Regarding "Care For Series"
Hi all! I know all of you have been patiently waiting for the updated chapters of the story and the latest chapter. Unfortunately, I've been busy rebuilding my YouTube channel, trying to find a job and working on other projects so much so I haven't been able to focus on rewriting previous chapters besides chapter one.
Probably in due time I will have the strength to come back to the story and rewrite it. I think with my long standing history with hate from writing this particular series I'm somewhat afraid to write it again.
In the next few days I'll release the next chapter in line just be aware in a different writing style compared to the rest of the story because I haven't been able to update it.
Take care all x

Three Pieces of the Same Whole
Overall Summary: Apparently, it was not normal to have two names on your arm and it did, in fact, mean that you had two soulmates. What happens when you meet the both of them?
Chapter Summary: Dwalin, explained.
Pairings: Thorin x Dwalin x Reader
Words: 641
Notes: Soulmate!AU; Modern!AU
Previous Chapter: Chapter 1
Next Chapter: Chapter 3
-
Taking off your apron, you go into the back to sign punch out. It had been such a hectic day, running around and getting orders done. You just wanted to go home and fall on your bed but you knew you couldn’t. You had your soulmates waiting for you.
You saw them walk in before you went to clock out and the thought of talking to them gave you butterflies. Well talking to Thorin gave you butterflies. You were still weary about Dwalin.
You shake your head before grabbing your things and walking out. Dwalin and Thorin are both standing by the doorway with their arms crossed and eyes glaring and that makes you not want to walk up to them.
Did they really have to be handsome and scary?
Thorin catches your eye and his face relaxes, showing you a bright smile. Well, you were going to melt right then and there. That was it.
“Thorin Oakenshield,” he says, holding out his hand and you shake it, smiling back at him.
“Y/n L/n,” you say before turning to Dwalin.
He still had had a scowl on his face and he was still glaring at you. Whatever this was, wasn’t going to be easy.
“This Dwalin Fundinson. Obviously he’s not much of a talker,” Thorin says and you look away from Dwalin and turn to Thorin, trying to ignore the pain in your chest.
Your soulmate obviously doesn’t like you and that hurt you more than you would like to admit.
“Would you like to get a bite to eat?” Thorin asks and you shake your head.
“I’m not really up to it. Maybe at a later date?” You ask and Thorin looks at you confused for a second before nodding and bringing out his phone.
“Should we exchange contacts?” He asks and you nod and you both switch phones. When that is done, you start heading towards the door.
“I’ll see you both later,” you say before exiting the building quickly. You couldn’t handle being glared at by Dwalin. It just made you hate yourself because, for some reason, you pissed off your soulmate and you couldn’t live with that fact.
-
As soon as y/n leaves, Thorin punches Dwalin in the shoulder bringing him out of his stupor.
“The hell was that for?” Dwalin asks, rubbing his arm.
“For being a rude prick. If you hadn’t been glaring at her the entire time, she probably would’ve joined us for dinner. She is our soulmate Dwalin like we are each other’s and you need to get used to the idea that there is another person entering our life. If not, I’m going to shove you down the stairs,” Thorin grumbles before walking out and Dwalin follows him out, still sore but not about the punch.
Him and Thorin had been together since they were children. Their father’s were very close friends so their families were always together. They knew they were each other’s soulmates since they were children, however they didn’t get together until college although they technically have been together since forever.
The second name always puzzled them when it showed up the year they both turned 15. Dwalin had been skeptical about it because one: their other partner was fifteen years younger than them and two: he had to share. He wasn’t good with sharing anything really. From his feelings to his money, he kept it all to himself unless it was for his family. So sharing Thorin with another did not sit right with him and still did not sit right with him.
He gets into the passengers seat of the car and watches Thorin from the corner of his eyes. If Thorin wanted this to work out then maybe he should at least try to be kinder to her for him. Always for him.

Fili x Reader {Kingly Worries & Vibrant Flower Crowns}
Just a little oneshot to try and get rid of my writer’s block
“Where’s (Y/n)?” Fili asked anyone he could find, the kingdom buzzing with activity. Today was his coronation, and his One was nowhere to be found.
“(Y/n)?” He called into the kitchen, maybe you were getting a snack? Nope, not there either.
Next, he tried the baths, covering his eyes he opened the door slightly, “(Y/n)?”
“Not in here!” A frightened woman replied, causing him to snap the door shut in embarrassment, “My apologies!”
“Where could she be?” Fili thought aloud, the thought of you not being in the one major event in his life besides your upcoming marriage disheartened him. Stuck in his thoughts, he didn’t notice one of the maids coming through with a bundle of flowers. Running into her, Fili immediately spewed apologies as the maid simply shook her head with a smile, “Inside your thoughts again, Prince Fili?” Giving a sheepish smile, he nodded, it wasn’t uncommon to see Fili trapped in his thoughts on a evening stroll or staring out the window for long periods of time.
“I’m looking for (Y/n), have you seen her by chance?” The maid looked out the window in a brief moment of thought before nodding, “Aye, I have, last I saw she was in the garden with some children,” The maid shrugged as Fili brightened up, “Thank you!” He shouted back to the maid as he took running down the hall, now having a burst of energy to find you.
..
“-And loop it around one more time,” You instructed the small girls in front of you as they tried to replicate what you were doing with your fingers. The flowers looped into a ring, becoming a crown of sorts, decorated in vibrant pinks and purples.
“I did it!” A young girl by the name of Eleanor cheered, holding her slightly messy, but beautiful flower crown up for you to see. “Yes, you did!” You cheered with her as the others too began cheering about their success, bringing a smile across your face.
“(Y/n)!” Fili called to you as he entered the garden, a smile blooming on his face as he saw your grin from a distance.
“It seems that I am needed, ladies, why don’t you go show these off to your parents, aye?” You convinced them, causing giggles and squeals of joy to erupt as they thought of the prideful look their parents would give them.
“Okay!” They announced in almost perfect unison as they all stood up and ran back inside the kingdom to track down their parents. Laughing you watched them go inside before looking over to Fili, who was now approaching your small spot in the grass.
“Hello, my love~” You cooed, leaning back on your hands as he took a seat beside you, “Hello my wanderer,” Fili responded cheekily as he laid his head in your lap. A laugh left your throat as you began dragging your nails through his freshly washed hair, his eyes slipping shut in satisfaction. The kingly braid, you remembered, was going to be placed in his hair in just a few hours time.
“Wanderer?” You questioned with amusement as he slowly opened his eyes in response to your question. “I wake up, your gone, I ask all around Erebor and no one has seen you besides the maid down in the west hall, who told me she saw you in the garden,” Fili explained in a somewhat angry tone, his smile betraying his mock anger.
Rolling your eyes, you leaned down to press a kiss to his lips, “Well, I take it you didn’t find my note on my pillow then?” You asked, remembering writing out exactly where you’d be when he would wake. “I’m telling you, I woke up and--- Note…” Fili froze, looking up to the clouds for a moment, “You... left... A note.”
Nodding with a grin, Fili groaned, “I’m sorry amrâlimê, I’ll look better next time,” He mumbled the last part, mostly to himself. Pressing your forehead against his, you pressed a kiss to his temple, “Well you found me, is there something you needed? I thought you would’ve been busy with coronation stuff?” You questioned in a soft tone, knowing his anxiety about becoming a king was overwhelming sometimes.
“I just needed you,” Fili responded with a lopsided smile, his eyes showing how much anxiety he truly felt. “I worry… I worry about becoming a great king like Uncle, what if I can’t measure up? What if they want a new king--” You stopped him by plopping the flower crown you crafted onto his head.
“Well, I know you’ll become a great king, with a great crown as well.” You smiled reassuringly, stroking your hand down the side of his face, enjoying the feel of his slightly scratchy stubble near his cheekbone.
Reaching his hand up, Fili chuckled when he felt the velvety petals, “A crown fit for a king,” He mused.

Reborn
Summary: Female Istari were not well known. In fact, none of them existed, except for you of course. Your uniqueness earns you a spot in the company and in a certain elf’s heart.
Chapter Summary: King’s make amends and Thranduil asks something of you.
Pairing: Legolas x Reader
Previous Chapter: Chapter 1
Next Chapter: Chapter 3
“I expected as much from Gandalf, but not you.”
As Legolas had predicted, Thranduil wanted to speak to you first. It didn’t really surprise you. You were very close to the elven king.
“Really? I didn’t think you would care what we do with our lives as long as we stay out of yours,” you say, coldly.
Thranduil smirks at you and you let out a laugh, dropping your facade.
“I am curious as to what you’re doing here. I haven’t seen you in these parts in over a century, my lady. In fact, I swear I heard a rumor going around saying that you had perished in the halls of Erebor.”
“That I did. You seem to forget, quite often, why Istari were brought here. If you do not care to remember, I don’t not care to tell you. All I’m doing is leading these dwarves to see their kin in the Iron Hills. As you know, I am quite close with the line of Durin.”
“I don’t think getting lost necessarily counts as leading,” Thranduil states and you can’t help but laugh again. You supposed he was right.
“Although I hate to admit it, there is some truth to your words,” you laugh, relaxing a bit. Thranduil smiles at you before his gaze catches something else.
“My son seems very fond of you.”
Turning to see what he’s talking about, you see blonde hair shifting behind a pillar in the distance.
“If I didn’t know any better, I would assume he was an elfling,” you say, turning back to the king.
Thranduil lets out a chuckle.
“I think it is safe to say that many would assume that. What are your intentions with my son?”
“I don’t know what you mean,” you lie.
You didn’t think he would approve of whatever this was.
“I like you, Lady Y/n. Do not lie to me,” Thranduil states, stopping his circling to stand in front of you.
“I am simply wanting to get to know him better. That is all.” For now.
“You are one of the oldest beings alive. Do you not think it strange that you should fall in love with an elf prince?”
“I think love is a fickle thing that we have no control over. You should know,” you say, raising a brow at him.
Instead of falling in love with a noble like he was expected to, he fell in love with a lowly silvan elf. None approved of this. Not even his father which is why he banned her from Greenwood. It had been you that helped Thranduil see her and it was safe to say that it was you that got them together and have Legolas in the first place.
“That I would. I will kindly ask you that you do not hurt him. He is precious to me,” Thranduil says seriously and you nod.
“I promise not to hurt him and if I do, know that it is not intentional,” you say as you hear guards joining you.
You turn around and Thorin is there, being released from his restraints.
“How nice of you to join us.”
Thorin huffs.
“If I knew we would be put in chains, I would have ventured south,” Thorin grumbles rubbing his wrist.
“My apologies. I shall have your company moved to their own chambers. Do not thank me Oakenshield. Lady Y/n and I have been friends for years. I owe her this much,” Thranduil says and you give him a slight nod in gratitude.
Thorin nods as well, giving you a grateful smile.
Thranduil comes to a stop in front of the both of you.
“I have come to a conclusion that you are going into that mountain. Are you not?”
You turn to look at Thorin trying to gauge his reaction. You really wanted to know if he kept his word or if his anger got the best of him.
“We are.”
“I desire gems in that mountain. I am sure you know what I speak of. You were there that day your grandfather took what was rightfully mine. You both were,” Thranduil grumbles.
He sure knew how to pick fights didn’t he?
“Ah yes. I do and I will return them to you if you help my company safely out of these woods. We do not need another encounter with spiders,” Thorin states and you let out a sigh of relief.
Thranduil looks absolutely shocked. He definitely wasn’t expecting Thorin to be so agreeable, especially after he walked away from them when he needed them most.
“You must be wondering why I am so agreeable. It seems that we both have something in common: we tend to want to do things for y/n. Because of her, I decided to let go of whatever negative thoughts I had of you all. I recognized that day that you were not able to help us not because of the jewels you were denied, but because you would not risk the lives of your kin and for that, I have forgiven you,” Thorin states and the corner of Thranduil’s lips lifts before he gives Thorin a small nod.
“I thank you Oakenshield for your forgiveness. From now on, shall your kin need aid, I will answer. This I promise you.”
This meeting was definitely going better than you expected.
