@elthadriel asked me to collaborate on a fic for @subcodyweek! Pros: getting to make art for a story I love. Cons: in the brainstorming process I made it uhhhh bleaker than was originally intended. (Nobody's surprised).
here's a preview of the nsfw art, check out the full version and read the story here.

Fanfic questions. I got a bunch for you: 51, 50, 47, 45, 42, 40, 39, 34, 32, 27, 26, 23, 9, 8, 3, 1
Thanks so much for the ask @noisypaintersong! I’m sorry it took me forever to get to these! I really love doing these things though, and you’re the only one who asks me stuff *pouts*, so thank you for enabling me!
1. What was the first fandom you got involved in?
My very firstfandom was The Hardy Boys back when I was 12 or 13. I read a couple of HardyBoys books in my native language when I was on a trip with my parents and lovedthe characters so much that I was immediately hooked (incidentally, this isalso when I discovered my love for h/c). Unfortunately, there were only twelveHardy Boys books published and I thought that was that. Until the internethappened (which was around the same time) and I discovered there were SO MANYMORE Hardy Boys books out there! I didn’t care they were in English. I bought afew, grabbed a dictionary, and basically taught myself how to read English. TheHardy Boys fandom holds so many good memories for me, I still go back and rereadmy favourite HB fics every once in a while.
3. What is the best fandom you’ve ever been involvedin?
I guess HardyBoys. Such warm and welcoming people, which was exactly what I needed at thetime. Hm…and maybe Stargate Atlantis, because of the plethora of quality Sheppard whumpfics ;)
8. How did you get involved in your latest fandom?
That was actually @velkynkarma ‘s fault :) I knew her from the Young Justice fandom, and then Isaw her start posting Voltron stuff. I knew she has good taste, so I decided tocheck out the show and ended up loving it, though I didn’t get particularlyfannish about it until season 2.
9. What are the best things about your current fandom?
I love that thefandom is just so incredibly active and ALIVE. So much good content and so manypeople with great theories and meta. Also, just the characters and the showitself. Keith has completely stolen my heart.
23. Name a fic you’ve written that you’reespecially fond of & explain why you like it.
I think Devotion is the YJ ficI’m most fond of, probably because it was the easiest fic for me to write todate. I tend to struggle A LOT when writing, which is one of the reasons whyI’m such a slow writer, but for some reason Devotion just seemed to writeitself.
I have to admitthough that I actually really like my most recent Voltron fic In the Hands of Hatred. It’s my first ever (and maybe only) multi-chapter Voltron fic and even though Ireally struggled with it at times, I like how it turned out.
26. How do you come up with your fanfic titles?
Heh. WELL. Havingto come up with fanfic titles is the bane of my existence! I’m only slightlyexaggerating. I’ve tried using song lyrics and quotes from poems, but that’snever worked for me. Usually I end up using a word that I feel captures the themeor tone of the story (you’ll notice that most of my fics have one-word titles). In the Hands of Hatred is anexception, both in that it’s obviously not a one-word title but also in that itcame to me fairly early on in the writing process (although originally it wasIn the Arms of Hatred, until my awesome beta suggested using “hands”instead of “arms”).
27. What do you hate more: Coming up with titles orwriting summaries?
I hate writingsummaries, but I have to say I hate having to come up with a title even more.32. Do you listen to music when you write or doesmusic inspire you? If so, which band or genre of music does it for you?
It depends on themood I’m in and on how focused I am. When I’m focused, I love listening tomusic when I write, particularly these epic, energetic, intense/dramatic songs, like Sia’s The Greatest and Unstoppable, Imagine Dragon’s Demons, Linkin Park’s Numb, etc.
When myconcentration’s flagging though, I have to turn the music off or it’ll become adistraction. Music definitely inspires me though.
34. What’s the word count on your longest fic?
22,917 (In theHands of Hatred).
39. What is your greatest strength as a writer?
Ooooh boy. Uh… Idon’t know if I’m necessarily good at it, but my favourite things to write arecharacter interactions; characters showing how much they care about each other.I mean, I’m definitely not good at writing these big, emotional scenes – I liketo keep things understated and prefer to have characters showing each other howmuch they care, rather than have them declare their undying love for one another.
40. What do you struggle the most with in yourwriting?
Plotty stuff. There’s a reason why my longest fic is only barely 20K. I suck at logicalthinking and making decisions and Ijust tend to handwave a lot.
42. List and link to 5 fanfiction authors who areamazing:
Jeez, only five? :(
Black Friar – she writes the most AMAZING whump fic.Seriously. She has a ton of Young Justice fics up, and has just finishedwriting her first (also amazing) Voltron fic Casting Shadows.
@velkynkarma – she’s written some of my favourite Keith whump fics, like Pillar in the Dark.
Mikimoo – I LOVEher Batfam fics. I tend to skip the shippy stuff, but ooooh boy, does she writegood Dick whump!
APendingThought –she’s written some great Voltron and YJ fics (featuring Keith and Dick whump, respectively ;)).
Yet_intrepid – I knowshe tends to write Shiro-centric fic, but she’s also written some exceptional(and heart-breaking) Keith whump.
45. What is your all time favourite fanfic?
Okay, I’m nevergoing to be able to pick just one fic, so:
Voltron
For now I thinkI’m gonna go with @velkynkarma’s Pillar in the Dark. But I also LOVE chapter 5of Knights of Lion (I’ve reread it several times now).
Young Justice
Black Friar’s OfMonsters and Men. Hands down. Well. And Coming of Rage, also by Black Friar.
Batfam
Mikimoo’s And ifI Recover and This Night.
Hardy Boys
Stormwatcher’s ADangerous Summer. Or rather, her entire Telepathy series. Her website is downat the moment, but I’ll edit in a link later. This is a series that I just keepcoming back to, no matter what fandom I’m in.
47. Archive Of Our Own, Fanfiction.net or Tumblr -where do you prefer to post and why?
I prefer AO3,because I like the tagging system and it’s easy to organize stuff, but I haveto admit that it seems that people on Fanfiction.net are more likely to leavereviews? I dunno, I always seem to get more reviews on my fics on ffnet than onAO3.
As for Tumblr, IHATE posting fic on Tumblr, so I tend to just post a link to AO3.
50. How did you get into reading and/or writingfanfiction?
This is actuallyalso linked to The Hardy Boys! As I said above, I initially only had 12 HBbooks to read, but when I discovered the internet, I also very quicklydiscovered the world of fanfiction. And was hooked straight away.
51. Rant or Gush about one thing you love or hate inthe world of fanfiction! Go!
I love, love, love that hurt/comfort is an actual thing/genre in the world of fanfiction. It’s something you’ll rarely find in mainstream media, which, honestly, is oneof the reasons why I read very few actual books these days.

Holistic Meditation - Art of Freedom
Modern hip-hop with a conscious twist.
Holistic Meditation is an artist with a focus on conscious hip-hop music. The artist recently set out to release a brand new studio effort. In fact, he completed work on a brand new project titled 'Art of Freedom." Keep reading to learn more about this exciting release!
“Art of Freedom” features 20 unique songs, each blurring the lines between different ideas. The opener, “Sunshine,” is a collaboration with Shari De’vvard, and it sets the mood right for the rest of this release. “The Only One” follows right after with some of the most memorable tones. I love the 70s style samples and boom-bap feel! “Bounce” (featuring Antonio Greenwood) is yet another homage to old-school hip-hop, with a sound that makes me think of some of the best Wu-Tang Clan material and East Coast sound in general. “I Ain’t Running” has a more modern vibe, with some massive orchestral tones and a super-punchy drum sound that matches the last pace of the vocals.
“I AM (Master of Reality”) is one of the catchiest tracks. I love the funk-inspired instrumental and how it lifts the mood! “What I’m Doin’” is perhaps my favorite song, I love the combination of double-tracked ad-libs and great melodic swells under the beat. There is also room for two features with Emcee Monkey D. - “Like Me” and “I Don’t” - bringing more variety to this fantastic album yet.
“No Matter What” is also pretty awesome for its atmospheric sound and moody intro. The track has an understated vibe that reminds me of some of my favorite artists, including A Tribe Called Quest and Erik B.
The next tune, midway through the record, is titled “Occupy,” and it features a rock band arrangement that brings so much variety to the record. Imagine Linkin Park suddenly jamming with Wu-Tang!
“Free Your Mind” is another song that blends different genres: this time, there is a bit of folk and acoustic blues, giving a moodier edge to the beat. “Rock With Me” stays true to its title with a fresh sound. This is one of the catchiest tunes on the album, and I love the pop-driven hooks!
A true class act, “My High” is perfect late 90s / early 2000s hip-hop right there. The production makes me think of legends like The Neptunes or Dr. Dre, particularly for the amazing arrangement and the dry, punchy beats.
“I Guess They Heard” has a more lo-fi sound, which brings back the grit of that East Coast / OG tone that I grew up loving. “Never Look” features some cool guitar tones and arrangement, as well as a nice spoken word intro to tie everything the record!
“Amazing” is a guest collaboration with Natalie Grace, and it also brings a touch of the late 90s to the feel, with some great melodies and cool R&B influence. “The Future” is a dope song, which has got some amazing influences, channeling the amazing sound of the past, along with some new ideas.
“Watch Your Language” is a truly happening track, with a funky/jazzy groove and so many cool guests bringing a special feel to this song. I love the free-form attitude of this track, which gives it a spontaneous vibe.
“Blaze Up the Fire” is a more imaginative and diverse tune, which sets the bar higher in terms of production. The lo-fi, massive guitar tones almost make me think of something Tom Waits could do, and the recordings have a sick old-school vibe, kind of like Biggie’s Machine Gun Funk!
Last, but definitely not least, “My Civilization” is the perfect curtain closer, it brings so much vibe to the setlist, and it has a more atmospheric feel, with some cool guitars and production aesthetics, bringing the record to full circle - and closing in with some great lyrics.
At times, you come across artists who merely try to push their popularity agenda and entertain the audience with their music. In other situations, you stumble upon artists who aim for something much greater than that: to create a meaningful and lasting connection with their audience, ultimately expressing themselves and sharing their creative vision with whoever is there to listen. This is certainly the case of Holistic Meditation, a really talented artist with a passion for the engaging energy of rap music and the blooming melodies of meditative music. More importantly, the artist's themes are really conscious and meaningful, giving his music a whole new level of truth and connection with the audience. His work is highly expressive, and his songs are always rooted in realness and insightful atmosphere, which are so important to create the right mood for this release to unfold beautifully.
In terms of production come up, the sound of this release blurs the lines between the organic warmth of old school rap and the fresh attitude that drives modern hip-hop.
"Art of Freedom" is a beautiful and inspiring album with a focus on conscious hip-hop music. These days, it is not always easy to come by music that's actually made with passion and commitment to quality songwriting. However, this Holistic Meditation hits the mark in every way. The sounds of this release are very lush and atmospheric, also enabling the artist to create the perfect mood. The flow of the music is inspired by the sound of influential artists as diverse as Krs One, Brother Ali, Rakim, Lupe Fiasco, and T.I., only to mention a few. However, "Art of Freedom" is absolutely one of a kind, treating the listeners to a defining sonic experience that is so much more than what traditional hip-hop has to offer. Holistic Meditation has a really special approach to production, with a sound that feels clear and sophisticated, yet warm and organic. In addition to the world-class production aesthetics, the release is also lifted up the artist's remarkable performer, displaying a very dynamic vocal style that brings energy and vibrancy to the table, seamlessly blurring the lines between different styles and ideas.
Being free is a state of mind, and if you go by the title of this beautiful song, it is also a form of art. I personally believe that it takes a lot of courage to truly be free because the world sometimes expects so much from us, and it's easy to fall in line and do what other people expect us to do. However, if you take the chance and embrace your freedom, many amazing things could actually happen. This could be one of the many ways in which you could interpret the very positive, charming, and uplifting message behind this beautiful album project.
Ultimately, one of the most impressive aspects of the work of this artist and the sound of this particular release, he's definitely the fact that everything is so positive. You only need to listen to a few seconds of music to know that these are songs that you can connect with on a more personal level. If you are lucky enough to catch the artist live on stage, I can only imagine that this will be an absolutely fantastic way to enjoy the sound of Holistic Meditation. He seems to be exactly the kind of person who actually thrives when he can connect with others and share his artistry from soul to soul. His passion and energy really shine through, and every single line is things into a microphone is pure gold. "Art of Freedom" is a fantastic achievement for this rapper, and more importantly, it stands out as a really great calling card to show the world what he can achieve with his skills, creativity, and vision.

Really feeling The Sun Coming From Each Sides To Affection As Well As Be actually Really Loved Is.
Cheaptubeaudio has had a lengthy background from encouraging evenly priced but superb tube gears, especially Singled-Ended Triodes. On a somewhat a lot more haunting details, Linkin Park also elevated the title from Killing Joke's 1986 cd More vibrant In comparison to a 1000 Suns, which was released on Jeff Buckley's 20th birthday party. The spreading from your hands and also your body system's posture are actually still the same as in Stance 6. I like using the app Spotify as my daily radio for it is very convenient now a days, especially in the age of technology. I Always bring my phone with me all the time where ever I go, and I got Spotify on my phone which enables me to listen to music using the app anytime, on the spot. All you need to do is download your favorite songs or songs you like to listen to, add it to your playlist, then boom! You are good to go. That is why I love using Spotify.
There are a lot of songs that I could say and recommend in this post but I will tell the 10 of the my most favorite ones. ( They are not arranged accordingly to my most favorite and least favorite).
Favorite 10 songs of mine.
Courageous – Casting Crowns
This is a Christian song that I really like because it talks about the strength of humanity when it comes to serving people and their gods. Though it is a Christian song, other religions could also relate to this song, specially at times of hardships and feeling down and weak. Just listen to this song, and I think this might help you with your troubles. I believe in the saying that “fear hinders all”. Yes, that is normal, but how will you seek strength. Listen to this song and you will know. Maybe you could even find your purpose with this song.
Ever Enough – A Rocket to the moon
As a lover, this song really is important to me and it also describes on how much I love as a person now. Because, honestly, I wasn’t the best lover before, but because of this song, I realized on how important love is and that this song teaches me on how to love, passionately, faithfully, and loyally; that even on the hard times and all the sacrifices are worth it, as long as you love truly. I think all you lovers and even those who are admiring someone out there should listen to this song too. It has a nice melody, a nice rhythm, and the lyrics are just perfect. Perfect enough for a person to be in love.
Humble and kind – Tim Mcgraw
The song is already said using its title, humble and kind. I love this song for it mainly tells about the good values and morals that a person should have in order to be happy, contented, and peaceful in life. I also love the music video for it emphasizes on equality no matter on what age you are, what’s your race, the beliefs you believe in, everything is equal in this world. It also tells you to appreciate everything, from the small things to the big ones, the good and the bad, the right and the wrong. The message of the song is just so eye opening and heat warming for me. Plus, it’s a country song! Which I also like.
Iris – Goo Goo Dolls
This was by far, my first favorite song that I could remember. The song for me describes on how a person lives. It describes a person’s life in general. For me, the song is relatable to all the people at some points in their life. It could be the ups, the downs, the twists, the turns; I mean like literally it could be related to it. In my own opinion, the message of he song is all about finding yourself and being true to yourself, and always remember that life will not understand you, it will hit you right in the face with everything that it could hit you. As the lyrics goes “I don’t want the world to see me, ‘cause I don’t think that they’d understand. When everything’s meant to be broken, I just want you to know who I am.”
Leave out all the rest – Linkin park
First of all, I’ve been a fan of the linking park since my elementary years, and it broke my heart when their lead vocals committed suicide, it just really broke my heart. All the songs of linking park became more meaningful when the lead vocals took his own life. This song, in my opinion, talks about a suicide. If you listen to the lyrics carefully, it talks about a person talking about his/her own death and that person being weak and is slowly giving up on his/her life. It talks about the feeling of being ignored, unappreciated, not loved, rejected, discouraged, and lonely. This song makes me rethink life. T made me realize on how much life is important and of that, we should care more for the people that we know and the people in general. We should love more and show people that we care, specially those who are in the shadows of death. We can do something to help. Listen to this song. It is really touchy and also very meaningful.
Never Gonna be Alone – Nickelback
Time will pass quickly in our lives that sometime we are not able to say the things that we should or we want to say to the person that really means a lot to us. Basically, the song for me talks about the importance of time and of that, we should cherish it and make everything worth it o every second that passes by, because we will never know on what could happened on the next seconds of our lives. Say what you want to say, do what you want to do, because right now is the only chance that you have. Make everything worth it. Be there for people that you love, and make memories that will surely last forever. You will never know when the time will come when everything will slip away. Do not make it to the point where you regret things.
Say you won’t let go – James Arthur
Another love song that I really like because I feel that I can relate to it, I like songs that I can relate to. I like this song because the song is like narrating a love story in a form of a song, which for me is really catchy. Plus, I really like the 2nd and last verses of the song, for just like in the song, I also dream of waking up in bed with the one I love, have my own children, and even live with the one I love until death do us part. It also inspires me that I should do everything just to keep and accomplish my promises and dreams of love and family in the future, that I really hope I could accomplish and have even through thick and thin, ups and downs; as the song says “say you won’t let go”, so I won’t.
Something just like this – The Chainsmokers & Coldplay
Firstly, I got really attracted to the song because of its beat and rhythm. I really do not like songs with a “party-like” genre, but this for me is the only exemption. I like the song because of its lyrics. Simply because it talks about finding somebody that a person could be with, he/she do not need to be a superhero just to be with that person, just a normal person to spend time with. I also like that the song related superheroes to it, like the person is looking for a superhero to be with, but that person is just really lonely that needs somebody to be with him/her. For me, it is a party-beat song that has a deeper meaning to it.
Thank you for loving me – Bon Jovi
As life progresses there are a lot of events that happened in our lives. Events that made us cry, made us weak, made us stumble and fall, made us fail, made us regret, made us sad and mad, made us hate ourselves, and all the other “made us…” that we can think about. But despite of those events, there were people who were there for us to catch us when we fall, to help up stand up when we stumble, to help us pass challenges that seemed to be very difficult to overcome, to teach us on how to live. This song is a tribute, in my part, to those who are very special to me. My family, my relatives, my friends, my girlfriend, and all the people who showed care for me. I am always thankful for your love for me. Remember to be thankful for those who were there for you, and also, be there for others in need.
Wind of Change – Scorpions
This is the oldest of my favorite songs. My grandmother gave it to me when I was like 8 years old, and by then, I loved the band, specially this song of theirs. The main reason why I like this song is because it tells us about change. That everything changes no matter how much you want to stop it, the past will never be changed, but will be remembered and learned from. The future will always come, like the wind, the future is just in the air that will happen soon. We always dream, and we dream about the future of ourselves and the world. It also gives importance on the world, that it is a beautiful place that we should be more careful of it and be more faithful in taking good care of it. It is the only place where we live, we change it for the better, not the worse.
