#im a bit dismayed at the fact that im at ep 26 and im not even HALF-WAY THROUGH#capping series at 40 episodes was a good choice actually#i AM going to finish it and i am having an excellent time overall#it's very informative too but#augh im not built for series of that length#this makes me too daunted to watch joy of life again despite knowing it has murder-mysteries#i am very very sorry to mnh but so far i think without introducing her love story with mei changsu#we would not have lost much on plot value or emotional value#...#and would have gained maybe just enough to cut down 80 minutes#i also god damn well hope the southern chu storyline pays off#because this is also screen time that could be cut after the birthday party otherwise#the southern chu princess is infuriating
