Perfect little New Year’s Day pamper pack from @hairhouseaustralia . My hair is in need of some extra loving care after working all through the holidays. I started at 6am this morning to 🙃. It has been 🥵 hot and my hair has become a sweaty birds nest 🤣, anyone else with long hair struggle with summer? Seems like it is easier to just bun my hair but that also takes it’s toll on my neck as my hair is so heavy. Got some @davroe Vegan Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner to wash and cleanse. hey bby it was skin kandy! im guessin ur in australia? since they specialise in piercings (like thats literally what they do lol) they’re rlly rlly knowledgable and gave me a heap of advice on placement/jewellery/aftercare!!! piercing was $50 (jewellery was extra i think?? i lost the receipt) and any other jewellery you buy with it is discounted by $5 (and they’re cheap anyway)! wld recommend if there is one near you xx

Initial Investments

I was thinking about what I’d need on my first day. Turns out, a lot more than I thought. I did a huge errand day today - visited the doctor to get my tests and BC prescription, did a big shop for things I might need at the brothel which kind of felt like shopping for school supplies.

Daiso - 27.90 Eyelashes, hair ties, hair clips, flossing picks, toothbrushes, rat tailed comb, makeup brush cleaner, laundry bag

Myer - 34.96, 156.00 Silky robe (on sale!) + Carolina Herrera Good Girl EDP

Hairhouse - 36 Heat protect spray - I use the Dyson Airwrap and I want to use it more often so I have to protect my hair

Priceline - 84.53 Mouthwash, toothpaste, deodorant, dry shampoo, whitening strips

Mecca - 70.00 Urban Decay setting spray, Duo lash glue

Kmart - 20.00 Panties

  Some of it I can put towards tax deductions - lash glue, lashes, setting spray, panties. But my total initial investment out of pocket is 429.39. I’m not sure how long it will take to earn this - I’m really hoping within the first day but I think it will depend on whether I’m comfortable offering full service.

I’m also planning on sewing some little things to wear. I’ve been fairly obsessed with the Alexander Wang bralette that released a few years ago. I have some brocade fabric to play up the Chinese angle, so I think I’ll be making a few of these once I figure out how I want to sew it. I think maybe I’ll put a zipper in the front for... easy removal?

I’m also going to sew one or two little circle skirts - enough to cover my tummy and barely enough to cover my butt cheeks. It’ll be cute.

During my day of finding things at Highpoint, I walked past a Hairhouse Warehouse and saw a flash of something familiar at a counter display. They had boxes of the telephone cord bracelets (hair ties) I’ve purchased from local dollar shops, in all the colours pictured in my old post, and and a display of clear ones beside it.

Being a hair salon, they marked up the price (and then some) at 3 for $5 AU. (I’ve never paid more than $2.50 AU for a pack of six!) I’d never seen completely clear/transparent telephone cord hair ties before, though, so if anyone’s specifically after a clear bracelet (it’ll match anything, after all) this might be a good place to look.

These bracelets are big, a little chunky and loose enough to be comfortable without being so loose they slide down my arm. The coils are large enough that they look close to real telephone cord. The only downside is that, as they’re slightly larger than my other bracelets, they look a little out of scale when paired with some of the smaller coloured ones. They’re sturdy, though, and there’s no splitting at the seam like there is with a few of my cheaper bracelets.

I really like the bracelets and am glad to own them; I don’t like the price. (I wouldn’t have bought them if not for reviewing them and adding one to @ambiguouspieces‘s growing gift pile.) I hope I can find a suitably priced source for these elsewhere.
