it’s about; one of them was built as an object and transcended into personhood and was met with love and acceptance and had a body built for them to live in

and the other was created by a soul being stripped of its personhood and turned into an object and stapled into a body meant only to serve a function for others

*devolves into wild frantic hand gestures*

Recoco can taste and feel and have all these experiences bc she has a father who loved her and made her with the ability #to do these things. and Cephas doesn't have any of those bc their body was created to be an object #its the fact that their stories start at opposite places and yet ended up! in the same place!#the slow building of a consciousness where there was not meant to be one #R was made to be a music box that could learn new songs. an object that had intelligence built from the ground up #and outgrew the parameters that had originally been set for her to the surprise and joy of her creator and achieved individuality #and Cephas was a soul that had all of its individuality systematically stripped away from it until there was nothing left BUT intelligence #and the robotic completion of tasks given by the parameters their creator set for them #(and then Cephas became a whole ass person Anyway)#and then of course there is my darling Wyn. who is married to Recoco and Deeply Dislikes Cephas #it just makes my brain go brrrrr #i should! be trying to sleep right now. but i took an accidental nap earlier so now i am more awake than i should be #imma go to bed right after this tho i just had to get these thoughts out
