i feel like we need more evil catholics in this tourney because i've submitted exclusively people that are like. good. and sir keridan is truly the epitome of like the puppet-on-strings type catholic. he's described, hauntingly, as having a stare that both meets the eye and remains vacant. he's full of an intense rage against anyone who would dare question the bulb yet still makes the time to pray over lapin cadbury's body. he's the result of the first player character permadeath in dimension 20. its just. hes freaky

Keradin is canonically so profoundly faithful that he is immune to being mind controlled. He has never acted out of his own volition in his ENTIRE life. He goes from saying "by my life or death, I shall protect you" to someone to personally bashing their head in with his mace because they turned out to not actually be Bulbian. Those two events occur within 48 hours of each other.

What he is about to do has not been approved by the Vatican.

He’s a priest whose entire job is exorcising and hunting down demons. The Vatican does not want this. But he sure does do it!

Father Garcia is also a candidate but I wasn’t sure if you wanted more than one from the same series. I guess John does have a crisis of faith after all the stuff that happens but in 2/3 of the chapter 3 endings he continues fighting demons and stuff so ultimately he’s still catholic (he dies in the other ending so he doesn’t even leave the faith then).

so i’m not ENTIRELY sure if he counts as catholic because i don’t really know the difference between christianity and catholicism as i’m not personally religious (the creator of faith is christian). but basically he fails an exorcism then battles demons and a cult because they wont leave him alone

Okay it's cannon but like in an alternative universe because Comics. I just think the fact DC made Known Murderer and Reblious Teen with Daddy Issues a Catholic priest in a different universe. Just. Casually.

Jason Todd is may or may not be Catholic in the main timeline of DC Comics, but I the Flashpoint storyline, my man is a priest! He was a drug addict, thief, and in the Blood Brother cult before dying, only to come back to life and decide to become a priest in the hellhole that is Gotham. In the main timeline, he comes back after dying and stuffs a duffel bags full of heads! The common trait before all Jason Todds is that they all have to be as dramatic as possible. Dying and coming back as the most unexpected thing. Unbelievable. I love this man.
