au where alfred is a prince (and also trans) and he's in this very sterotypical damsel in a tower type situation and he's stucked ther for yours and just with himself, figuring out his identity, teaching himself to sew to cut up all the dresses he was sent with and like he's got trousers now, makes a pretty solid rope of old clothes and just,,, dips out of the tower and decides to move to some far off town and becomes a tailor and just kind of lays low bc who would want to go back to a family that locks you in a tower??? Anyway some person knight whatever (character undecided) goes to the tower intent to rescue the princess that's said to be trapped bc they want the reward and also to marry into royalty and everyone knows that's how these things go but the princess is gone so they're on the hunt because who doesn't want to marry into royalty and I think this could be really funny if they meet alfred who agrees to help them look idsalfh
