alright so basically the dark curse is the true main antagonist of miitopia and is a spirit who goes around possessing bodies and then uses them to steal faces and put them on monsters his backstory is that he originally was a normal mii living amongst everyone, but he was lonely and not really the happiest person due to being ignored by basically everyone my son he has every disease

Anyway so he ends up despising his face due to it being a "no-good, plain, boring face!" and casts it away. Which of course results in death, and his soul ending up just being filled with hatred and envy (also why the dark curse has green eyes, green with envy LOL)... anyway he ends up sealed in a box anyway here's how the ex-dark lord got possessed by the dark curse by the way

GO GO HARUKA!!! lotsa baby pokemon when she's younger :] the pichu turns into an idol pikachu mainly because i wanted something for her that'd fall in line with that but i also think igglybuff is ugly. sorry. happiny's there in particular because of the crazy eldest daughter syndrome she catches from y3 onwards LOL. that caretaker role hit her hard. sorry girl.

seviper's part of the matching set with kiryu's zangoose, naturally :] plus it fits the snake thing he's got going on with his tattoo. also some dogs!! specifically some fucked up ones!! also did you know froslass only goes after men it thinks is handsome. yeah.

daigo's so funny in y2 imo. aegislash is there in particular because it detects innate qualities of leadership!! anyway that bisharp becomes a kingambit when he's chairman (thumbs up!!)

tiger man gets the tiger man. cat. lots of big burly guys for the big burly guy. etc etc. i like that his training in y4 is just to go mining so i HAD to have at least one fossil mon. hi bastiodon!!!

tanimura gets a lot of fighty guys, in particular i tried to find ones that sorta fit with the little asia stuff he's got going on. blastoise is there because of the tortoise thing and he's got a gun so ??? actually i might switch blastoise out if i end up exploring this au more LOL and zebstrika's there because he's a horse girl <3

akiyama!! a bunch of kicky guys to fit his fighting style and talonflame because of his phoenix thing. audino because he's the lifeline of kamurocho :]

magikarp -> gyarados is literally THE most obvious thing to pick out for nishikiyama but if it works it works!!!

makoto and tachibana get a matching set of eeveelutions :] i think a shaymin shows itself before makoto either when she gets her watch back or when she gets the new watch strap

I think I did answer this one, but I don't mind.

You'd want to find yourself a Whismur partner.

I'd recommend Whismur over its evolved forms because of its size and what it can do.

Loudred and Exploud are absolutely capable of shutting down noise and reducing sound in an area, but between their size and how powerful they are, they are much better for making noise or working in larger areas.

Whismur is much smaller and is basically like a stuffed toy that can create a soundproof, or sound reduced area around itself and a person or two.

People with auditory sensory issues love these little guys because of that, their soundproof ability, and because they are so small and soft that a lot of people with autism find them very comforting.

They can also repeat songs back so that they can help calm down children, and they are super playful.

Wismur is a very great partner for folks with sensory issues or on the spectrum who get overwhelmed with the outside world.

They have been so effective, in fact, that they have become the official mascot for auditory awareness, and that has been so helpful for the cause.

Of course, there are some other pokrmon who can do similar stuff but not to the level as Whismur.

Jigglypuff and Wigglytuff can produce sounds at a certain level to cancel out sounds of a similar level, usually able to drown out most noises.

Vibrava and Flygon can vibrate their wings to do similar things. However, the sound they produce in return can be troubling for some folks.

Ultimately, you want to find a sound pokemon who can match back sounds of the surroundings.

-wilson.. oh he gets silly with it. he wears sweater vests on purpose to regress, and his favorite cg is house (yes house bullies him. and wilson lobs that tennis ball at his noggin i'm telling you)

-those big pillows of like, organs, but with cartoony faces on them, are his JAM. he even has a big one on his bed for cancer. house bought him an autism one when he was sad and he got so confused it knocked him out of depression and he had to go 🤨 at house

-he has thirty keychains on his keyring. yes they're wearing down. yes he always cries and buys new ones when one breaks. each and every one of them are medical themed, EXCEPT for the pokemon one house gave him as like, a friendship thing.

-he has so much friendship bracelets that house has to cut them off him if he has medical emergencies

-if hes sick YOU WILL KNOW. he is LOUD and he needs ATTENTION.

-in terms of like, cg stuff, i think he'd read science textbooks to his little 😭 just prattling on about the golgi apparatus gets them knocked out

-many of his sweater vests are very itchy and sweaty and gross so he gets it if you do NOT want to wear him. however he also has many college sweatshirts (peep the mcgill one fr) that are very old and fuzzy. you know he kinda has that grandpa vibe going on w his clothes.

-he HAAAAATES if house were to know you regressed. he gets so mad 😭 to him, if house were to take care of you for even a minute, that'd make you stop regressing altogether 😭

-his place is very chill but just remember he's like harvey from stardew valley. "did you know that your immune system is unaware of your eyes-" type conversations. it's not hard to get him to stop but you know it's in his head

it depends on which team we're talking because I have,, three-ish teams SDJKL

I cheat a little bit with this because it's all just make-believe anyways LOL but I have ... seven pokemon on my S/I's main team because I say that Henry (piplup) doesn't ever go into his pokeball (similar to Ash's pikachu lol) so I'd be able to carry six other pokemon with me still :3

that team is Henry (piplup), Grimsby (greavard), Greer (houndoom), Huey (psyduck), chatot, umbreon, and banette! (i'm playing platinum rn so I am waiting to get the pokemon in-game to name them for my S/I's team!!)

and then I also am putting together an all dog team because dogs are a lifelong special interest (autism) for me LMAO, I like to think that Junebug (S/I) infodumps about dog-like pokemon while Guzma infodumps about bug type pokemon :3

and thennn I've got my in-game team that I actually play with when I'm in a general area and not training up for a gym leader, which currently is usually some variation of this (WIP art piece):

okay so it's mostly based on original sumo because usum makes me irrationally angry (why can't they just let the evil lady be evil) with the exception of an epilogue based on the rainbow rocket story.

okay so the story is about two twins elio and selene. elio watched a recording of the red vs blue championship fight as a little kid and ever since has been obsessed with becoming a champion himself. meanwhile selene enjoys just having fun with pokemon. when their family adopted their meowth elio kept trying to teach it how to battle while selene tried to teach the meowth how to play fetch. poor kitty was tormented by two eight year olds 💔

anyway so when their mom decides to move to alola elio was NOT happy because "hey wait a minute there's no league there!" and selene is all like like "yippee!! we're going to go swimming everyday now!! :D"

so yeah eventually they get their starters (elio picked rowlet and selene got litten) and go traveling with hau and lillie. all them except lillie are doing the island challenge but elio is treating every trial like a life or death overdramatic challenge while selene is just doing it for fun.

usually selene is the goofy one and elio is the serious one but selene is actually the one who deals with the main plot most of the time. selene and lillie have a cute little gay thing going on they pick cool looking flowers they find and give them to eachother.

i don't have a ton of ideas on how the main plot changes because i like sumo's story a lot but yeah elio becomes champion and selene gets lusamine to stop being evil. oh and also lillie gets to keep nebby.

lillie leaves to go take lusamine to rehab in kanto but before she leaves lillie and selene has the world's most dramatic tearfull goodbye between two eleven year olds. (selene and elio's mom ends up giving them phone numbers so selene can text her girlbestie while she's away)

six months later lillie comes back to alola (also lusamine too i guess) and selene and lillie go back to being girlbesties. then suddenly rainbow rocket takes over aether paradise! whoopsie!

so yeah rr rocket happens but red, blue, wally, and cynthia get involved as well. i miiight have those two guys from kalos i don't remember much of be there too but i might just replace them with serena and shauna sorry. looker and anabel probably get involved too. volo is there too i guess but he's just there to cause problems on purpose

also also green, ethan, and silver are there too. they're on a ketchum (yes i gave red and green ash's last name) family vacation or something. ethan and blue are married to silver and red respectively so they're there too. green is actually the red from the rr giovanni timeline so uh yay awkward family reunion.

Got myself a new Starvixi (my sona's species, which I made) pokemon AU, Submas flavoured.

Ingo gets dropped in Sinnoh's past, as usual. But Emmet gets dropped on a completely different planet, same amount of time ago, but on an alien world.

Emmet, unlike Ingo, retains all memory of his past (but knocked unconcious) and is taken in by some concerned Starvix who saw this alien man get dropped from a hole in the sky.

Ofc Emmet's first instinct is to challenge these kind strangers to a pokemon battle, because:

'a whole new world of a whole new people, who are trainers, which means whole new variety of battle techniques with new moves and new pokemon'

He still ends up winning.

And then realizes "Where's Ingo" and spends the next few days looking for him with the help of the people who found him.

Obviously they don't end up finding anything, but the Vix that found him take him to the nearby City to try find help there as one of them 'knows a guy who knows a guy who knows a....'

The city is a bittersweer sight as it's the train capital of the planet, with rail lines webbing to any major settlement on Twideim (the planet).

Eventually after many failed searches, and many won battles, he becomes the electric type gym leader of the city. And now has life extending tech, it's usually used in Starvixi pokeballs due to their 12k year long lifespan and the desire to prolong their pokemon partner's lifespan to match their own.

Emmet ends up using the Twideimian varient of Chandelure, honoring his brother, his own Galvantula and Eelektross, and an Emolga to rember Elesa (because this is a nimbasa trio household 😤)

Anyways jump a few centuries and Emmet decides to start teaching a young aspiring trainer, Protoa (working name) who wants to be a gym leader herself when she grows up.

Que found family shenanigans and the kid, now in her early 50's (which is still only like being 15 for her kind so still a child) ends up being eebie deebied to good ol Unova, which obviously is not good for the mental health of someone whose lived way last his natural life expectancy and lost everyone and everything he knew save for him and his brother's pokemon.

Elesa in the meantime would be challenged by a hooded figure..

OOH FUN.... assuming you probably asked this bc most of my interests are games LOL but i jhave some Thoughts on games in General and the industry as a whole. buckle up!

- currently im playing. a lot of them obviously but my most recents are persona 5 tactica and the sims 4 :] - fav fav games EXCLUDING THE SPECIAL INTERESTS . - ghost trick, UT/DR, NITW, TS4 ( i havent played any other sims except the sims 2 pets for the 3ds im sorry.), super mario galaxy, goodbye volcano high - the special interest ones include pokemon (fav out of main series is sun/moon, black/white, and scarlet/violet, but i do like many spin offs like mystery dungeon), mii/wii games (i.e. wii sports), minecraft story mode, and the persona games (never finished one but i've reached various distances in P2IS-P5 excluding some spin offs and stuff like i havent started P5S or P2EP. favs r 3 + 4 + tactica) ^ ask me about any of those (or other ones i like i.e. gvh) i WILL ANSWER even if its something thatd be faster with google im better - underrated gems i'd say goodbye volcano high, death road to canada, chicory a colorful tale, signs of the sojourner, aviary attorney, tails noir, blanc. ghost trick to a lesser extent ig but the others are indie - current main wishlist (inc. ones i Will emulate): shin megami tensei V, devil survivor overclocked, fire emblem 3 houses, professor layton, pokemon black 2, persona q2, persona 3 reload ( I Want. Now. its on gamepass but i literally need everything related to it you dont get it.), wii play motion, twewy, and okami. OH also in stars and time and oneshot. also disco elysium and hylics look cool too. AND CASSETTE BEASTS. fuck i hate when every game looks good. need to play murder of sonic the hedgehog also. and looking forward to billy bust up. OH AND I NEED TO PLAY THE STANLEY PARABLE. Sorry this is a little late but YES. YES YOU CAN. Big post incoming.

Listen. People hate Ghetsis for completely valid reasons. But people like him, even relate to him, for completely valid reasons too. And I'm sick of people shitting all over Ghetsis and people who like him all the time, even when it's completely uncalled for. I'm sick of having to be "humble" and apologize for liking Ghetsis when introducing myself to people, lest they think I kick puppies and throw babies off cliffs for fun or something. Sick of scrolling his tag and seeing people calling him horrible things or, even worse, targeting his disabilities (physical and mental). Sick of people legitimately claiming he's homophobic, transphobic, even racist just because they don't like him. You do see how that's harmful to people in those groups who like him right. Furthermore, I have the type of RSD where if someone doesn't like a character I like I feel hurt myself. So you can imagine how hellish it is out there. I can't imagine how bad it is for systems with Ghetsis introjects. So for all the completely normal people bearing the curse of simply enjoying a character:

Ghetsis likers! You're valid!

Ghetsis is a very complex, layered character! There's lots to like about him! He's pretty, he's funny, he's tragic, he's a depressed middle aged man.... The list goes on! There's also many valid reasons to relate to him! Ghetsis is implied to have several mental illnesses/disorders/etc that aren't often seen, especially not in a Pokemon game. He's paranoid, he has PTSD, NPD, body dysmorphia, he even shows autistic+adhd traits. He's also a cane user and is popularly interpreted as being an amputee/prosthetic user and having chronic pain from the injuries on his eye/arm/leg/etc. Although him being a villain doesn't do much for "good representation," it's okay for you to see yourself in him! I relate to him for his paranoia, PTSD, and autistic/adhd traits, and that's okay! And some may ask "But N is autistic and likely has PTSD too, why not relate to him instead?" Some may relate to him too! You're allowed to like both of them! Ghetsis and N likers aren't mortal enemies, we're not that different! But not everyone can just choose which characters they attach to. And some may relate to Ghetsis more for a variety of reasons. Ghetsis has a slower, more rough process of healing that may appeal more to some people. You're not obligated to relate to one character over another because the first one isn't a "good guy."

Even if you don't particularly relate to him, you can enjoy him just for the sake of liking him! Some reasons I just think he's a fun character:

His silly "mya-ha-ha-ha!" laugh!!!

The fact that he tries to look intimidating and scary only to call the player in USUM "tiny intruder"

Gee N, your dad is gnc AF!

The fact that he does so much to make himself seem emotionless but is still clearly very emotional. There's lots of things that confuse and scare him!

His passion! His love for Unovan history and public speaking! (even if he's not the best at delivering them without pacing around and stuttering and trailing off...) (#autism)

His terrible fashion sense. He looks like he fell through a window and got caught on the tapestry. His unexplained love for eye motifs. Me too.

The sheer fact he's such a layered character. There's a lot about Ghetsis that's never directly stated in the games, and much to be picked up from subtle implications. His history as a descendant of fhe Ancient King, his several traumatic life experiences (two separate pokemon attacks, and of course the "memory that has continued to haunt [him]," etc.

His incredibly silly dynamic with Colress. According to pokespe and the RR episode, they've known each other for years, much longer than one would think initially. Trying not to steer too much into antigrav territory, their friendship is unique and funny. They're best friends. They threaten to feed each other to Kyurem daily. As long as they don't get caught, they plan on conquering Unova together. Colress annoys Ghetsis on purpose and Ghetsis responds with ranting about him in private but still raising his paycheck. Chaos duo.

This post is already so long, and I could say more, but to top it off I want to say:

Ghetsis likers who hate N and N likers who hate Ghetsis are the weakest link. As I said earlier, we can enjoy both! Ghetsis enjoyers and N-joyers, we have a lot in common! We both love a very clearly autistic guy with lots of trauma and pretty long hair! It's not a stretch to assume most of us have some parental issues we're coping with by attaching to them! Furthermore, you don't have to "avenge" N by violently hatimg Ghetsis. N still loves his dad, and even if he doesn't have to, he still wants Ghetsis to heal and get better (Cue to... Everything he says to Ghetsis, and even his line when teamed up with him in Pokemas: "I still have hope for you, Ghetsis..."). If he saw the things some of you say about his dad, he'd be horrified. I promise you, saying you want to kick out Ghetsis' cane and take out his other eye just makes you ableist, not a soldier fighting for N's honor. People who like either character aren't at war with each other! I love my N-joyer friends! We can coexist.... Harmonia enjoyers holding hands and singing in a circle...

That's about it! Sorry I'm so passionate about this, I've just seen a ton of hate on Ghetsis lately and I want to combat it. By the way, feel free to send me an ask about any of the stuff I mentioned here!

Mc's bear Collection

There is a shop that opened up in the Devildom. They sell stuffed bears that look like each of the boys. The bears are very popular, and after buying one, Mc had to get them all.

Lucifer's stuffed bear was the first one Mc bought. He had soft black fur and his clothes had all the details. Bear Lucifer sat right next to Mc's pillow. His name is Mini Luci. Lucifer saw the bear when he came to check on Mc. Their usual lamp was on and the little guy was on their lap as they played pokemon on their ds. Lucifer took a picture and asked Mc where they got the plush. Smiling when they excitedly explained about the new store and saying they were going to get the others so Mini Luci wouldn't be lonely, happy hand flapping the entire time. Mc asked Lucifer if he wanted to go with them when the store restocked to get another, he agreed. (He totally placed a custom made bear of mc)

Diavolo had heard about Mc's mission from Lucifer and found it amusing. Diavolo's bear was one of the most difficult to get because he was always sold out. Diavolo had heard Mc's frustration when they were ranting to Solomon. So Diavolo bought his stuffed bear version and gave it to Mc the next time he saw them. The reaction he got was worth it. Mc bounced, squealed, stimmed, and hugged both the bear and Dia. Diavolo's bear had soft red fur and his clothes were very detailed and soft. Mini Dia sits next to Mini Luci on Mc's bed. Diavolo has many pictures of Mc cuddling and carrying the bears around, especially his.

Simeon's bear was one of the easiest to get. Mc got Simeon's and Luke's at the same time. His bear also had soft black fur and his clothes were soft and the cape detachable. Simeon and Luke had gone with Mc to get the bears. Luke getting Simeon and Simeon getting Luke. Sometime later Simeon was visiting the HoL and found Mc wrapped in their special blanket holding mini Sim while they slept. He now has a photo of it as his background. Mini Sim sits next to mini Solo and Mini Lu

Barbatos knew about his bear. He was at the shop when Mc went to buy his and stayed with them as they navigated the crowded store. He made sure no one tried to take the bear away as there had been reports of fights breaking out over the bears. Barbatos was Mc's barrier, kept people out of their space and made sure Mc wasn't overwhelmed. He sent Mc outside when they did get overwhelmed and bought the bear for them. Giving it to Mc to carry on the way back. Barbatos's bear had dark green fur with a teal strand on the left side of his face (I'm sorry if that's not right I'm not the best knowing left from right) with somewhat rough clothes. Barbatos has a picture of Mc holding the bear when they were relaxing in their space with their special blanket. Mini Barbs sits on the other side of Mini Dia.

Solomon was the one who introduced Mc to the store and was there when they got the Lucifer bear. Solomon also went with them to get his bear. Solomon was protective over Mc as they got the bear, but Solomon being Solomon he had to tease. Solomon's bear had soft white fur and rough clothes with a soft cape. Solomon teases Mc and has just as many pictures of the two. His favorite picture is of Mc with Mini Sol in their lap as they read a spell book. Mini Sol sits next to Mini Sim and Mini Lu

Mammon's stuffed bear was the second bear Mc bought. His bear has white fur with rough and kinda flashy clothes. Mammon had been given a bear version of himself when he modeled for the store. He had passed Mc at the store on his way home and tagged along with them as they went into the busy store. He was keeping people away and even grabbed his bear version off the shelf for them. They both took pictures of the two with the bears and Mammon has the picture as his background. Mc named the bear Mini Mamms. Mini Mamms sits next to Mini Luci on MCs bed.

Levi was one of the few who gave Mc his bear version. His bear has soft purple fur with soft comfy clothes. Levi knew the store was always so crowded every time they restocked and Mc was having mini shut downs when they came home because of how bad it could get. Levi had found the store's online website and ordered two of his bear versions, one for him and one for mc. The next time mc went out to get a bear Levi stopped them and brought them to his room where he surprised mc with the bear. Mc squealed and did thier happy stim. Levi was happy that he was the reason mc was so happy. He even has a few pictures on his D.D.D of mc cuddling with the bear while they binged anime with him. Mc named the bear Mini Levi. Mini Levi sits next to Mini Mamms on Mc's bed.

Satan's bear was an ordeal to obtain. His was the third hardest to get. His soft blonde fur and soft clothes made the bear extremely desirable. Mc had put a hold on a bear ahead of time to be sure they'd get him this time. Mc had run into Satan on their way to the store and he tagged along to keep Mc safe. After getting to the store and giving the clerk their order number, the two encountered some trouble. Satan had stepped away to look at some accessories that caught his eye, and a nearby demon who had overheard Mc talking to the clerk about the bear was enraged. The demon charged towards Mc yelling and threatening them to give the demon the Satan bear to him or they'd get hurt. Mc was shaking and covering their ears, the closeness of the demon and their yelling had overloaded Mc's already sensitive senses. Satan snapped his head towards the two and immediately put himself between the demon and mc. Satan forced the demon to leave and after paying for the bear walked Mc back home, letting them stay in his room to calm down. He did get a picture of Mc cuddling the bear in his sweater. The bear is named Mini Kitty and he sits next to Mini Levi.

Asmo's bear is the second hardest to get, but Mc didn't buy his. Asmo's bear has soft pink fur with soft but kinda scratchy clothes. Amso was also a model for the store so he was able to get two bears one for him and another for mc. When he got home from his shoot he went straight to Mc and gave them the bear. Asmo was able to record Mc's extremely happy reaction. Happy hand flaps, squealing, bouncing, and a hug for Asmo. Asmo is also the one to constantly bring accessories for Mc's bear collection. Asmo's favorite picture is when Mc had stayed over in his room and he found then asleep in his bed in some of his softer clothes cuddling his bear. He has it as his background. The bear is named Mini Azzy and he sits next to Mini Kitty.

Beel had no idea about the store or the bears until he saw the collection on Mc's bed and their excitement when they explained they were still trying to get everyone because they are all so popular. Beel went to his twin after talking with Mc and they put in a secret order for their bears to surprise Mc. Beel's bear has soft orange fur with soft big clothes with white fur around the hood of the bear's hoodie. When Mc went to get the next bear or two for their collection, Beel and Belphie asked to tag along. When they got to the store Belphie went up to the counter to get the order while Beel kept Mc distracted. After Belphie got the bears they took Mc out of the store and gave them the bears. Mc was ecstatic and bought them lunch as a thank you. Beel has many pictures on his D.D.D of Mc with both his and his brother's bear, his favorite and lock screen is a picture of Mc cuddling both his and belphie's bears while sleeping with belphie in the attic with Belphie's favorite as his background. The bear is named Mini Bee and he sits next to Mini Kitty.

Belphie learned of the bears and Mc's mission to collect all of them through his twin after he had talked to Mc. Belphie was the one to suggest placing an order ahead of time and surprise Mc when they go next time. They put in the order and when Mc was headed out to get their next bear they tagged along. Beel distracted Mc while Belphie got the bears from the clerk. After getting them and leaving the store. The twins surprised Mc with the bears. Belphie's bear had soft navy white white undertone fur and soft cuddly clothes. Mc thanked them by buying lunch and letting Belphie use them as a pillow when he took a nap. Belphie definitely has pictures of Mc with both bears and especially his, but his favorite is one where they were cuddling with Beel and the bears while watching a movie. The picture is his lock screen with Beel's favorite picture as his background. The bears name is Mini Bel and he sits next to Mini Bee

Luke's bear was the second easiest to get. Mc got Luke's and Simeon's at the same time. The angels had gone with Mc to get the bears and they made sure Mc was alright. While they were there, Luke got a Simeon bear and Simeon got a Luke bear. Luke's bear has soft light blonde hair with a little hat and soft angel clothes. Anytime Luke comes over to the HoL there's always a chance he'll find Mc holding, cuddling, or have the bear in their lap while they're doing something. Luke has a selfie of him and Mc holding their bears. He got Levi's help to make it his background. The bears name is Mini Lu and he sits in between Mini Sim and Mini Solo.

During the time Mc was collecting the bear versions of all their friends Diavolo had put in an order with the store to have custom made bears of Mc for everyone. He even added Lucifer's order to his so he wouldn't get two Mcs. It took a few weeks but when they were done Diavolo received them. He invited everyone to the castle and gave the Mc bears to everyone, even Mc. He said the bears would be lonely if they didn't have their Mc with them. Everyone accepted the bears and Mc now has many pictures of the boys holding, cuddling, or having the bear in their lap as they do things on their D.D.D. Their background is a picture of everyone holding the Mc bears. Mini Mc sits in the middle of all the stuffed bears, their collection now complete.

what are some of your headcanons (if you have any) for jaden and zane? they're my favorite gx characters (and imo the epitome of adhd/autism solidarity) and i like hearing people's takes on them. also .

OH BOY DO I!!! :D omg it's so funny you ask, I love Jaden and Zane too, and ive been especially having Zane Brainrot for like the last 72 hours so the headcanons have been COOKING big time..... in general i love coming up with yugioh guy headcanons, there's so much potential there eheheh.

Jaden:

I think you're dead on the money with him having ADHD.... it fits him SO well. He especially strikes me as someone who doodles a Bunch in the notes of his classwork to help with focus issues (to varying levels of success.)

Impulsively throws up a peace sign 90% of the time someone takes a picture of him.

I know in my heart this kid can and will take any opportunity to shout "Parkour!!!" while jumping off of picnic tables and benches and shit. Just channeling all his energy into unabashed teenage boy jumping and bouncing around and goofing off. I think even before I watched GX I felt like he had the energy of this vine.

Loves video games!! Nothing beats dueling of course, but he'll have a grand old time with his beat up Gameboy Advance SP, playing Pokemon Firered for the 5732754 time. I think he'd really love games like Smash Bros. too, just has a great time with them. He'd also love Sonic the Hedgehog...definitely loves the Sonic Adventure 2 soundtrack. (Every SA2 song sounds like a gx dub background track. buy my silence!!!)

He's constantly leaving a trail of napkins and crumbs everywhere. Jaden feels very "shoved a snack in his pocket for later" energy. Popping out a pack of Oreos mid-duel to nibble on.

Would enjoy nearly all superhero movies regardless of quality. This specifically pisses Aster "perpetually writing a Batman video essay in his brain" Phoenix off to a tremendous degree <3

Definitely had a fursona when he was like 12 and it was absolutely like. A zany cyborg superhero sparkledog with space powers or something like that. Just total shameless self indulgence. The Neo Spacians are basically his OCs after all!! He's a creative kid. ;w;

Zane:

Likes heavy metal but also the crustiest early 2000's techno you can imagine. Unironically thinks the 7 minute long full version of Darude's Sandstorm kicks ass.

Lately I've been especially into the idea of Zane enjoying TTRPGs and particularly being a bit of a Perma-Dungeon Master (i, a perma DM, enjoy inflicting this upon characters lmao). I think he'd really into running these dense, edgy, rules-and-combat-heavy campaigns where there's like a solid 70% chance your character is gonna die. (Meanwhile Atticus does everything in his power to make the stupidest, goofiest character imaginable every time he plays in one of Zane's campaigns. unstoppable force meets immovable object etc etc)

I feel like bad eyesight runs in this family but Zane either never bothered to get glasses/contacts or willingly doesn't wear them. Is he glaring at you from across the room? Nope, he's just trying to make out a sign on the wall and he can't see shit. :/

Might throw "has a gluten intolerance" on top of all the other shit he's dealing with, as part of my ongoing agenda of making characters i like have gluten issues. Probably lactose intolerant too like Syrus. Guy looks like eating is probably one of his least favorite activities. Like. he'll do it. but hes not thrilled about the experience.

ok sorry i assign "Pokemon liker" to like every yugioh character but I'm really enamored with the idea of zane and syrus being "kids where one got pokemon red/gold/ruby and the other got blue/silver/sapphire" i think it's so sweet ;__; Zane has MASSIVE "gets really into competitive Pokemon and takes it dead seriously" energy. Stays up late playing ludicrously difficult ROM hacks and testing competitively viable teams. I think he would really like Dialga. <3

Definitely picked up some of Jaden's dorky ass slang whether he wanted to or not. He straight up says "throw down a facedown" in one episode and out loud i was like "oh he DEFINITELY got that from jaden." they are FRIENDS

I’d pair you with Uraraka from MHA and Amethyst from Steven Universe  Amethyst and you would chill and watch TV while eating pizza together. She’d support you through and through. You guys would mainly stay inside for movie dates and eat takeout together while cuddling a bit. She loves pokemon and is so excited once you introduce it to her. Her favorite pokemon would likely me mew or dido Uraraka and you would go to the zoo often just to see the pandas there and you’d always get a new plushie for one another and then surprise each other when you get home with what animal you got one another. My girlfriend doesn't know I'm Autistic, I'm not sure how to tell her? I've had to stop her in the middle of it before but I was too scared to tell her why.

First of all im so sorry for the delay in reply here!! work and life got in the way but here i am finally!!!

But okay so I’ve been trying to give this some thought,,, personal opinion is that you should tell her, because it will help you to communicate a lot of situations like this! But! I also know how terrifying that can be. So I’m not trying to pressure you in any way here but I’m gonna give some tips on how ive told people i was autistic? maybe that may help? let me know!

So first thing i usually do is try to figure out how they feel about autistic people in general by bringing something up about autistic people... like for example. If you have an autistic friend, just casually bringing them up/the fact that they’re autistic up and seeing how they respond. (do this carefully if it’s someone you both know/both are close to. get permission from that friend first!!) Another thing i’ve done is bring up someone famous like... “did you know the guy that created pokemon is autistic?” just to see the reaction. Use something that relates to you/your girlfriend so it will be more of a natural question! :)

from there, if she seems to be chill with it, I would just tell her. That’s the really hard part. maybe text it or write it down somehow and hand it to her if you cant make yourself say it? But really just in general letting her know youre autistic will open up a lot of communication windows for you so long as she’s not ableist... and if she is, that may be a problem in the future... but at the same time, /I/ used to be ableist until I learned better so I tend to give everyone at least a couple chances lol!

Also, before you do tell her, if you’re anything like me, I like to have lists written down to organize my thoughts. So with that maybe write down like how your autism affects you, why you wanted to tell her, any sensory issues/communication issues you wanted her to be aware of. It may help you to stay focused/not be so overwhelmed when that conversation actually does happen. This should also probably be where you explain that this is why you’ve had to stop her in the middle of ~fun times~ & what exactly was going on there. Then you guys can work on figuring out how to make things easier/better for the both of you!

ALSO! I would hope that she would appreciate your honesty with her. Because once you’re able to let her know that this is what’s going on with you, like i said earlier, it’s going to open up a lot of communication opportunities with you guys and will let her know she can trust you and that you trust her as well.

My Favorite Insects

Well howdy ya’ll Galactic Bug Man here with another blog post. Sorry this is long over due I have been busy with school and I have had some family issues that needed to be resolved this last few months but I am back with another blog post and just in time for the start of *drum roll* *fanfare* INSECT SEASON! or just spring. 

So In my last post that was back in November I said that I would talk about what are my favorite insects. For the record some people may tell you that you can only have one or two favorites of everything. Well for me that has always been hard for me. Anything that interests me automatically becomes an obsession with me. With the autism it is kind of hard to ignore things that have a profound interest with me. Some people just have one favorite or each category. As for my goofy/nerdy self I have many favorites on many levels. For me I don’t just have one favorite science fiction TV Show or movie, same goes for Cartoons, comedies, food...eh you get the picture. Anyway I don’t just have a single favorite family of animals or just one favorite species for each. 

In my line of a hobby it is the thrill of the search and an encounter goes. For me favorites come in many forms and have different lifestyles, and sometimes the story that will form when I find an organism helps make an organism my favorite. So there are many things that add up to make an organism a favorite. For me it is all of these put together. Even though I am a storyteller of sorts and love to share experiences I have had finding certain species. So now let us go into some of  my favorites from the world of insects. Even though I am a birder too think I am just going to leave this post strictly for the insects. Just FYI I am expanding my blog to more than just insects. In the future I will be talking about birds, mammals, and all things natural. So with that said let us dive in to Insect family #1... 

Beetles have become a growing obsession for me in the last few years. Back when I was in the Future Farmers of America I participated in an entomology contest once in the spring of 2011 then I did another one in spring of 2012.It was like a UIL contest of sorts but it was an FFA governed contest. We had to study a list of 125 or 150 insects I can’t really remember the amount we had to ID but it was a lot. The Texas Ironclad Beetle was one of the many on the list. (the picture was a photo I took of one during the 2017 iNaturalist City Nature Challenge of that same species.) The FFA contest really opened my eyes to loving the insect world. I became quite interested in the lives of insects and the ways they work. Butterflies had always been a favorite subject of mine ever since I was in grade school. My late grandmother (who passed away back in August of last year) got me butterflies and we had a garden at the house we moved from back in April for a long time. Most insects didn’t really appeal to me until my time with the Martin High School FFA. Me and the teams I had both years won first prize at the contests so that is how my love for loving insects a lot more than I did started to grow. Beetles started to grow on me. There have been many species that I have seen in the last few years that I wouldn’t believe existed. Some are just so amazing to watch and to photograph. 

 A growing favorite group of mine would have to be the Tiger Beetles. They are some of the prettiest and most vibrant colored of the beetles. This one was found at Thora Hart Park a few blocks from where I live now. We moved back in April of last year. This was found on one of our getting ready to move days. This guy is called a Chartreuse Tiger Beetle. It is a really shiny one. I found this one on one of the sand paths out there in the back forty of the park. It is small but the number of Tigers is amazing. There are a lot of deep sands out there and on any given hot and sunny day they will be out. Tiger Beetles are known for being fast throughout their lives. They have good eyesight even when they are larva which is kind of interesting for an insect. They are also predatory their whole lives. With a sharp pair of scissor-like mandibles and a tiger like attitude they are a fascinating beetle to observe. Both fast runners and fast fliers they one of an insect’s worst nightmares. This one was really cool. I saw this flash of green and blue. Then it landed in front of me and then I saw a flash of red. These guys are actually yellow on their wing covers; but when the sun hits them just right they shine a bright reddish orange color. That is what makes them really appealing to me. We all like shiny things don’t we? Shiny rocks, Pokemon, silver, gold. You name it people love shiny objects. For me shiny beetles are no different. 

Another one of my favorites is this one called the Carolina Tiger Beetle. This one was one cool Tiger Beetle. I was out at a park called Parr Park in Grapevine Texas. There was a bunch of these guys running about the light traps we were using during one of our field investigations which was a Moth Night. A moth night or mothing event is where you set out lights with different wave lengths and purposely attract insects to photograph and document them. I have been on several in the last couple of years and they are loads of fun. They are cool because you don’t always get to see the creatures of the nocturnal world that often if you are a day person. Me I am more of an afternoon and night person. I have never been much of a morning person.That doesn’t mean I won’t get up early some days and go early morning birding or something like that. I do that sort of thing all the time but the night time when it is really muggy and sticky outside the bugs just come from out of the wood work. I don’t suggest doing those kinds of events if you don’t like bugs touching you or if you have a fear of insects because they will get into you mouth and your hair. Anyway getting back on track. I had my flashlight on and I was just looking down to see what I could find. I saw a couple of purple streaks running around at the base of our sheets that the bugs would cling to while we took photos. These guys really catch your eye and the refection from a headlamp or a flashlight is amazing when the light bounces off these guys. It is amazing how shiny they are. That is why I love these guys because one they are appealing by vibrancy in color and by their amazing patterns and shades. They are amazing little creatures. They are tiny and you can easily miss them. That is why you will not have tour guide going to have a tour guide with a group of people looking for these guys. They are too small and will flee in an instant. Still going out by yourself will be your best bet on seeing these guys. 

Another one of my favorite beetles is this kind. This one is known by only a scientific name. It is called Zygogramma Heterothecae. It is a mouth full I know. This photo was taken at Tarrant County College’s South Campus where I go to school. I found this guy on one of my study breaks. On most study breaks I either go to the school’s game room and hang out with the other nerds or I go out and see what insects I can find so I can upload them to iNaturalist. This guy was at one of the best places to look for insects on campus (the library). This guy was the first one I have seen. Just look at those markings; it almost looks like a tribal painting or something from a tropical land. It is amazing how these guys look. I posted it to the iNaturalist website and turns out it had never been found in the Metroplex before so I got to expand its range just a little bit. That is another factor that makes an insect my favorite for its rarity or if it is a new one for a new range of territory. I have expanded ranges for a lot of insects on iNaturalist in the three years I have been using it. It is not that I am a big shot or anything it is just that I like to take pictures of everything from common insects and birds to the really hard to see ones. It is often the small things that are the least observed. I don’t know just how many species in total I have expanded for but I have also found several firsts for many parks around the area. One of my friends tries to give me the big head and calls me a rockstar. The truth is I am no rockstar or super naturalist I am just doing what a citizen scientist does take photos and send them on the database website and let nature take its course. I mean it is cool that I have found a lot of species that are rare and maybe out of place but I am not one who likes to take credit; I am the kind of person that likes to give credit when it is due. I have always been modest in this case. But yes finding rare things like this adds to the value. 

Sometimes a bug just has to look like a spaceship or an visitor from another world to get my vote. Many insects I encounter remind me of things from Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica (1978 version with the Ovion Bug People) among other science fiction movies and TV shows. This guy Delphinia Picta or Picture Winged Fly is a wild looking one. It almost reminds me of the Bounty Hunter Greedo that worked for Jabba the Hutt that Han Solo blew away with his laser pistol in Star Wars IV A New Hope. It has a head that looks just like Greedo’s face minus the green with the bumpy texture and the funny looking ears. This guy is just bizarre looking all together. It looks like a starship with a Greedo head. so that is kind of fun and adds to the favorites if they remind you of fun things like that. Many insects in my mind always look like a sci-fi or horror movie monster from the 1930s- 1960s with the B horror classics. That is just it with being a nerd you see things like that out in nature and as a huge nerd of science fiction and stuff like that I have a lot of fun with it. I seriously can’t be out with a group on a BioBlitz see a bug and shoot off my mouth with some kind of silly science fiction reference. Thankfully I am with people that get it so I am safe but yes it is true that I can’t go a day without referencing a TV show, movie, or book. I am just that kind of guy even when it comes to nature. I surprised no one has gotten sick of me yet in my naturalist group. Lets look at another insect that looks like an alien shall we. 

This guy is called the Wheel Bug. Named after its weird Buzz Saw like blade on his midsection. I am surprised that when they made the Starship Troopers series they didn’t make a bug that looked like this monster. This guy is a true monster. I It conjurers up a lot of science fiction nightmares just by looking at it but man I live for this kind of stuff. I love weird looking bugs. The weirder the creature the more blown my mind is. Sometimes the things with a face only a mother could love are the best things to look at. This guy you do not want to pick up just FYI. It can bite and it bites hard. I have never been bitten but good golly I know people that have been bitten and they say it is a feeling you don’t want to have. It may not kill you but it can leave one nasty mark. This guy is a member of the Assassin Bug group and it is one of the largest. Most assassins don’t get this big but these guys are over an inch long in some cases. They are a true monster but heck just as long as you keep your distance they can’t hurt you. So that is one factor for me I guess. Some animals like elephants may remind you of Dumbo or a baby deer may remind you of Bambi. However if you are into bugs and a pop culture nerd you will probably be seeing some Close Encounters business. Just saying I have been on the sci-fi bandwagon all my life and let me tell you some insects get even stranger and bring even more science fiction stuff to the table. 

Some times it just has to have a fun name to say and since we just went down a path of sci-fi reference I think this one would be great to talk about. This little butterfly is known as a Phaon Crescent. I think that name sounds so much like a ship name (just the Phaon part). This guy is a very pretty butterfly that looks very much like a starburst or a disco ball. It is a very interesting butterfly and is just as small as its sister species called the Pearl Crescent which we get here in Texas too. These are not as common for me on a more personal note but they do happen quite frequently. Both are really pretty but this one gets bonus points for having such a cool name. 

Sometimes to be a favorite they have to look weird before you can figure them out and know what they are doing. As in this case for this little Yellow-collared Slug Moth. You see that arched thing? that is its butt. I am just going to say this now like I have said so many times I am glad I don’t have to put my face near my butt for protection. This moth is in its defensive position. I was in a group doing another event out at Parr Park and I was coming back with a few other and I spotted him on a garbage can and we couldn’t figure out what he was or what exactly he was doing. So yes sometimes the oddest bits of behavior help with the humor of a potential favorite observation.This guy was just doing what he does best when not looking for food or a mate. 1. he had chosen a good hiding spot that matched his color. 2. he was just in the defense position so that way nothing serious would happen to him if he was attacked. 3. It just looked funny to us. We all gave it crazy bewildered looks trying to make heads or tails out of it. Turns out many moths do the same thing like the Eggplant Leaf-roller Moth and others. So sometimes the things we don’t understand may seem like a good laugh and that could add to a fond memory. 

So that is it some of my favorite insect moments frozen in time. I have tons more favorites but it is kind of hard to cram them all into a single blog post when you have over 5,000 observations and over 1,370 species on your life list. Man, god, im just suddenly thinking about "ak/ur/oku" and like.. How the fuck did that even become such a huge thing in early 2000s fandom? Dear god so much early gay shipping in fandom was super unhealthy "sinful" bullshit made by straight people for fetishy purposes rather than genuine representation. But a/kurok/u was such a weird one because it was like.. Just globally accepted and never aknowledged to be problematic?? Man i still remember how lil 13 year old me didnt know there was anything wrong with it, like seriously when stuff like this becomes popularized it ends up sending bad messages to actual queer youth. Learning about your sexuality via the internet cos there's no sex ed irl for you, abd you end up stumbling into toxic fandoms before you have the critical thinking skills necessary to know that this stuff is bad and shouldnt be imitated. Like seriously one of the things i worry about EVERY NIGHT AT 2AM THAT KEEPS ME FROM SLEEPING is that stupid lil 15 year old me made a post on deviantart going like "are pedophiles really all bad? I mean it sounds like an illness. I mean maybe theyre just scared and they want help." Like im terrified constantly that someone will find that old thing and judge me as if i still believe that apologist crap, or as if it was actually an opinion i formed from a fully developed mind, rather than from a kid who (as far as i knew) had never met a pedophile, thinking about pedophiles in the abstract, while being influenced by fuckin pedophile-dominated fandoms and having NO IDEA. and of cooooourse i wanted to believe that i was mature for my age, i thought that was a compliment.. But anyway isnt it kinda weird how akur/oku was just.. Not even regarded as pedophilia? And when i was a kid it wasnt just me not understanding the gross parts of the fandom, i legit never thought axel was that much older than roxas. And it was one of the more popular gay ships cos at that point as far as we knew it was the only person axel had any sort of backstory with, and he cared so much about this guy that he was willing to sacrifice his life to help sora even when he knew roxas would never come back. At the time without further context it seemed like a reasonable assumption to make? And it wasnt until Days that i realized axel was intended to be an adult rather than a teenager, and even worse A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO MADE THAT SHIPPING ART KNEW THAT. Uuugh it was so gross in retrospect to go back and see all the clues i missed that these people were fetishizing roxas's inexperience and veey much writing him as underage. AAAAAAA!

Anyway im glad that shit is now recognized as shit and now we have canon evidence of this dude being old as balls. And honestly i love the relationship of him as a big brother/dad to roxas and xion a lot more, even though as a kid i was desperate for any kind of queer representation in kh. Like.. I never really actually liked the ship that much or felt any chemistry? I just latched onto a few bad writing flubs that could potentially be interpreted as Gay Evidence because i was SO damn desperate! Like i felt like i had to support all these gross abusive ships in fandom cos if i wasnt then i was being 'homophobic', i mean they were THE ONLY AVAILABLE OPTIONS, right? :( Its only now ive grown up i can see how wrong that was, and how people just used it as an excuse to make gross shit and get away with it. Like how in Black Butler all these 'yaoi fangirls' kept erasing the rarest of rare things, a canon trans woman, because 'its sexier if its gay'. Ughhhh. And seriously that discourse still exists for poor Grell, and there's still a lot of these shitty bigoted people pretending to be allies, but like seriously this was EVERYWHERE in 2005! And lgbt rights and even lgbt communities at all were way smaller and less available to the poor teenagers who really needed that positive influence while they were figuring out who they are. So man the abusive side of yaoi fandom was WAY more powerful, and wya more.mainstream, with barely any criticism. And the whole content of this fandom was creepy fuckin adults making pedo porn, and kids who just discovered they were queer and tried to headcanon their favourote characters as being like them. Fucking predator heaven! So yeh that ruined KH for me and definately made me scared of returning to Black Butler for almost a decade. And then i found out that the manga itself has none of that pedo shit and that one of the fandom's biggest abusive gay man archetypes was actually a trans woman this entire time, and just gahhhhh....

Also like seriously this is a tad offtopic but can we kill the anime trope of either everyone looking young or everyone looking old? Or creepy things where just one character looks the wrong age in order to fetishize pedophilia? I dont think kingdom hearts was one of those intentional ones, like i mean there's super bad shit where its like 'this 5 year old looking person is really 9000 years old/actually 18 and just hasnt had their growth spurt yet' (somehow its even more insulting when theres not even a magical excuse) Or the other way around and we have a character thats canonically underage but drawn looking sexually mature with big ol knockers so its somehow okay. The existence of those horrible things is why i end up feeling uncomfortable even seeing ambiguous ages as just a trope in completely innocent anime, yknow? Like in pokemon and digimon all the 10 year old protagonists are exactly the same height as all the adults, and all the female love interests for ash have to be early bloomers in terms of chest and hips, while notably Iris is the only one who actually looks her age and also the first non love interest. Its another reason why i prefer the new art style for the latest season, they make everyone look like kids and Lillie continues to look like a kid even though she's the main girl and has all the cute scenes with Ash. The girls even got very normal looking kiddy swimsuits in the beach episode! Why is that so uncommon, to find the bare minimum thing of underage kids not being sexualized at the beach??

Soooooo yeah, thats at least part of why kid me thought axel and roxas were within a similar age range. Like i thought roxas was maybe 16 and axel was 18?? Somehow?? I dont even know, kingdom hearts isnt even SUPER bad with the 'kids look like older teens,all adults look like age 20 at the most' anime syndrome. Its probably more because id been raised on games and anime that followed that trope, before i played kh. And as a kid you just dont really know the exact differences between 'old', like i mean i knew teenagers were tall and boys get a growth spurt, so somehow it made sense to me that axel could be the same age as roxas?? And man even if i knew he wasnt, i was barely educated at all about pedophilia and i didnt know the nuances of it. I just knew 'its bad for adults to marry kids' like man i was really behind the curve in general learning due to my undiagnosed autism and abusive parenting so like HERE'S 12 YEAR OLD ME NOT EVEN THINKING ABOUT THE SEX ASPECT. And i didnt know that adults in relationships with teenagers was bad too, or like 16/17 year old teens dating kids... I was so fuckin dumb... I really cant believe that not only did i believe stupid adults saying 'pedophilia isnt bad if you're non offending, its okay to make cartoon child porn as long as you dont physically abuse real kids' but also i somehow just DID NOT EVER REALIZE that axel was an adult and roxas wasnt even a goddamn older teen...

So yeh im making a lot of excuses for why my stupid younger self was blindly parroting bullshit, but im not trying to excuse how goddamn wrong and bad it was. I still wake up ashamed in the middle of the night for crapoy decisions i made as a dumb kid, and in terrified that some shreds of it might still exist out there on the internet and maybe someone else could read it?! Gahhhh! Seriously could i have accidentally helped spread that bullshit brainwashing to other kids? And seriously when people say this shit is harmless they just need to look at this, look at how being into problematic yaoi is such a common 'phase' for ACTUAL CHILDREN. This also applies a lot to the rest of LGBT+ aside from just gay shipping, like seriously it took me til age 18 to find any positive representation of trans people or even a proper explanation of what being trans is, yet before i was even 8 years old i'd seen a million 'lol gross man in a dress who gets sexual gratification from wearing women's underwear' jokes in kids shows. And when i was 12 i'd already been exposed to the fuckin hell of m/pre/g thanks to its prevelance of untagged n/sf/w shit in the kh fandom. And by age 15 i'd been exposed to pedophile apologists arguing whether child porn was okay if they only got off to that and didnt personally abuse that kid with their own hands. All of that shit but actually learning about homosexuality and gender in sex ed would have been 'too much' for someone my age...

God what a fuckin mess. Fuck im really really fuckin worried that any of my ignorant comments at those ages could have been read by other ignorant kids and contributed to that disgusting fandom atmosphere.
