omg thanks for asking ❤️ i literally just mentioned some stuff about it in the previous ask i’ve answered so your timing is kind of on-point! i never know how much of that kind of stuff i should talk about online but 🤷🏻‍♀️

it’s all in flux i’m at the early outlining stage and creating the world and characters but basically it’s a romcom set in the mid-90s most likely in the uk ?? about a (generally) unlucky and quiet/stoic aspiring writer who works as an agony aunt for a magazine and who randomly inherits a manor and the ashes (lmao) of a lady he’s never heard of and he ends up moving to this tiny weird af isolated community in order to sort through her stuff and try to sell this relatively unappealing and falling apart house. but since he feels kinda guilty about erasing the life of a stranger who randomly picked him to inherit and he doesnt know what to do with her ashes, he teams up with the local librarian to research her life and find a Perfect Resting Spot for her. its all framed through her love stories bi king to dead bi queen communication style, spiderman pointing at himself meme, etc. anyways, local librarian is a ray of sunshine who transformed his dead parents’ bookstore into a library cos there was no accessible ones for their community and now he’s broke af. so mc promises to pay him once the manor is sold if he agrees to help and they travel the country together on a pilgrimage of past love stories.

its nothing particularly special or groundbreaking but i wanted to work on something warm and comforting and lovely. its a bit tts coded with the isolation and the bookworms4bookworms pairing but 🤪✌🏻
