I think it's an interesting concept I like the fearplay into it. You'll never catch me drawing it though but mouthplay, yeah I definitely will draw that. My overall thoughts on it, I like it but I have my limits.

“is it scary? i don't wanna play if it's scary.” you pout as rafe places the controller into your hand.

“ill protect you, promise.” rafe says, reaching over to flick the lamp on the side table on, that way more than just the light from the tv is illuminating the room.

“fine, but you can't get mad at me if i get your character killed.” you watch as rafe navigates the game easily, opening it up to the character customization screen, just doing default settings for himself.

“oh my god, im gonna make my girl look so cute!” you gush, taking your time to carefully choose her hair and outfit, even though none of the options are stylish, you create the best look you can out of the post apocalyptic clothing choices.

rafe doesn't care that he has to sit and wait for you to perfect your character, not when he finally got you to agree to play with him.

“okay, done.” you nod as you choose a pair of pink sneakers, practical but still cute. “so what's this game all about? just running from zombies?”

“basically.” rafe says with a light chuckle. “we gotta get to the safe house for this round. just follow me, gonna pick up some weapons.”

you pick up the hang of the controls easily, concentrating on the tv as rafe drops a knife and gun for character to use to protect yourself just in case.

“this isn't so bad.” you hum, pausing to admire the scenery in the background of the game, mountain peaks poking up into the sky. “where are all the zombies?”

“they give you a few minutes to get weapons before the storms start.” rafe says, eyes scanning the screen as you head into a building, rafe knows there's med packs in there that he will need when he sustains damage keeping your character safe.

“storms? that sounds scary rafe.” you scooch so you’re closer to your boyfriend. “and it's getting dark.”

it's already dark outside your actual window, but you can tell that it's getting darker in the game as well, the sun setting as you follow rafe down the desolate street, crashed cars and trash strewn about just like if it was a real apocalypse.

“here they come!” rafe warns, clicking the buttons quickly as his character shoots at the zombies moving slowly towards you. your eyes widen upon seeing the gore, cringing and turning to hide your face in rafes shoulder once your character is hidden behind a stopped car.

“i don't like this rafey!” you whine once the gunfire stops, peeking up to see a literal pile of dead zombies. “it's scary.”

“i know, but i kept you safe, didn't i? we are almost done with the first level, just gotta get to the safe house then we can take a break, okay?” rafe offers, keeping his eyes on the screen but turning his head to press a kiss to your cheek.

“fine.” you groan. you like playing games with rafe, but your preference is him watching you dress your sims or decorate their houses after using a cheat to get them more money, only wanting your sims to have the best furniture.

you navigate your character to follow him down the sidewalk, occasionally stopping to kill the zombies. you even manage to shoot a couple.

“wait, baby, be careful.” rafe warns. “dont go that way.”

but his warning comes too late as a zombie jumps out of a dumpster that you’re standing directly next to, making you scream as it takes up your entire screen, not just attacking your character but also jumpscaring you.

“i got you, hold on.” rafe is pressing the sprint button as hard as he can, as if that can somehow make his character get to you faster. rafe manages to kill the zombie before it has the chance to bite you.

your chest is heaving up and down like you were the one to get attacked. “come on, the safe house is just around the corner.” rafe wraps an arm around your shoulder, using one hand on the controller until you’re both behind the barbed wire fence, the game switching to a cutscene. 

“i hate this.” you look to rafe with a pout on your face. “can we play stardew valley instead? please?”

rafe sighs. he should have known better than having you play with him. you are extremely adverse to any sort of shooting game. “yeah, sure.” rafe saves his progress, just in case he can convince you to play with him again before switching to stardew valley and handing you the main controller.

“yesss, thank you.” you smile, pressing a kiss to rafes cheek as your character wakes up. “you’re the best boyfriend ever.”

“you just say that because you need me to go into the mines for you.” rafe says with a laugh.

“well, its scary!”

ALSO THIS IS MAINLY ME AND A FRIENDS EXPERIENCE. A LOT OF OUR GROUP WERE SENT A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WAY TO BOTH OF US. WE THINK THERES THREE OR FOUR POSSIBLE ROUTES. BUT HERES WHAT I SAW AND HEARD

WE WERE WAITING DOWN THE BACK OF THE MAZE AND A GUARD CAME DOWN A CORRIDOR SHOUTING “YOU LOT WITH ME. NOW!!!!”. FOLLOWED HER AND SHE STARTED SHOUTING FASTER AND INSULTING US. GOT TO THE ENTRANCE AND SHE PUSHED ME TO ANOTHER GUARD WHO THEN PUT ME IN A POD WITH ANOTHER LADY. WHO WAS SUPER NICE AND MORE NERVOUS THAN I WAS. I WASNT REALLY PAYI MY ATTENTION TO THE PRE SHOW AS I WAS COMFORTING THE LADY. TELLING HER WHAT WAS GONNA HAPPEN. BUT THE PRESHOW WAS BASICALLY JUST LIKE THE ANNOUNCEMENT VIDEO. THE DOORS OPENED AND WE JUST WALKED THROUGH NO GRABBING. INTO AN AREA WITH CAGE WALL. HAD A COUPLE OF JUMPSCARES AND SOME SHOULDER TOUCHES. I WAS REALLY ATTENTION. JUST LOOKING AROUND

MET BACK UP WITH MY FRIEND. THE LADY GAVE MY FRIEND HER HAND AS MY FRIEND WAS PETRIFIED. AND WENT AT THE BACK OF OUR GROUP. WE GO INTO A ROOM AND I COULD NOT SEE A THING. AND A PHALANX GUARD COME RUNNING AT US. AND OF COURSE IM AN IDIOT AND SAY “HELLO. LOOK GANG. PHALANX GUARD”

THIS GUARD GRABBED MY WAIST AND WAS SCREAMING “NO YOUR COMING WITH ME. YOUR GOING THIS WAY NOW.” AND STUFF LIKE “I WANT TO BE ABLE TO KILL YOUR PERSONALLY” AND OF CPURSE I STILL THINK IM FUNNY. SO I GO “ OH DEAR. BYE GUYS” AS IM BEJNG DRAGGED AWAY. THE GUARD PUSHED ME INTO A CRAWL SPACE. WHICH WAS PITCH BLACK AND MY LEGS WERE GRABBED IN THERE. AFTER THERE WAS A SMALL ROOM WITH LIKE AN OPERATIVE WITH LIKE HALF HIS FACE IN GORE AND OPEN. WHICH. IM A SFX ARTIST AND A HORROR MOIVE ENJOYER. AND IT MADE MY STOMACH FEEL WEAK. HE WAS SCREAMING LIKE “THIS IS YOUR FAULT. YOU DID THIS TO ME.” AND GOT PRETTY CLOSE

ONCE I GOT OUT I WENT INTO THIS LIKE ACID ROOM. IT HAD LIKE HUGE POOLS OF “ACID” WHERE THERE WAS LIKE A MONSTER OR LIKE A FAILED EXPERIMENT IN THERE WHO GOT IN MY FACE. AND GRABBED THE BACK OF MY JACKET AND YANKED ME BACK TO THEN POINT I ALMOST FELL OVER.

THE NEXR COUPLE ROOMS WERE LIKE COPY PASTE. THEY WERE STROBE ROOMS WITH ROBES AND CAGES. BUT STILL HAD SOME GOOD SCARED AND GRABS.

I HAD TWO END SCENES THOUGH AND SPEAVK TO MY FRIEND. SHE ONLY HAD ONE. I HAD THREE DIFFERENT ACTORS WITH TASERS. ONE WHO GRABBED MY SHOULDER AND GOT REALLY CLOSE TO MY FACE. AND THE OTHER JUST SORT OF WAVED IT AT ME. AND I WALKED OUT.

IT SEEMS OUT OF THR TWO ROUTE I WAS TOLD ABOUT I HAD BEEN GIVEN THE MORE INTENSE ROUTE. I SUGGEST IF YOUR NOT READY AND DONT LIKE SCARE MAZES. KEEP YOU MOUTH SHUT . DONT TRY TALKING TO THE GUARDS

which is a book this guy wrote about like. the oilers year 1 they were in the nhl (right after the merger). he is an important Canadian journalist and followed them around and stuff. it's first edition (from 1980) aswell but that's not the most important thing abt it. the most important thing about this copy is that the author owned it

hibiya and takane at the end of the novels let me talk for a second😐😐😐😐😐😭😭😭😭ok erm novel spoilers duh

takane and hibiya werent at the lab with clearing and the rest bc they couldn't rly help (takane is doing shit as ene but if they took her body itd just be something the dan has to carry and as for hibiya in my sick twisted mind hibiyas thing is not ONLY cuz he cant help bc his powers take too much energy but its also bc the dan is trying to act like responsible older siblings and deciding hibiyas too young to be put in danger...sobsob. like it means a lot that hes the only one to survive aside from seto and mary. it's also funny how seto and mary are having an ugly crying party and hibiyas there like 😐) its a good team cuz ene can report back to the dan everything hibiya is seeing with his powers and hibiya can report to takane too *goes insane* its such a funny duo takane tasked as the worlds awfulest babysitter. you know in cartoons when the babysitter just ignores the kids and talks on the phone. hibiya and takane being teamed up together is literally that. except she goes inside the phone and all their friends are dying but thats a detail.

(also it hurts so much too bc of the whole haruka&konoha thing. the 2 characters most closely related to haruka and konoha being stuck together *my descend into madness is complete*)

i think their chapter together was interesting it made me poke my eyes out bc hibiya has to tell takane shintaro is dead and he's like OUGH...I DONT WANNA BE THE ONE TO TELL HER HER BEST FRIEND IS DEAD.. and then takane has a "weird" reaction, like basically doesnt break into tears or anything. and i know its because she had apparently discussed the possibility with shintaro previously (id kill to have read that convo. normal shintaka convo post reveal *shakes fist*) but the way she kind of tries to comfort hibiya in her own weird way and the whole thing being hibiyas pov its so clear she's trying to keep it together in front of him bc he's just a kid. and not only that but she says he reminds her of SHINTARO so she's like. ough ofc she acts like that. just by how she was as ene to shintaro she is being to hibiya rn to make him feel better. she knows she will die when she says goodbye to him after that as ene. IM GONNA PUKE

(she's... like so mature in her own stupid way. it rly hurts when in the following chapter when she's like on her way to die/just died she thinks abt how helpless she was and how she couldnt do anything even though she had just comforted hibiya and sacrificed herself for seto and marys sake. *bangs head against wall* TAKANEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!)

anyways i had all those thoughts bc i was like so since in novel route takane dies as ene... is her physical body also swallowed by the daze?? or is it just her soul, and when she's in the daze later its a haruka situation and both of them only have their consciousness kinda walking around as opposed to everyone else who is there with physical bodies? if that happened then hibiya would just be left on the roof of a random building with a corpse.

either way F for hibiya bc its either he's alone with a corpse or he gets jumpscared by another dimension opening and eating up the body. i do think her body gets swallowed tho and she just looks like ene in the daze cuz thats what she looks like in her mind (she's only been back in her physical body for like a day before this so lol)

either way. hc time but like. i just imagine hibiya realising takane isnt Really sleeping anymore and she Really wont wake up and Wow she doesnt have a pulse and even if he doesn't know her well, he is a kid and she is the adult that was keeping him company. so he kind of loses his mind. i feel so bad for him, what happened to him after takane leaves him??? bc we dont see him again til the end.

like even if he was technically already alone on the roof cuz takane was away as ene anyway, he knew she'd come back. but now shes NOT WAKING UP. he's looking at all this happen, all the people he's met in the last 2 days are dying one by one, the hope to find hiyori seems more and more ridiculous as the hours go on, konoha has been taken over by something Bad and is doing Bad things to people, he doesnt know if momo will be safe, its the middle of the night and he's in a city he doesnt know and the person, the adult, THE FRIEND supposed to be with him is NOT WAKING UP!!! i just imagine this little guy sobbing on takanes body begging her to wake up because he doesnt know how to get back to the hideout from here!! he doesnt know where he is!!! hey!! wakeup!! dont leave me by myself what am i supposed to do!!! and screaming when the daze swallows the body and hes just left alone for real. lol. anyways hows everyone doing
