i always have to wonder which particular memories han sooyoung gave away in order to make the 1863rd version. given that so much of 1863rd hsy feels like a dark counterpart to the version we know, I tend to wonder if hsy dumped a lot of unpleasant memories into her so she wouldn't have to deal with them anymore. fits how hsy tends to think and behave, and explains her total nonchalance at losing that clone. while she's often rather blasé about losing memories when clones die, the fact that she dumped a huge amount of herself into a clone and didn't seem to care at all suggests to me that they were memories she didn't even want to keep.

so. here is a version of han sooyoung who is, quite possibly, imbued only with memories of a cold, lonely house, a childhood spent knowing her parents didn't really want her, an adulthood where she didn't truly connect to anybody. and she is pragmatic and not playful at all and disconnected from those around her and is deep down capable of destroying the universe out of care for the one person she's ever connected much with. a predictive plagiarist. athe director of the false last act.
