping to support me for my interview <3333 he walked into the hospital with me and walked me up to the 5th floor too!). Dropped dad off and then mom and I went to get manang. Manong picked up Marv. Before we picked up manang mom and I went to burlington to look at shoes but didn’t get anything. Got manang and once we got home we changed and got ready since Jod was gonna pick us up for taco Tuesday at Maiz!! Si parked at our house and so the 4 of us rode together. Got to Maiz and waited for like 15 minutes for a table, and then Jovel and Nai came. After we were done eating Sam came but we ordered his food so that it was ready when he came. I was pretty disappointed with my food. The shell was SO SOGGY and old tasting. It broke apart :P And the meat was cold! Sigh. Like the shell was even doubled up because it was breaking apart. Anywho after that we went to Cultivate(?) where we played exploding cats. Then manang and I rode with Sam and Si home!

Mom cooked me some spaghetti for tomorrow! :))) Mom had a date with tita rose and others so it was just Marv and I at home. I cleaned before marv got home. Cooked egg for the sibs and I and then watched som one punch. Then I went to the garage to get started on the trash. Once manong and manang came home the four of us in good moods worked together to get the wooden pallets, couch, stove and trash out to the curb. After that we played Overcooked 2. BUT OMG. So like, at 2 am today before I hit the hay, I went on FB and saw a flyer that St Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor was having a nurse job fair!!! I signed up and told Danielle. She’ll most likely ride with me!! Sigh.... Kinda wished I didn’t say yes immediately. And I kinda wished I was ready for an interview with Beaumont. Sigh. Maybe it wasn’t meant to be tho.

Happy birthday to me!!!!!! Thank you Lord!!!! Literally woke up and cried. God is so good. All the time. So thankful for another year. Woke up and went downstairs and found a bouquet of beautiful carnations and a card from dad (I was still up last night and he didn’t get home until 5 just to get these for me! :’D). Had breakfast with mom and dad and then just chilled for the day! Then it was time for prayer meeting. Picked up Marv then went to 7-11. Got some donuts and iced coffee. Then we got manang and then went to burlington near church. Got to church early and just walked around the parking lot. It was such a beautiful day!! After prayer meeting we went to Meijer in Woodhaven to get rice. At home I ate spaghetti! And then manang gave me her gift which was a cute milk carton purse!! Oh and $10 cash!!! I was sooooo surprised when I saw the purse. It was SO cute!! <3 Also going to Ann Arbor tomorrow! Picking up Danielle thanks to manong :)

Woke up so early today! Woke up at 8:30 and got ready. Manong and I left at like 9:30ish or so to get Danielle. On the way to Danielle’s there was a pretty crazy driver on King road right before the brownstown police station. Anyway, got to Danielle’s, picked her up, then got breakfast at Mcdonalds (thanks manong! <3). Then we made our way to Ann Arbor. Found a parking space and practice some questions and such then walked in. It was busy but man everyone was SO NICE. Danielle and I met with the manager of the Medsurg (gen surgery) floor and the neuro floor. They were really nice. Then we talked with the manager for the ER. After that we took a tour with Dan and HE WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. He was so inspiring to me. Like, he had no hospital experience, working as a full time mail man during school. He became a nurse and then after a year he went to grad school and became a CNS! He’s been at SJMH for 10 years already!!! He was really super nice. He even says, “I hope you get a job here! I teach in the orientation as well” and I’m like THAT WOULD BE A DREAM. The hospital was absolutely beautiful. Probably the best hospital I’ve ever been to. They even have a nail/hair spa!!!!!! And it smelled SO CLEAN. It would be amazing if I could get a job there after DRH! Anywho, the only sad part was that the medsurg floor wasn’t doing on the spot job offers or interviews :( When I heard that I felt that God validated me going to DRH. I prayed that Lord, my siblings plan to move to Washtenaw. If I get this job I would be so close to them. If it is your will I be at SJMH, Lord please provide me a job on the spot. If not, then I’ll stay at DRH. So there you go! There’s God’s answer. Although the manager said that if I were to hear anything, it would be on the following Friday, however I didn’t get any call back. Anywho, after we got back to the main area from the tour, Danielle went ahead to talk to the CCU presentation. I sat in the food area and had a cup of coffee. Talked to 2 ladies that were waiting in the medsurg line and they were so nice. Then I went outside and called PJ and just talked about my whole dealio. After danielle was done, manong came and picked us up. He was just waiting next door at WCC. Got lunch at KFC and ate inside. I was starting to get cramps sadly! After dropping off danielle, manong and I went to Advance Auto Parts in brownstown, then home. At home I just rested in my room having taken 3 ibuprofens for my cramps (I really need to take something else now). Then I got ready for dinner cuz the whole fam was going out for my bday! Picked up Ne on the way. Thought we were going to Leo’s but I looked up and we were at OLIVE GARDEN!!!!!! I was so surprised. Had a great dinner. Ordered my fave chicken alfredo. After OG we went to Target then Ne’s place! Drank some tea and chilled then went home.

Busy day today! Cleaned the house and got it ready for when the friends came over! Manang and mom went to Kroger to get food so Marv and I finished up. Manang washed the dishes and cleaned the kitchen while I vacuumed and cleaned bathrooms and made sure the house smelled good. Oh and Marv put the plants frmo the loft outside on the porch (about time those plants were gone!). First friend to come was Jod, then Josh and Joseph, then Bubby and then jovel, PJ and then daen. Played overcooked (jod loves it!) and then took pics with my star donut cake lol. Then Hannah and cam came!!!!!. We were laughing so hard the whole day!!! Hannah talked about her crazy experience with cult customers at timmy hoes and that was the ongoing joke of the night. Played Wario Ware and then Jackbox! It was so funny. Dad was so funny too when we told him about the cult.When he came out of his room he was like “I took my naked picture to give to the cult” xD LOL my friends were laughing so hard. Cooked shin ramyun and boiled eggs and ate that. Had a lot of food today (qdoba chips and dip from jod, pizza from pj, egg tart and vanilla ice cream from josh, orange creamsicles from jovel, donuts from hannah, candy from daen). Overall it was a really fun and funny night. Also hannah gave me a gift of $45!!! I was so surprised. So thoughtful and nice of her!!!! :’)

Church!! T’was a busy day. Took pics with my cake and oh my goodness, tita Mildred and my class made a banner for me! Church members were so generous in terms of birthday gifts. I made about $235 total! God has been so good to me. Wow. He has blessed me with so much. Some of the gifts I’ve gotten:

-Card, flowers, and olive garden dinner from mom and dad

-milk carton purse and $10 cash from manang

-pink selfie stick cell phone case from manong (didn’t get this till later)

-dunder mifflin hat from Marv (didn’t get this till later, but I’m listing it now lol)

-Versus versace watch from PJ

-$45 from hannah

-Money from tita Mildred, merrilee, and tita cheng, as well as a black and white striped shirt from tita Gina.

-Leche Flan from ne!

After church, the sibs and I went to Ne’s. Ne made me leche flan with cream cheese! Ugh so good. Chilled at Ne’s until midnight ish!

Today was a pretty chill day. Later in the day I went to the gym with manong. PJ came too. Manong and I worked out from 9:40 to 1 a.m.! GSW also played and won. Worked out so long. I drove to the gym and home. After the gym I drove to Meijer and manong bought me lunchables cuz I was so hungry lol.

Officially signed and sent my acceptance for the DRH job position!!! It’s official!! After that dad and I did yard work in the back. After that we had dinner with the fam and then I worked on making thank you cards for my manager and coordinator at DRH. Watched some bball!
