💭 What is a headcanon you have about your own work?

Oooooohhhh!!!! Ummm.... I think... Ok I fell in love with Teen Bad Boy Eddie Diaz in Bookshop AU so I have a whole story about his struggle with his parents I might explore in a fic. But I also touched on it too in A Book is a Dream You Hold in Your Hands which is that Eddie was really close with his abuela and that caused a little resentment from his dad. Not in the way that like Margaret was towards Buck but just that way parents sometimes get when grandparents just get their grandkids more. I definitely have a HC that he wanted to run away to live with her. I think in Bookshop AU at least one of the few people who has seen Eddie cry is his abuela and I think one of the things he and Buck were able to relate to was this sense of peace with Maddie and Isabel that they didn't get with their parents. A sense of being seen and heard and understood in a way that was effortless. I just love Teenage Eddie's relationship with his abuela.

😐 What embarrasses you most about your own writing?

UGH! I have such a problem with homophones and homographs. I don't know what about it that cause my brain to just not notice but it drives me bananas. Especially because I tend to read through my fics about three times before I post them but then suddenly I'll catch that I've written "crowd" instead of "ground".

“Eddie!” Buck forced out, shuddering as he swallowed and felt every inch of the gun against his throat. “Eddie stop!”

“Buck? Are you—"

“Stop! Stop moving!” Buck heard Eddie’s boots squeak to a stop.
