she  can  feel  it  in  the  air,  the  way  ricks  changed  since  the  prison.  she  can't  help  but  wonder  if  he  can  feel  the  same  with  her,  if  he  can  feel  the  difference.  he  can  see  it,  obviously,  in  the  cast  on  her  wrist  and  the  bandage  from  a  bullet  that  just  scraped  the  surface  of  her  head,  but  anyone  could  see  that.  the  scars  on  her  face  weren't  subtle,  porcelain  features  forever  changed.    ❝     y’ risked  a  lot  to  get  me  back.    ❞    spoken  almost  as  if  she  doesn't  believe  it,  as  if  she  thinks  it  was  too  big  a  risk.  it  was  a  risk,  but  she's  glad  they  took  it.    ❝     i...  i  wasn't  sure  I'd  be  someone  y’  all  cared  about  enough  to  risk  it  all.    ❞    spoken  with  a  gentle  laugh,  though  the  sweetness  in  her  tone  doesn't  hide  the  weight  of  the  words.    ❝     thank  you.    ❞
