Werewolves (from shortest to tallest because I wasn’t sure how to organize them lol):

Brat (he/him, she/her guy): Shortest, smallest. Has dyed hair in human form. Wolf form has black fur. Demanding, bratty, pouts a lot but is genuinely really sweet.

Girlboss(?) (she/her): Second shortest of the group, but still taller than a lot of humans. More bark than bite, and thinks of herself as a big dog and girlboss even though she’s not quite there yet.

Nerd (he/him): Shyest of the group by far; always keeps his head down/nose in a book. His wolf form has reddish brown fur, and he’s got the hardest time controlling his instincts out of the group, being the most recently turned/added to the group. The others try to drag him into their fun and shenanigans but he’s pretty reluctant and kinda touchy. Prone to angry outbursts as well— he didn’t really want to be turned or stay with the pack. Some of them are growing on him though.

Delinquent (he/him): Wolf form is dark brown. Definitely has an attitude problem, and views werewolves as being better than people. Local heartbreaker— prone to flirting and running, getting into fights at the bar, and driving just a little too fast. This adrenaline junkie doesn’t want to stop for anything— except you, baby ;)

Hunter (he/him butch): Second-tallest of the group, with a white wolf form. Fastest and most efficient at hunting. No-nonsense kinda attitude overall but remarkably chill with the others’ nonsense, for better or worse 😅

Sheriff (he/him): Tired old man. His back hurts from carrying the pack and trying to keep them a secret from the government and human residents in the area. Doesn’t really like his job, but it gives him access to destroy certain files that could expose them. It also gives him an excuse to look after that damn troublemaker.

Interpack Dynamics:

Brat + Girlboss: Frenemies with benefits. Girlboss often feels the need to fuss at Brat and keep him in line, so he’ll be poutier around her. They also fight over makeup and clothes sometimes, having similar styles.

Brat + Nerd: Brat flusters Nerd a lot, and nerd is kinda tsun/unsure about it, not used to people being so affectionate or open in attraction to him. Brat loooooves how flustered nerd gets, but also wishes he felt more comfortable around him and has a genuine crush 💔

Brat + Delinquent: they’ll hang out and cause trouble together for sure. Parties, bars, good wingmen for each other. Delinquent has a definite weakness for Brat’s, well, bratty attitude and indulges her quite a bit.

Brat + Hunter: Hunter finds himself rolling his eyes at Brat quite a bit, but can’t find it in himself to be genuinely annoyed, unlike Girlboss. Brat likes Hunter a lot, and is always trying to figure out how to get them to like him more.

Brat + Sheriff: Brat really enjoys messing with the Sheriff and getting on his nerves, but is careful to not go too far with it. The Sheriff, for his part, immediately gets a headache whenever Brat comes up to him with that mischievous smile. Does his best to be patient, even with the over-exaggerated flirting Brat likes to put on. Brat would definitely let Sheriff hit, but Sheriff doesn’t seem too interested.

Girlboss + Nerd: she’s really the one he feels most comfortable around. She likes hanging out with him as well; they like a lot of the same shows and music, and they don’t stress each other out much.

Girlboss + Delinquent: she’ll go along with his antics, but they definitely have a frenemies thing going on. They respect each other but also despise the way the other goes about doing stuff, if that makes sense? He’ll also use her head as an armrest just because it gets on her nerves😂😅

Girlboss + Hunter: Hunter and Girlboss like each other pretty well. Girlboss looks up to Hunter and has a bit of a puppy crush, wanting to get stronger and be more like him.

Girlboss + Sheriff: Sheriff has a soft spot for Girlboss; to be fair, she doesn’t give him too much trouble. She thinks he’s pretty cool, but not as cool as Hunter.

Nerd + Delinquent: really at odds over how they view being werewolves, and how they think of humans. Delinquent tends to push Nerd’s buttons and bully him. Nerd can’t quite decide if it pisses him off genuinely or if it makes him feel something a bit… different 😳

Nerd + Hunter: Hunter has conflicting feelings towards Nerd— guilt for turning him, wariness for the dangerous anger he holds inside, but also a desire to help and protect him. Nerd feels resentful of Hunter for turning him.

Nerd + Sheriff: Nerd is also pissed at Sheriff for the circumstances of his turning. Sheriff feels some guilt over this, too. They are often at odds. Usually Sheriff has to keep closest watch over Delinquent, but since Nerd came around, he’s had to keep an eye on him more.

Delinquent + Hunter: the Delinquent tests Hunter’s patience anytime he gets, but Hunter has yet to cave in. Once in a blue moon, Delinquent can also convince Hunter to go in on his harebrained schemes like kidnapping you

Delinquent + Sheriff: Headaches all around. Delinquent is pissed at the sheriff for being so uptight and controlling. Sheriff gets annoyed at the delinquent for jeopardizing the group’s low profile. Delinquent is delighted at Nerd for being angry and difficult for Sheriff and getting Sheriff off his back lol.

Hunter + Sheriff: deep mutual respect for each other, they spend more time with each other than the rest of the pack. The decision to kidnap you, which Sheriff did NOT sign off on, drives a wedge between them. It’s hard to stay angry forever when the Sheriff is forced to face the fact he’s happy you’re here to stay too…. Even if it makes his job much harder.

It’s really all a ploy to get you riled up, quietly admires you with darting eyes, your aesthetic an entirely new sight to him that’s done not in a disingenuous way, he can’t help but fawn over you, especially when you’re being mean, when you aren’t treating him like delicate glass. (Basically, all the fics that I no longer really like, that I wrote pre-hiatus in like 2018 that have been up on AO3 the longest so statistically have the most kudos just from age LOL)

5. Do you respond to comments? I really really try to!!! Most of the time I get really overwhelmed though like YOU GUYS ARE SO NICE LMAO so just saying "Thank you!" doesn't feel like enough and I get really nervous about not seeming grateful so it takes me approximately 10 years to reply to comments. I try to catch up every couple of months, though.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? I'm sorry I love angst, but I am one of those writers who likes to have a satisfying emotional wrap-up at the ends of my fics so honestly most of them end on a sweet note. The closest thing is maybe les rousseurs amères de l'amour which was still soft, but definitely bittersweet.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? aksdjfhcabdsfk they all have happy endings bc I am a sucker and a sap!!! Home Court Advantage is definitely the silliest fluffiest ending though :)

Maybe one of the Louis/Lestat/Armand pieces I started....I love the 3 of them but I get burnt out so quickly because all 3 characters are so complex and so everything feels like an Ordeal with them because they're all very opinionated and only work in a certain dynamic if that makes sense!

16. What are your writing strengths? I think the thing I'm most proud of is my lyrical prose! I like writing sentences that just punch you in the face with feeling! I want my writing to feel evocative, I want the words and details to stick in your head and rattle around.

I wish I had better stamina and pacing to write longer pieces LMAO like honest to god it's looking like my next fic is gonna be around 9k-10k and it really truly felt like I was going to die writing it LOL it's taken me like 2 months and it has felt like pulling teeth the entire time. 18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? Like Kacy said, if it's done well and adds to the world of the fic, then sure! I'm definitely guilty of this trope, but I try to reserve it for the really high-stakes moments so that the language lands differently and is more impactful. But I also think dialogue (and even certain dialects) in different languages have the power to do more harm than good. Like, as a reader, I know that if I see a line of something in a language I can't read, the first thing I'm going to have to do is open another browser tab to google translate, and then go back and read it in context again, and by that time the flow is disrupted and everything is off and it's just hard!!

19. First fandom you wrote for? ooooh girl you should've seen some of the spicy Sweeney Todd fic I was hand-writing in my notebooks in high school. Actually it was more psychological angst than smut but LOL listen I'm a ride or die Mrs. Lovett girlie, what can I say.

20. Favourite fic you’ve written? I think in the grand scheme of things, Air Catcher will always have a special place in my heart. It was one of those rare lightning in a bottle instances where the idea came to me so suddenly and so clearly, and the concept felt so obvious I was like "SURELY someone has written this already???" but then I checked and NOPE no one as far as I was aware had written about vampire top drop, and so I just fucking went to town with that fic. It was among some of the first writing I'd done since coming out of hiatus, and to this day I think it's the only fic I've ever written where the end product was exactly what I had envisioned and hoped it would be. That fic was a gift from god to me LOL and it'll be one year old this summer! wild!!!!

I got into fandom by RP'ing, and I actually have a couple of them that we've been polishing up to post.

Destiel was my ride or die for a long time. It's how I met my spouse and a few of our friends. Like SPN was a shitshow, and Steddie has taken over the brainrot, but damn if destiel wasn't there for me when I needed it.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?

Honestly I've had a hard time getting any words to go recently. Right now it feels like A leg to stand on is just going to rot in my WIP folder forever, even though it was just supposed to be PWP (what the fuck guys.) I think realistically, though, if I don't finish anything it's going to be the long fic that I've had outlined for months and also haven't touched. Like I have a playlist for it and I know what I want to do but actually getting words into a doc? Ha. Ha. Haha.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I think I'm good at writing angst. Even though I don't write a ton of it. I'm good at changing the tone between one sentence and the next (and that is why don't go where I can't follow is my favorite fic of mine.)

My pacing is off sometimes, I always have to have spouse read and be like "Does this work?? Do I need something else here instead??" As much as I love Scream for me I feel like the ending kind of got rushed in my excitement to post it. 😅

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

It's something I would love to try but I would want to be really careful and not be an author who writes a character who speaks mainly in english, just throws out a random word or phrase of another language to say "See? It's diverse they DO speak another language!" lol. I would definitely want to not just rely on google translate and actually talk to someone who could tell me my sentences made sense.

RP, it was SPN. But the first fic I published was for Frasier (it's called "Passionfruit", it's Niles and Daphne. Frasier is such a niche little fandom on ao3 but I wrote that in just a couple of hours and I was so fucking proud of myself. And like, it's hot. 😌

I said it up there ^^ but I think it has to be Don't go where I can't follow. Again, less than 1,000 words but it's a little story with a lot of punch to it, and I will admit that I go back and read it regularly. 😌

⚔ ────▪ HA. Stable ? That's for Horses 😎👉👉 His mental health is . . . okay, I suppose. He suffers greatly from feeling worthless and useless, especially around other people who are much more useful than he ( which contradicts completely with his innate arrogance and pride. How can someone think they are both the best and the worst ? Only Vergil knows ). ⚔ ────▪ He hasn't been diagnosed by any human doctor ; they'd sooner throw him into a mental institution and pump him full of anti-psychotics if he was ever truly honest with even so much as a therapist. A half demon ? Being tortured by the King of Hell ? Killing demons ? Mass murder ? He'd probably be put to death. ⚔ ────▪ As for undiagnosed, oh dear. Major Depressive Disorder, probably somewhere on the autism spectrum. Would probably be misdiagnosed as having Anti-Social Personality Disorder ( but oh, how he does empathize. . . a little too much sometimes ), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder absolutely, if he doesn't have PTSD after what he'd been through then Dante has a wife and kids ; and he definitely struggles with self-worth but I don't think ' incredibly low self esteem ' is a mental diagnosis. ⚔ ────▪ He should absolutely attend therapy. . . if only there were a therapist for the preternatural. Any human therapist wouldn't believe him, and mark him off as delusional at the very least.

⚔ ────▪ I'd say thus far that Vergil's probably seen as much more kind than he really is, because he can be quite cruel. I think his outward politeness is mistaken for that kindness—but it isn't unwelcome. It's about damn time someone has seen him as anything other than to immediately stick a sword or bullet into. ⚔ ────▪ It . . . it's a battle ; he really is a good person underneath all the trauma, but he can lash out, he can still be very cruel. Battling his infernal nature is something he struggles with greatly, and empathy is not innate to him ( it exists, he doesn't have to learn it, so much as learn how to remember what empathy feels like ). That's the perks of a multi-faceted, nuanced character I suppose ! ⚔ ────▪ Oh, it matters a lot. Dear Sparda does it matter a lot. His biggest hurdle is having humility and accepting help where it is needed. Just ask Nerinda, Jaden, Destiny, Djahima, Nero, Dante, Lady, Lucia, Nico, Trish, or anyone else he's formed relationships with that has inevitably circled around to him needing any form of help ( but Jaden and Nerinda the most—they both saw him at his weakest, when asking for help was not a choice ! Both of their friendships started from tending to Vergil's physical wounds and they could tell you how much of a pain in the ass he was even accepting their help LOL ). He still struggles with seeing himself as weak for every asking for help . . . and they're both in the medical field ! It was ( essentially, though they could have denied him ) their DUTY to help him ! And he still gets embarrassed about it.

Ok, it's time for a manga review / recommendation!! I think the last time I did this was for 'Touch' which was quite a while ago, So let's do it!!

If you know me well then you must know that I love gag manga and Takashi Shiina's 'Ghost Sweeper Mikami' was exactly the manga I needed as a gag lover.

I knew Shiina as the one who illustrated the 'Yashahime' manga (I haven't watched or read it but I've read about all about it on the internet and apparently the Yashahime anime isn't good but Shiina's manga is a better version of the story since it fixes some of the issues), but that isn't his original story since its an adaptation of Sunrise's original sequel (based of Takahashi's work). So I wondered what kind of stories and type of characters does Shiina write and one fateful day I stumbled upon the TV tropes page for 'GS Mikami' and being curious since.... and eventually reading it.

'Ghost Sweeper Mikami' is a manga featuring Reiko Mikami, a greedy and selfish exorcist only working in order to receive big bucks, and her assistants Tadao Yokoshima and Okinu, the former being a horny and perverted teenager while the latter is a sweet and friendly ghost.

The strongest point and my most favorite thing about this series is the characters, especially the main trio. Despite Mikami and Yokoshima's main characteristic being negative ones, they manage to balance the others flaw out because they are just as bad as the other. Meanwhile, Okinu has a positive dynamic with both of them, showing of their better sides as well. This balance makes their chapters very enjoyable and fun to read. The recurring cast is fun as well, they all have dynamics which bounces of well on each other leading to great situations causing hilarity and overall a good time.

The comedy is absolute gold and the artstyle is cute as heck (probably my favorite Shiina artstyle, but I do prefer the coloring in the current style more). The main characters have a good amount of character development / depth which they receive as time goes in but I don't want to spoil anything.

As for any criticism, the last few volumes is definitely the weakest part of the series, like I enjoyed the content but I wish it could've been a bit strongly character driven while some chapters could've easily come before the 'final' saga. I also wished the ending was a bit stronger, I guess it was going for a soft ending but the execution ended up being kind of weak.

That said, every series has its highs and lows so don't be discouraged because of the above criticism because it is definitely worth a read for the content, some stories had made me burst out laughing while some had made me tear up. And now I miss the characters so much that I've started watching the anime as well (I'm terrible at finishing anime so I'll probably take forever to complete it, lol). If you enjoy a fun and enjoyable manga with some serious tones in between, then you will love this series. And since I've enjoyed GSM, I should probably check out Shiina's other work, 'Zettai Karen Children' sometime in the future...

Anyways, go read (or watch) 'Ghost Sweeper Mikami'!!

Given that Hibari is feral to some degree at the very least, do you think he'd be fine with camping in the wilderness for some time? Do you think he'd hunt his own food?

Canonically his favourite food is Hamburger Steaks, but what other foods do you think he likes? He is weak for the traditional aesthetic, so do you think this applies to food as well? Or is his secret, guiltiest pleasure just putting on a disguise and going to fast food restaurants late at night after a long patrol?

i think he'd be fine with it, yeah, but he wouldn't necessarily like it. but he'd be able to put up with it, especially if there's something else in it he most definitely likes doing. i'm thinking of when dino trained him during the varia arc, taking him away from namimori in various natural landscapes. and if it wasn't for hibari getting to try to bite him to death to his heart's content while they were there, i do think he'd have thrown a tantrum and been difficult about needing to camp outside sooner than later lol.

and tbh generally speaking i think that's the rule of thumb with him! there's not a chance in hell he'll do something he doesn't want to do and/or dislike doing, EXCEPT if, 1) it's something he needs to do and/or can't be done by anyone else but him (like the more civilized part of the disciplinary committee work lol, or, in a way, him being the cloud's guardian LOL), and 2) it's still something he doesn't want to do and/or dislike doing, BUT. there's something fun in it for him to do too, that either evens out or outweighs the sucky part of the thing. (to use the same example again, during the varia arc, he only put up with dino acting as his tutor because he got to fight him while he did.) the CATCH tho, is that the second the fun thing does not even out the sucky thing, let alone outweigh it, all bets are fucking off. see him breaking his watch during the rainbow arc, with no regards whatsoever for fon. (he's SUCH a little shit, i love him.)

i could see him hunting his own food, yeah! idk about him going through with the kill tho. i mean, i know it's only ever said he likes little animals, but i think he has a soft spot for animals as a whole. so unless absolutely necessary (namely if he's by himself, and, you know, needs to eat and there's no other food around), i feel like he'd let that part to someone else.

that said, he most definitely enjoys hunting them and backing them into a corner. not in any malicious way, but just to asset his dominance as the apex predator in the area lol. he totally lets them go after that. and even makes sure to get back in their good graces again after that. the way he sees it, it's just a fun bonding activity that lets both of them keep their skills sharp, because of course he does, you know how he is lol.

i do think so, yeah!! he has a soft spot for traditional food and enjoys it the most, but generally speaking i feel like he just really loves warm, homemade food prepared with care and love. which is why he makes kusakabe cook his favorite meal for him haha. i also want to say that... i could see that being something he associates with an act and show of love. i mean, cooking is absolutely a love language, right? so someone cooking for him would be them caring for him, and him trusting someone to cook for him according to his tastes and eat it would be him also caring for them. (wait, this is kinda sweet actually. 🥺💖)

what other foods he likes... oh, i'm terrible at stuff like this zedfcgvh!! but, well, cold desserts, maybe? and he hasn't much of a sweet tooth, but when he craves it, it solely happens through desserts. if he likes hamburger steak most, then i guess he's a meat guy too. definitely a warm drinks guy too, tea, and maybe coffe too tyl. uhhhh, idk, snacks too? i mean, biting all those people to death on the daily and all day long would require energy, so i'm sure kusakabe makes sure he replenishes it between one beating and another lol. hibari also makes sure to have and keep a healthy diet, but in a casual way. not too casual of course, he needs and would want to keep his body in shape and at maximum capacity, but no doubt in a more casual way than ryohei or yamamoto lol.

as for fast foods, only on occasion, and the rare type of occasions, re: healthy diet and him liking homemade food. and, you know, for me it wouldn't necessarily be him being hungry after a long patrol at night. i firmly believe that in such cases, if there's even just the slightest possibility to make it happen at all, he'd rather wake kusakabe up to cook him food with absolutely no remorse whatsoever. 😭😂

he likes and respects fast foods as places and a type of restaurants tho! because you can just walk inside them alone, and sit at a table alone, and eat alone before leaving, and no one bats an eye at it or thinks anything about it, and everyone lets you be because that's literally not uncommon whatsoever. he definitely doesn't like or respect the noise and crowd as much lol, but as long as it's not too much, i could see him put up with it just to enjoy a little more his time there.

on the note of him disliking crowds, maybe like, seven out of ten, he goes for delivery. he's also that much more likely to accept a fast food invitation (yes i'm thinking of the 10th gen haha) if you tell him you'll eat it some place quiet and cozy and he's comfortable and familiar in, and where they won't be too much people. (fast food night at tsuna's place, anyone?)

so in that way i don't think it'd be a guilty pleasure of his, but instead a pretty well-known fact about him. but if i should give him a food-related guilty pleasure, i honestly think it'd be something he's allergic to. like, he's lactose intolerant or something, and he doesn't care zerdfghhg. he's still stealthy about it and hides it from everyone, but only because he's annoyed to death by the nagging. it's not like he'll die from it, so what's the big deal? he only gets a little sick, get over it. he will keep having his milk and cheese and whatnot, just watch him.

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Absolutely! Definitely! How could I not? Lovely people have made the effort to tell me that I'm not posting into the void and I want to do the same for them. Plus, I just really like talking to commentors: they have interesting insights, or funny takes, or simply observed something that struck them and it's always fun to talk to them. Especially with the regulars who often comment; I feel like I've struck up a friendship with them.

What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

A microfic called The Bar. It's for The Rookie fandom and in it Tim gets increasingly drunk after his addict wife stole from his home and guilty reflects how relieved he is that he never told her his secret about being a selkie.

What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Like, all of them lol? I like to end my stories with people in love and a bright future ahead of them. Laughter and soft kisses are often how I fade out of a fic.

Do you get hate on fics?

No, but I think you have to be a certain size before you start attracting the haters.

Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Yes, but honestly it's one of my weaknesses - it just doesn't come naturally. But in Tarnished Copper Boy it's been about trust and handing over control. In The Gift it was a reflection of pent-up, forbidden attraction.

No. But I think if I did it'd be because I'd want to borrow the other universe's magic/fantasy structure.

What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

secretly omega Steve forced to take meds to appear as an alpha. he agrees to getting off with alpha Eddie but frequently makes sure that the lights are off and that touching only happens in certain ways that he controls. Eddie at first thinks its a reflection on him but increasingly suspects something is up until finally unravelling the mystery. there's definitely some Steve Harrington Has Bad Parents in there, but also some nuance about them genuinely wanting what's best for him.

What are your writing strengths?

I'm told dialogue and characterisation. and, honestly, that's where I have the most fun so it'd make sense that readers pick that up

What are your writing weaknesses?

description. I literally can't imagine anything in my head. have you seen that thing where ppl are asked to imagine an apple and there's a scale of ppl can see it in their head to not at all? I'm not at all. so I do a lot of online imagery research to help flesh my writing out.

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I generally avoid it because because I want it to sound natural and I don't think I'll hit the mark.

First fandom you wrote for?

X-files. During reading time in primary school I'd ask the teacher if I could write instead, and tried shipping them before I even knew the word.

Favorite fic you’ve written?

A Tarnished Copper Boy. It probably has the least love compared to my other fics, but that could be because it's a very large fic and chapters reflect that too, so it may be hard to invest in weekly (or, at least, that's what I tell myself haha). But I truly put my heart and soul into it, and I simply love it.

Praise Kink and Following Orders: Both ways. Look this girl is a lifelong soldier in the most regimented and strict knighthood in all Golarion. She lives to fulfill orders and loves to be praised for it, just as there's a small part of her that enjoys giving orders and making her subordinates feel appreciated for their own good work. You call Mino a "good girl" in bed and she's gushing even harder than usual. You give her very specific things to do or not do and she succeeds (don't come/don't make a noise/come for me/swallow it) and you cup her jaw and say what a good job she did and it's all over. She knows Regill has a bit of the same in him, though not nearly as much. A well-placed "good boy" is a critical hit which she uses sparingly to maximum effect when she's the one taking charge.
