why is your fic called fire on fire?

anon how does it feel to be my new favorite person sksksks 🥺🫂there are three main reasons why!!

The whole fic is based on the song "Fire on Fire" by Sam Smith, and I love fics with song titles it hits that spot in my brain imo (also the meaning of the song fits the two of them well). It popped up on my playlist and I was like "yes that!!"

In my HC, both of them are fire signs (Amala = Leo & Gabriel = Aries). I know that Amala is canonically a Cancer but that felt more canon for Amala on the Loyalty route and my Amala is on the Independence route (also Leo fits the whole Lioness theme the Basu family has). I was breaking my brain trying to figure out a title that was short and sweet and after I heard the song it just clicked
