He licked Pete's index finger clean in a hurry, before the drop of vanilla could go lower, and that was when he realized the change. He felt Pete suck in a shallow breath before he heard it. He lifted his gaze to see Pete's eyes focused on him, his lips parted, his pupils dilated. He was too easy to read sometimes. Vegas couldn't help but smirk as he continued; he moved on to Pete's middle finger, then his ring finger, then his pinky, slowly, interchanging between using his lips and his tongue, savoring the taste of sugar and Pete's skin, staring at Pete's expression crumbling under his desire the whole time. The desire for more. Vegas would never deny him. With his right hand being free, he swiftly grabbed Pete's dick under his swimsuit, bathing in the delight of finding him half-hard already. "Vegas..." "The sun is almost down. We won't be seen." It wasn't a certainty and both of them knew it, but Vegas didn't really care. All that was important right now was giving Pete what he craved. For now, he was content kissing Pete breathless as he dropped the rest of the ice cream and became very eager to return the favor.

Maud: does she have a knack or some sort of power, how and when does she use it, what is her dynamic with Squall based on, and why is he so scared of her?

One of the people on chilled's team is one of the top mc event players (places an average of 1st in a very similar event) and a lot of people are ranking the team higher bc of him (he is also new to this event though so people are not placing the team as high as they would otherwise)

Right and I get that. And granted idk how good Oli and Kara typically do, or how much one players point count can affect the entire team's placement.

But I mean. This is Chilledchaos we're talking about. Team TIES consists of people who play minecraft for a living.

I don't know if you've heard, but Chilled said yes to participating in this event despite not even knowing what type of competition it is. He has absolutely no clue what happens in MCC. I watched this man ask chat what the second C stood for. I watched him look at his calendar live on stream and put his hands on his head in distress as he goes "It's in eight days?!"

So yeah y'know I wonder if it can really make enough of a difference that they breach last place. Red can do okay point wise but it means nothing if the other teams do even slightly better cuz all 4 of them know how to play the game.

tell me of a recent moment when you forgot that you wrote something and you read it again and it's actually so good. Like, wow, that person who wrote this is a good writer. :3

sdfkls you're going to make me embarrass myself, huh? well I have been not feeling well and then started feeling better and then immediately fell ill and i'm still a little whacked on cold meds and have not been productive for the past few weeks, all this to say:

recently I self-indulgently read back through all that i've written for my longfic, picking out parts that I liked that showcased goro & valentine's relationship and found that there was so much I'd written that I really enjoyed! so it's really not a specific thing so much as I'm like wow this is great there's a whole backlog of this stuff that is weirdly 100% my taste and how I'd write it if I could (and I did :3).

to be a little more specific, I'm really happy with the tone of my writing- you know I love to have a happy moment and then get a little hit of that sweet sweet grief, or vice versa a really tense, unhappy moment interrupted with a little joke. it's my weakness! and as I was reading I'm just always tickled and make myself laugh, which feels like a good writing standard, to continue to laugh at my old jokes lol.

anyway and self-indulgently again this bit I wrote at the end of a couple of emotional confessions always makes me laugh the hardest so I will include it here for posterity:

“Then you know it would be selfish for me to ask for more.” V managed to keep her voice steady in reply. “I think it would be selfish for me to try to change your mind.” For a moment they were both perfectly still, the hum of the radiator and the constant drone of the wind filling the void. V wanted to tear off his jacket, wanted to get her hands on his skin, feel what made him tick. Every moment she didn’t felt like dying. Still she waited, until on some silent cue they both fell into it, driven by the same sense of hunger and desperation. Goro’s mouth was on her neck, her hand running up the outside of his thigh. V dragged him down on top of her by the hips, caught up in his kiss as he settled his weight down on one elbow. She had just managed to work her hand in between his coat and his shirt when a loud thump sent him straight up to his feet like a startled cat.

i've been thinking of switching from 'any pronouns' to more specifically they/he, and in rotating the logistics about it in my mind, i realized i don't really hear a lot of people elaborate their preference with this, so now i'm curious:

note: in case it's confusing the way i worded it, i'm using the phrase 'pronoun set' as like, for example, the 'he/him/his' pronoun set that's specifically within the grouping of 'they/he', etc etc
