Actually, one more addendum to The Libby Saga (AU for SIX where Lena doesn't die, she and Bear go on to have a couple more kids, until he realises that things don't feel right and a helpful stranger points out a couple of things that starts them both on a path that they never saw coming), which I am putting in its own post because it's an aside and because the original posts here (and this was someone else's post that sparked an idea in me and then I moved it away from there to not take over that), here and here (that might look like the second post again, but it has the reblog with the next part in it, too) are getting a bit unwieldy. And also because I think it might be easier for me to keep track of things in smaller chunks, too.

Anyway, I always planned on giving Alex an awesome girlfriend along the way in this universe, but now I've changed my mind.

listen the thing about maximus and lucy is now hear me out lucy is a dashing prince from a far away land who's quest is to find her father, but she's not going to say no if she finds a princess along the way and maximus is a dainty princess cinderella orphan raised by his evil step brotherhood of steel and when he tries to escape he's locked away in a towerpowersuit that dashing prince lucy has to rescue him from. and lucy's spoiled and out of touch but also really smart and she tells him that if he comes with her he'll be safe for the rest of his life and she'll show him softness and kindness that he could literally never have conceived of before and yes she's wrong but she means it she really means it and imagine being loved that much after life in the brotherhood
