i need a sewing machine i have such a good idea for an alteration but it will take for fucking ever if i hand stitch the entire thing
#its this old satin column off the shoulder dress#which is incredibly unflattering to me. i am already rectangular with broad shoulders#but its got enough fabric to turn it into an empire waist midi dress#the print is soo cool as well#its this giant flame lady#i'd have to handstitch all the way around the neckline and bodice... and gather the sides... soooo much work#AUGH so many potential projects#i cant believe we didnt bring the fucking sewing machine over but we did bring a vacuum that broke in the first month
