i would like to. write an essay of sorts about how people in fandom tend to treat fictional characters of the work with more humanity than they treat the other members of the fandom. callout posts are ofc a big factor of this but generally i want to analyze the patterns that come out of extreme death of the author, harassment towards specific groups or a specific person, and ofc parasocial behavior towards both big fandom names and small fandom strangers. and the way it all shapes the state of a fandom
