Another thing that’s happening is I applied way too much perfume because I thought this stuff had a weak smell, but actually I was just dealing with post-menstrual sensory issues and now I smell like a duty free exploded on me

#please tell me post- and mid-menstrual sensory issues aren’t just a thing for me personally and specifically #i actually try not to try anything new (food or scent wise) between days 3-8 of my cycle because my opinions can’t be trusted #food tastes off to me even if it’s not & my sense of smell vacates the fucking premises #hence why i showered myself in perfume earlier #i smell like a ridiculous person. i smell like someone who doesn’t care about asthma sufferers #(i care so so much about asthma sufferers. my mom is one and my best friend is one and i as a child was one)#i didn’t realise how obnoxious it was until i walked into the dry cleaner’s for my job interview and finally smelled something #other than fruity-god-knows-what #(my new potential workplace smells awesome. i fucking love the smell of laundry. oh i meant to say!! i got a trial shift)#anyway btw the perfume is versace bright crystal if anyone was wondering. if that gives you a better olfactory picture of the situation #i got it in a sort of scent sample subscription thing; i’m not some sort of child emperor #anyway i like it but i also think there’s something a bit generic about it. but also not #it smells like fruity-god-knows-what more than anything else. that’s my verdict #follow for more uhhhhhhh. i don’t know #personal
