I just finished the last 2 episodes of Shokei Shoujo no Virgin Road the other day, and holy shit I'm mad at how good that show was.
#shokei shoujo no virgin road#the executioner and her way of life#inb4 'isnt it cheap that--' excuse me honored guest in my friendzone™ registered playplace#i came up in the mid aughts anime boom‚ an 'our story continues in the source material' is a BOON#show delivered two well paced story arcs with twists that we could see coming AND ones that we couldn't but fit the story's mythos#like in a detective story some people should be able to guess who how and why before the denouement#but there should still be some life in how the denouement shakes out!#thats probably why i like it; its paced like a detective atoryy
