I know there's not really an active HI3 agere community so these are mostly just for myself <3

💜︰I headcanon her small age as usually between about 3-4 years, but sometimes she’ll be as young as 0-1 if she feels safe enough!

🤍・Because she tends to naturally take on more of a caregiving role, it can be difficult for her to actually regress and stop worrying about others; it takes a lot of coaxing and reassurance for her to trust that she doesn't have to be the one looking after everyone else all the time

💜︰Mei tends to be more talkative when she's small, even if she's too little to really sound out words, she still tends to babble and try to communicate; sometimes she also like to roar like a dragon, or make other animal noises

🤍・Her main caregiver is Kiana, but Bronya usually ends up keeping an eye on both of them anyways because Kiana often acts like a child even when not regressed herself

💜︰Mei tends to be very attached to her caregivers, she really dislikes being alone; she normally doesn't throw tantrums or get upset but this is one of the few things that really affects her

🤍・She's also a very sleepy baby, and it's not uncommon for her to curl up next to someone and immediately fall asleep; as soon as she feels safe enough to relax, she usually ends up napping for most of the day

💜︰When she's very small, she usually calls Kiana "Nana" while Bronya is just "Nya"; when she's older, though, she's surprisingly eloquent and usually reads and writes at a more advanced level than might be expected

🤍・Kiana likes to buy her things constantly, even when Mei doesn't really need more stuff, whether it's pacis or toys or cute clothes; Bronya is guilty of this too, as she can't resist when she sees a plushie that she knows Mei would love

💜︰She probably prepares snacks and meals for herself before she regresses because she knows Kiana might make a mess trying to cook something when Mei is too small to help out; otherwise, the two of them have to depend on easy snacks like juice and chips

🤍・She really likes being read to, even when she's able to read by herself, and is especially a fan of interactive picture books with fun textures and such inside, though she also finds it very soothing to hear someone else's voice reading to her and will often fall asleep due to this

•While Void Archives doesn’t have much in the way of human emotions, it still understands human behavior. It notices subtle changes in its charge’s mood or energy and acts accordingly, offering practical solutions like a meal or rest when it sees signs of distress
