how long did your questioning process take (if you’re not still going through it)? 

in terms of my sexuality, i think it took around 6/7 years to really feel comfortable in putting a label on the way i felt ? but then you get invalidated by some people in and out of the community and you’re like :/ gender has been a lot harder to come to terms with and i’m still not fully comfortable

have you ever been to a pride event?

i went to oxford pride yesterday for the second year running and i’m planning to go to london pride in july.

favorite LGBT artist/writer?

i hardly know any modern artists or writers but i can relate a lot to mary lambert’s poetry/writing.

has Tumblr been more harmful of beneficial to you when it comes to discussing LGBT issues or figuring yourself out?

the only thing i would say that has been potentially harmful is that tumblr ( in some respects ) gives you a false sense of what the world and the people in it are like. so you go out into the ~real world~ and people are awful ? and you’re like, ‘o werk. forgot about that for a second.’

i ... actually don’t remember. it was always super accepted with my friends and family. i never really came out. it was more just.. my parents already knew. all my friends are lgbt+ anyway.

in middle school up until uhh.. junior year? i said i was bisexual but then i learned about other sexualities and i was like oh !!! cause i always said it never mattered to me, but i didn’t know there was a whole sexuality like that until sophomore year.

it’s actually been beneficial because it showed me what pansexuality was and among other things. and honestly?? before it became more .. socially-aware? i learned about a lot of the issues from here than any other source.
