8 cylinders. 5.7 liters. 600 horsepower. 10 miles to the gallon. Limbo's custom 1968 Oldsmobile Toronado, with its V8 ripped from a 1990s Corvette, and its massive, howling supercharger poking through an opening in its hood, barrels down the 405 at speeds well into the three figures.

His target? Ellie Dea, as she was known before entering witness protection, is attempting to escape to the distant Los Vegas in the dead of night. Straddling a Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade, the sheer potency of this sport bike mean that Limbo and his muscle car have their work cut out for them. Motorcycles are unilaterally faster than automobiles, and even as the cyborg welds the gas pedal to the floor, the sweeping LA expressway is dangerously curvy.

Reaching down from the steering wheel, Limbo's gloved hand flips a tiny chrome switch, shutting off his headlights, and reducing the matte black car to a shadow. Dea had momentarily slowed down, searching for an exit ramp, and the killer used this opportunity to strike.

Suddenly emerging from a semi truck's blind spot, Limbo violently rams the Fireblade from behind, instantly sending its rider flying backwards, up the car's hood, and over the windshield. The impact nearly sends the Oldsmobile out of control, and the cyborg fights to keep it straight. Light poles whizz past at over 100 miles per hour.

Moments later, the killer is sitting, alone, gingerly drinking a lousy cup of coffee through a straw. Limbo rests his screen-head in his hand, watching the plume of smoke drift into the sky from the wrecked Fireblade. Just a few feet beyond the window, in the foreground, fresh blood drips from the bumper of his Oldsmobile, onto the diner's gravel parking lot.

As curious people peer out the windows at the carnage on the interstate, Limbo says nothing. He rarely does.
