ive come to the conclusion that either my parents r entirely too eager to get rid of perfectly good potatoes or i just have a much lower standard for what perfectly good potatoes are because i keep ending up with bags of potatoes that i rescue from getting put in the compost pile
#like idk if they arent moldy or rotting i think theyre fine#i can be rlly nitpicky sensorywise with many vegetables but not rlly potatoes#we had a 40lb box of sweet potatoes and the ones that were left kept well for like a year#i think those were more farm fresh than grocery store ones tho cause those have usually already been stored a while#but yeah slightly soft/wrinkly and sprouting is fine with me for potatoes#theyre gettin cooked anyways
