Honestly, don't give me nandermo if you don't feel like it (weird, given everything that has happened since season 3, but ok), but the only other possible ending is Nandor learning to be on his own and realizing romantic love won't fix all his problems and... idk, finding his own purpose beyond other people. Like, it'd make sense for him to end up with Guillermo; anyone else would be forced and detrimental for his character arc.

Also having the male character whose relationship with another man has been teased for years ending up with the only single woman in the cast after going "haha, let two guys be friends uwu" in every interview feels homophobic af.

is it just me or is bioware spoiling way too much about the game . talking about gameplay improvements is one thing but revealing story and companion arcs seems very insecure to me bc now the mystery is gone when people play for the first time . seems like they're trying too hard to prove that their game isn't garbage after that first trailer but this is not how you do that

The most beautiful thing in the entire Trolls franchise will always be Branch's character in the first movie when he wanted Poppy to understand that life isn't as perfect as she thinks but when she got betrayed and hurt and lost all hope he did everything to make her happy again because he wanted her to understand the pain but not experience it because she didn't deserve that and he didn't think that others have to suffer because he did.

I just find it interesting cause the way ted lasso (the show) starts off, it makes it clear that, like any other workplace comedy show of its type, ted and rebecca are the main endgame couple

but as the seasons have progressed, they haven't had near as many romcom beats as they should to still be seen as endgame?

yes, they've had moments of closeness and understanding, but they haven't had that undercurrent of something more that should be there

I still think they're endgame, cause that's how these kind of shows always go, but....

i ought to make a list of all the different dialogue changes that happen in last legacy as a result of whether or not the "upright" variable is true or false, comparing the dialogue differences (and being able to see from the code for a fact that it's an upright/reversed thing and not just a change based on some other variable) really gives some interesting insight into how the game might have ended, if it had continued

As a metroid fan, I definitely like Samus.

But somehow, I don't like her. Her characterization is not enough.

Dread Samus must be heavily inspired by the style of Prime series, and I do believe they are how Samus shows her personality throughout the franchise, especially Corruption. Even though Corruption's story is my favorite one, I still see too little about her.

I can understand why people like that for the bounty hunter's coldness that I am a fan of this, too. But sometimes what special a character thought was important. Fusion tried to do this job to fulfill it but not perfect, and even too repeated when she mentioned Adam stuff.

Therefore Samus is totally a saint. She sufferred a great pain of losing parents, reborn with a firm heart with the help of Thoha Chozo. However how she overcame it and managed to become a saint is definitely sketched through, and information of manga doesn't satisfy me.

We only see her fighting monsters, hardly seeing other faces of her, which is why I think her character is somehow too "flat". And as a protagonist, she doesn't have a clear objective. Keeping the galaxy in peace might count one, but I feel it is more a daily subject for her now.

That's why I somehow prefer fan-non Samus in some good AO3 articles(Allow me to pick my favourite two now--Ansegth and Electrochromism）. These Samus are neither saint nor protagonist, while they have a more vivid picture as a person. And their interactions with other characters are interesting and wonderful.

I won't urge Nintendo to make Samus like other game's do and I don't have a hope. But I do really want she could have progress on her personality in Prime 4, at least as good as or better than Corruption.

Back to my own plan, people already did a plenty of jobs for their Samus, so I decided to focus on another character--Dark Samus, who also waste her potential to expand my versions.

So wait are there actually people out there who think Dreamstat is actually Lestat, or are people just complaining about other people voicing concerns about how Dreamstat might be handled/overused to point where it might continously take us out of the moment?

Because yeah no duh we all know this is happening in Louis's head. But there are other ways to handle a haunting that doesn't feel potentially jarring/cheap/an obvious way to give Sam Reid something to do this season. A good show doesn't need to literally always show us what a character's thinking in order to get a grasp on their mental status. A good show will enable us to infer it well enough through subtler means, while also leaving room to look at other things happening in a scene. IWTV has so far handled that aspect well, because despite the constant commentary, there is still a lot more under the surface with these characters.

Also, saying people complaining about Dreamstat are just people with shipping issues just blatantly misses the point.

being half done with s1 of SNW reminded me how the writers didn’t really disappoint me in s1 (there might be episodes I enjoyed less than others, but that’s just my taste and sometimes even how I felt that day, overall the characterization - which is the most important for me - was consistent and the characters all fun), how they more or less even validate my own readings of TOS (especially with like T’Pring, but also other small things)... and how ever since Discovery, I was never ever disappointed with their interpretation of Spock and his interpersonal relationships

which is now unfortunately leading me to have more trust in s2 too

and I really don’t want to be disappointed
