Sometimes, you're in a rush period that was supposed to last two weeks, but is still going two months later. You're so tired that you're as eloquent as Archie Andrews.

Then, you interview someone, a woman who is one of the biggest names in her field. She tells you that you're her favorite journalist, she thanks you because she thinks you help the advancement of equity and women. And you feel a rush (of pride this time) and you're weeping in your morning tea.

Life has been. Insane lately.

I’m finally almost completely moved in, but then my car breaks down (yet again), which means I can’t work since I drive for work. Which means no money. Which means no food or groceries.

Now my car is done being worked on and I can get back to work tomorrow, but I can’t get back the past few days of not working.

On a brighter side, I feel like I’m able to be myself much more than before. Getting out from my parents’ roof was a godsend. The circumstances of why it happened sucked, but I can tell it’ll be nice long term.

Now I’ve gotta look into a long term place to stay—most likely a rented house or apartment—with my brother because he doesn’t have anywhere to go after a few weeks/months from now.

During all of this, I’m trying my best to keep up with the fun stuff. I’m trying to get out of the house more, draw and write more. But it’s difficult with my work schedule.

Anyways, sorry for this rant haha. Life is insane and I’m so very tired, but I can get back to watching Sofia the First soon, so that’s exciting haha

i know this is more of an easter fact, but this christmas eve i am lying awake thinking about how the only thing i remember from my 8th grade confirmation after-school class is that jesus (or anyone crucified) died not from his wounds or starvation but from suffocation from body weight pulling the clavicles(?) and closing the trachea. yes, my class was taught by a History Guy. yes, i vividly remember him holding his arms up to demonstrate. no, i do not remember a single other lesson.

seasons almost over the hour is right -- the time for my top 5 micro pwhl moments that occurred in the regular season

1. discovering my barista friend has absolutely one-sided beef with zoe boyd solely bc she rushed her while making her coffee Once

2. noticing mpp in an mtl brunch spot solely bc i noticed her jawline; proceeding to just think i recognized her as some gay i knew in mtl. only realizing who she was when she looked up (causing me to go "OH" and spin around)

3. told buckles i couldnt quite pull off a blazer like her and got a look up and down with a "well, im dont know about that ;)"*

4. walking to work with a coffee and going "huh those women walking towards me from the hotel are weirdly hot" then realizing it was alina müller and tappani
