truly i don't understand the rage against tobias when cameron is easily the worse character and league loss in literally every way. and in a weird way, i feel like i'm preaching to the choir, because people DO hate that league loss a lot and i don't think people think it isn't horrible, but like. idk i feel like he's a much more offensive character. at least the tobias loss came after a battle that made for a perfect DP finale for ash's character, and the loss itself (while hamfisted) didn't serve to humiliate ash and make him look bad. and in fact spoke to his strengths as a trainer that he managed to take out two legendaries in a row. and the battle itself was really cool. and it's actually funny.

cameron's battle mostly exists to be a meanspirited joke that makes ash the punchline, belittles ash's team in the process (i'm so sorry. i can't let the joke about oshawott being a "throwaway" go), threw in a psuedo and just relied on that for good action, made cameron look as terrible as possible in the battle just to make his win more "funny"... he brings nothing special to the table and he only serves to humiliate ash. like damn. at least his losses to tobias and alain still felt like they respected how he'd grown throughout the series.

top portion of the map is absolutely gorgeous. the fall colours are beautiful. the constructs are creative and blend in well artistically and narratively. theres cooking pots everywhere. its still large but a blip on the map comparatively and very mountainy so its very good to explore and find secrets. scratches my brain

im gonna talk abt tf2 and pokemon again bc i can.

scout of course would dig fast pokémon!!! he's probably got a jolteon he loves dearly, maybe even a crobat he was given (as a zubat) in childhood. from who? eyes emoji there are faster pokémon, sure, but a lot are legendaries or bugs- and he's still trying to warm up to bugs. when/if he did, you KNOW he'd be all over ninjask or accelgor. he usually fawns over pokémon he thinks would make him look cool or fit his fight style (ie hit ur opponents the hardest first & dont get touched) but has a weak spot for some of the "cuter" ones. probably tried to lick a vanillish. as staunch a believer i am he'd be from castelia city, i like the idea that he used to be a rocket grunt, or someone who wanted to join team rocket at one point. i was trying to decide if he'd have a type preference but i like to think he's a mixed bag, mostly because every pokémon is cool and exciting to him! if you did ask & he did have to pick, it'd definitely be electric. wait, dragon, obviously... nah, fighting is good. no wa

soldier's partner is obvious! zigzagoon! mostly bc its a raccoon-like lil dude... he probably gives nicknames to every pokémon he sees, not necessarily just the ones he tries to catch. because lets face it, his zigzagoon is the ONLY pokémon that matters to him. well, that and any that catches zhanna's eye. his zigzagoon carries an everstone and is probably stupid high levelled but nobody really keeps track. soldier does initiate a lot of battles, but they're more fun when zhanna's with him too! theyre an inseperable group who probably wreak enough havoc to be considered their own team of hooligans, but who's to stop a happy couple with their adorable op pokémon? also i kinda wrote all that down super quick buuuut zigzagoon also works as a support pokémon for him when his stability gets extra rough, laying on his lap and helping to keep him grounded. he doesnt have any desire to keep more pokémon since he's fine with just 1, but if he had more i think he might get along with loudred or chatot. (chatot would DEFINITELY take some warming up to on his end but i LOVE THE THOUGHT)

pyro loves fire types of course!!! theyre probably the only one brave enough to pet their hotter ones. engineer probably made em special gloves just so they could play with their slugma... its hard to pick favorites, but the ones theyre closest to are slugma and monferno. they also have a solosis who just loves to play! unlike other people who usually just have one pokémon walking with em at all times, pyro tends to keep all three of theirs out of their pokéballs. they worry about them getting cramped or bored, and while its good exercise, sometimes its difficult to wrangle them when solosis has someones hat and slugmas melting through the furniture and monferno found spy's disguise kit.. theyre a big happy family though!! i think pyro would also like fairy types a lot, but if they got a fourth pokémon, theyd probably keep it at a daycare for the sake of themselves and the rest of the team. just in case, they might really want a sylveon or snubbull.

demoman and any pokémon knowing any explosive moves is an obvious fit! i initially liked him and electrode for this, but since part of their biology is exploding unpredictably... maybe that ones saved for battling. or at least not kept at any of the bases. i like the idea of him keeping his battle partners & normal team separate. when he's not drunk, he's a very skilled trainer and actually took a handful of gym challenges when he was younger. of course it started getting tough to balance work and training, but he never intended to get far in gyms anyway- to him it was just a fun challenge where he got to bond with his pokémon. other than his electrode, he's probably also got a charmeleon (whos either causing mischief with pyro's monferno or keeping demo company while he works/naps) and a honedge (who he will spar with sometimes). he used to have several other pokémon, but he eventually didn't like keeping them all abandoned in pc boxes, and ended up rehoming a lot of them. scout probably has a meowth from him, but he wont tell you.

heavy never cared too much about setting up huge teams or amassing a large collection. he never carries pokéballs, but his party is made up of some impressive pokémon. unlike most of the team who catch their pokémon through normal means (trade/gift, fishing, etc), he befriended his naturally. its easy to say one is ursaring, so of course im going to say it. he wont share how they met, but i wanna say he found its egg abandoned and raised it from there. they probably wrestle a lot but theyre always careful not to seriously injure each other. he befriended his mamoswine (then swinub) shortly after, then his abomasnow much later, in between him busting his family out of the gulag & leaving to find work. he left all three in siberia in the care of his family, but has a teddiursa from his ursaring to think of them all by. probably spoils the crap out of em all every chance he gets though, he loves his pokémon as much as his human family and saves recipes for poképuffs & poffins.

engineer wasn't always on board w the idea of a partner pokémon, mainly because he was always into engineering and was sure he'd be too caught up in it to focus on.. well, anything else. sure, when he was younger, he was like most kids and dreamt of being a league champion, but it always seemed to fall through.. until he discovered steel types. he started his journey later than most, but more than anything he's thankful because they help immensely with his work and lighten the load. he has a magneton who.. isn't that bright, but he's cute and thats what matters. he's also got a rotom who occasionally helps experiment with new machines, but mostly just possesses dispensers and rubs itself on everyone and everything. yum, static cling! engie didn't get into battling as much as he thought he would, but he's essentially working his dream job with his best friends (and 8 other dorks) so things are pretty good. this doesnt mean he wont go for human help when hes stumped or burnt out, though! other partner thoughts i had were torkoal, raichu and porygon2.

sniper is probably the biggest pokémon expert out of everyone on the team (well, aside from medic probably.) he's basically a walking pokédex and can tell you all about type matchups. he's also way closer to his pokémon than people realize, and especially closer than any real people. this is especially noticeable with his baby kangaskhan- although with a heavier origin than simply "abandoned", he ended up bonding with heavy over the ordeal. even with more technical aspects memorized, raising this baby was a completely new venture- not one he hated though! he also collects bug pokémon (that he lets scout get close to,when he tries to get over his fear) & has a slakoth that just kinda.. fell asleep on him one time and just never went away. other choices include koamala or krokorok.

medic is like a pokémon professor but fucked up. while he was primarily a human doctor, after losing his medical license, he started to dedicate time to studying pokémon. he doesnt run inhumane experiments on them because i said so. he's working on filling up his pokédex more than anything, and loves listening to others talk about their partners or other species theyve seen. he has his own pokémon too of course! as the team healer its only natural he has healing pokémon like audino and blissey, but he has a soft spot for flying types, specifically the birds. he has way too many pidove. he probably has a massive aviary separate from his medical lab where he keeps more birds, namely pidgeotto, fearow and some starly. he used to travel a lot (especially after being chased out of his hometown), but he saw it as more chances to discover new pokémon. probably has a very illegal form of the pokémon boxes with no storage limit. also probably heard the stories about mew and mewtwo and actually got inspired. probably owns the most pokémon merc, specifically stationery- hey, if ur getting some unethical experiment performed on you by the german guy you tried to rob earlier that night, are you going to pay more attention to his shit eating smirk or his cool ass holographic pikachu pencils??? or perhaps the cutesy eeveelutions stickers on the back of his clipboard???? thats what i thought.

spy looks like the guy who would probably be the least into pokémon, but that couldn't be further from the truth. he's not as wild as scout or medic by any means, but back in his day he was "pretty decent" (a gym leader.) i like the idea of zoroark being his partner, but you know who else is cool??? cofagrigus. gengar. banette. probably the only one on the team to actually get into mega evolving. and the only one with a shiny, but its gengar so we dont talk about that. i wont imply he loves his pokémon over his own family, he's just had a lot on his plate. remember scouts crobat? while hes got a more methodical approach to battling, he doesnt do it nearly as often as he used to. he still keeps his gym team, and though they tend to be more serious than the other pokémon in the base, they do on occasion get into trouble with others, namely pyro's solosis and scout's jolteon. not misbehaving on purpose, just being curious :0 probably uses luxury balls to catch all his pokémon and has an unused love ball with scouts moms name engraved on the bottom. (either for the novelty, or maybe hes trying to find the right one to catch for her??)

Heya! Such a cute ask, so lets go for it! I changed shouji for kirishima since it’s just been our boy’s birthday _

Midoriya Izuku

This boy would know their brithday months in advance, he definitely would. He has a notebook, see. Just like the ones he holds for heroes, but he has a special one just for the people of importance to him, filled with the most unnecessary - and in other circumstances downright stalk-ish - wee details about their lives, tastes, alergies, likes and dislikes and so on. Nothing escapes his observant eye and unmatched gentle heart.

In classic nerd fashion, he would jot down new ideas for his s/o birthday whenever they would occur to him, be it about gifts or just activities, who to invite (and who not to), if he ended up doing a full outing.

So by the time the date starts to approach (almost a month away, we are dealing with an anxious boy here), he will look them up and start making more concrete plans, he will even get a detailed copy of his s/o schedule by hacking into their google calendar somehow, just so his planning will be viable.

Likewise, the always observant Midoriya doent’s fail to notice how absolutely busy his s/o is. Not only schedule-wise, but how their mind seem to be always planning and occupied with something and things and other people and the wolrd - with not much to spare for themselves. He starts suspecting that they might be forgetting a very special date.

He knows he’s absolutely right by the day before the birthday, with his s/o having made no allusion or comment about their birthday and what they would like to do. And Midoriya, more than willing to take that weight out of their (very busy) shoulders, thought it best to not ask and remind them. He’s got it.

Given how busy his s/o is, he plans something subtle, more intimiate and relaxing, as opposed to an outing which would demand more energy.

There would be no warning either, he would approach the whole thing very subtly, like. Making sure to make his s/o remember that they would have a date night or somesuch, downplaying it as if he just misses spending time with them and wouldn’t it be nice?

So his s/o will be completely surprise that at some point during their “date”, Midoriya gives them a gift and has a small cake as well, for the hell of it. For a second they even panic thinking perhaps they forgot an anniversary or some othe important date, I mean, it can’t be chirstmas already can it?

Midoriya thinks is the cutest and feels a bit guilty for making them worry, but ends up reminding them is their birthday. He also tells them to be careful and take some time for themselves, but they know it’s half-hearted, what, coming from the embodiment of overworking himself.

Kirishima Eijiriou

With a heart that could fit within its maleable boundaries the whole world and the entirety of its population - pets included, no need to ask - with ease and space to spare, Kirishima would never purposefully leave his s/o’s birthday uncelebrated.

The key word here being purposefully. With enough naive distraction to compensate for the excess of kindness, he would easily get caught up in his infinite activites and the birthday would slip his mind (to his horror), despite having a bunch of notes in his calendar.

He thought, surely he would notice or remember one of the notes that he places in different notebooks and in different colours with varying degrees of saturation. Boy, he was wrong. That is to say, he notices it, but a day later and it takes all his self-control and Bakugou’s rough intervention for him to not bang his head againts the wall and destroy it in the process.

He panics for a bit, thinking surely his s/o would be upset, he didn’t even wish them happy birthday, for crying out loud! He feels lousy and as the worst boyfriend on earth. He is pretty much ready to get on his knees and apologize to them. And then his s/o calls him acting with all naturality and it strikes him that they, too, had forgotten, which leaves him hertbroken.

He’s a man on a mission now: he needs to do something for his s/o, they deserve the absolute best because they are amazing and he’s not going to let their birthday go unnoticed, that’s not manly at all. He wants them to feel loved and appreciated.

Ends up managing to put something together in record time, with an outstanding level of friend’s help and presence that only someone with his unique level of charisma is capable of pulling. Bakusquad is definitely involved - Bakugou is extraordinarily efficient despite the fowl mouthed complains - and most of the class; he’s well liked.

He tricks his s/o into leaving the confines of their room and their deadlines to come and meet him at a close by park at dawn of that very same day. One day after the offiial birthday date, but it’s something.

His s/o is clueless, tired and had needed some good-herated convincing, but they show up only to find an open-air improvised barbeque gathering with Kirishima and their friends. There’s music from improvised speakers, improvised fairy lights wrapped around the trees of the area, it’s nice, chill and good spirited.

Kirishima will “drive” the barbeque, having smartly been left out of cake duty to favour the more talented (aka not turning it into a sorry piece of coal), such as Satou.

He gives his s/o the biggest of hugs, enjoying the delighted surprise in their faces when they see everything.

Tokoyami Fumikage

Not too big on celebrations, this one. He doesnt like fuss over his own birthday, and will miss entirely the point on why someone else would want a fuss either. He finds it annoying and unnecessary and if his s/o were the party type, he would go (aka endure it) for their sake.

It doesn’t mean, however, that he will not do anything. In fact, he’s a bit nervous about it, unsure on what would be the best choice. He doesn’t wat to do nothing, but he doesn’t want too much either. Such a hard balance.

Dark Shadow is the stark opposite of helpful, hammering wild and ridiculous ideas nonstop at his ear and looking like he’s having a blast for that, the bastard. No he’s not going to pay airplanes to make a firework show using his s/o’s name, don’t be daft.

He will remember the birthday with some time in advance, perhaps 2 weeks. A romantic at heart, he will have made a note at some time or another that your birthday is a thing to come and to do something about, of course.

He will prefer to do something private, just him and his s/o. A nice meal that he knows they like, maybe an apple pie for desert? Because you know, apples make everything better always. It will look like a nice date, if anything, and his s/o won’t quite process that it’s a special occasion with only that. They have meals together often, including the rose at the center of the table. Nothing new.

The special part is the gift. He gave it some thought. Perhaps too much thought. Tried writng them poetry, but ends up embarrassed and with a bin overflowing with discarded scribbled papers, so he loses the courage and changes his mind.

Ends up making poetry after all, but he tells himself is cooler because its in the form of a song. He’s not a professional player by any means, but his guitar is a good hobby and he compensates lack of skill with the honest heart behind his composition. There’s also flowers, lots of flowers. Roses, of course.

It’s a bit tacky, since it ends up feeling like a bit too much, but it shows how much thought and awkward energy went into it, which is endearing in and by itself.

He ends up going a bit overboard afterall and purchases matching rings (promise rings, but he didn’t realise they were that specific type, he just liked the gothic design they had), given them together with a lovely card to his by now stunned s/o after he finishes the song.

The hilarious part is that, after he gives his s/o all those things they are unsure how to react, completely lost on what all this means. He has failed to tell them “happy birthday” and they are more than a little confused and slightly scared. Is Tokoyami perhaps asking them in marriage or something?

They end up asking that outloud, leaving Tokoyami absolutely mortified and makind Dark Shadow laugh maniacally. It’s also Dark Shadow that ends up clarifying the whole thing to his s/o, as Tokoyami takes a while to recover from the shock and is sulking.

demon. theres so many types of demons i dont have to be malicious, plus i could blend in fairly well. theres no rly big downside except ill be frowned upon by other divines

someone: you hurt my boyfriend you take away his fp you pretty much fuck him over and you proceed to have gross/abusive kinks shut the fuck up ugly i hate you so much and i never even talked to you i never want to see you mention his url or name ever again youre so awful

something: school fucking sucks and i can bring up a lot of reasons for this. 1: some of the teachers hired are only hired to educate, so personality wise they could be oppressive towards their students. 2: while i do feel like having a core lesson plan is okay, FORCING kids into certain core subjects is bad and they end up not learning because they feel like they HAVE to be their best or else theyll fail, and thats awful. the grading system isnt completely awful, since it shows kids areas that need to be improved, but making it some life changing thing is just...bad...because at that point it goes from “well you need to improve in these areas, so why dont we offer you help so theyll be easier!!” to “GET BETTER AT THIS OR BE FOREVER UNEMPLOYED” and i hate it. i could rant about this.

ive just been.....depressed bc of low swing my dude. a big issue would be my entire “i want to do good but i suck” thing, and yesterday i had a really bad dream as stated earlier and it made me extremely anxious for the entire day until i finally talked to my friend about it. theres also the fact i have school but theres no way i can finish it now

sh/u it/suki is Bad. the y/oi fandom is made up 80% of really bad fuj/oshi who later hopped onto an extremely controversial manhwa. hea/thens wasnt too bad of a song. i still like mi/necraft/happy tr/ee friends. i like rh/ythm games but dont like rh/ythm heaven. mc/a wasnt awful. ut/apri as an anime isnt too bad but definitely doesnt match up to the games quality in both art and story telling. id/olm@st/er is a tad bit over rated. ens/tars should be localized to ENG.
