Daily update post:
Today, two Palestinian terrorists from the city of Hevron had carried out a combined, multi-scene terrorist attack in the city of Ra'anana, killing one woman in her 70's and wounding at least 17 more people. The exact details are still being investigated, but the two terrorists are said to be from one family, 24 and 44 years old, they were denied a work permit in Israel due to terrorist activity in the past, but someone in Ra'anana agreed to hire them illegally. They have both been arrested. The combined method they used was a stabbing and vehicular terrorist attack, they stabbed people, stole the first car, used it to run people over until they crashed it, then they stole a second, then a third car, and continued ramming into people across several streets, before they were stopped. 7 of the injured are reportedly kids, and at least 3 are seriously wounded.
As 136 hostages are still held captive in Gaza, 100 days after Oct 7, we got some data on the treatment of those released roughly 50 days ago: 85 are still under a nurse's supervision, 2 are still hospitalized, 54 are receiving mental health treatment of one type or another, only 18 have returned home, all the rest are still displaced, out of 40 kidnapped kids, 38 were released, but only 21 have returned to the education system, some in their own schools, some in schools improvised for their evacuated community.
In Turkey, an Israeli soccer player, Sagiv Jehezkel, who plays for a local team, scored a goal for it, and raised his hand, revealing to the cameras that on his bandage, he wrote "100 days," drew the Star of David, and added the date of Oct 7. It's obviously a gesture to the Israeli victims of Hamas, the ones murdered during or hurt by the massacre, and the ones still held in captivity.
For this, Sagiv was condemned by the Turkish Football Association, suspended from his team, which annoounced he'd be fired, and then he was ARRESTED and interrogated by Turkish police. For making a humane gesture to honor his country's victims. This is how Sagiv was portrayed in an antisemitic Turkish cartoon, with blood dripping from his lips, evoking the antisemitic image of the Jews who feed on the blood of non-Jewish kids:
Sagiv has been released after an appearance at court, and flown back to Israel immediately, but the head of the Israel Football Association said they're still worried for 2 more Israeli soccer players and 2 Israeli basketballers, who are currently playing for Turkish teams.
Shabak, the Israeli equivalent of the FBI (also sometimes referred to in English as Shin Beit), has confirmed today that Iran is operating social media platforms in Israel, that allow it to harass the families of the Israeli hostages, and Israeli security forces (for example, by exposing their addresses, or sending them flower bouquets with offensive messages). The Islamist regime of Iran is also using these to collect from surveys personal info on Israeli citizens.
I wanna share with you this screenshot from the article, as a reminder that just because someone says online that they're Jewish, or puts "Jewish" in their account name, doesn't make it so.
The chief rabbi of South Africa, Rabbi Warren Goldstein, in protest of his country's decision to file a false lawsuit against Israel at the International Court of Justice, has changed the customary prayer for the well being of the country. He said: "This government is on the wrong side of history. Its support of Iran and its proxies - Hamas and Hezbollah - encourages a global Jihad, and harms Jews and innocent people worldwide. It's impossible to pray for such a government."
This is 36 years old Osama Abu Assa.
He was a Bedouin, from the village of Tel Sheva. On Oct 7, he was at the Nova music festival, and one of about 367 people who were murdered there. I got to hear several people talking about what a huge heart Osama had, how he was all about giving to others and helping people. May his memory be a blessing.

GREES TO CEASEFIRE TERMS
🎯 Earlier today, the IDF conducted a precise, intelligence-based strike near Beirut, eliminating Mohammed Afif, the Chief Propagandist and Spokesperson of Hezbollah.
Afif, a senior Hezbollah operative since the 1980s, wielded significant influence over the group's military operations. He maintained contact with senior officials and played a critical role in planning and executing attacks against Israel.
Afif directed operatives to gather field footage for propaganda and psychological terror purposes. He also oversaw Hezbollah's responsibility for the UAV attack on the Israeli Prime Minister's residence in Caesarea on October 19, 2024.
Known for inciting violence and glorifying terrorism through Lebanese media, Afif was deeply involved in psychological warfare targeting the Israeli public, solidifying his pivotal role in Hezbollah's anti-Israel agenda.
🔸 Lebanon has informed the US administration of its agreement to the proposed ceasefire terms. US mediator Amos Hochstein is expected in Beirut on Tuesday to review the proposal's details.
⚠️ Iranian MP Ebrahim Azizi, head of the parliament's national security and foreign policy committee, warned that all Israeli facilities are "legitimate targets" for the Islamic Republic. He threatened retaliation "far more severe" than previous operations against Israel.
🔷 Hamas leaders have reportedly left Qatar for Turkey, as reported by Israel's Channel 11.
🎗️ Defense Minister Israel Katz convened a meeting with defense officials to discuss the hostages. A separate meeting included Shin Bet head Ronen Bar, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi, Mossad Director David Barnea, and Maj. Gen. (res.) Nitzan Alon to coordinate efforts to secure the hostages' return.
⭕ The Israeli Air Force intercepted a hostile UAV approaching from the east. Sirens were sounded in Eilat per protocol, and the UAV was neutralized before entering Israeli airspace.

[JPost is Israeli Private Media]
According to senior officials in Israel, the countdown to a potential war with Hezbollah has begun[...]
Israel has been preparing for this since the October 7 attacks. Israel was on the brink of launching a preemptive strike against Hezbollah (like it did in 1967 against Egypt) very early on in the Gaza war.[...]
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant was ready to attack an unprepared Hezbollah around October 11, mere days after Hamas’s attack, but the strike was called off at the last minute in the war cabinet meeting. Former IDF chief of staff Gadi Eisenkot argued against a preemptive strike, saying such an attack would have been a “strategic mistake” and would likely have triggered a regional war.[...]
The consequences of [war with Lebanon] would be utterly devastating for [Israel]. Experts explain that most of Hezbollah’s rocket capabilities are short-range, meaning that the entire northern border and the homes of farmers who have lived in the North for years would be destroyed entirely.
Major cities like Haifa and Tel Aviv would also be targeted and hit by Hezbollah fire, causing devastating in the most populated areas. War with Hezbollah means we would be forced to stay in bunkers, potentially cut off from the rest of the world, to avoid the chaos and destruction that can come about from Hezbollah’s attacks.

Anti-Israel groups across the US have planned major protests in response to the assassinations of top Hamas and Hezbollah leaders, social media posts reveal.
This week, Israel killed Fuad Shukr, the No. 2 leader in the Hezbollah terrorist organization, in a targeted strike on a building in Lebanon. The assassination came as a response to a Hezbollah rocket attack on the Druze village of Majdal Shams, located in the Golan Heights, which hit a soccer field and killed 12 children.
Then, on Wednesday, the leader of Hamas’ political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, was killed when a bomb exploded in his hotel room while staying in Tehran, the capital city of Iran, for the inauguration of the country’s new president. Israel has neither confirmed nor denied its involvement in the attack.
In response to these high-profile assassinations of top terrorist leaders, anti-Israel groups in the West mobilized in support of the terrorists.
In New York City, the group Within Our Lifetime hailed the men as martyrs, chanting that the “martyr is loved by Allah” and that “Zionists are the enemy of Allah.” They also chanted, “From New York to Gaza, globalize the intifada.”
Among the rallygoers, there were a number of Hamas and Hezbollah flags, signaling explicit support for the US-designated terrorist organizations.
A number of other groups are also planning protests on Saurday.
An organization called Montreal 4 Palestine is hosting a protest in order to “Honor his [Ismail Haniyeh’s] last demand,” which they claim was to mobilize across Israel, the Palestinian territories, and around the world to “support our people in the Gaza Strip and to free our prisoners in the occupation’s prisons.”
“You can’t kill a movement,” they wrote on X/Twitter.

Hezbollah’s al-Manar TV reports that wireless devices exploded in the hands of those carrying them in several Lebanese areas.
-- "New wave of explosions across Lebanon" by Urooba Jamal and Federica Marsi for Al Jazeera, 18 Sep 2024 14:34 GMT
According to the National News Agency, three people were killed when unidentified wireless devices exploded in the town of Sohmor in the Bekaa Valley.
-- "At least 3 killed in new wave of explosions: Lebanon state media", 14:48 GMT
Dr Salah Zeineldine, chief medical officer at the American University of Beirut (AUB) Medical Center, says the majority of those who were admitted to hospital following yesterday’s pager explosions had facial injuries to their eyes and nose, as well as injuries to the lower abdomen and their hands, mostly their fingers. “Unfortunately with the hands, we had a lot of amputation of fingers, and with the eyes, we had lots of injuries which would leave permanent dysfunctional eyes or complete impairment,” Zeineldine told Al Jazeera. He also said that it is common for medical staff to use pagers. “We [at AUB] use them for a limited number of personnel, who are [in] high demand, and the high stakes personnel who need to be activated urgently,” he said.
-- "Majority of injured have facial wounds: Doctor", 15:05 GMT
Lebanon’s National News Agency, citing the health ministry, says more than 100 people have been wounded in the latest wave of explosions.

Under the "Permitted for Publication" clause, the Israeli occupation admitted that the drone launched by Hezbollah toward Caesarea hit Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's residence.
Israeli media reported that the "long-bankrupt censorship" allows the publication of the "open secret", which is the damage caused to Netanyahu's residence by the drone strike.
Earlier today, Hezbollah Media Relations chief Mohammad Afif said the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon was behind the targeting of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's residence in Caesarea.

Thousands of people are wounded when Hezbollah's new PAGERS simultaneously explode across Lebanon, killing eight and sparking mass panic, with sources blaming Israel
Thousands of people have been wounded in Lebanon this afternoon after pagers used by Hezbollah fighters to communicate exploded, so far killing eight, including an eight-year-old girl.
The wave of sudden and unexpected detonations, which began around 3:45pm local time (1345 GMT) and lasted roughly an hour, has so far maimed over 2,750 Hezbollah members and civilians, giving way to widespread panic and chaotic scenes across Beirut’s southern suburbs, the Bekaa Valley and southern Lebanon.
Victims were seen sporting significant wounds as they lay on the ground surrounded by terrified bystanders in images shared to social media and broadcast by Lebanese and Israeli networks.
Yet more harrowing clips taken inside Lebanese hospitals showed how some unfortunate victims sustained massive head injuries, gaping wounds in their legs and abdomen, or had their hands blown off by the powerful explosions.
At least two Hezbollah fighters - one of whom is the son of Lebanese parliament member Ali Ammar - and a 10-year-old girl were confirmed dead by multiple security sources and a family member, according to AFP. A spokesperson for the proscribed terror group has since said that Hassan Nasrallah, the group's chief, was not harmed in the blasts.
Hezbollah says that Israel is 'fully responsible' for the simultaneous explosion, warning that the nation would be punished.

And what of Trump? As president, he accomplished nothing except dividing the country with his paranoid bloviation, and since then has mounted an attempted coup against the United States.
It’s Trump — who has a family history of dementia — who’s increasingly unhinged.
Trump has said that under his administration, “If you rob a store, you can fully expect to be shot as you are leaving that store.”
Trump has claimed that Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed militant group, is “very smart.” That whales are being killed by windmills. That he won all 50 states in 2020. That he defeated Barack Obama in 2016. That the outgoing chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff should be executed.

The Israeli military appears to have intensified ground operations in Gaza as terrorist group Hamas stalls ceasefire talks by refusing to provide information about the well-being of some 136 Israelis in its captivity since October 7.
The terrorist group “refuses to provide the names of Israeli hostages who are still alive,” the Israeli news website YNET reported Sunday, citing a government official.
With Hamas stonewalling the negotiations, Israel has decided to stay away from the talks and won’t be “sending a delegation to Cairo today,” The Times of Israel reported:
-
While Hamas refuses to assure the well-being of hostages and threatens Israel with renewed terrorist attacks during the upcoming Ramadan month, President Joe Biden on Saturday ordered the first U.S. aid airdrop into Gaza.
Even before the October 7 terrorist attacks, Hamas has been hoarding large quantities of food, fuel, medicine, and other essential commodities in its terror tunnels. “Hamas has spent years stockpiling desperately needed fuel, food and medicine, as well as ammo and weapons, in the miles of tunnels it has carved out under Gaza,” The Wall Street Journal reported late October.
During the ongoing counter-terrorism operation, Israel has been allowing humanitarian aid into Gaza. Aid convoys continue to enter Gaza despite Hamas’s repeatedly plundering of trucks at gunpoint, videos like these on social media show:
