i have GOT to invest in an actual sleeping schedule because i've been having sleep paralysis episodes for the past week
#my most recent incident is strange and scary at the same time#it was 7-ish? in the morning i believe#i'd woken up an hour earlier because of my internal clock#that and i was so used to having to wake up at 6 am before i started online homeschooling a few years back#sometimes it throws me off#and now...revisiting the incident#i knew it was sleep paralysis because i couldn't move any of my limbs if i tried#it felt like i'd inhabited one of those mannequins you see at those dying retail stores at a mall nearby#the only movement i could make was turning my head to the side#and there was this...claymation-esque face 'staring' directly at me with its eyes closed with an expression of anguish and pain#i was freaked the fuck out#i instinctually tried opening my mouth to scream but my sleep paralysis was NOT having it#thankfully this incident was only temporary and after i woke up a few hours later i felt remarkably better#i just needed somewhere to put this#almost like a virtual diary if you will
