Ensemble Stars Characters and what Vision they would possess

(In my opinion).

I tried my best to read at least some of their lore to understand them better, although some of them I still couldn't decide it, as others i'm 100% sure about it and commented why down below.

Please feel free and DO comment any opinions you may have!!

If you want to know any reason behind any of them pls ask away~ I'll try my best to explain it 💜

Before starting on the reasoning, I want to make a quick explanation on Genshin Impact visions.

Anemo: People who desperately seeks for freedom.

Geo: People who are VERY dedicated and hard working about their duties and objectives.

Electro: People who are DEVOTED to something (be it a ideal or objective) or someone, their perspective practically never changing.

Dendro: People who seek knowledge.

Hydro: People who have a high sense of justice, wish to become heroes or would do anything to protect others.

Pyro: People who are deeply passionate about something.

Cryo: People who are going through internal conflicts.

Illusion: These are fake visions, you can get any vision you want illegally with the cost of rapidly aging, shortening your life span by a huge amount as you use it.

No vision: It is what it is. Just because someone may have some of the characteristics above, it doesn't necessarily mean all of them gets one. The reason people get vision still not completely clear, it may be that gods are watching on the vision bearers for whatever reason, potential beings that could ascend to godhood, and many other theories.

"Why this character is this and not that?" Personality characteristics, some coincidences that vision bearers posses, as example: most Pyro bearers are very hyperactive, most geo characters are calm, some hydros tend to look down on themselves, most cryos feel like they don't belong anywhere/where they are.

This was just a brief explanation, but I tried my best to get through everything so reasons be easier to understand.

Ok some of the ones I'm 100% sure are:

Kohaku oukawa - Anemo: Spent his whole life trapped in his own room by his family, being the worst moments of his live. Once he finally got out to see the outside world, he would never want to go back to being trapped again (A good proof is when he scolds Rinne for trapping him in the dressing room of Knights).

Hiiro Amagi - Dendro: He's always wanting to learn about everything: what's an idol, common sense and things about the city, trivial things, what's considered right or wrong. Anyway, hiiro amagi learning moments.

Adonis Otogari - Hydro: Everytime you see Adonis, theres a 100% chance he will say they want meat or give you meat, or that his wish is to protect the weak and his friends.

Madara Mikejima - Hydro: This one i also barely have anything to explain. The sense of justice, back when they wanted to be a hero with ryusetai, overprotective of his friends. They are the full hydro bearer bag.

Kanata Shinkai - Hydro: No. It's not because they puka puka. I actually tried to find any other vision that it could be fit for them, but any path I took just ended up in Hydro, the only reason i could find is the wish to protect the ones he loves the most. To be honest, we all just want him to be Hydro related cause water, so instead of having a hydro vision, i would say he's the hydro dragon (elemental dragons have no need for visions, they have complete control of the element and are more powerful than gods).

Niki Shiina - Pyro: This is one of the most obvious ones and I'm not accepting any other opinions. His passion is food and cooking, do I need to say more?

Rinne Amagi - Pyro: Same thing as Niki, His passion for idols and living in his own life style.

Subaru akehoshi - Pyro: The passion for stars/shining things, also his personality come strong on this one. As pyro characters, they are hyperactive, cheerful and though things sometimes gets them sad, they try their best to not show it or let it get to them ("that akehoshi" situation).

Aira Shiratori - Cryo: Despite his love for idols and achieving his dream of becoming one, the inferiority complex is strong on him, feeling like he's not good enough and that he is always falling behind even in the things he loves the most.

Discussion

Ritsu - illusion: I wasn't sure which vision to give Ritsu, mostly because I didn't find anything about him that looks like a strong ambition worth a vision, but I know he would definitely want one just because his brother has it.

Himeru - Illusion: I think this is the best for him because of his "condition". Himeru would have a illusion based on Kaname's, as I believe he would have one. Particularly, even as a HimeruP, I don't think Himeru would have any vision, I don't feel like their ambitions are strong enough to get one, but if I had to pick any, I guess Cryo may fit him better.

Eichi - This one is mostly lore related because as I explained, illusion beholders age more as they use the illusion, so I decided to give eichi an illusion because of his illness, but I think Electro could also be an option for him.

"Why is Madara Hydro and Chiaki Pyro?" because of their personalities. If you know Genshin, Madara gives me a hydro-Childe vibes, the "villain" but he's actually a good person deep inside (yes I used to be a childe main), also the feeling of not being good enough for others, that they can not be loved by anyone ever. As for Chiaki, Pyro characters rarely gets down on whatever sad outcomes that may happen, although it does happen to Chiaki, he stands up again and keeps on being the hero everyone needs.

"I think Rei should be Anemo" This is my friends opinion, their reason being that the thing Rei wanted the most is "to be freed from it's adult responsibilities and just live a happy life he was supposed to have since he was a child" although it is something that is indeed true that he said, in !!Era I mostly see Rei taking responsibilities of his own accord instead of being obliged to do something or everything will fall apart. "I don't understand" this is when personalities shows up again, weirdly, most geo characters didn't want a geo vision, find it useless or are unpleasant they got a geo one, even so, they make it useful somehow. So in my opinion, even if his wish is to be free, they are more bound by the duty and being able to help others then living his own life.

I guess that's it for now, i guess some of them are still not clear but im open to discussion, (except for niki, they are literally xiangling on enstars)

reasons behind visions

eichi - cryo: not sure yet but cryo just fits

wataru - anemo: following the trend of anemo characters having dead friends, he doesn’t technically have dead friends but there will be eccentric-specific lore. going off enstars canon, he feels that his friendships with the eccentrics are dying

tori - electro: idk i just thought it’d be funny to make him an electro claymore since he looks like dori

yuzuru - hydro: he’s very dedicated to his position as tori’s butler, and most hydro characters have a strong dedication to something

hokuto - cryo: im honestly debating on changing him to hydro but i remember he was like an “ice prince” or smthn in past enstars stuff

subaru - pyro: passionate about. uh i haven’t gotten that far. use your imagination

makoto - geo: iiii dont have a reason for this one

mao - dendro: he seeks knowledge to become a stronger fighter as well as a healer, as he wants to be able to be both instead of having to choose just one

chiaki - pyro: passionate about being a hero

kanata - hydro: fishie.. dedicated to his position as a member of ryuseitai? ill post better lore eventually

tetora - pyro: passionate about being the manliest man

shinobu - shinobus vision hasnt been decided yet. stay tuned for more bangers

midori - dendro: idk it felt right

hiiro - pyro: passionate about seeking out his missing brother

aira - electro: i had a good reason for this but i forgot what it was

mayoi - electro: electro characters tend to have some reason that makes them see the world differently. mayoi’s intrusive thoughts and stuff tie into that. i was really torn between making him electro or cryo ☹️

tatsumi - dendro: in gshnstrs lore he’s very wise i will elaborate eventually

nagisa - geo: hard-working .. uhhh i’ll elaborate one day

hiyori - electro: i will elaborate eventually

ibara - electro: sees the world differently since in gshnstrs lore he was raised to be a killing machine (i swear ill explain later) and when he finally escaped he didn’t understand how to be normal

jun - hydro i think: i havent decided yet but i think hydro could fit because i want to like. he’s dedicated to sticking by hiyori’s side and i think i might give hiyori a permanent injury or something. it’s just an idea right now

shu - electro: i think this might be obvious

mika - dendro: i can’t elaborate because it contains major spoilers for later lore

hinata - pyro: passionate about taking care of yuuta and shielding him from harm?

yuuta - anemo: he wants to be free from the expectations placed on him and hinata just because they’re identical

rinne - pyro: passionate about living his own life (you’ll understand later)

himeru - geo: uhhh idk i just needed more geo characters

kohaku - electro: it fits his colour scheme and uhh i’ll elaborate one day

niki - pyro: hes basically xiangling. very passionate about cooking

rei - electro: yyyyeah

kaoru - anemo: im so sorry its because of his dead mom

koga - electro: electro male characters always are linked to dogs so it fits LMAO

adonis - electro: sees the world different because he was raised in sumeru, not inazuma like the rest of undead

nazuna - undecided: stay tuned for more bangers

mitsuru - pyro: passionate about uhh idk just everything

tomoya - dendro: i dont have a reason for this

hajime - hydro: i dont have a reason for this either

keito - dendro: knowledgeable. also he shares a japanese voice actor with alhaitham (this isn’t why but it’d be really funny if it was)

kuro - geo: it just seemed like it fit

souma - electro: sees the world differently because hes fucking autistic about his sword idk. hes purple leave me alone

tsukasa - hydro: dedicated to becoming a knight and also a Specific journey that you’ll learn about later..

leo - anemo: he was once a pawn for eichi and seeks complete freedom from him. i know electro seems like it would make more sense for leo or even pyro but listen. i have convinced myself that he’s anemo

izumi - cryo: it just fits

ritsu - cryo: uhhhhhhhhh yeah

arashi - electro: she sees the world differently because she’s trans (i’ll come up with something better im sorry)

natsume - electro: it just makes sense

tsumugi - dendro: he has a lot of knowledge from the time he spent with eichi, but now he seeks more knowledge that he will use to guide and help natsume and sora

sora - electro: he sees the world differently because of his synesthesia (how do you spell it help)

madara - undecided, probably dendro or geo: uhhb yup

Enstars Pokémon HCs (that I may or may not draw??) This is quite a long list so I’ll put it under a read more

Ibara has a Seviper and Yuzuru has a Zangoose. I’m right and you know it. Also debating between Ibara having a Roserade or a Ferrothorn but y’know he can have both. As a treat

Jun has a Mightyena (he’s had it since he was a kid when it was a lil Poochyena)

Hiyori has a Meganium (the vibes just made a lot of sense for me)

Nagisa has so many fossil Pokémon. Like. That’s his entire team. He also has a small army of Carbink but no one knows where he keeps finding them—

Funny story so like. I don’t know if Bloody Mary would be a Pokémon or a regular dog here but if she was a Pokémon she’d probably be a Lilipup

You’d think Niki would have a Munchlax but he absolutely cannot ‘cause between the two of them they’d just go through too much food too fast (I fully believe he’d have a Morpeko tho)

Insta user fuyuhikoswife said Rinne looks like a shiny Pawmot and I don’t know if he’d have one but I can’t get that out of my head so I thought it’d be a fun thing to share (they also said Hiiro looks like a shiny Pawmi and yeah)

HiMERU Zoroark. AND he has an Inteleon (that used to be Kaname’s Sobble because someone, I can’t remember who, drew Kaname with a Sobble and I absolutely subscribe to the idea of Kaname having one of the crybabiest Pokémon ever) that only kinda listens to him. Like it’ll cooperate when necessary but it would prefer its original owner y’know??? I mean he could also have his own Inteleon that he raised instead if that makes you less sad—

Shu’s got a Furfrou and Mika has a Mimikyu

Kuro has a Leavanny (y’know the sewing and. Mom friend vibes)— it was a Swadloon during his delinquent days

Wataru’s got a Drifblim I think that’s also kind of a given (I don’t know if he’d have a Mr. Mime ‘cause he’s enough of a clown but he’d have a lot of Pidoves/similar bird Pokémon)

ALSO FUNNY STORY so I was originally gonna make Kohaku’s 6th Pokémon a Drifloon, like it tried taking him away since it mistook him for a small child after he left home but then he caught it. Until I figured he probably wouldn’t go anywhere near ghost types—

So anyways Hajime has a Drifloon ‘cause it tried grabbing his siblings but he was like “hey that’s not nice >:(“ and it felt bad but Hajime took it in and now they’re besties uwu

Aira leans towards cutesy/heart themed Pokémon like Luvdisc, Woobat, but I also think it’s so incredibly important that he has a Ducklett. Y’know.

Shinobu just has all the ninja Pokémon, like I mean Ninjask, Nincada, Accelgor, etc, but his main is Greninja ‘cause it’s a ninja and a frog (he’s also very partial to frog Pokémon)

Anzu has Delibird (to help her with work) and a Chansey (to keep her alive when she does too much work)
