#okay so this is like my sum up of the whole season post #it's my tribute to wonderhole #this whole blog kinda is but ya know #I will probably make more gifs of the last ep but as this is the last ep of the season I thought I would do a gif round up #and making all these gifs kinda took it out of me #fun fact this is very close to the gif limit on here #it is a very long post but you know wonderhole deserves it #I have really enjoyed the season #from watching that first ep on my birthday til now #it has been a fun Saturday thing for me to watch in the morning and make gifs of for the rest of the day #I love that it all came back to the beginning with it all being what they filmed on the coconut while they were stranded on the island #I do love when stuff loops like that #Especially looping back to that beach scene which was the scene that made me make this blog #because it was so pretty I was like oh I need to make gifs and now here we are #my favourite ep is still the second one mainly because of the colours and future aesthetic it had #I think it was fun and it was fun to see them letting their creativity flow through the episodes #it kind of hits you with the comedy but it also makes you feel a lot of emotions which I have loved #so thanks wonderhole you have been a beautiful thing and I hope there will be more in the future ily #thanks to Rhett and Link for making this because I have loved it #it was a special thing #also shout out to everyone who has interacted with any of my posts on here I did not expect anyone to so thanks :))#these tags really just turned into me rambling so hi if you made it this far #rhett and link #rhett and link's wonderhole #rhett and link gifs #rhett mclaughlin #link neal #my gifs #wonderhole spoilers

Idk if anyone's ever talked abt these, but in the boueibu production images there's still some remnants of beta designs for the battle lovers!

From top to bottom; -Storyboard panels which clearly show that Yumoto was supposed to have dark hair at first. -Atsushi had shorter hair and sharper eyes (mainly his pupils). -Io had a softer bowl cut instead of the "I cut my own bangs in the bathroom mirror" thing he has now. His eyes were more open/bigger and upon closer inspection... it also looks like he had an earring? -Wom-san looking sopping wet and pathetic, like that kitten who fell face first into the milk. -And Ryuu... oh boy Ryuu. He's the whole reason i noticed the beta designs were still in here. Instead of a headband, he had hairpins, and no earrings. His haircut is still wild, but it sits completely differently. He is also small. Like. REALLY small. Smaller than Yumoto. I've placed their beta silhouettes over the final ones in the last image so you can see; everyone has pretty much the same height as their final designs except for Ryuu. -Strangely enough, I couldn't find any substantial proof for a potential En beta design. He looks slightly different in the storyboards, but so does everyone else (the boards are. REALLY rough.). His hair also looks ever so slightly different in the silhouette, but again, it's not substantial enough to say that he really did look different.

#rolling with difficulty #vrla rwd #mrsn rwd #rwd starship #shoutout to fall out boy for writing lyrics that absolutely slap with no context i guess #get it. do you get it. cuz mechanites don't dream (starts sobbing)#something something the least mrsn could ask for is for vrla to remember him fondly and he can't even do that bc all his memories are gone #also yes it's a stylistic choice to draw mrsn as the starry apparition here but it's also absolutely bc the apparition is easier to draw #ITS SO FUN. i just do a white outline with a little gaussian blur then go to town on the starry background #between the astral sea and the mrsn ghost i just keep having to draw that kinda starry background and i have lots of custom brushes for it #and it's just. so much fun. just slapping colours and shinies on the canvas like a small child #the original idea i had in my head was significantly less... close contact but then i looked up couples dancing pose refs on pinterest #and got the fucking gayest reference image ever so here we are #WALAO TUMBLR MOBILE FUCKED UP THE RESOLUTION AGAIN NABEI #art I made

Just so happy!#If you couldn’t tell from the colours in the drawing I’m team future btw #I laughed so hard seeing the results lol we got NOTHING #Oh and I guess I should put my reasoning for my pick of future #so here it is:#I picked it because the future scares me. But it’s gonna happen anyway so I might as well look forward to it #I can’t let myself worry about where I’ll end up and who I’ll be when I’m older #But I do need to keep looking forward #I also chose it cause of deep cut. Like that was a big factor in my choice #Their music shaped my tastes. I just love it so much #And sure the characters themselves aren’t as fleshed out as the other idols #But they still mean a lot to me as splatoon 3 is the game that got me into the franchise #Even though I played 2 before 3 could never fully enjoy it as I came too late #I missed every splatfest cause I got it a year before splat3 #So I could never connect the way I did to 3 #Hearing anarchy rainbow for the first time changed me man. I fell in love instantly. It just means so much.#As an autistic person I actually surprisingly don’t really stim that much. But hearing anarchy rainbow just… flipped a switch.#I couldn’t stop moving. Literally like DJ Octavio man. It was a crazy experience to just feel like I had to move.#to walk around or something. To wave and flap my arms. Copy their dances. It sounds a little weird and childish when it’s written down #But it’s true. Splatoon’s music showed me that my autistic stimming was something I should embrace.
