Ok ok i'm a liar oops. Saw the Millie short (I have thoughts) and the season 2 trailer and i had to do my poor sweet underdeveloped bird girls justice.

Octavia is virtually the same personality wise, except she has hobbies that Stolas is completely unaware of but Stella supports fully. Specifically taxidermy, which Stella finds fascinating. I don't vibe with the design after staring at it for a while, but this was just a doodle and potential colors, i'll have to draw Stolas and then figure out her colors.

In demon lore, Andrealphus teaches lots of things, but he is said to teach astronomy, so i decided Stella (as her name would suggest) is very knowledgable on the subject and star gazes. I gave her a galaxy esc dress similar to Stolas's s1 ep7 outfit and changed her colors a bit.

They have a good mother/daughter bond in this because if Viv can't write a good mother figure then I'll do it myself dammit.

Stella is basically now all the fan theories before she was boiled down into a shitty one dimensional abuser to make the uwu gay bird sympathetic with a bit of my input.

She is the younger sister of Andrealphus, who married her to Stolas as a way of moving up in the world - as Stolas is a Prince and Andrealphus is a rank below him as a Marquis. Stella initially was distraught but tried to be good. She tried to find common ground, seeing as both her and Stolas liked stars, but they never clicked fully. When Octavia was born, Stella shifted her attention to her and started being passive aggressive to Stolas, letting her years of anger out on him in little jabs. Things along the line of her throwing a not divorced party but she doesn't loudly insult him in front of her guests.

When Stolas cheats on her with an imp, she's fucking furious. She's given up her entire life to this man, to bring her family name higher and her husband cheats on her with an IMP. The lowest of the lower class, and now her gossipy high society friends she's spent years getting into the good graces of will know. So she's a mix of fucking furious and just a tinge hurt. She's not justified btw, i just want to show her side of things for once because Viv is allergic to developing female characters.

She adores Octavia in my version. Utterly adores her. So of course she takes Octavia and tries to keep her away from Stolas as much as possible. She loves her daughter and wants to raise her better than she was raised.

Clown Month 2023 Day 1 (Clownsona)

I immediately lost all ability to draw well as soon as I tried to draw today, so please take this recycled asset and a few doodles as my first entry. ;;; 

Don’t you just hate when that happens?  You wanna draw so bad, but as soon as you have the time you suddenly lose all your ideas and talent.  :’( 

But I’ve had this Clownsona for a while now, so if you wanna learn more I have info about how I went creating her under the cut.  UwU.  :3c

Clownsona Fun Facts! 

1. Her name is Comedi-anne, because I love a good pun. 

2. I based her off the Pierrot!  The Pierrot is a sad clown archetype with its roots dating all the way back to the Commedia Del’arte!  Traditionally, it’s an all black and white clown with oversized clothes and a conical hat.  But I added a few more colors, because I thought all black and white would be boring.  At the same time, if I tried to do a more vibrant white-face clown I know I would’ve gone overboard and had no color cohesion throughout the piece.  I tried to limit myself a little with just primary color accents.  :3c  

3. Although Pierrot was her base, I did do a little pattern mixing with the diamonds and stripes.  The diamonds were inspired by the classic Harlequin look and the stripes were inspired from the pattern mixing traditionally found in the Auguste!  

4. I added the star motif before I learned that Pierrots became to be associated with the moon (cuz melancholy and emotions and whatnot).  But I like it too much to change it.  

5. The stitched heart was a hold-over from a previous persona I had.  Something pretentious I came up with about how I use art to work through wounds that never full healed or something.  Lol 

6. Originally, she wore a mask (hence the no mouth.)  Which is odd, because unlike most other Commedia Del’arte characters, the Pierrot didn’t use a mask, just whitening his face with make-up.  But I also had this pretentious idea about how art should “speak for itself,” so I made her silent.  But now I think it’s not a mask and her jaw just unhinges to show a goopy blackness like the Slenderman.  :3c  

7. July is my birthday month, so I think it’s really cool that I’m getting into clowns just in time for Clown Month.  It feels like a well-timed birthday present from God.  UwU

GOD YES OF COURSE I WOULD LOVE TO ELABORATE ON IT!!! i know you said that you would accept literally anything, haha! so please have this concept sketch i was playing with! i also have some design notes below!! :D

scruffy man (gn). but it isn't terrible at hygiene or anything like that! zeph and mount help it maintain its appearance because it adores looking spooky!

its eyelashes are longer on the bottom than they are on the top.

hair is very wavy, dark, dark auburn! longer than most earth ghoul's but not longer than mountain's zeph's! its hair reaches about the shoulder blades :0 and the side is shaved :>

canine teeth are longer and stronger along the bottom jaw. upper teeth have gaps to accommodate for size.

cowbell is absolutely unapologetic about their more monstrous vessel! both it and zeph are more monstrous in appearance than mount, and they are both absolutely unapologetic :D they're both very proud of who they are!

doesn't have very many facial piercings?? its skin is surprisingly sensitive and all the scarring doesn't really help! regardless though, it makes up for it by decorating the fuck out of its ears and antlers! :D

speaking of, the only reason it has a nose ring is because it wanted to match with zeph and mountain :> it calls them their 'wedding rings' <3

beard is very patchy, and not a day goes by where it isn't jealous of mountain >:(

it jokingly wears cow tags in both its ears. it has a collection of them uwu

nose and face were broken + scarred after it was summoned by alpha. part of the reasons why he was exorcised.

a medium build! it's not as jacked as mountain, but not as scrawny as zephyr!

oh, oh! the vitiligo! :0 cowbell has a very extreme case of vitiligo! :0 it makes its natural skin color look like cow splotches :>

cowbell has mostly dark auburn hair! but thanks to the splotches of vitiligo, it has some grey/white mixed in! :D mostly noticeable in its eyelashes and beard! :D

thanks to its scar, it gave up on trying to properly trying to grow out its mustache on one side of its face!

its antler are very thin, but still so strong!! they're super tall too!! :0

cowbell loves decorating its antlers with golden rings and chains :> mostly jewelry that zephyr has gifted it!

Here it is finally little Jyuto owo I had lots of work this week, srry for the wait >< Do you like Jyuto? I like Jyuto a lot uwu he is one of my favs hehe Talking about aesthetics, he is very aesthetic, also kinda femenine, which I like a lot. The only thing that I dont like is that his color palette is all over the place, red and grays go well, but then he has this killing magenta eyes that are so out of place xD plus his glasses look kinda tinted in lilac too, all of that mixed with his nuclear green eyes haha This is my second time doing him so I toned those things I didnt like and now I think he looks much more passable haha Didnt want to omit this things as I admire a lot Kazui sensei designs x'd

Talking about the sims indeed, I changed of face mask cause Jyuto is more fem, and also updated the recolor of the clothes a little, last time I couldnt figure how to do the chain but now yes owo Also i used this hair before lol

About me hmmm I’m always running around doing something whether it’s working or finding another hobby (that i have way too many of) I’m really relaxed (despite the chaotic schedule) and easy going and I love to take care of people!

Hobbies-wise I like to travel the most but baking and gardening are close seconds! Special interests are animals probably? I know a ton about them and tons of fun facts. Also I could talk about baking, eating, food for days and days.

I have a cat that is so clingy I could throw him and he’d shoot back like a boomerang lol. My style is girly and colorful i guess? and anything sparkly is good! a wonderful mix of cute but comfortable so there’s gotta be pockets on everything. I love a good overall too but…😩 im getting off track

I actually love period pieces like bridgerton or the gilded age and old black and white movies are so fun! I love fantasy too especially in books (i read TONS) and theres a movie called stardust that’s also a book? One of my all time favs. But old 80’s movies with the special effects are also delightful for me (and another special interest i forgot.)

important stuff ahh I’m affectionate with the people i love but when people show it back i get all flustered about it I’m like what do mean you love me 🫣 how bold despite clinging to them and gushing praises at them on the regular. I do end up blushing a lot even just when I get excited talking about what I like and I don’t come up for air while chatting a mile a minute. I love spending time with the people I care about to the point where I’ll drag them everywhere with me if im able to. I also tend to worry about them quite a lot even when there’s really nothing to worry about. I’m a little airheaded and daydream-y when I’m not busy doing something. The gardening hobby definitely caught my attention, but there are other reasons! Umemiya strikes me as the type of guy who takes care of everyone first before even thinking about himself, so having someone who cares for others means he has someone who will care for him! Making sure he rests, making sure he takes his glasses off before he sleeps, helping him in the garden, helping him style his hair, etc. All the little things you do to help him has his heart fluttering!

He loves hearing you talk about animals, even listens about different birds in the area and what their diets are, researches different veggies and seeds to add to the garden to try and get more birds visiting so you can see them!

Plus someone who loves cooking? He sends you home with fresh veggies almost weekly! You're saving money whenever you go grocery shopping, and if you bring him bentos with that food he eats it all! He brags about it to everyone too!

He would love your cat, but he would also have silent stare-downs with said cat for your affection. He goes to lay his head in your lap, but your cat's already there. Now they're silently staring at each other, neither blinking. You have to adjust both of these big babies to cuddle both of them.

I also can see you getting him to watch Bridgeton with you, and he is SO enthralled! You have nights where you eat snacks and binge episodes, he plays the soundtrack when on the roof tending to the garden. You created a monster, that's what you've done!

Ume also would love someone as clingy as he is, and even more so if he can fluster you while the affection happens! He gives me cute aggression energy, so if you're blushing whenever he proclaims he loves you or you two share a kiss, expect to have your cheeks squished between his hands.

Anyways I got a new idea to add to the voidie lore I know it not something I should put in with voidies asit kinda of a sub species but I wanna put it in with voidies world :3 so I'm just going to ramble about it and ask if you think it a good idea or not ^w^ (delete if you think it too long qwq)

Introducing half voids or mixed voids :DDDDD (still working on it give name suggestions please qwq)

These bad boys are alot like voidies/voids but different in one way and that is there much more earth like to put it short but long story it looks at paper

Means that they are/were human or an animal at one point but was transformed into a voidie though not fully it could happen due to many reasons but one of the many reason is due to the cuteness of how animals are

Mixed voidies do still act like their past life self but fully voidies act fully like how their past versions did

Mixed voidie look different from one another and don't look like voidies and mostly just has treats from them but they are still loved and valued none the less by their community's and friends

Mixed voidies normally are animals and some will have pure black eyes or pure white eyes sometimes their just pure darkness with pure white eyes but some look like furrys some are scary than others and some are very cute

Past human mixed voidie normally don't gain both hair goop and face/hand/arms they only can get one if their half though it commonly seen to be the body voidie than hair for most half voidie doesn't mean it rare

Half voidie normally get transformed young and very small as it easier to card for and is less likely to fully transform or go ooof

Mixed voidies normally are made and not born due it could happen if a voidie some how decides to live with a human or adopts an animal though they normally kidnap or save the animals/humans they turn into half voidies

Half voidie do age in a way but normally stop fiscally aging after a while mostly once around when their species would die or starts to age on the inside/decomposing and unlike voidies they can't change how they look so their voidie family normally makes disguises for them using a mask(like one of full face mask) that once put on turns the wearer into the disguise that was entwined into the mask normally only able to be made by using voidie ink

Voidies live within groups and family units like human though their like herd of animals and human units mixed together as they stick close but also will adopt those that are abandoned even if the thing isn't a voidie

Voidies are very welcoming and love half voidies alot as they find them cute

Half voidies can have all different colors and sizes and can come in pastels though their normally the color of what their past versions look like(this is mostly for half voidies that are half human half voidie but also works for half human half voidies that have more human like hair)

Some have voidies can have alot of traits of voidies sometimes looking like a full voidie or only having few too only small traits of voidies

Paintbrush, Plasglue, and Holy Clippers: Skeletons Part 1

I have painted the Unquiet and Restless Dead >:3

My initial plan after The Goons was to start painting Orcs and Goblins to continue the skintone practice into greens and blues, but 1)I didn't have enough minis to really do that justice and 2)I saw some Really Cool Skeletons sculpts while out gathering goblinoids and I just had to try those first uwu uwu Here they are in their Baxes

And Here they are finished(and under the same image-editing I used for the last post; looking at these on my pc there's some definite distortion -I'm thinking maybe the Sharpen or HD function?- so I'll try to figure out better settings in future, or just a better lighting setup >:T)

I, again, didn't have the time to do this in one sitting; it took me from the 5th of October to the 16th.

My first idea was to batchpaint these, but 1)I hadn't used any of these bone colors before so didn't really have a preference and 2)6 is way too few for that. So my second idea was to do a color-test: paint each of the three sets in a different base, use one shade on half of them and another shade on the other half, and then see which ones I liked. But again: six isn't really enough for that either |:T |:T So so, in the end I just decided to go Hog Wild: The two WizKid "Deep Cut" minis I painted in a Vallejo mixture I cooked up, and the rest I based each in their own color. I actl HAVE good notes and process pics to share on this one, so I'll break this up into probably 2 posts. In this one I'll cover what I'm calling "The Wight", who really just needs to get some sleep c'mon guys!, and its Inevitable Odd-Couple Platonic Unlife Partner, The Champ(sword and shield).

Here's my Tired, Tired Corpse

My vallejo bone-recipe: 3parts Yellow Ochre(mustard yellow), 2parts Dark Sand(a dark beige/ivory), and 1part Off-White(honestly really close to the housepaint of the same name). I, sadly, didn't have an ivory at the time X| X| X| The "part" here is just 1 brush's-worth of each paint; each drop from the bottle is WAY MORE PAINT than you'd need for just two models. Vallejo's Off-White was WAAAAY Stronger than the other two colors so fyi

I really want to try out Vallejo's Ivory(which I, in the Future, have Now >:> >:>), but I REALLY liked the result of this mix; it's a nice, yellowed old-bone look. I shaded Wight in Earthshade and Champ in Sepia(both citadel shades)

Again: I really love both of these -___- the sepia on this base gives good shadows and a "clean" bone look, like THIS is a skeleton that CARES about its Appearance(which I also feel fits the vaguely charismatic, 'Party Time!' pose it's in XD); while the Earthshade gives strong, deep shadows and really Grunges up this skeleton that has Given Up on undeath, Quite Honestly, and just really wants to lie in its tombdust and Rot in PEACE why do you Adventurers keep COMING HERE?!?!

Weapons Next. I wanted Wight's sword to have a ice-enchanted look to it, so I figured I'd try out some dark blues I had: Beowulf and Cloudburst from Army Painter, and Dark Prussian Blue from Vallejo

I did a few swatches of them on the tissue I use to clean my brushes; Beowulf was too bright, DPB too dark, and I liked the look of Cloudburst(tho: thinking about it now, I prob could've done a Really Cool gradient of Cloudburst from the hilt to Beowulf at the tip. Something to try in future ^v^ ^v^). I followed that up by lighenting DPB with the LEETLEST BEET of offwhite, and picking out some edges and nicks in the sword with it. Here's how that looked.

Champ's sword I painted in Vallejo Black-Green, and then Stippled using a long-bristled drybrush with citadel Gauss Blaster to look like an old, corroded Bronze sword(which: I dont think pre-industrial tech could actl MAKE bronze swords that long without also making them super wide and heavy[I mean: idk if INDUSTRIAL tech can], but this is a fantasy world, they have magic, It's Fine), and I quartered its shield in Red and Yellow ala the stereotypical Saxon/English pattern, painted the outer ring and boss with Vallejo black, the interior with APSP Dark Wood, its straps(and its sword's hilt) with APSP Ruddy Fur, and then used val black and a detail brush to sketch the joins

They came out a bit thick and sloppy unfortunately, but I think it's Fine u_u u_u u_u

Next I did the Wight's rotting flesh and hair. First I tried a mix of Vallejo "Basic Skin"(Yikes :|) and Dark Sand, washed in citadel's Soulblight Grey shade, which created a Gr8 old, bloodless, dead flesh basecolor. Then, to give it that Fetid rotting look, I went over THAT with a dark green shade, Citadel Poxwalker, which TOTALLY killed the effect; it applied too evenly and was just too intense(and blue) a green for the look I was... looking for X| X| So: I went to the hobbystore to look for alternatives, found an AP speedpaint called "Rigor Mortis" which sounded promising, picked up another green citadel shade called "Kroak Green" which was yellower and paler than poxwalker, covered with Rigor Mortis(gr8 dead flesh color), washed in Kroak, and it looked AWESOME. For good measure I went back with Poxwalker and a detail brush to darken the most recessed places and really liked how it turned out. Wight's hair I painted in Val Green-Black mixed with black to darken(I think it was 2-to-1 but I didnt write ti down X| X| X|), washed in Soulblight to give it that faded dead-hair look, which looked stupendous, then applied Poxwalker which, oddly enough, worked JUST fine with the hair.

All that was left at this point was to do the metallics and the bases. I used that Tabletop Minion's technique for old or corroded metals again, drybrushing Army Painter's Evil Chrome(NOT a speedpaint) on Champ's sword, and APSP Broadsword Silver on its shield-ring and boss, and APSP Enchanted Steel(a sort of blue-green-silver?) over Wight's sword. Both worked well but I was REALLY blown away by the subtle sparkle in Wight's sword

I think these photos capture the sheen on Wight's sword pretty well, but one of the edits I did smoothed out Champ's sword-closeup WAY too much to get a good idea of the bronze >:T >:T >:T

As to the bases, I did a three-tone gray stone using citadel opaque paints: Mechanicus for the basecolor, a dry brush of Dawnstone on top of that, then a lighter drybrush of Celestra on top of THAT. I shaded it with Nuln Oil(citadel black shade), touched up the Celestra dry brush, and then varnished!

Right now, the goal is to start getting together materials to sell stuff! I have quite a passion for little tchotchkes, so it's been really fun doing some designing for that on the back end. Right now I've got some keychain charm, sticker, and pin ideas in the works! I've still got to work out a selling platform (trying to steer clear of etsy cause I've heard some sellers are having trouble there) but I don't want to pay for something like shopify/etc since I'm very new. It'll prob be either ebay or etsy to start with haha. I do have a redbubble I have designs on (chickenkaiju) but it won't accept my phone number confirmation so I don't think I can actually sell anything :x

but yeah! I'm really just trying to grow my platform cause the number 1 goal of mine as an artist is to just be an artist. If I can get by on my work I'll be totally happy!

I'd say it's a mix of stomach and side. I usually sleep on my stomach but there have been many moments where i turn over and sleep on my side. There have been only a few rare moments in my life where I've slept on my back and that has been when im either SUUUPPPEEERRRRR tired or hella sick

It used to be purple but now it's multiple shades of blue and pastel/baby pink. I love pastels so much and even pastel yellow is making it into my favorite colors recently, but I really enjoy a nice blue and a nice pink.

A lot of people might consider cartoons as childish, but I genuinely love a good animated series (I personally preffer the classically animated shows, but I know that 2d puppets and 3d animation can be much cheaper and faster), and I even tried to major in Animation before I went into a full mental breakdown.

I love plushies, I love cute clothings, and it genuinely annoys me and saddens me that a lot of 'cute' and 'kawaii' clothing is turned sexy by certain retail shops and websites. I don't want uwu shy girl underwear goddamn it! I want a fuzzy hoodie that will make me look like a real life teddy bear!!!!

I don't like being considered childish, and I also heavily dislike being around and having to deal with childish people. I had to grow up pretty fast cause my father, my primary caretaker, did not enjoy my presence as a child because I was 'too noisy' and 'wouldnt stay still' even though I was literally 5-6 years old. I needed to stop being a child around him if I wanted his care and attention, and so I did to the best of my abilities. So now I'm trying to heal my inner child, even though I feel like she suddently disappeared, and getting plushies and cute decorations for my environment help me fulfil that goal somewhat.

Ok so it took me some time to look up a bunch of flower meanings so I can mix and match them lol. I'm not that good with flowers so idk if all of these meanings will work. I also accidentally turned it into more of a "what bouquet represents them" as opposed to "what do I wanna tell them personally" 😭. Ig it's just time to be mean to some of my ocs lol. But this is what I got

Dan is getting a boquet of peonies and white roses. These represent his want to start over with new beginnings while trying to hide his shame by being optimistic and compassionate. He feels like he could do better with himself so he's embarrassed to admit why he wants to change so much 😔

Randy gets a nice one lol. His is filled with orange roses and heliconias to show his immense passion for the things that he likes (human flesh). He's a very happy guy. He's filled with a lot of energy and desire to eat.

Davis is just getting a bunch of snapdragons because he's an asshole pejjfkksv. I also couldn't find any other flowers that fit him 😭. It represents his strength and underlying deception. If I did wanna send him a message, maybe I could add some black roses to it to be like "you're an asshole and you're gonna die because of it 😤" lejgklakv

Ronny's bouquet is filled with red roses, anemones, and proteas. Yes I am bullying him pejguisov.He longs for a change and to transform himself into the best version of himself that will make himself happy, even if it comes with the cost of scaring everyone else away. The anemones also represent his clashing thoughts, losing hope in humanity while at the same time anticipating that maybe someone will prove him wrong.

Cyrus is getting a single daffodil. I am bullying him too lpsofiks. This is supposed to represent the tragedy of his life by isolating himself from the rest of the world in attempt to protect others as an act of chivalry. But also he doesn't realize that he's only hurting his mental health by doing so 😭

Elowyn gets a nice bouquet lol. She doesn't deserve it but laosjclsivks. She gets orchids and purple irises. These show off everything that she stands for and strives to be. She wants to represent the body of femininity, elegance, etc, all while imparting her wisdom and findings to the rest of the world.

At first I didn't like how he was turning... like, he looked kinda ugly xd, so after several hours of observation I realized that I was using the wrong mesh for the top lol:

Not that the old mesh is bad, is a good mesh! But it wasn't what I needed for Sabu, as his shape is more of a cilinder. I gave up on the white t-shirt, and obviously worked more the texture (i was so lazy a year ago xd) cause he is not wearing a denim jacket, but a gakuran (this is my guess, seeing how the pants and jacket are the same color, and the pants are not like jeans, it totally looks like a uniform, if the hoodie wasnt there maybe we could solve this mystery by looking at the collar of the jacket owo)

I also updated his face but I don't have any screenshots of the before xd

I couldnt find a red cord or whatever he is using in his hips xd also I used this choker as it was the only double choker that I found that didnt look sexual >< he is a minor so yeah, I dont want to put that kind of things on him. In the rank of hypmic charas, he is quite up in my top, I love how sassy and arrogant he can be sometimes lol I think I like his style too more now, but I need for my life validate if he is wearing a gakuran or not xD I am team uniform so yeah jaja
