yes there will be spoilers

now, to begin, a: all I've seen on the dash are however many shitposts I've made, I've seen one or two posts for each one bc mobile tumblr is a shit and wont let me shitpost without seeing the dash. I don't know what's going on with you all, other than that Jack has been shitting on Tom Holland a lot and its funny. Anyways.

i will be dissecting the scenes that matter to this blog, and place them into the general arc area im planning on them being at.

1: I know Zack made it canon that Dick Grayson is the dead robin Joker killed, and that Joker burned down wayne manor. Remember i love snyder to bits and he saved my life, and though it works for the 5 film arc he planned since bruce would have joined his family in the end of it, and due to the injustice themes he has in both the main and knightmare world, it does not, however, presently fit in this blog. there's also the issue that i hate dick dying but we can ignore that part

Bruce’s first child is Violet Baudelaire on my blog, and he will eventually meet and adopt Dick, Jason, Tim, Steph, Cass, etc. And of course, Damien will be canon on this blog, but Bruce doesn’t learn about Damien’s existence until Damien is thirteen, and bruce will most likely be around 45 in my timeline. He’s 25 right now. At most, he’d knock up selina with helena at this time, but i’m not making it canon here yet.

Jason will be the robin to die, with Talia having brought him back to life and basically raising him with Damien.

though it will also depend on if i have writing partners for this, the original boy wonder leaves bruce by his own free will because he sees how violent bruce is becoming, and dick’s decided he does not want to encourage this behavior by staying. Bruce, despite the pain he feels losing his son, accepts it, but doesnt react in a truly healthy and positive way. He tells Dick he’s everything he hoped he’d be, but that he can’t return to Wayne Manor. Most likely it will not be until Tim shows up and knocks some sense into Bruce for Bruce to ‘allow’ dick back, and that trust will have to be rebuilt. Not on Bruce's side, on Dick's, because Bruce is the one that fucks Dick over, not the other way around.

2: It will happen earlier for my Bruce, most likely, but it is Bruce and Diana who create the Justice League. He will still primarily bases in gotham. I have not decided whether the original wayne manor will be the hall of justice yet, but it will eventually burn down in my canon too.

3: Diana mainly is who inspires him to better himself, and create the league.

4: when he first meets clark, he holds no trust in him. That trust is built over time, but Bruce denies it like the emo he is.

Most of the plot of the film would have to be done with writing partners, so im specifically going over bruce centric parts btw. Even though this blog is based around Year One and Long Halloween, as that's what Reeve's is basing his film off of, Zack Snyder always has and always will be a direct influence to my writing and my blog. That's why hating him but liking me doesn't make sense to me tbh

5. Bruce does joke about his money, a lot. Despite denying it, bitch is a huge show off. But when it comes to helping his friends, he will absolutely throw his money at the cause.

6: Bruce does not ever stop himself from essentially fathering the league, hes the tired dad friend

7: Joker wise— the joker on my blog is Jessie’s, who may or may not be bruces brother. Jessie’s Joker isn’t likely to murder one of his bros kids, or kids at all. Joker is not who burns down Wayne Manor when it happens. Nor will he be the one to kill Jason Todd.

8: Directly leading from my last bit, I know a popular fan theory is that Leto’s Joker is Dick or Jason… i fucking hate that theory, Zack doesnt understand it or like it at all, even David Ayer dislikes the theory. Thats not part of this blog, nor ever will be.

9: knightmare timeline, it wont be the same, but there are influences here. I’ve mentioned Bruce referencing ‘dreams’ in his threads before, he has sort of ‘visions’, most likely from Martian Manhunter leaving him warnings, or Darkseid's influence from his first attack on Earth, and Bruce, due to one of his various training sessions, is just more sensitive to it than others are.

The Knightmare Joker my bruce sees is not any live action canon joker at all. Bruce sees a man in similar, but fancier, getup. It gives him the impression someone will eventually try to take Joker’s name for themself and become the version of Joker that Gotham sees: a killer who deserves a crown. This will play a part much later in the blog. But essentially, you can assume it's a form of serial killer posing as his maybe brother.

10: Right now, my bruce is just angry, and already headed towards bvs bruce. He doesn’t trust most, and he’s extremely violent. This is still early in the blog though, and he becomes less violent for a time after his adoptions. His most violent state will be a few arcs from now, post Jason Todd.

11: Arc Explanation, because most of this is not happening for a long time.small synopsis for a few of the arcs planned for this blog.

Arc one: before the bat - Finished.

Arc two: Shadow of the bat - current, transitioning to end. Based around year one.

Arc Three: Darkness Dwells - next chapter, after Bruce adopts Violet. This arc will tie in more with The Batman’s release, but I plan for it to end just before the release. At the end of the arc, Bruce realizes theres a serial killer in gotham.

Arc Four: A Long Halloween- Based on the comic of the same name, and of course, Reeves The Batman, or at least parts of it. A serial killer plagues gotham and Bruce begins to lose himself when he struggles to solve the case.

Arc Five: [REDACTED] - Bruce adopts Dick Grayson after Violet leaves, he sees the story in the paper and decides he has to help dick, seeing far too much of himself in the boy.

Arc Six: [REDACTED] - The Batfamily begins, Barbara Gordon becomes Batgirl and Kate Kane becomes Batwoman.

Arc Seven: [REDACTED] - Dick leaves, Jason comes in. Jason murdered towards the end of the arc, and Jason’s killer, who knows Bruces identity, burns Wayne Manor to the ground. In The Batcave, Bruce puts Damiens robin costume remnants on display, as an omage and apology, swearing to make up for what happened to him.

Arc Eight: [REDACTED] - Tim comes in a year after Jason’s death, Damien would be conceived around this time.

Arc Nine: Bruce reunites with Dick thanks to Tim, Violet, and Diana. Start of Bruce’s plan to put together the Justice League, an idea he totally steals from Dick having formed the Titans by this point.

Naturally, some changes can occur in the writing. Bruce could become a dad more times over, more stuff could happen. I’m single story so everything that happens here is canon to the blog.

Bruce will never quit being Batman, and he doesn’t retire. The closest he gets to retiring is Terry taking over as Batman, or when Dick does it when its believed Bruce is dead. Bruce will never be content not fighting crime, no matter how much it ultimately hurts him physically and mentally, and ultimately Zack’s decision that he would have died at the end of JL3 is the ultimate end for bruce. I don’t intend to stop writing him for awhile, obviously, but he will not retire and will continue to fight crime in some way right up until the moment bruce dies.
