just had an idea for an insanely fucked up au
#hear me out hear me out#the great thing about media that's been rebooted a few times is that there's sooo much potential for time fuckery#and for the characters of the most recent reboot to somehow meet their earlier counterparts.#and idk considering that john is literally the only person who survived the first modern warfare campaigns#makes the idea of the reboot characters going back and interacting with the og guys ... very spicy indeed ..#i dont have Any thoughts for specific interactions but its the Vibe thereof ...#idk just thinking about reboot!soap and og!john interacting ... because og!soap died in john's arms and now here's a carbon copy of him ..#i also think reboot!ghost and og!ghost <3 they could have some very nuanced conversations methinks#both of them have ''died'' one of them will literally die the other one is fighting to keep that from happening#etc etc#also og!john meeting reboot!john and like. here's a guy who Hasn't lost his entire fucking team.#they have the same face but one of them has lost everything and the other hasn't even considered that he Could.#and ough. idk. full of thoughts#winter speaks#call of duty modern warfare#back on my au bullshit (i never left)
