Turtles and the Notebook

It was a normal day at the lair. Crime had been at its lowest point all year and the boys could finally relax and just have a day to themselves.

But, why would they do that when they could invite their best friends (and crush) over.

April and Y/n were quickly called and they all had a blast together.

Well they think Y/n had a good time, he was a very quiet person and didn't show a lot of emotions.

When April and Y/n left that night and most of the lights had been turned off, that's when something caught his eye, a notebook.

He didn't recognize it, picking it up off the sofa and flipping through it.

But wait....this is clearly Y/n's hand writing....but it's about....him?

Bay!Leo:

Jaw. Dropped.

He laughs in disbelief, this notebook, is full of drawings and notes about him!

And they drew him well

Has he always had such nice legs?

Wait, no, he shouldn't be looking through this. It was an invasion to Y/n' privacy and should be returned.

But....how can he do it with a straight face now, you clearly wrote those things on purpose and apparently like him back

Does he return it and act like normal? No, he couldn't possibly do that

He wants to close the journal but he just can't, seeing how you drew his expressions and the sweet notes with little hearts made his knees feel week.

You never, ever showed this much emotion with anything, you were quiet and observant, like him, but you had such a kind a caring heart

He sighed, closing the book and making up his mind. He'd returnt the book, it's the right thing to do.

But there may or may not be a small note tucked into the pages asking you out on a date.

His heart plummets to his stomach, before he can realize what he's doing he's out of the lair, journal in hand, rushing to your apartment.

Mistook it for one of his own notebooks, didn't realize it until after he had written down a.....very long.....and complex equation....that takes up a whole 2 pages...

He feels slightly guilty about writing in it, he would hate for someone to do something like that to him.

He'd quickly go to close it, in the process though, it flies from his hands and hits the floor, pages up.

It's now on two full pages of your drawings and it's takes him until he's picked it up and shoved his face in it to realize the drawings are of him.

His heart rate spikes and he feels himself start to sweat buckets

He quickly closes the notebook and returns it on your next visit, trying not to make it obvious that he knew what was inside.

He plans and plans and plans for weeks, taking data on how you act around him versus his brothers to see if you do have feelings for him.

When the results come back positive, he starts a new experiment.

Goes right over his head

Okay, you left your journal, everybody does that, and he's quite the specimen so of course you chose to draw him

Your skills were very good, you got his expressions near perfect and the proportions were spot on

It was clear that all the time you spent in the lab with him was to study and draw him

In a strange way it made him feel a bit....special

You choose to draw him. To make him the center of every page. To draw little hearts next to him smiling -wait what

Why are there hearts next to him smiling? And when was he smiling like that?

This is clearly a mistake, you must've just been doodling.

He does the responsible thing and close the journal and text you that it's still in the lair

Of course he doesn't mention that he went through it, he'd freak out if his brothers went through his things.

But he rolls around in his bed that night, unable to sleep, thinking about what you drew

Suddenly he jumps from his bed, he's got a new equation to solve

Probably the only one who doesn't open the notebook right away.

He stares at it for a few hours, unsure of what to do. He tries doing others things as a distraction, but his eyes keep going back to it.

Bay!Mikey:

But his curiosity gets the best of him and he looks.

And his jaw dropped to the floor seeing that you had drawn him. And drawn him.....quite handsome

He puts it back where you left it and acts like he doesn't know what it is.

He'll be way more flirty and tease you way more to try and get you to admit your feelings.

He loves seeming you get flustered.

Turns redder than his mask.

He's so flustered and embarrassed and probably almost ruins it when he tries to close it and put it back down.

He's so awkward for a few weeks after he returns it, he has no idea how to act around you after seeing little sketches of him smiling and laughing.

I mean, you drew hearts next to him smiling, that's gotta mean something right?

He's too nervous to make any first moves, you'll have to be the one to do that.

But when you do, he's over the moon and will happily reciprocate.

Purposefully opens and looks in it.

He's got no shame when he found it, he flips through every page and goes through it at least three times over.

He takes pictures of his favorites and puts them in a separate folder to look at when he's sad.

His heart skips a beat and he immediately seeks you out to tell you.

He doesn't beat around the bush, he's got actual proof that you like him back and he isn't going to waste this moment.

You'd both been each other's models hundred of times, it was no surprise to see himself in your notebook

Wait, that was when you two were hanging out in the kicthen, he was trying a new recipe and you were at the dining table.

Name's Maria, I'm the artist kind mamas of creative kids warn them they'll end up being if they pursue the arts and a down bad fangirl of 100s of things.

For artists coming across this and wondering what's my deal, here're a few things you need to know:

I'm a writer of a horror/dark fantasy baby series that turnt 13 this year. Currently editing book 1. Inspired by my love for visual kei and horror, the plot revolves around a bunch of demons who were made specifically to defeat God's army after the fall of Lucifer, but wished a life beyond being weapons, escaped, got cursed, and you get to see what they are up to, these days, through the series. It's a quest for freedom and claiming your right to be yourself no matter what anyone says. Being proud of who you are and the life you chose to live.

[side note: My focus on personal freedom to be who you are isn't about things you were born with, like skin color, sexuality etc, so much, but another common thing that keeps many people trapped in themselves and in societies that force you to be one thing. It's about chosen ways of life, such as clothing style, having piercings or tattoos, weight (ok this one isn't alway a choice), how active one's sexual life is, if you're having babies or not in life. etc.]

Which leads to another art I've touched;

Digital art. I hate how I always have to specify this but most non artist people, when they hear digital artist, they think of people who draw, illustrators. While I'm trying to learn that too, and I do use a bit of painting in my works, this isn't my main focus. I am a photomanipulator, another category of digital art, the artists of which connect various stock pictures together and makes new pictures. Like this one (the logo is old, ignore it):

That means I also make graphics. I've made gifs and edits for my vkei faves before. You can find them under the tags #my gif & #my edit accordingly.

Video editing. I've returnt to my childhood passion recently but muscle memory is doing well. I unfortunately can't afford the things I'd really like to film so I resolved to vtubing. I'm @LadyHawthorn on Youtube if you wish to find me and I'm doing a variety of things cause I hate being forced to do one thing all the time. I mainly post myself playing Reverse: 1999 and theorizing on it, but I like doing reactions on Genshin Impact new content when I get it on time (I can't play unfortunately cause it requires different equipment) too. I also occasionally do movie reactions and will soon try anime too. Other stuff I'm interested in doing are: writing videos, more asmr if people show more interest and eventually hopefully talk about my book series and the lore of my vtuber character, when I can afford an animation for her.

Right off the bat, I'd like to say I'm a big horror fan so if you're a minor I'd suggest you stayed away, cause I might eventually post sth you shouldn't see. I grew up with horror personally and I don't really get the whole "cover scary stuff and blood from kids" but because some of you might be more sensitive to that than I was, better safe than sorry. Again I find this a bit too much cause horror didn't hurt me growing up, real life did, but yeah, you do what's comfortable for you.

Jdorama. I'm sorry I've only watched 3 Kdramas and stopped. My heart's in Japan xD. I have watched many things, including pretty much everything Oguri Shun has done, many MatsuJun stuff, I loved Alice in Wonderland and I'm in desperate need for new jdramas to watch that aren't some cheesy romance or another police story. ._.

Videogames. I'm a Genshin Impact, Reverse: 1999 and Nikke enthusiast, you can talk to me about these all day every day I wouldn't mind. I'm also a huge Silent Hill and Final Fantasy X & X-2 fan (before the HD version that basically ruined the story and I don't consider it canon. -_-)

Any other interests? Well I sing. If you like singing we can enjoy chatting about our favorite vocals and struggles of singing xD. However I know nth about music theory so please be kind to me. I only tried 1 semester of vocal training and 1 year of music production and I dropped both so....let's keep it on the fun side of singing and not sweat the technical stuff much, kay? ^^'>

so after my run when im sitting in my spot, hot, sweaty, gross with tangled hair and wearing nothing but my rattiest shorts and sports bra, a couple things happened in very quick succession:

A) i got to watch two beautiful giant dogs scamper playfully across my favorite most picturesque bridge with a waterfall, underneath my favorite glowing verdant tree, and i didnt have my phone out so couldnt capture it on video and i started musing on the emphemeral elusive nature of beauty. For reference this is the bridge:

B) the dogs run back across the bridge and go to their owner walking down the steps above me - a very tall man who matches his dogs and his little toddler

C) suddenly there is a giant dog next to my elbow while i am typing at my keyboard, and i turn to say hi and something VERY cold and very wet bumps into my back. The second giant dog went for a swim apparently. I exclaim with surprise, but they are very VERY sweet dogs so its a good surprise. The soaking wet dog obediently returnts to its owner.

D) Tall Dad is immediately apologetic, starts walking over to say sorry i think. But no! In his giant hands is a little turtle ("i found him all the way up there!" the dad says)('there' being the very top of the garden steps, probaby super difficult for a turtle to climb down)

E) this dude saved a wandering turtle and gently, carefuly brought him back down to the turtle pond ;_;

C) Tall Dad releases the turtle and his little girl climbs onto the pond perimeter to watch next to me. Turtle immediatey starts swimming very happily and joins his fellow turtles in the pond (one turtle in particular immeidately stops sunbathing and swims over). Its a heart warming turtle reuinion. The dogs are also extemey interested in (eating?) the turtle but one word from Tall Dad and they obediently stay away. And im like oh my god is he perfect????

G) Dude apologizes again and i assure him everything is fine. im happily watching his dogs with maybe too much longing. They are friendly and fuffy, and so sweet, even the soaking wet one.

K) Before he leaves Tall Dad leans over and tells me "You have beautiful eyes!" and im ????!>>!>?>?!>@!?!?????

L) and then they're gone????? Dogs, dad, and little girl disappear back up the stairs, and im stuck here alone with nothing to do but watch turtles and write fanfic again?????

Tldr i feel like the onus for asking for your number is on single dads when theyre with their kids because how am i supposed to know they are single??? You’re to blame too, since you knew this could happen, no, scratch that, you knew this would happen if they decided to play anything. You know he gets too involved with these silly games and can’t stand losing. Not very different from your dad and your brother in law.

Today had to be perfect. You were finally introducing Jungkook to your family, something he’s been insisting on for a few weeks now. Can I be bitter for a second? Ok. So...let's get a few things out of the way first:

I do realize that two people can be ok with each other and even remain besties after a disband cause the fact they can't agree artistically doesn't necessarily mean they hate each other, it's just that their work direction and tastes are different.

I do agree that no matter how much you read on or from someone you will never know them personally or like their friends do, and that even with friends people have secrets so, technically no person ever trully knows another (at least in my opinion, there's always one thing you never say to others or you say to one, but not another and vice versa for another thing)

I have nth against Tano cause Tano seems to be taking no sides in this.

BUT! I can't shake off the fact that I'd been told by a fan following the band in Japan, that Ryuji didn't like Ikuma. So, even though I kept following Ryuji for a while more, I had that in the back of my mind. Cause I've heard Ikuma talk about Ryuji and seems to really like him or he's a very good actor, I don't fucking know. But yeah anyway Ryuji was the only REIGN member to return fast, he went on to work with Kyokutou Romance.

Anyway so to see him now returning with Tano kinda feels like how I felt when Versailles returnt as Jupiter and it was basically Versailles without Kamijo. And back then I thought that was weird cause they're still friends with each other right? Did they all disagree with Kamijo's vision so much? I felt paranoid for several years until Yuki and Masashi joined Kamijo again and in an interview, I don't remember who said it, it must have been Kamijo, he admitted he was told by the members eventually that there was sth he was doing that bothered them and they talked it through and found a middle ground and there is no bitterness among them anymore (and they proved it the following years). I distinctly remember him mentioning his argument with Yuki cause it had shocked me for a couple of personal reasons.

Anyway. That's how this feels like to me too, like REIGN without Ikuma. And if I find out that that fan was right and it was Ryuji's attitude that broke REIGN I don't want to fucking see his face anywhere again. I'm not saying Ikuma's an angel, I'm just saying how everyone who's been in the same band as Ikuma acts vs those who were in the same band with Ryuji. *shrugs* And if Ikuma doesn't make a comeback NOW, Imma lose my mind. Ikuma was sitting home beating himself up since 2020 (while building his own business sure but I'm talking about his artistic side) and dealing with his inferiority complex and insecurities, while this dude kept going and now even works with Tano again cause Tano is the only dude I've personally seen sticking by him still. Now the reason I have nth against Tano like I said is cause Tano was the first dude to ask Ikuma sing with him again. Ikuma didn't think he'd get invitations anymore. I don't even know why, there are several jrockers who consider him up to their level, maybe it was insecurity talking maybe it was his age kicking him in the butt, but it really saddened me seeing my fucking light feeling so dark and all I could do was fucking watch. So I too was very glad to see Tano pull him up again and ask him join him on stage cause the only time he found the courage to do it by himself was on his bday. So yeah Tano is clear in this but I am bitter about the fact Ryuji got to make a new band with him and not Ikuma.

I know there are other guitarists he can turn to, but since he was willing to work with him again for 2 sessions he'd probably be down if Ikuma asked to start another band, I'm guessing.

Anyway yeah, good luck with the duet, however if Ryuji leaves again I won't be surprised. But I do think they match well together since they seem to agree and vibe better with each other.

Single mum dilemmas

So as a single mum .......we all think it would never happen to us , no one likes a broken home or a broken family.

I had visions of my life being so perfect family walks hand holding and thoughts of magical memories.

My ex turnt out to be a narcissist.

He emotionally abused me to the extreme where it become normal life to be bullied into doing or acting a certain way, he wanted me to change and I wanted love.....(that’s when the clash happened)

As women after a baby we all get needy and insecure but the expectation is to not allow that to happen according to men.

So here’s my story.......

I had a child 2 and a half years ago my relationship was a whirlwind at the beginning trips to Paris Tenerife London was so romantic....but that’s where you become stuck in the honeymoon period.

It then turnt sour,during pregnancy he didn’t support me when I was nesting he wouldn’t help he become distant .

During labour he fell asleep while I was contracting pumping myself silly with the epidural he was pulling out the zzzzzzzz .

My beautiful baby boy was born via csection it went from bad to worse.....I had baby blues !!! He didn’t get it I acted out trying to make him notice me and our baby screaming inside for help , but I got nothing in return.

While my heart was breaking he was enjoying his life planning a future but refusing to move forward refusing to have joint responsibility in bills or funding anything??? Now it makes sense as he didn’t want me to have any responsibility or have any independence he wanted control. Unfortunately I allowed that to happen for 3 years kept threatening to go but never seeing it through. Except one day he toon the family car and moved it taking my keys from my door keys to the car trying to keep me in the flat which was owned by him (without no vehicle I couldn’t get anywhere we was very isolated near a motorway)

So I called upon my family who helped me take the leap and go for a break, within 45 mins of him coming home he realises or assumes I’ve left (even though I left with an over night bag and a few items for our son) it was forever goodbye it was my time to allow him to miss me or work out what was needed to happen.

He changed the locks on the doors all our belongings was kept in the flat made it hard for

Access and made it hard to get belongings for our son, we had nothing not a penny to our name as two days prior I had spent the last 80 pounds on a family food shop!!! All for his lunches I know what your thinking FOOL

And that I was, we never returnt 10 weeks it took me to secure a car and a home , in the mean time he was still seeing me I held a lot of hope that we could build on our happy family that was so broken , I felt such guilt .....how have I let my sons father treat me like that why does he not love our son enuf to make this work why did he want me to fail so much,,,,,,but the main one was why is he being so close but so distant at the same time .

See that’s what narcissist do they make u Believe they are right they draw you in enough to believe your wrong they ignore what they feel they don’t need to answer they emotionally abuse you aswell as mentally then tell you your the bad guy......well guess what I’m not!

I allowed contact every weekend never once stopped it untill he said Monday’s wasn’t good so I stopped Monday’s but guess what ....I then got called a shit mum.

I also had several welfare checks done on me and my son!!! Waste of time closed the same day!! My abiolity as a mother is outstanding he knows this but used it as a tactical fear factor!!!!

Didn’t work I become stronger and my strength grew I found the laws out and joint a single mums group on fb.....(silly I know but it’s the most nicest bunch of women and strong I think I’ve ever spoke to other than my naighbour )

I found my true friends out , I found out I had let my guard down and allowed one joint friend into my private life for her to side give advice to my ex which hurt. Joint friend yes but for her to draw out my emotions take note and then ignore how I was feeling become unfair (instant block)
