BT: Buddie is delusional and everything they come up with is stupid and insane and god they need to get a clue on how life works and none of their dumb theories will ever come true.

Also BT: so buddie had this theory that was totally stupid BUT if we apply it to Tommy it is totally amazing! It’s the best theory on the planet then! But we totally thought of it ourselves. No one else did.

Today’s stolen buddie thing: Couch Theory.

The couch thing in particular is funny to me, because they keep saying we need to respect Buck's choices, and well, Buck already picked a couch very explicitly, with Natalia, so if we are suddenly respecting Buck's choices, we all need to let the couch go. The couch thing has been resolved in canon. Like it or not, Buck ends season 6 picking a couch. And the whole thing with the couch is Buck picking himself or not being scared to pick wrong, so no couch attached to someone else is a resolution. The couch is not something we picked up on, it's something Buck said, so no matter what the couch pointed to on a meta-level, Buck resolved it himself on screen and until someone on the show mentions the damn couch again, the couch doesn't matter. We all need to let the couch go. And they need to find something that's not stolen from us with Eddie's name replaced because this is getting boring.

well, I can't say I expected the new chapter to feature Idia (metaphorically) going to (metaphorical) hell, getting a pep talk from his (metaphorical) Phantom brother which helps him finally move on once and for all from his brother's death, and (metaphorically) overblotting again to fight his way back out of (metaphorical) hell, only to have his darkest fear (non-metaphorically) come true when his mom goes through his computer and finds all his secret files. but I am glad it did!

also this is all a flashback for the purpose of explaining to our group what the heck is going on (whether or not any of it is getting through is another matter)
