I haven't really decided on what it's gonna be exactly.. but the general idea is that Baragara was hunted relentlessly by someone who wanted to catch him. Eventually he got in a battle with him and he was beaten within an inch of his life.. he was able to escape and hide away in a cave thankfully..

But there, he was so physically beaten that he couldn't move.. and he was so psychologically exhausted that he couldn't move himself with his mind.. with no way to move to collect food.. he began to starve..

The unstoppable horror of dying sent his 4 brains into a panic and they went out of sync. It was the worst state you could imagine for a Metagross tbh..

He is eventually rescued by one of my mons. But who found him and how? And what did they do afterwards? I haven't really decided yet.. <:0

omg omg, ok, a few things will need to be switched around vis a vis who has what personal relationships and who fills what role in the star wars narrative versus the animorphs narrative, BUT

Ok so the dual sides of the main conflict are easy. You have a powerful ruling body (the Senate) overthrown from within by a new faction (the Empire). The two powerful forces backing each side are directly mirrored as light and dark: the Jedi and the Sith. The same elements are all present in the initial setting of Animorphs: you have the good-guy Andalite forces and the bad-guy Yeerk Empire. It gets more complex later on, but this is how the series presented the setting for its main conflict.

Slide this into the SW universe: a Galactic Senate, backed by the considerable political power of the Andalites, is overthrown from within by a rogue faction backed by the newly emerged Yeerk Empire. The Sith and the Yeerks combine as a dual power -- not all controllers are Sith, but all Sith are controllers. Something something infestation combining a force-capable yeerk and a force capable host equals one super powerful entity. The Andalites are not a perfect stand-in for the Jedi, they fit more into the Ep. IV role of Alderaan and the Rebel forces, but it's not a huge jump to say this race of psychic deertaurs was possibly super over-represented among the ranks of a multi-race force of mystic space warriors. For a nearly wiped out semi-legendary race of incredibly force-sensitive beings who may have begun the Jedi order? We have the Pemalites. Crayak and the Ellimist could also fit into this theme of diametrically opposed forces of good/evil, light/dark, creation/destruction, etc. Perhaps as literal personifications of the Force itself? It's nearly impossible in this mashup to keep everything consistent from one universe versus the other, so we're throwing all the spaghetti at all the walls and seeing what sticks XD

How does the morphing power fit? Well, it easily can remain as: technology developed by the Rebellion (Andalites) to turn the tide of war, but how does turning into animals help in a setting where most of the major conflicts are fought in space, or with weapons and armies of ground troops? How does morphing translate into the SW setting as an allegory for the Force? I do not know. It could be that the Force, in this mixed universe, is more technologically based than spiritual: you need to be given it like the morphing power, but perhaps only "force sensitive" people can actually receive it.

Ep. IV: A New Hope follows the structure of the hero's journey, and roughly so does the first book of Animorphs, so that's a good place to start. As for the characters, that's the easy part..........

Tobias grows up in the boonies on Tatooine with his aunt and uncle. He's never known his father, but after finding an injured Andalite and a dog-shaped robot carrying a message from a beautiful golden haired princess, his friend the strange old blind woman who lives in the desert reveals that Tobias' father had been a Jedi who was murdered by the terrifying Yeerk warlord, Visser Three. Before he died though, Elfangor left a gift for his son that will change the course of his entire life........

Rachel was raised by the ruling family of Alderaan from a baby as a favour to her mother, a former Senator turned legal arbitrator. Her incredible intelligence, fighting prowess, political education, and ferocity in debate has made her a force to be reckoned with in the scene of galactic politics. She takes a leading role in the Rebellion at an astonishingly young age and she shows no sign of faltering. She certainly has no idea that a couple of her biological cousins are involved in the shady galactic underworld smuggling rings, and nor would she care; she needs to smuggle crucial information herself to the Rebel Forces herself, ironically. When her diplomatic ship is intercepted by Visser Three himself, Rachel doesn't miss a beat. There's only one person who can help her now.....

Jake may be a serious guy, unlike his best friend and huge hairy behemoth Marco, but he trying to do his best with what he's got. And what he's got is a fast ship, a quick mind, and an eye for getting out of trouble. He'll never be a leader like his older brother Tom, who governs his own city now, but he's content with his two-man operation and the life of a simple smuggler. This latest job they've taken, though, is a little out of the ordinary: ferry the entourage of an old blind lady and a wide-eyed country bumkin into the heart of Empire space. It wasn't even a very good offer, even with that pretty mechanic they hired, but for some reason he just hadn't been able to say no.......

Marco is not in the crime business for the money: he's in it for Jake. - Did Ana met the turtles's enemies? Big mama, hypno, foot clan..etc?

- how does the turtles react to their brother Leo begin in love with Ana? Like they'll definitely gonna pick up on it, no?

I think The Hidden City would be one of the first places Leo would bring Ana to see. I'm not sure what adventures they would have, tho, I came with an idea almost the same as in that episode Minotaur Maze with Leo mastering the maze to prove he's the champion. I have an idea of Leo dragging Ana into some kind of contest where they would need to work in pair to win. Except that unlike in that episode, this time they would actually win, and this would be one of the first times Ana would show Leo her faith in him.

Draxum would try to make a ninja out of her, because of her stealthiness xdd

I'm going to mix this question with the question about the episodes. So, I once had this dream where the turtles fought Hypno, and he used a spell that took a person's eyesight. So here would be an idea for an episode where Ana would accidentally get caught in the fight between the turtles and Hypno, and Hypno would accidentally put this spell on Ana. After that, Hypno escaped and the turtles went to find him to get rid of this spell before it becomes permanent (I even remember that this spell looked like a clock-face on your eyes.), and Ana would ask Leo to hold her hand the whole time because she's scared. And this episode would go the way to show how Ana would help saving the turtles when Hypno caught them, with them, and Leo especially, being Ana's eyes. I also have an idea for a more lighthearted episode where Ana would invite Leo to go to the amusement park with her, and he would thought they would do something like winning toys and maybe ride on a Ferris wheel, and she would drag Leo to ride on a roller coaster, double shot and stuff like that that's more extreme, and it would turn out she really loves something more like this, but doesn't ride them because she doesn't like to visit Amusement parks alone.

So, yeah, Leo's brothers would be in shock at first, because in the show Leo was usually shown to feel even disgusted by any display of love, so when he would have a crush on Ana, everyone would be stunned and shocked, and I of course they wold tease him. I imagine Donnie would give Leo some tips on dates and all.

As a teen i would go with words of affirmation and/or acts of service. After kraangification it would be mainly physical touch.

I think she's too nervous to work, but if she would try, yeah, I imagine her situations would be even worse than April's, because she's clumsy xd

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA IT SOMEHOW HITS ME- REMINDS ME OF THAT ONE UNDERTALE DIALOGUE: "what's a star? Can you touch it? Can you eat it? Can you kill it?... Are you a star?" IT JUST SUDDENLY REMINDED ME OF THAT!!! The stars were indeed a metaphor!! And how DJ loves those "Fake Stars" even if it was fake, he still found beauty in it, like how he did with Alan and his family :'')). The stars can be both a foreshadowing and a metaphor with Alan and DJ, with the stars being both fake and out of reach from DJ, just like he is with Alan (oop)

And ahh DJ backstory, super dope xDDDD. We can see here how much of a family Alan and Kaori really are to DJ, it really shows that DJ really loves them both, and losing them both is just......im sad for him.

Alan is so busy with his own world building that he completely forgot about his best friend DD": It's just not fair, clearly, it's not just Alan who is a bit messed up in the head now XDD.

And yipee ond DJ and Vic friendship XDD, Vic being so playful and DJ is the one that has no energy LMAOO. It's a duo we did not ask for but a duo we need.

And God, DJ and his mother. It's so fucked up that he thought what his mother was doing a form of love and freedom until he realized his mother just wants him gone :'')

And we know how DJ always puts his friends first before himself, that's why when Kaori and the kids died, DJ pushed his grief so far back just so he could help Alan to the point he completely forgot that he too has the right to grieve over them because Kaori was like a sister to him.

And Victim reminding of DJ the memory of when he used to stargaze and Alan would always mention that the stars are fake as a way to tease him. It is a parallel, being the first line in the chapter with DJ saying he wanted to see the real stars and fast forward to Victim saying he too wants to see the real stars. PAIN

DJ does need to meet the AA, those Alans would give him all the love he needs and maybe Snow would help him xDDD. KOM DJ would definitely try to cheer ATG DJ up!!

And oh my goodness, thank you, i want to write the story as a more of character study type. ATG DJ isn't an interesting guy, he has no powers, he has no flashy tricks up his sleeve, he is just him.

His friend left him, his sister Kaori died and his nephew and niece, and he's all alone trying to deal with the pain and hurt that was left. Maybe he gave too much love to other people that he forgot to give himself some as well :((.

The AU may have fooled you guys, thinking it would be all about ATG Alan and his cool and revenge escapades, or even Victim and his brothers goofing around. But in reality, we would just look at the AU in DJ's eyes. There's nothing cool about it, and there is nothing fun about it.

Let's just hope DJ and Alan would finally talk - S

DVMNINKTOBER Day 10 Satan

The tenth day is Satan! And one of the days I was looking forward to making the most, not just because Ryo/Satan is one my fave characters of the devilman series but also I have been wanting to make a Satan fanart piece based on this painting by Sir Thomas Lawrence, "Satan summoning his Legions" https://www.royalacademy.org.uk/article/how-to-read-it-thomas-lawrence-satan

When I first saw this painting I was so inspired and wanted to draw Satan riding on Caliorruar and rallying the demon army as they go to fight against Heaven! This was a hard one to do, because well I really tried to make the pose as close as possible to the Sir Thomas Lawrence painting but ofc Satan doesn't use a spear so I had to use myself as reference for how the left arm was meant to look. Also I wanted to make the shading on Caliorruar look like how Go Nagai did in the original 70s manga, and I played around with different inking brushes to get that effect. I also added a piece of cloth to wrap around Satan, one to censor his nudity but also give this piece a classical painting kind of look too.

I wasn't sure how this was going to look at first until I started adding on the shading and now I'm really pleased with how its come out!

phew that was a lot but I'm making progress, the next art batch is going to be mostly different versions of the day 11 prompt: fav ship/duo and given that I have quite a few ships I dearly love, I am going to be making quite a few versions of this prompt! XDD

Glad this is for every generation 'cause I love a lot of pokemon and it's hard playing favorites. xD

Confession time: I actually don't really have favorability for Dipplin as a pokemon. xD My naming choices for my username / Sweet & Sour Dipplins was more so designed with the intention of referencing and popularizing dipplinshipping ("dippin" -> dipplinshipping + "duo" -> Kieran & Juliana).

But! Challenge accepted, anon. Lemme whip out my pokedex. Note that I'm going more so for overall vibe favorability as opposed to gameplay usage:

Generation 1:

Welcome to Basic Bitch Land™, where I'm your mayor. xD I have a lot of general favorites for Gen 1, but Pikachu was always destined to be a fave of mine whether or not it was gonna be the mascot, ngl lol. I was very obsessed with Yellow as a child (and still very much am), so I wouldn't have been able to ignore this precious lil friend. A lot of the franchise has not helped. xD Generation 2:

This one is HARDDDD because like Gen 1 I have a lot of favorites and Ampharos is also right there (seeing a theme lol?), but Togetic has my heart. I fell in love with it more when I used one in Gen 8, and I actually like it a little more than Togekiss. xD It has such a cute and satisfying wing flapping animation/sound!! And I love its lore.

Generation 3:

Flygon is the GOAT, man. Cool dragon. Great typing & 6th pokemon whenever I'm building teams. Stellar moveset. Rad design that isn't overly complex. Need I say more? Generation 4:

Generation 5:

This answer surprised me! I've never used this line on my team before, but the concept of Sawsbuck (and subsequently, Deerling) just make me so happy. I feel really connected to the Earth whenever I see this pokemon, and their real life counterparts brings me a lot of peace as one of my favorite animals. Generation 6:

I also really love Floette conceputally, but Slyveon drove me crazyyyyyy when it first was announced. My irl friends describe me as either giving Sylveon or Leafon energy as a person (lol), and I certaintly see it. I love how strong this thing is too and it brings me so much joy to use it whenever I can.

Generation 7:

After Sweet & Sour Dipplins/running this blog, my undeniable favorite is Ribombee without question. But before that, it was Bewear! There were some other favorites I had for this gen too, but oh my god. This thing SMACKS people. And its SO CUTE. xD I loved using it on my team in gen 8.

Generation 8:

My love for my Applins in Sweet & Sour Dipplins aside xD, Hattrem was an automatic fave for this gen. Incredible design, super cute, whimsical and magical vibes with some interesting lore - LOVE IT. Lowkey would've loved to have this be the final evo with fairy typing because this mid evolution is where this line peaked, change my mind.

Generation 9:

The chaos behind this pokemon is too fucking funny. I harassed so many people with memes about this pokemon when Scarlet/Violet first came out. xDD For a split second it was my #1 fave because of how much it spoke to the pettiness in my soul. I will always love super cute pokemon that go "KILL". xDDD There you have it! :)

Symbolism in character design, the backgrounds, abilities names, I’m a sucker for shows and medias that have me over analyzing everything I could in terms of a character as a whole as well as their Morality, Psyche, biology, etc. just any character or moment I can just daydream about breaking down to their rawest moments and just analyze it til there’s nothing left for me to analyze over

The protagonist has flaws, and genuinely doesn’t win everytime (Yes even though I love Yusaku I mean this whole heartedly) XD

Yeah, that is pretty much of a given. Orihime wants to protect her friends, but something happens to her powers and she feels horrible about it, she has real flaws that any girl would have.

Espadas, Just the Espadas. More specifically, Ulquiorra Cifer and his Ressureccion looks like a genuine devil in Bleach.

4. If you count Isshin and Ichigo, then yeah, we have that. They are a perfect duo. Legit hilarious and Isshin actually loves his son and will protect him.

6. Yeah it does have that with pretty much every character in this show, even the jokey characters like Asano Keigo. There are hundreds of videos just talking about these characters.

7. Ichigo gets his ass kicked like every arc, at least. Not to mention, the internal battle that he has with his inner demon, both literally and narratively. This guy has more layers than an onion.

8. Pick one. You want angsty antagonist? Coyote Starrk. Angsty protag? Ichigo. Angsty female character? Rukia Kuchiki. Angsty side character? Uryu Ishida. It is filled with angsty characters.

9. Rukia, Yachiru, Yuzu, Karin, Nel, Toshiro, Momo, pretty much, anyone that won't kill you, but knowing you, you will adopt all of them.

10. Renji FUCKING Abarai, this boy is the most hilarious boy on the planet and I love him for that.

Titan speakerman looked cute in the beginning and then he started looking cool and then started roaring and slamming the crap out of the scientist repeatedly. Like he put out the fire and just waited patiently until scientist quieted down and then started roaring and then started slamming and even went faster when doing it XDD

I felt like the roar was an F U to the scientist XD

Man got manners and trauma XD

I just love how the other titans didn’t even stop him or anything when he was slamming him repeatedly lol and they basically went like yeah that’s justifiable, he went through a lot and god him delivering the last final blow felt so therapeutic. He deserved to do that blow

Kudos to dafuq?boom! for that lol

But he still got some explaining to do for the brave duo deaths ò-ó XD
