For me, it all started with book boxes. I subscribed to quite a few, and this brief window of self-indulgence (ahem "research") gifted me with some items that I absolutely love and will last me longer than it took to read the books. For example: this red leather bound notebook. Always needing a notebook, I immediately cooed over this stylish and quality item. It was part of @thefabledcrate subscription box for those that love to read fantasy. When I have filled the pages, I can get refills so the leather cover will be with me for years. From there grew an appreciation there is more to discovery boxes then just promoting small businesses. Discovery boxes are also about getting awesome things that you never knew you needed and keepsakes you would come to love.
