Sam is absolutely more of a Hugger in general--but learns pretty early on that Lucy is a 'don't touch me unless asked' person.

So the initiator is definitely Lucy (for the most part) until they hit that Actually in a Relationship stage which is about 6/7 years after they first meet (so by the time they are 18/19). Once they're *there*, Lucy doesn't mind any sort of initiative from Sam - but BEFORE that 🗡
