normally the biggest problem I face sleeping during the day is the sun (bright).

this week it's been the sun (hot) because my air conditioning doesn't work.

So I opened a window. (Wasp).

I keep googling if wasps will sting me if I just go to sleep and keep getting the same answer (wasps aren't active at night, so you're probably safe.) So. we're back to the first problem. the sun (activated wasp)

Also increasingly aware that a LOT of people "manage" getting through the 40+ hour work week by sleeping less than is healthy and relying on stimulants like coffee and energy drinks to keep them going.

For people who are unwilling or unable to do this...work really does just dominate your life. Like we really should not have to rely on unhealthy practices just to have a social life or keep on top of housework or whatever.

I know I post about this a lot but I'm so TIRED all the time and it's just so depressing that this is how we're expected to spend the one life we have.

#i have to get at least 8 hours of sleep a night to even barely function #with sleep #getting ready for work #commute #cooking #and errands #I typically have maybe 2-3 hours to actually do what i want in a day #and I'm usually too tired to actually do the things i want to do #and that's with a very short commute #if i actually had a long commute I'd basically do nothing but work #i see my friends like once every few weeks or months #because we're all so fucking busy with work and have such little time for socialising #and none of us even have kids or anything!!

You ever think about how the chain has to change their step sizes and like general gait in order to stay together as a group?

Like, I imagine Four walks with purpose. He's a focused lil guy- he's got places to be. But Time's strides have got to be much larger than his. When traveling as a group they must have all had to readjust.

Four and Time side-by-side walk animation but every couple steps Four has to do a skip hop or a lil jog to catch up. Also consider Four walking normally but Time is taking itty bitty steps.

#linked universe #I was in marching band and I work as a camp counselor over the summer #I can get across camp in 8 minutes on my own but if traveling with the itty bitties that's a half hour long trip #+ you gotta factor in time for water breaks #sometimes it's the older kids who lag. it's just generally how motivated the groups are to get places #but we are trained to like- be sure to keep in mind to take smaller steps when traveling with the littles cause they have short legs #I can keep my rhythm the same but make my step size smaller #anyways- how would this apply to the chain???!#rays random ramblings #lu analysis
